Draco sat in the living room with Lily watching the news. A vixen appeared on the screen and stood in front of the house with a lot of other news stations behind her apparently trying to get the same thing. "This is the home of an otter who was affiliated with the capture of a large group of escaped criminals who had stumbled across a campground and had the intentions to rape all the girls there. The group that had foiled their plans for some reason did not want to get involved with the press and have gone into hiding. Upon coming here a dragon believed to be one of the few who captured them flew off with the otter." Then they showed a clip of a red dragon holding a gray furred otter in his hands flying out of the top story window out of sight.

_'That dragon looks familiar...'_Draco thought.

"It's a whole lot better for someone else to be on the news for once right Draco?" Lily asked interrupting his train of thought. Draco smiled,

"It's a whole lot better than when John tried to kill me. I wonder whatever happened to him anyway." He replied

"Don't remind me that was horrible. You have no idea how worried I was."

"Don't worry, I'm ready for almost anything," he looked at his watch. "Oh look at the time our classes start soon. C'mon let's get to the campus before we're late." He told her getting up to grab his keys. He turned everything off before leaving. When they reached the campus they kissed each other goodbye and went their separate ways. As he went to his classes he looked up at the sky and saw storm clouds gathering. 'Gonna be a big one soon.' He thought. The classes were relatively boring and Draco wrote down everything he needed to and his mind would sometimes wander to the red dragon. 'I know he reminds me of someone I just can't put my finger on it.' The classes went by quickly and he went outside to wait for Lily he saw that it was raining hard and he tried his best to use his wings to cover himself. Waiting at his car Lily soon came out trying the same thing as him. It started to get dark and they tried their best to get in his car without getting wet.

"Hurry up Draco I'm getting soaking wet out here!"

"Don't worry, you have scales, the water will just slide right off your body."

"But that won't stop me from getting a cold now will it?" Lily countered. "Now hurry up and put the keys in!" Draco did as she said laughing and opened the door. When he walked in he saw that it was pitch black. He heard the familiar sound of a sword slicing through the air and by instinct ducked. He heard it whistle past him and he grabbed one of his swords from his nearby coffee table and countered. "Draco!" he heard Lily yell.

"Go turn on the light!" he told her. She started to run towards where she knew the light switch was at and started feeling for it on the wall. Draco fought back as well as he could, seeing that whoever he was fighting was trained. The clang of the swords kept him energized and awake but in the dark his skills were limited and as soon as Lily turned on the light his assailant knocked his sword out of his hand and held his own at his throat.

"I was expecting more of you," he heard him say 'That voice!' he thought as his eyes adjusted to the light. He saw a red dragon with yellow under scales and he had a friendly glint in his purple eyes.

"Leigh?"

"In the flesh and scales LD. Who else would be able to disarm you." He replied lowering his sword with a grin showing all of his razor sharp teeth. He hugged him laughing "It's been so long LD! Too long actually. You've grown so much since I last saw you!"

"Uh, what's going on here? I just saw my boyfriend attacked by some guy who appears to be his brother and now their hugging it out. Someone explain this to me please." She said confused

"I think I can explain that much at least." Oliver spoke up making Lily jump "Sorry about that, my name's Oliver, I'm Leigh's boyfriend. We're one of those people trying to get away from the press right now and Leigh had this idea to come here."

"I thought you had looked familiar on TV, just couldn't put my finger on it!" Draco exclaimed finally recognizing him. "Besides, only you would do something crazy like that then avoid the public eye." They had a good laugh and Leigh turned to Lily

"Sorry about trying to kill your boyfriend. As you know my name's Leigh. What's yours?" he asked

"Lily." She answered "My name is Lily." Leigh put out his hand and Lily gladly took it and was pulled into a hug. When he finally let go she asked him, "What does LD mean?"

"Little Drakkie. Just something I made up for him a few years back." He told her with a grin on his face seeing his brother smile sheepishly from his peripheral vision. He turned back to him. "So LD, can we stay?" Draco smiled

"Anything for my big brother!" he answered happily. "You can take your old room back. I've kept it under lock and key since I got the house. C'mon." he said going to the stairs. Draco led him to the room that he had kept locked for so long and opened the door. He walked in and turned on the light. He was followed by Leigh who whistled when he entered the room.

