#4 of Xenomorphs

Author(s) Notes: Tadaa! Ch4! Not that any of you care right? You just want me to write a sex scene between some of (most of) the characters... Tough, that's going to have to wait but I promise you there will be sex in the story... just not in this chapter or the next. Also I need help; I'm having trouble coming up with names for some of my Xenomorphic charters. I can't just call them Bob, Jeff or Maria.... So if you got one please leave it in the comments or send me a message.

Disclaimer: I do not own Alien(s) & Predator(s). I'm a simple guy writing a story for your pleasure and entertainment, don't like it? Don't read.

Without further ado let's begin.

Echo Team, Location: Security sector, Time: 11:55 p.m.

After many detours through the tunnels later, Team Echo finally reached the Security sector of Vargo. Within the sector was the jail and armory along with multiple terminals that overlooked and controlled several different systems and functions to the entire settlement. It basically was the 'most secure' place within Vargo but obviously it wasn't secure enough... as seen by Aaron's Team.

"So we finally made it here... someone tell me who's bright idea it was to come here again?" (Nathan).

"Seemed like a good idea at the time although I have to admit, it's starting to look like a bad idea." Aaron replied surveying the room everyone was in.

".........."

"You okay Susan? You look a little pale" (David).

"Yeah just... *Shudder* didn't expect this..."

"This must have been where the last of the survivors made their final stand." (Mark).

"Them, plus whatever was left of the Army sent here..." (Aaron).

"Hell of a last stand, blast holes everywhere plus it looks like they bagged some of Aaron's 'friends' here and there as well" said Dave peering down a melted hole in the floor.

"Why did they leave the bodies here to rot? I thought they would have taken them back to eat at least" said Nathan inspecting one of the bodies (What remained of it...).

"Probably used them as bait to lure in/out anyone who may of survived/escaped and came back in hopes of some rescue." replied Aaron.

"Think there's still some Xeno's waiting somewhere for others like us to show up?" asked Dave.

"It's possible, but I bet there isn't. It's been so long and all the bodies are rotted out anyway that they wouldn't bother coming back unless they get desperate for food. However it wouldn't hurt to be careful regardles-"

*Thunk Thunk, CLICK!*

Everyone turned to see Susan quickly backing away from the body of a soldier she was inspecting. She turned to look at everyone before saying, "I umm... I think I set something off" she said. Sure enough everyone could hear the sounds of something 'ticking'.

"Do I hear beeping? I think I hear beeping..." said Mark.

"I hear it too, hey Dave... it's not a bomb is it?" Aaron asked.

Dave made his way to the body Susan was inspecting and nudged the body over a little. Dave was silent for a few seconds before turning back to Aaron. "It's a bomb alright it was set off by this, (Dave pointed to a wire connected to the soldiers body and disappeared into the floor) id say that we got 30 seconds before we blow up".

"Then what the fuck are still doing here!? Let's get the hell out of here now!" screamed Susan.

"I second that motion" (Nathan).

"Alright everyone back in tunnels NOW!" yelled Aaron turning around and sprinting back the way they all had come with his Team right behind him. It wasn't that far of a run to the access panel but they all had just gotten back in the tunnel closing the hatch behind them when the bomb went off. It wasn't that strong of an explosion but it was enough to create a shock wave that sent tremors in the walls and floors within 100 yards. After the blast subsided did anyone speak, Mark being the first.

"What the fuck was that about!?" he yelled towards Susan who was picking herself up off the ground from falling over.

"W-hat you mean?"

"Why the hell did you have to go set that fucking thing off! Our position is completely blown now and if there are any Xenomorphs around they will have heard that!"

"I didn't know!" she yelled back at Mark.

"That's enough! The both of you! Important thing is that none of us got caught up within the blast and that we are all still together. Although I have to agree with Mark, our position is blown and there is a good possibility that at least 5 or more Xeno's heard that blast. So I say fuck the Commanders order's and we start heading west again" (Aaron).

"Any specific area we're aiming for?" asked Nathan.

"I don't care where we are headed as long as we are away from this pla-" Mark was cut off by a second explosion that caused some of the tunnel behind them to collapse.

"Wow wow!" exclaimed Dave.

"Run!" yelled Susan.

Everyone turned around and began running down the tunnel they were in. Behind them they could hear several small explosions going off and along with parts of the tunnel collapsing as well. Luckily, it seemed that the collapsing rate of the tunnel was twice as slow as the current speed Echo Team was sprinting allowing them some breather room... or it did temporally. The entire tunnel shook with such force that it knocked everyone down.

"What the hell is going on!?" yelled Susan.

