Pokemon Homeland Chapter 6
Chapter 6 The Adventure Begins... ''Ah good grief'' Laura had spent two hours showing Rochelle to her parents and friends and she had also convinced to let her mom to go on a journey. Rochelle and Laura were walking side by side on a dirt road. Laura had her hands behind her head, she was just smiling and looking in the sky. She was remembering what the professor that came over had said: ''Remember these six pokeballs and this pokedex, and dont you forget that there are more gyms here than they let you know on TV.'' He had referred to this regions special size, there were nine gyms instead of eight. Each gym was a little different, instead of being categoryased in pokemon types they were categoryased in fighting styles. Laura took out her pokedex and started looking at varius of different pokemon, the pokedex itself was a small square device much like an Ipad. She exlored the region in this small red and black device. Rochelle was a little curious of what that small beeping thing was that kept her trainer so interested. Her motive in going to an adventure with Laura was simple, in the fire she had lost her home. She figured that there was nothing to lose, besides this might be fun. Rochelle was remembering the tales that some 'tamed' pokemon had told her of their adventures. Laura decided to check the map in the pokedex and found out that there was an fullt functional GPS system in it. ''Well would you look at that.'' She decided that the best way of reaching the next city was througth this forest that was a few kilometers away, and there seems to be good pokemons newbys. Thirty minutes of walking later... Laura and Rochelle had reached the forest and had entered it, there was numerous of different rat and bird pokemon. Laura really wanted to capture a new pokemon but figured that it wouldnt be a good idea... Rochelle was a Raichu and seemed to be in a good shape so catching a low level pokemon probably wouldnt be a bright idea. They then heard loud nom nom nom nomming and decided to check it out. They were walking for a while when they noticed a Sandshrew in an open field, but it was green? ''What the heck?'' She then looked at Rochelle that was smaller than a normal raichu and she was also light orange almost yellow, thats when she checked her pokedex and realised that these two were 'Shiny' or 'Mutated'. ..Would you look at that Rochelle`?'' Then she showed her the picture of an normal Raichu and Sandshrew. Rochelle was a little confused of the different color but didnt seem to mind. ''Wierd...'' The Laura looked at the Sandshrew and then at Rochelle. ''What do you say we capture it?'' ''Chu!'' ''Alright!'' Then the two jumped out on the open and the Sandshrew was a little startled. ''We challence you Sandshrew!'' The Sandshrew took an defensive position. ''Alright Rochelle I choose you! giggle I've always wanted to say that.'' Rochelle ran towards the Sandshrew and used Quick Attack. ''But I didnt say anything?'' Then Laura looked up on her pokedex to see what moves a Raichu could do. Meanwhile Rochelle had knocked the Sandshrew down and now charged at it once more, the Sandshrew braced itself with an Slash. The two collided and Rochelle once again knocked the Sandshrew down to the ground. Sandshrew got up and jumped in the air, then it got itself in to some sort of an ball form and started to roll towards Rochelle. ''I got it!! Rochelle use thunder bolt!'' Rochelle acted like she didnt hear Lauras gommand and charged her tail with silver light, she was ready to use Iron Tail. Laura was confused, shouldnt pokemon follow the orders of their trainers? So why didnt Rochelle do as she told her to? Her train of thought was interrupted by the clash of the two special pokemon. Rochelle had over powered Sandshrew with her steel type move. Laura was simply amazed how easily she had won the Sandshrew. Rochelle looked at her for a moment and then she pointed at the Sandshrew. ''Chu?'' ''Oh yeah!'' The Laura took a pokebal from her belt and threw it at the knocked out pokemon. She then fought of the pokeball, in the rest of the world the standart pokeball was red and white but here it was different. The pokeballs white part dark red and the red part was dark grey. Laura then fought of an different factor, the light when the pokemon cast out or called back was yellow instead of red. The pokeball had captured the Sandshrew and was now shaking with an yellow light going on and off in the middle of the pokeball. Laura was so nervous and excited, her 'first' pokemon was going to be special just like Rochelle! That brought up the question of simply how was this possible, this simply cannot be a coinsidence. But then the light on the ball stopped blinking as well did the shaking. ''We did iiiiiit!!!!'' Laura started jumping around with the pokeball repeating her happy yell. Rochelle really didnt understand why was she doing that. ''Rai- Then the pokeball slipped from Lauras hand and she startted chasing the ball. ''facepalm Chu.....'' ''Who the hell yelling and scaring the pokemon away!'' A deep voice yelled. Laura got scared and grabbed the ball and rochelle and ran for it. A young man came out of the bushes, he was bold and wearing black leather jacked and red jeans with black and red shoes. The teenager was sahking his head wondering where that shouting came from. A Monferno jumped out of the bushes and hopped on his shoulder. ''I dont know Emperor but that voice was familiar from somewhere.'' Laura stopped in the outskirts of the fores. she let Rochelle down and started panting heavily. Rochelle was nothing but confused, she literally had no clue what had happened. She took a look around and saw an city in the distance. ''Rai rai.'' She pointed at the city. Laura looked at what she pinted at.
''WE DID IT!!!'' ''facepalm with an heavy sigh Rai....''