"Looks exactly how I left It." he rubbed his finger on a nearby mirror and looked at it. "Well after a good cleaning it would. There's a thick layer of dust everywhere."

"Well we can worry about that later. C'mon I wanna show you something." He led him outside to the tool shed where he stored his weapons and opened the door.

"What have you been preparing for, the apocalypse? You got a whole arsenal up in here!"

"Well, ever since you left I've been practicing more and more, experimenting with different weapons." Leigh went to the back and picked up two unsharpened dai-katanas, a two handed form of katana and threw one to Draco.

"Let's see how good you've actually gotten over the years." The two went outside and got into their fighting stances. With a battle cry Draco jumped at his brother who calmly blocked and jumped back. "C'mon I know you've got better than that." He retaliated making him jump back and attacked faster than Draco remembered he could when he last saw him. When he finally got out of the way he began to swing at him fast enough so he couldn't fight back.

Oliver and Lily watched from inside talking watching them fight. When Oliver saw Leigh losing his advantage he opened the door.

"Sorry but I gotta help out Leigh." He walked out and went to Draco's shed. He found the weapons Leigh taught him with and made sure they were unsharpened and started to sneak up behind the black dragon. At one point he had Leigh pinned against the fence and when he saw him he smiled.

"Looks like you've gotten better LD but you forgot one thing." He told him with a chuckle

"What would that be?" he asked

"The otter,"

"What?" just as he looked behind him Oliver jumped at him with two katanas laughing. "No fair you got your boyfriend to help you!" he yelled blocking the otter's attack "Lily help!" he begged blocking from two sides.

"Are you crazy? I'm not going out there it looks dangerous. I'm going to go do some studying. I have a test coming up soon. Have fun with what you're doing though, bye!" she yelled back laughing. Draco just laughed as he tried to defend himself from two fronts. It wasn't long before he felt his weapon knocked out his hands and three swords pointing at him.

"We win." Oliver said putting the swords back with Leigh laughing.

"That's a very nice boyfriend you have there. Where'd he learn to fight that?" Draco asked.

"I taught him, how else?"

"So you're going around teaching otters how to kill me?"

"Yeah pretty much why?"

"Just letting me know that now I have to teach someone how to kill you. But now that he's gone I can do this!" he yelled out jumping up into the air for a roundhouse kick at his brother. Leigh quickly ducked and cut Draco with a concealed knife he grabbed from the shed.

"Ouch! That hurt you know." then he started to feel woozy "Oh my God what did you do to me?" he asked seeing the world spin around him.

"I just put a little something in there to show you." He told him before he fell to the ground unconscious. Olive walked up beside Leigh.

"You poisoned him didn't you." He began

"Yes, couldn't help it. He was just so vulnerable and unsuspecting!" he answered back laughing.

"C'mon you're helping me move him inside."

"Yeah I know." he said picking him up. They dragged him to his room where Lily looked at him with wide eyes.

"What did you do to him?!"

"Don't worry he'll wake up in an hour." The dragoness calmed down when she heard that. "But right now I'm going to clean up my room while he's out." He told her walking out. He spent the rest of the next hour making his room as clean as it was when he left and when his brother finally woke up and found him finishing up in his room and walked up behind him.

"What. The hell. Did you do to me?" he asked

"Just a brew that a friend of mine created. It's useful in a whole lot of situations actually. Have a nice nap?"

"You have to teach me how to make that. I would love to have something like that!"

"Maybe later when you've forgotten about me poisoning you with it, therefore I won't have to deal with you randomly attacking me occasionally. But on a different matter do you have the package I sent a long time ago?"

"You mean the one you told me not to open? Sure I've kept it in the basement since I got it. C'mon I'll show you." Draco led the way to the basement where he pulled out a large box. He opened it and pulled out four small rods with two green vials that seemed to be connected to it. "What is this?"

