Part 5 - Unexpected Visit, Unexpected Findings.
Dani: Enough with the dreams already!
BLDR: Okay okay, I'll stop with the flash backs.
It had been two years since the girls first arrived at the compound. It was still a mystery just how their bodies did what they did, but neither complained and they both did what they could to help others. Though they found out that there were some downsides to their form, the biggest being when they went into heat, but Gail didn't mind when they borrowed Chris to help sate their urges. It wasn't long after the Gail and Chris found out that Gail's body could do the same thing as the girls that they moved into the vacant bed room at the girls' cottage.
Dani and Launi had just finished a round of tests with Doctor Kagan. Gail and Even after the two years of testing, little progress was made. But it was apparent that both girls could do the same things. As well as a few new tricks they were still learning to control. Dani had curled up against Launi on their couch when Claus came over and nuzzled Dani's stomach and started to whine.
"What is it Claus? Hungry?" Dani asked as she looked at him. Claus just kept nuzzling Dani's stomach. Dani chuckled. "Do you want me to eat you again?"
"Hey, you promised me you'd eat me next!" Launi said half whining.
Dani laughed. "So I did. Alright, Claus, you'll have to wait your turn." Claus whined before turning to go through the doggy door that was installed for him. He stopped and started to bark at the door. "What is it Claus?" Dani said before the door bell rung. Dani got up and went to open the door only to fall back when she saw who it was.
"Hello. Danica I presume. At least by judging your reaction." A male voice said from outside when the door was opened.
"Dani, who is it?" Launi said walking up behind Dani only to have a similar reaction. "Ah, there is my daughter."
A woman ran through the door and hugged Launi. "Mom? Dad?" Launi said not believing it at first.
"We needed to tell you something." Launi's father said as if he was swearing.
Launi looked at her mother. "What happened."
"It's no longer safe for those who have been changed. There are those out there who are kidnapping people like you two and selling them off as slaves, or worse." Mrs. Head said as she sat down on the couch clearly depressed. Claus set his head on her lap. "Your brother changed about a month ago. He was scared to go outside. And when he finally did, some men shot him in the back and dragged him behind a truck."
Launi hugged her mom. "Oh god... Is he okay?"
Kristy Head shook her head and hugged Launi. "He might not be able to walk again."
Launi looked at her. "Where is he?
"He is in the main building here. The government is helping us. When we found out you were here. We figured we should apologize to you for what we did two years ago."
"We were wrong to do what we did. And when we tried to contact you, the government refused to tell us where you were. At least until we arrived here with John. When we got here, we heard someone mention your name and I asked where you were. They told me after they checked who I was." Stephen Head said to Launi.
Launi nodded her head. "Can I go see him?"
Stephen shook his head. "Right now they aren't allowing anyone to see him because of his condition. I wish they'd let us see him."
The phone rang and Dani went to answer it. "Yeah, yeah, okay. We'll be right up."
"Who was it?" Launi asked Dani when she hung up the phone."
"Doctor Kagan, he says he wants to run a test to see if we can help one John Head. Figured you'd like to see your brother."
Launi smiled and quickly got up to hug Dani. "Let's get going."
Dani and Launi got out and then went for their golf cart and turned it on, the little gas engine puttering smoothly. "Hop in!" Dani said as she got into the drivers seat. Stephen and Kristy looked at each other and then got onto the back of the golf cart just in time for Dani to manage a peal out before she sped to the main building. Launi ran ahead and into the area that was set up as a make shift hospital. Launi was greeted by a wolf hooked up to several machines breathing for him as he laid in a bed with his arms and legs in casts. "Oh my..." Launi noticed that her brother was missing fur on most of his body, as well as several places on his head, and one of his ears were missing.
"He took a beating, it's a surprise he's still alive after all he went through." Doctor Kagan said as he walked up behind Launi, he had decided to experience the process, himself after a year of no progress, to see if he could figure it out from the inside, he came out with a pair of silver fox ears and a bushy silver tail, he didn't bother to get rid of them as some of the patients found it more relaxing to be with someone who was changed as well.
"What happened?" Dani asked.
"He was dragged behind a truck after being beaten. But the funny thing is his tail and ear was missing for a while before he was dragged."
