Dante sat at his drawing desk, his artists working on the backgrounds for his book, some working on inking in final lines to help make time for release. Grayson publishing had turned to making north american manga with the craze that started in the late eighties and nineties, now having over fifty titles from north american manga writers.
Dante was the writer and main artist for the somewhat popular book series Outward Heart. he had to pump out new chapters for market alternating by month: New Florence, Neon Tokyo, then Olde Victoria City.
each with different characters, but the main point of each character was that they felt a huge loss, a loneliness born from sorrow. usually involving self blame and separation.
Dante had gotten over the loss of his parents, he lived his life in their memory. his father was a black fox from Russia, and his mom was a red fox from Wales. they had met when they lived in the same apartment building in Vancouver city.
Dante snapped out of deep thought, realizing that the page was done and he had been drawing a collection of smiley faces on his hand. he reached over to the phone and hit the speed dial.
"Hey Kingston? The new chapter is ready for editing, and all the dialogue is spell checked, your average yaoi bull crap, but i think i did a good job again" Dante said into the phone to his editor.