"See that slot at the end of it? Point it away from yourself and push the button on the side. Draco did as he said and started to hear mechanical clanking coming from inside. Thin steel plating came out of the rod and began to push into place they were topped by even more and pushed into place also and the process kept repeating itself until Draco had a fully functional katana in his hands.

"Now this is some sci-fi stuff right here. This had to cost a lot of money."

"Not as much as you think it would. Just had to convince the engineers and technicians at the college to make them for me, but I had to win a kendo competition and give them the prize money for a project they wanted to do. That was a lot of work but it was worth it."

"What's this strange green stuff on the sides of it?"

"It's the poison I got you with. Every time the blade leaves the rod it gets a fresh coat of it. It's looking a little darker than it usually is though. We need to find something or somebody to test it on. Oh yeah and always remember. All you have to do is cut them no need to try and maim." At that exact moment Oliver came down.

"Hey I heard you guys down here, what's going on?" he asked. Draco and Leigh looked at each other. Leigh pushed the button on the side of his mechanical sword and watched it come out.

"Hey Oliver why don't you just stand there for awhile we test something on you?" Draco said

"Um, I'd rather not." He replied walking back slowly only to see the armed dragons walk slowly towards him. He spotted the green vials on the sides of their swords and automatically knew what they were trying to do. He quickly turned tail and ran up the stairs and closed the door behind him to try and slow then down. He could hear the two coming up after him and ran up to the second story and quickly ran into the first room he saw and shut and locked the door behind him. He sighed and looked up to see a shocked Lily in front of him. "Our boyfriends are trying to kill me." He said calmly. At that point there was a knock on the door.

"Hey Lily, can I come in? I have candy and umm, flowers to give you." Oliver shook his head no.

"Uh, no thanks I have a lot of work to and I can't get distracted!"

"Well I can help you with it then." Oliver heard Leigh's chuckling behind the door

"No thanks." She told him. They heard footsteps leaving the doorway and Oliver sighed

"Thanks for that, they found some of Leigh's poison that makes people fall asleep. They were trying to test it out on me."

"You're welcome. Now do you want to help me with this? It isn't very easy you know."

"Sure anything for you." Oliver told her. He worked with her for half an hour before she decided they were done and afterwards they sat down and got to know each other better. It wasn't much later when she told him:

"You know that I can't let you stay here all day right? You're going to have to leave at some point."

"Well since you put it like that, I might as well leave now. But since there's a chance that there still waiting for me, I'm going to use your window. You don't mind do you?"

"Not at all," she replied. Oliver opened the window and proceeded to crawl out. When he jumped down he felt something grab him and knew that one of them had caught him. He started to panic and didn't stop until Leigh whispered to him.

"It's okay I'm not trying to get you anymore. I already got my brother." He told him chuckling. That's when the otter noticed the knocked out dragon near the shed. "I was just about to come up there and get you actually."

"Really?!" they heard Lily yell "You turn on your own brother like that?"

"Yes! Ollie was taking too long so I got him instead! Works great too!"

"You know what? I'm leaving, tell me when you guys are done trying to kill each other!" and with that she left. The two dragged Draco inside into the house and left him on his bed. Draco woke up awhile later and looked around 'Dammit! He got me again! He even betrayed me too.' Just then his cell vibrated. He took it out and saw that it was Lily calling him.

"Hello?" he said answering it

"Are you guys done trying to kill each other yet?"

"I don't know Leigh keeps starting these things ask him."

"Well then give Leigh the phone!" she told him. He started to chuckle to himself after putting his phone down and went to go look for his brother. He looked into his room and saw the two asleep with clothes strewn across the floor. He quickly left a little embarrassed about seeing that and picked his phone back up.

"I don't think you want to do that." He told her

"Why not?"

"Because I looked into his room and saw a gray furball on top of him, and they were both sleeping."

"Oh..." she said then he heard her start to laugh and after a few seconds she said, "I'm coming over there right now. We can go see a movie while the lovebirds rest." She hung up before he could say bye so he got the sword Leigh got him and put it in his back pocket before he went downstairs to wait for her. It wasn't much longer until she rolled up into the driveway with his car. He walked outside to see Dagon and Kara with her. He greeted them and turned to Lily.

