Without further ado let's begin.

Location: The Hive, Time: Unknown

........ Wha- where am I? What is this place.... I don't see anyone. Why is it so dark?.... I feel, so very tired. Susan mind slowly began to restart itself pulling her from the shrouds of darkness that wisped around her. Ever so slowly her senses returned but it did nothing to aid her discomfort. Susan weakly looked around at her surroundings but due to the darkness that proved futile. She tried moving next, but was unable to do so effectively. Susan was covered in some sort of fabric material that kept her in place on a pillar. Immediately she began to panic for she remembered Aaron mentioning that this was one of two possible ways they could die. But upon looking below her she didn't see an egg.... Susan peered around her as far as she could but didn't see anything at all. Did I awake early? Had they not brought her an egg yet?

It was quiet save for the slight howling sounds of a breeze blowing from somewhere nearby. At first that's all there was... However as she kept listing, she began to hear something else that rose her spirits.

Is that... gunfire? Susan wasn't sure at first but as she continued to listen it got louder and louder. Was it her Team, had they come to rescue her? Susan was almost close to crying out for joy but restrained herself. A light became visible ahead of her, it blinded her but she was able to see several humanistic figures behind the light.

"Susan! Is that you!?"

That voice, it was Aaron's... "Aaron!" Susan yelled with joy, I thought I was going to die alone here, but you all came!"

"Of course we did we couldn't just leave you behind."

Was that Nathan?

"Quick! We've got to get her down and get out of here. We are still being followed by those things."

Dave?

"I've got her..."

Mark...

"You are not going anywhere...." A cold voice spoke from the shadows.

"Shit! We got company!" Aaron yelled.

"Behind us!" (Mark).

"Eat This!" (Dave).

The room was filled with the sounds of gunfire along with bright flashes of light from the gun barrels. Sounds of screeching and yelling could be heard all around her. Susan shut her eyes praying that her Team would win and take her away from this foul place. The scream of a human forced her eyes open, only to make her breathing catch in her throat. Only one person remained standing among the blood/acid, body ridden floor.

"Aaron..." she whispered with fear.

Aaron stood upright and tall, with a look of determination on his face with absolutely no fear. His chest had multiple slashes across it as well as his back with one on his face. In his hand he held his side-arm by his side.

Why isn't he moving? Has he given up?

Clapping was heard followed with a laughing sound from the shadows. A Xenomorph, larger than the rest gathered in the room, approached with an eerie smile on his face. It stopped 20 meters in front of Aaron with its tail swishing to and fro in a manner much like that of a cat stocking its prey. It stood easily around 8 feet tall with sharp claws and teeth not to mention a 2 foot long blade at the end of its tail. Instead of the tube like structures on the back it instead hade spikes where the tubes should be. It was broader with muscle and had a few scares on its body showing that it was experienced at fighting.

Yet despite all this Aaron still didn't move or even acknowledge the large Xeno. His demeanor remained unfazed, his stance was almost relaxed. The only thing that showed any signs of possible thought or movement were his eyes. But even then they were calm, not darting around with fear or panic, but with precise movements with a thought out purpose.

After what felt like hours of silence did one of them speak. "What a shame I thought you would have kept fighting but it appears you have given up. Probably feels like the smart thing to do but then again you already know your life is at its last few minutes."

"No, I haven't given up yet. I was simply deciding on a decision to make.... One that would affect my life and another. "

Oh? Are thinking that by killing one of us you will feel appeased or more rather at rest? Either way you and your companion's existence will be no more."

"Yes, I know my fate is sealed but I can still change the course of another." Aaron slowly raised his gun and cocked the firing pen (for dramatic affect XD) and aimed it at the large Xeno. "My conscious is clear and I have no regrets."

With that last statement Aaron swung the gun around and fired his bullet. Time slowed down for Susan as she was forced to witness it. She saw the flash from the guns barrel... that was pointed at her.