"Must have set off some sort of chain-reaction within the Security complex" said Dave.

"Yeah but there shouldn't be that much fire power within that place" replied Aaron.

"It's possible that one of the gas lines or a few micro-fusion power cells got caught up within the blast, which would cause several strong explosions to happen."

"That's great and all but we need to keep moving." (Nathan).

The Team starting down the path again but another tremor caused part of the tunnel up ahead to collapse blocking their path. "Fuck!" Mark yelled, everyone else started looking for another way out. "Over here! There's some sort of make-shift tunnel!" yelled Nathan a little ways off from the group. Everyone quickly ran towards Nathan to see what he was talking about.

"What the? You trying to kill us, this tunnel go's down at least a 60 degree angle!" (Dave).

"It's this or we stay here and die" countered Nathan.

"You two can stay and argue I'm going" said Mark as he slid down the tunnel.

"FINE!" yelled Dave.

Everyone followed Marks lead sliding down the decline quickly gaining speed. As they went multiple tremors and roars could be felt and heard but as they kept going deeper those soon faded away till all they could see was darkness. Aaron wasn't sure how long they were sliding, but he had to guess 5 minutes till a light could be seen ahead. Hope that isn't a wall of fire coming up at us, that would be most unpleasant. Better yet I wonder how steep the landing is going to be. Looking back behind him Aaron began to piece together a plan. Only bad thing was that it would probably only work for him since he was in the back of the group. Regardless Aaron began to fumble with his grappling gun before taking careful aim in front of him.

"Hey! How do I slow down!?" yelled Nathan.

"Be creative for once!" yelled Mark as he pulled out his combat knife and stabbed it into the tunnels side trying to create more grip/friction to slow himself down. Dave decided to sprawl his limbs out to grab/push against the tunnels sides to decrease his momentum. Nathan stole a glance back towards Aaron to see what he was doing and what he saw surprised him.

"Wow! Where the hell did you get a grappling gun!?"

"Stole it out of the armory before we left thought it would come in handy. Now if you don't mind I would like to get this in one shot."

"Where's mine!" Mark yelled still stabbing at the tunnels walls.

"I didn't know what color you wanted so I left it." Aaron replied. "Before you ask Dave, you neither deserve nor do I just you with one."

"Aww that hurts can I hold when your down with it?"

"No, here Nathan take this." Aaron tossed the some of the slack in the rope to him, "Hold on tight when I fire it and pray that it will hold both our weight."

"Thanks."

A minute later Mark was the first to reach the 'light' at the end of the tunnel. "Shit!" he yelled as he flew out of the tunnel flying a good 50 meters before smashing into some sort of 'soft' fabric before rolling to a stop dazed. David didn't fly as far as Mark but still hit the soft material on the ground absorbing most of the impact. Nathan looked back at Aaron with a pleading look of 'please don't miss' as he too flew out of the tunnel gripping the rope for dear life. Taking a deep calm breath and exhaling, Aaron pulled the trigger aiming for the ledge of the tunnels roof as he went by it. A *CLANK* was heard along with the rope tightening under the new weight against it but it looked like both it and the hook would hold. However this didn't stop the 'Back lashing effect'; both Aaron and Nathan swung back toward the wall slamming their backs into it.

"Oophh!" groaned Aaron as he continued to swing on the rope before it stopped.

"Ackk!" yelped Nathan before losing his grip and falling down landing on his back again in pain.

"You okay Nathan?" (Aaron).

A raspy voice replied from below "Y-yea-h..."

Aaron couldn't help but chuckle at Nathans predicament as he slid down the rope. Once on the ground he pressed the second trigger detaching the hook and rolling in the line. Aaron knelt down and helped Nathan up to his feet.

"Come on let's keep moving."

"Right."

They met up with Dave and Mark in the middle of the room they had fallen in to check on equipment and that no one was badly hurt.

"This is an interesting room. Looks like it was made just recently and it seems to have multiple tunnels leading out." (Mark).

"Not to mention that weird fabric stuff." (Dave).

"Yeah just so you know, that's not exactly a good thing."

"Why?" (Mark).

"Means that we are nearing the Hive, and that there are Xenomorphs nearby."

"Wait sec, where's Susan? Wasn't she in front of you Mark?"(Nathan).

"No... I thought she was behind you."

"Shit! Did she not make it down the tunnel with us?" Dave asked.

"Guess not, it's not like the tunnel branched off or collapsed behind us right?" (Nathan).

"It might have..." everyone looked at Aaron with disbelief "Think about it, Mark went first followed by Dave then Nathan followed by myself. Susan must have gone right behind me because she was standing beside me before we went. She may have stumbled or slipped so she was behind us a few extra meters or so."