"You stole my car."

"Yes I did and it drives like a dream. You have such a great car you know."

"Yes, but what's wrong with your car?"

"It's not yours," she answered with a sly smile.

"Where's my keys, I'm not letting you drive looking evil like that." She laughed and threw him the keys. He got into his car and backed off. Driving to the movies, Kara noticed the large scratch on his arm.

"Hey Draco, where'd that scratch come from?"

"Oh this," he started to laugh. "My brother's here. He's the dragon the press has been trying to find. He and i had a little spar and he won."

"Wow really, and you don't tell me Lily? What kind of friend are you? When do I get to meet him?"

"I guess you can meet him when we come back. He's with the otter to and from what he's told me all the others are in a farm, a forest, with their girlfriend and I think that's it."

"They sound like a fun group. You've never known what your brother has been doing all these years?" Dagon asked him.

"Nope." They continued their conversation until they got to the movie theatre. They got tickets to Horrible Bosses and after the movie left laughing. They got inside the car and when Draco turned the key in the ignition and the engine whirred for a few seconds before turning off again. Draco tried again and got the same result. "Lily, we forgot about gas." He said starting to laugh

"Well looks like were flying." Dagon said getting out of the car.

"Oh c'mon it's a beautiful night, we can walk. Plus I wasn't meant to fly, that always freaks me out when I'm in the air and not in a plane." Kara told him

"Ok we can walk."

"I'll call a tow truck in the morning, let's go." They walked through the city watching the night sky still happily talking until they came across a dark alleyway.

"Let's go this way, it ain't safe on this street at night." Dagon warned

"You want to go into a dark alleyway instead of a well lit street. Now that sounds unsafe. What can happen that our two big dragons can't handle?" Kara asked

"Ok ok we'll go through the street." He told her giving in. They continued to walk and before they knew it a large group of unkempt furs started to gather behind them. They noticed and Draco handed Dagon one of his knives.

"Just in case," he told him. The furs started to surround them and before they knew it they were enclosed in a circle of seventeen of the thugs.

"Well well what do we have here? Two happy couples eh? Looks like we're going to have to change that." A bat with a pipe said. The girls drifted between the two dragons scared.

"We don't want any trouble now." Dagon told them making some of them laugh.

"Well you've found it buddy." A cougar replied. They began to close in on them and Dagon drew the knife. Draco remembered the rod in his back pocket and pulled it out. He watched as the sword came out but saw that it didn't deter their assailants. 'There's too many of them,' he thought in horror. He heard something heavy hit the ground and saw that one of them had fallen to the ground unconscious.

"Hey Simon ge-" was all the bat said before falling to the ground himself. They heard a light chuckle before the cougar yelled and was thrown across the street by a winged guardian. It was too dark to see so they didn't know who it was.

"Great now there's a batman involved." Dagon joked blatantly starting to lower his weapons

"Leigh?" Draco asked. An eagle with a bow and a quiver of arrows on his back landed.

"Like hell I am!" he said before going off after another one. When a wolf tried to sneak up on him Kara yelled, "Look out!" before a bolt hit the wolf and went through his shoulder. He yelled curses for awhile before falling to the ground. With a look around they noticed a cream colored rabbit with a crossbow laughing while reloading. The rest of the thugs started to run off leaving them alone with the two protectors. Before they could thank him the rabbit was grabbed by the eagle and they flew off laughing.

"Well... that was kind of lucky, yet awkward for me." Dagon said breaking the silence left after the two went away.

"Uh, Kara you have a problem with flying now?" Lily asked. She nodded no still pretty shocked about what just happened. "Good 'cause I'm not staying here any longer." She told her before jumping into the air and flying off. Kara jumped on Dagon's back and they flew off and were joined by Draco. When they got to "Draco's house they were surprised to hear unfamiliar laughter inside.

Leigh had just gotten up when he heard the doorbell ring. When he opened the door he was shocked to see his friend Veolis there and Jeremiah behind him.