No! She mentally screamed, her mouth sealed shut with fear. Susan literally watched the bullet Aaron had fired speed its way towards her chest. Its path was true and straight, aimed right for her heart allowing her a quick painless death. She didn't feel the bullet puncture her, even thou she watched it do so, but tore her gaze away back towards Aaron. He had a sad smile on his face as he looked at her.

No Aaron... Why? Why would you be so selfish! IT'S NOT FAIR!!! Susan's body had already stopped its subconscious functions by this point; only her mind remained active yet it was close to its end as well. Her vision was fading quickly, the corners of her vision was black and white save for the middle.

Aaron's chest exploded outwards with a spray of blood, his once calm face now portrayed extreme pain. Blood leaked from his mouth and from the semi filled hole in his chest. But his eyes, Susan thought... they still held that look, that everlasting look of peace they held.

Lifting his tail the large Xeno effortlessly moved Aaron into the air before slamming him back into the ground with a bone breaking crunching sound that seemed to echo strangely loud within the chamber. Retracting his tail blade from the now lifeless corpse, the Xeno looked back towards Susan with a smile on its face.

Susan saw the Xenomorphs mouth move but was unable to make out any of the words spoken from it. My time is up... Aaron, thank you. Thank you for giving me a painless death, I will see you soon.......

"AAHHH!!!" Susan screamed, awaking from the dream her mind and played for her while passed out. It... it was just a dream?... No! That was a fucking nightmare! Yet it was so real... Susan shudders as she recalled the nightmare and tried to control her breathing. She opened her eyes and her heart almost stopped completely. No... this... this was just like the dream...

She was once again bound to a pillar but unlike last time the room had some light within it lighting most of the floor but kept the ceiling dark. The room was huge... Susan guessed it to be the size of a football field at least. She quickly looked below her... this time she felt her heart skip multiple beats along with a cold chill wash over her spin.

An egg rested no more than 3 meters from her. As if by some cruel fate or timing the top began to open. Susan could see the pale skin of a face-hugger nestled within the egg as it started to stir.

Dear god no...

The face-hugger slowly crawled out of its warm home and rested on the 'pedal like' structures of the egg looking at Susan.

Anytime now, my fate will be sealed forever. Forced to nurture one of them inside of me in till it kills me with its 'actual' birth into this world. I never thought it would end like this...

With surprising speed the face-hugger launched itself into the air towards Susan. Its finger like legs spread wide, the tail swaying from behind it.

Susan gave a final scream that echoed loudly within the room, but that scream was cut off midway leaving the chamber quite again....

Echo Team, Location: The Hive, Time: 12:45 a.m.

"This way!" (Aaron).

Aaron had managed to lead the Team into the Hive without alerting any of the patrolling drones around it. They had managed to get quite a ways in but thanks to some one's big mouth and clumsiness (Dave) they were now running for their lives. They had a few brief encounters that ended with lots of bullets being fired and Xenomorphs screaming and dying but so far no one was too badly hurt.

"Is it just me or is there something chasing us and catching up really quick?" (Nathan).

"Uhh, you mean the hundreds of Xenomorphs that are all around us? Because yeah, I agree with you completely on that." (Dave).

"No there not chasing us or at least the 'humanistic' ones aren't. I believe we have 'runners' chasing us now so we have less than 10 minutes till they catch up."

"'Runners'? What are those?" (Mark).

"Think of them as Xenomorphic dogs, they look very similar to ones we have already seen but they run on four legs instead of the usual two. There the quickest 'known' breed so it's almost a honor that someone decided to send a group of them after us."

"An honor? What are like an elite group or something?" (Dave).

"When it comes to speed they are, I hate to say it but our best chance of beating them is to stick to twisting passages with possible doors we can close behind us. But then again that only worked with a group of like 15 people against 1 runner." (Aaron).

"Gee that's encouraging we got 4 people against who knows how many-".