"Then those rumbles we felt... The tunnel must have collapsed and taken her a different route. Susan may be nearby than if that's the case." (Dave).

"How are we going to not only find her but get back up? We slid down a long ways and the tremors we felt stopped about three-fourths the way here." (Mark).

"We can't, she is on her own now. At any rate she can take care of herself for a few hours." (Nathan).

"Are you all forgetting about what it is we are dealing with here? I have no doubt that we are close to the Hive now so we will be making friends soon." Said Aaron as he began walking towards the tunnel he knew would lead to the Hive. "Even if we knew where she was the Xenomorphs would find her first regardless. All we can do is pray that they give her a swift death; instead of pasting her to wall and have her chest explode outward."

"So that's it then? We're just going to give up on her?" (Nathan).

"Do you know where she is? We would spend hours trying to find her whereas the Xenos will fine her within half an hour or less. Our best chance of finding her sadly is within the Hive; most likely near the egg chamber as well as the Queen's."

"Yeah... I suppose your right. I take it you know how to get there don't you?" (Nathan).

"I have a basic idea of where it is. I imagine that this Hives layout will be similar to the last one I was in. If nothing else it will be near the Queens chamber, which will be located near the center."

"And if you are wrong? We really don't have the luxury of being able to just walk in." (Mark).

"Have some faith in me; after all I am the one with the most experience with these things who's probably still alive to tell about it. But if you want to go ahead and take the lead...." Aaron pointed ahead of him to the passage way he was in front of.

"No no, that's fine you take the lead I'll watch your back." (Mark).

"Alright lead the way Aaron. We will leave the negotiations to you than for Susan." (Dave).

"Yep." Nathan agreed.

"Ahuh right but Nathan... if we come across a female drone or better yet a warrior. Please for the love of god don't try anything stupid because you will regret it."

"Are you talking from experience Aaron?" (Nathan).

"No, just reminding you of yours..." Aaron started making his way down the passage switching on his Pulse Censor. _Well. It's back into the confines of hell we go. But this time, I'm ready for whatever may happen... I'll be dammed if I lose my men this time without taking the lot of them with me. _

"What you mean 'my experience'? I have never had trouble smooth talking any female. I have yet to find one that can't resist me." (Nathan).

Although... there are a few I wouldn't mind not having to listen to for a little bit. "Then prepare to be rejected in a very painful way."

"I accept your challenge. The loser gets to buy the entire Team the first round."

"Alright, deal. But I will not be held responsible if your balls happen to be sliced off by an angry Xeno."

"Pfff your funny."

Location: The Hive, Time: 12:10 a.m.

The Queen was wandering the outer halls of the Hive simply observing her children all at work and inspecting the Hive's condition. It didn't appear that too much damage was received to the outer layers of the Hive from the blast; what few areas that did were being repaired. All the Xeno's she passed or were in front of her stopped and gave a slight bow or growl of acknowledgement before continuing their work. It would seem that the explosion was further away than I thought. With strong gust of wind and that deep rumble I was sure that the humans had blown up part of the Hive. But my scouts have reported nothing is around the Hive, there is no way that humans could have planted a bomb and gotten away without being detected.

"My Queen, may I speak with you."

Turning her head she saw her 2nd in command approaching her. "Rocxis, what is it you want to discuss."

Rocxis took his place by the Queens side as they continued walking down the corridor. "Yes, it's about the explosion..."

"What about it?"

"We found someone, a human female, just outside of the Hive."

"Come now Rocxis, don't tell me you think one lone human manage to set off that explosion."

"No my Queen it's not that... Given how close we found her here I believe that there are more nearby."

Something close to a 'laugh' came from the Queen , "Should I be scared by that? In fact I find this rather amusing."

Rocxis looked at the Queen with confusion, "My Queen?...".

"The human you found was no doubt part of a group. They will be looking for her now and if they are smart they will know that we already have her. Therefore, they will either accept her loss or try to rescue her."

"So, should I send a group out to deal with them? Or simply wait for them to come to us."

"Send out some of our 'Runners' to deal with them. We do not yet know how many of them there are so I rather keep the element of surprise on our side. Also, bring one of them back alive. I will leave the choice of which one to your discretion as well as the fate of the others." The Queen stopped and turned around to face Rocxis with a smile. "I want my food to be fresh by my own means."

"Of course, what of the female we found?"

"Do what you like with her; it might actually be wise to use her as bait if you want to make things easier on yourself."

"But my Queen, where would be the fun in that?" Rocxis said with a smile.