"V? What are you and Jeremiah doing here?" he asked.

"Well you told me where you were going to be and I looked up your brother on the internet and with me being a computer pro I was able to find out where he lived. Sooo we decided to pay you guys a visit." Veolis answered

"Sure come in," he said moving out of the way. They came in, sat down and rubbed his wings.

"Thirty minutes of flight can make your wings really sore. Especially carrying that lump of fur around the whole time." Veolis said

"Well I'm sorry for not having wings." Jeremiah said sarcastically. Oliver came down and looked at the two surprised. He smiled, went down and hugged Jeremiah.

"How are you doing friend? It's good to see you again!" he exclaimed

"Just fine, and I bought pie my grandma made for you." He said taking it out his bag

"There was pie and you don't tell me? What kind of person are you?" interrupted Veolis "I've been hungry the whole trip and you hide pie from me?"

"It wasn't for you that's why, get your own." He told him making him laugh. The door opened swiftly and Veolis quickly reacted to it with his bow drawn and an arrow notched in the middle.

"Veolis stop!" Leigh yelled "It's just my brother and his girlfriend." He said seeing the two and two others standing on the doorway shocked to see a weapon aimed at them.

"And the other two?" he said not releasing his hold on the bowstring.

"Friends," Draco said calmly. Veolis lowered his weapon and relaxed.

"Sorry about that," he apologized "Usually when a door opens that fast it means some crazy shit is about to go down."

"Same here, we thought somebody was robbing the house." Draco told him

"Wait," Kara said "Aren't you the bird that fought off those thugs just awhile ago?" the eagle looked them over for awhile then started to laugh.

"Yes I am. Name's Veolis, I'm one of Leigh's pals."

"You never let us thank you. My name is Kara by the way." The cougar said stepping up.

"I didn't need to be but you're welcome. Lucky I came along huh?"

"You guys are heroes you know that?" Dagon told them

"One of the reasons we ran away my friend. We're not trying to become minor celebrities that get chastised every time we do some little thing wrong. We just wanna live our lives you know? And remember, you never saw me after today." Veolis told them.

"That doesn't always happen you know, and plus, the longer you run the more they're gonna be looking for you. Then it's going to be that much bigger when it happens." Kara told him

"Yeah we know that much, but some people will still try to find some kind a fault to us so they can prove that people like us have fatal flaws so they can feel better about themselves. Or so they can try and use it against us for something they want. Either way we just want to be safe from that kind of thing." He replied

"That's good and all but I want to know one thing. How the hell did you guys make them go down so easily?" Dagon asked. Veolis exchanged glances with Jeremiah and the two pulled out bamboo rods, put them to their mouths and blew darts at Dagon and Draco.

"Goddamit not again!" Draco said pulling the dart out of his neck.

"What? What'd they do?" he said pulling the dart out of his neck. After saying that however he fell to the ground unconscious.

"You bastards..." Draco managed to say before going down. The four males left awake started to laugh uncontrollably.

"What did you do to them?!" Kara asked shocked

"Leigh, why must you and your friends keep doing that?"

"Don't worry about them. C'mon guys help me drag Dagon to the car I'll drive you two home. You know where he lives right Kara." Leigh said

"Uh, yeah but can you please explain to me what happened to him?"

"He was just poisoned. He'll be up in an hour and you might want to stay with him to explain to him what happened." Leigh and Veolis picked him up and put him in Draco's car. They drove off while Jeremiah and Oliver put Draco in his room and went back downstairs. Lily looked at them.

"Why must you all do that repeatedly to him?" she asked

"They give us too many chances, and you have to agree that it's pretty funny to watch them go out like that." Oliver answered. Lily smiled.

"You're right it is pretty funny but don't you think you're going a bit overboard on this?"

"Nope, not at all." He told her

"Ok I'm gonna leave you all to what you're doing. As long as you don't try and get me I'm good." She said leaving.

"So Ollie, have you and Leigh thought about what you guys were going to do while you're here?"

"No, why?"