"There are 9, wait... 12. Yeah there are 12 after us right now but that number could easily increase." Aaron said interrupting Dave.

"Any ways we are fucked regardless of how many are chasing us. We don't even know what direction where running! For all we know they could be herding us into a trap!" Dave yelled.

Looks like Dave's starting to crack first, I would have thought Nathan would have but I guess the bet I made with him is keeping him slightly motivated. "Yes we do. Wait let me correct myself, 'I' know where we are as well as what direction where going. For instance we are about to pass an Elevator shaft on the right."

Sure enough just as Aaron said they came across an intact elevator shaft.

"Alright! How the hell do you know all this!?" yelled Dave from the back of the group as they came to a stop in front of it.

"Well one I'm awesome, second I've been in a Hive before, three I have a general idea as to what are pursuers are thinking and trying to do thanks to my last encounter, and finally I studied the map layout that Tech. Team supplied for us before we left... our at least 'this' part of the map anyway."

"Cheater...." Nathan grumbled underneath his breath.

"So I take it we are going to head down? That's just fucking suicide aren't the 'warriors' located near the center of the Hive?" asked Mark.

"Yes, but luckily they will count on us to stay to the outer layers of the Hive because of that. However, since were this far they might suspect us to try something tricky like that so they sent the 'dogs', so to speak, to flush us out quickly. Believe it or not they're scared of us for some reason; they don't want us to get to the center of the Hive."

"Well yeah aren't they trying to protect the Queen? Isn't that what the warriors and drones do in a colony like there's?" (Nathan).

"No... Aarons right. Why wouldn't they just let us walk in till we have gone in too deep to get back out? That would make their job much easier, the Queen could easily move or hide if she felt at threat as well as have a good number of warriors protecting her." (Mark).

"So then what is it? What could possibly make them want to protect something else besides the Queen?" Dave finally spoke after calming down somewhat from the adrenalin rush.

"Sadly.... I haven't a clue. But if the rest of the Hive is trying so hard to keep us away than the Queen most likely has whatever it is either in or close to her chamber." (Aaron).

"...Were not going there... are we?" (Nathan).

"I'm rather curious about the whole thing. But Mark is right, it would be suicide to try and get to the Queen's chamber without getting caught. Unless we take a slightly more dangerous rout they wouldn't see coming." (Aaron).

"Like?" (Nathan).

"Cutting through the egg chamber..."

"FUCK THAT!" Dave screamed, "No Fucking Way! At least one of us would get snatched by a hugger and once that happens there is nothing the rest of us can do. No, we need to turn back this mission is pointless Susan is as good as dead by now."

"What, are you going to make a run for it on your own? Go ahead Dave; you won't get out of here alive without me." (Aaron).

Dave was shacking again but kept Aaron's glare. "I'm sorry.... But this is completely suicide I'm leaving; I'll try to come back with backup." Dave said before turning around and sprinting down the hall and out of sight.

*Sigh* So long Dave I know you won't get out but I still hope you make it."Alright.... Anyone else want to leave?"

Nathan nodded his head, "Yeah, but I'll wait till we're done with whatever it is where going to do."

"Aye, I'm with ya Aaron." Mark put one hand on Aarons shoulder and the other on Nathans. "If it's my time to die I want to do it with my Team beside me."

"Amen to that." (Nathan).

"Thanks guys, I'm sorry all this had to happen but we have a chance to make it right. We have come too far to simply run away now, it's literally now or never."

"Then we better get going." said Mark.

"I'll go first..." (Aaron).

With that Aaron climbed into the elevator shaft followed closely by Mark and Nathan. They started to slowly slide down the shaft trying to be as quite as possible. The further and further they went; the darker it got along with the increase of 'fabric like' material that made the Hive on the walls. Every now and then they would stop due to the sounds of hissing/screeching and clicking nearby. After what felt like hours of this they reached the bottom of the shaft, amazingly some sort of light source still lit the halls and tunnels enough for them all to see.