Launi nodded. "Why did you want to see us."
"I was wondering what your body could do for him." Doctor Kagan said bluntly.
"My body? You mean you want me to try and change him?" Launi said a little confused.
"Yes. Normally we'd ask his permission, but seeing as to him being a minor still. As well as the fact that if we don't do something, his chances of surviving are next to nothing."
"Well, let me think about it first." Launi said as she looked at Dani who gave her a nod.
Both her parents arrived. After hearing what the girls were doing they had both agreed that if it could save their son. It would be worth it. "We are okay with it. We heard how you do it. And while it isn't what we'd like to see happen, if it will save him, we'd like you to help."
Launi looked at them. "After you disowned me, now your willing to accept me as your daughter because I can save my brother?"
"Launi, it isn't..."
"Shut up. I am going to help him. Not because my parents want me to, but because he is my brother." Launi said before looking at Doctor Kagan. "Get him ready. I'll be in Room 5. And those two aren't going to be there." She said pointing to her parents before she and Dani walked off to go to the room Launi said.
"You can't do that." Her father said to her.
"She just did." Doctor Kagan said. "Now if you don't mind, we need to go prepare your son."
"I won't let you do this without us there." Stephen said to Doctor Kagan.
"Remember that contract you signed? Part of it stated that as long as he was under our care, we could do what was deemed necessary to help him. And this is necessary. Now go back to your room." He had his hand on his belt, his thumb resting on a button on his pager.
Stephen looked at Doctor Kagan and then went to swing at Doctor Kagan, but the silver haired fox morph was too quick and dodged before hitting the button on his pager. "Security to the ICU, we have a code 5." Stephen looked at Doctor Kagan and went to punch again, only to be dodged before a man holding a tazer showed up.
"Stop!" He ordered, but Stephen turned his aggression towards the security guard and was rewarded with a 10,000 volt low amperage jolt of electricity through two darts. Stephen dropped to the floor and spasmed for a second before the guard handcuffed him.
"Sorry about that. But your going to have to go with your husband. Your son is in the best hands we have." Doctor Kagan said to Kristy.
Kristy shook her head. "I want to be with my son."
"Sorry, but what those two say goes around here when it comes to what they will and won't do. If you want your son healed, you're going to have to abide by her wishes." Doctor Kagan said to Kristy who took it better then her now disabled husband.
"Alright, but we get to see him as soon as he is better. Right?"
"Of course." Doctor Kagan said as he went to go and help the nurses and other doctors prep John.
Kristy and Stephen were led back to their room where a pair of guards stayed at the door just incase either tried to go and leave to disrupt Launi.
"Alright Launi, we know you can do this, so we are going to need you to eat your brother." Doctor Kagan said as he entered Room 5.
"Eat him?" Launi asked not believing what they were asking her to do.
"Yes. If my theory is right, your body digests the person's or animal's old body and uses the nutrients and energy you get from that to make a new body for them." Doctor Kagan said as he looked at Dani and Launi. "And if that is what happens, then you two might be needed to spread your ability further then we thought we'd have to. There are a lot of people out there that need help and if those like you two can help heal them, the world could be a better place."
Launi nodded. "Well I think we shouldn't go about trying to heal everyone. As much as I like eating people, I prefer to only eat Dani here." She said smiling before patting Dani on the head.
"Yeah, we prefer the taste of each other." Dani said as she started to laugh.
"Though Claus doesn't taste that bad either." Launi said laughing as well.
"Well, you two don't have to do it, but if this works, other changers like you two are going to be in higher demand then they are now. But enough talk, your brother should be on his way and hopefully this work."
John was brought in, Launi ditched her clothes, no one was bothered seeing as two how they have seen her naked more times then they could remember. John no longer had the casts on but was still hooked up to the machines that helped him breath.
"We are going to have you eat him feet first, that way we don't take him off the breather until he's just about done going in."