"Well I thought you guys might want to come and have fun with me. We could go to the beach, an amusement park, an arcade, maybe we could show off our expertise at a tournament of some kind. I've heard they have swordsmanship contests somewhere around here." Oliver thought about this for awhile.

"Sure I'd love something like that. I'm guessing so would Leigh." He replied

"Great cause I'll be staying for awhile. I've already signed up for an archery competition. They're also hosting a kendo competition. Didn't know what it was until I saw what they were. Just wooden sticks in the shape of swords. You'd do great on that! Well except until you get to facing Leigh and he kicks your ass." Oliver laughed

"Thanks for the support. I'll be sure when you go to your tournament I'll show you the same."

"Aww you're so nice." Jeremiah said before Leigh walked in with Veolis, laughing.

"Hey Leigh Jeremiah says that there are some kendo competitions going on around here. I've decided I want to compete, you in?" Oliver asked.

"That sounds like fun! I'd love to Jeremiah, where are they being held?"

"Downtown," he answered "there are also some archery tournaments, V, if you want."

"That depends, can your granny make more pie?" he asked

"Uh, yeah."

"Then I'm gone!" he said running out "I'll be back in about three weeks to pick you up Jay!" and he flew off singing to himself about pie.

"Sometimes," Leigh started "I worry about that guy..." he said making the other two laugh. "Jeremiah, when are the tournaments?"

"Uh, in about a two weeks from now."

"Why don't we go to the camping ground and have some training? We have all our gear there and it's a whole lot quieter."

"Sure, it's got all the targets and stuff there." Jeremiah said.

"Ok just let me leave a note for LD then we can go." Leigh went upstairs to and went into his room. He grabbed a map out of a drawer with the spot of his campground already circled on it.

LD, Jeremiah has found a kendo competition downtown. Here is where we are going to be training and if you want to, come here tomorrow or after. You don't have to bring anything, we already have everything you'll need there.

He went up to his brother's room and knocked on the door.

"Lily? You dressed in there?" he asked

"Yeah just a minute." Lily opened the door in a red nightdress.

"When my brother wakes up I need you to give him this." He told her giving her the papers. "And Lily," he said turning away "looking good." Lily just laughed.

"Don't try it Leigh," she said before closing the door. Lily walked to the bed after hearing Leigh walk away and lay down next to the sleeping Draco. She turned on the TV to pass the time waiting for him to wake up. He got up thirty minutes later and cursed to himself after looking around. "He's gone now, he left a note for you. I put it on the dresser for you." Lily said without looking away from the TV.

"Thanks for being so concerned about my health," he joked getting up. Lily smiled,

"You're welcome," she replied. He opened the letter and read it. "What's it for?" he heard Lily ask.

"Leigh's entering in some kind of competition. This must be how he lives 'cause as far as I know he doesn't have a job and these things usually hand out a lot of money to the winners. He wants me to come enter with him."

"So are you going?"

"Guess so, it'd be great to go up against other people as good as me."

"Well, if you get hurt I'm not taking care of you."

"Is that supposed to be supportive?" he said walking towards her.

"You want support?" She asked getting up.

"It'd be great to know you want me to win and kick my brother's ass." He said turning around about to leave. Walking up behind him quietly, she wrapped her hands around his chest.

"I'll show you support," she whispered into his ear seductively.

"Lily, what are you doing?" he asked a little confused.

"Giving you what you want," She told him moving her hands into his pants. "Now shut up and enjoy it." she commanded. He gladly complied as Lily turned him around, pushed him against a wall and kissed him. She undid his pants and let them fall to the floor with his boxers. "Yes?" he came out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth already dressed and ready to go. She had gotten up, walked to him, and kissed him on the cheek before walking out still naked not thinking much of it since she was going to be alone in a few minutes.

"Make sure you kick ass for me," she had said before leaving. Draco was smiling profusely after watching her leave like that. He went back to his morning rituals, and before leaving the house he had yelled back inside.

"Don't forget to call the towing company!" he had gotten an ok from Lily and left. He didn't know what would happen while he was gone but he thought nothing of it so he left without further delay.