"So any bets on how far we get before we're caught? I say we don't make it to the egg chamber." (Nathan).

"You're such a downer, I say we make it past the egg chamber but die before we reach the Queen." (Mark).

"Gah, thanks you two that's very motivating for me. 'I' say we make to the Queen's chamber." (Aaron).

"Okay so Aarons already out, just me and you left Mark." (Nathan).

"Laugh it up, you'll start screaming and crying like a girl soon."

"Not a chance I still got to win that last bet with you, no girl likes it when there man cries like a pussy..... Can Xenomorphs even cry?"

"Never stopped to ask one, if they do than there tears are probably acid or can heal radiation." Aaron sarcastically said.

"Better get a jar than."

"Good look with that!" Mark laughed.

Location: The Hive, Time: 12:50 a.m.

Dave was still running down random halls and corridors not having a clue what direction to take. Everything around him seemed to be against him; sometimes he swore he heard 'laughing' from within the shadows. Unbeknownst to him, he was being watched.

Splitting up with the group is starting to seem like a really bad idea. I should have stuck with them my chances of survival would have been higher than they are now.

"No, your chances of surviving anything went down as soon as you and all your friends stepped off your ship."

"What the!?" The sudden intrusion of the voice in his head made him lose focus and slip, crashing into a wall. "Dammit that hurt, what was that just know? Am I going mental now?"

_"Must be, after all you are talking to thin air right now...."_laughed the voice in Dave's head.

"But you're still answering back...."

"You have no proof of that plus I could just be a fragment of your imagination that's resurfaced due to your traumatized state."

"That's great." Dave continued to run down another corridor but the voice in his head returned.

"I wouldn't go that way... There are at least 10 Xeno's up ahead coming this way."

"How the fuck do you know that? You're not even real, just my mind playing tricks on me."

"That hurts... I am very much real. As for how I know.... that's just part of my job description."

"What ever."

"Fine don't believe me let's see how well you do on your own."

Dave rounded the corner only to come to a screeching halt. In front of him where 10 Xenomorphs looking back at him silently glaring at him. Dave could swear his heart was about to explode on him. "Umm.... What's up?" Dave nervously chuckled.

"Wow... that was awful."

Shut up! Just shut the fuck up!

"Tsk tsk I'd watch my mouth_if I were you, that is if you want to live a little bit longer."_

"So now that we found you are you going to come peacefully or do we have to 'force' to come with us?" spoke one of the Xenomorphs.

"Wha? No kill on sight type of deal?" asked Dave.

"The Queen instructed us to bring you to her... that is a great honor so I suggest you accept the invitation."

"That's great and all but I'm not that interesting at all I fail to why she wants to see me." (Dave).

"She said if you should refuse than to kill you here and now..." As the Xenomorph said that he took a few steps closer to Dave swishing his tail back forth in anticipation.

Fffuuucckkk. "By all means lead the way." Dave nervously chuckled.

"Wise choice but first," the Xeno pointed to Dave's gun "you must surrender your weapons."

"Fair enough I guess..." Dave set his gun(s) down and slid them towards the Xeno in front of him. One of the other Xeno's picked them up and ran off down the hall with them. That's new Dave thought.

"Follow me." The Xeno turned around and began walking down corridor. Dave hesitantly followed behind with 2 Xenomorphs behind him. The other 6 Xeno's sprinted down the hall Dave had just come from.

Must be going after the rest of my friends...

"Indeed they are, it's interesting.... I can sense you and 2 others humans nearby... but I know there is a third with you yet I can't detect him at all."

.......... Aw shit....._Dave finally realized where the voice was coming from and who it belonged to both of which weren't very comforting to know. _So ah, how long did know?

"I had a hunch when that explosion went off but I knew for sure once the 4 of you entered my Hive."

God damn, she's got quite a range.

"I'll take that as a complement."