"Okay, lets get this over with." Launi said as she moved over to the six and a half foot tall wolf. "Never eaten anyone this big before." She said as she looked at him before gingerly putting his feet into her mouth. Her mouth stretched around his feet and she swallowed, dragging his feet down her throat, she swallowed again working his shins in, it took another 5 swallows to get up to her brother's hips. She worked up him like a snake, trying not to move him too much until she had no option but to move him. She got up to his shoulders and the doctors quickly disconnected him from the breather before she swallowed his head before letting loose a belch. Her gut was a large dome, she wasn't able to move so she just laid on the gurney they brought her brother in on.
The reason Launi chose room 5 was because of the fact that the girls had early on requested a room where they both could sleep together so one didn't have to sit while the other was in the middle of a test. And as such, a queen size bed was soon brought into one of the larger rooms. The bed itself was comfortable, but in exchange for being used as a medical bed, it had a rubber coating so it could be squeegeed off in case there was any fluids spilled onto the bed which happened quiet frequently due to the nature of the tests that were run in Room 5.
It was a week before they saw any results. "Where am I!" John said from inside Launi's womb.
"Its good to hear your voice John. I'll have you out in a second and then we'll explain everything." Launi said before quickly freeing John from the confines of her womb. When Doctor Kagan, Launi, and Dani looked at John they all were stunned.
"Wasn't some one going to explain where I am? And why the hell I was in some girls womb?" He said annoyed.
"Umm, John, I'm your sister. And take a look at yourself." Launi said pointing to a mirror.
"Yeah, I was changed a while ago." John said not looking. "Its good to see you. But way was I in your womb?"
"John, shut yer trap for a second and just look at yourself."
John did as he old sister told and immediately yelled. "WHY THE HELL AM I A GIRL!" Indeed he looked quite like a girl. A large pair of breasts as well as a much more feminine face, added to the fact that he lost a foot while in Launi.
"John, your not a girl. You're a hermaphrodite." Doctor Kagan said before pointing down.
"A what?!" John said a little quieter though shi was still quite confused.
"You have both female and male sexes." Doctor Kagan explained. "Launi what were you thinking about?"
"I was just thinking what it would have been like to have a sister instead of a brother." Launi said sheepishly.
"You know your passengers turn out looking however you picture them." Doctor Kagan said looking at her.
"Sorry..."
"John?" A girl sporting cat ears and a tail said as she opened the door. "John Head?"
"Yeah, that's my... CRYSTAL!" John shouted before hugging her forgetting what shi had become.. "You were here all this time?!"
"Its actually you John?" Crystal said looking at him. "Since when did you have breasts."
"Since I goofed up." Launi said admitting her mistake.
"Yeah, its me. Why are you here?"
"I was changed into a cat and the next thing I knew, I was taken here." Crystal said as she looked at John. "You look good like that." Crystal admitted.
"That actually reminds me." Shi said before turning to hir sister. "Why was I in your womb?"
"Because you were badly hurt, and Doctor Kagan here figured it might save your life. And obviously it did." Dani said as she hugged Launi.
"Since when does stuffing someone in your womb heal them?"
"Actually, she ate you. And since she was changed I guess she's been able to do that." Doctor Kagan said as he looked at John. "If you don't mind, we'd like to do some tests to make sure everything is fine and there is no lasting effects from you being shot and dragged."
"I was shot?" John said as shi looked even more confused. "I don't remember getting shot."
"You were. Now, please calm down and take a seat here." Doctor Kagan said as he rolled up a wheel chair. "Just a few tests and then your free to see your parents if you want." Doctor Kagan said before John did as shi was asked. "Crystal, don't you have an appointment?"
"Yeah, I just want to leave something for John." She said before jotting something down on a piece of paper before handing it to John, then she was out the door.
Dani and Launi went back to their cottage to be greeted by Claus in his usual manner of knocking Dani over and covering her with doggy kisses. "Claus off!" Dani said as usual and he got off and stood by his bowl waiting to be fed.
"Don't buy it, he's been fed." Chris said from the couch, he was channel surfing again. "300 channels and nothing but junk." He said before turning off the TV. "How's the brother?"
Claus looked sad when Dani didn't feed him but instead sat in one of the chairs.
"John is doing well, well, I don't know if you can call him my brother seeing as to how he is now a herm." Launi said a little depressed. "I hope he isn't too mad..."
"Hell, that time Gail made me one wasn't that bad." Chris said smiling. "Too bad she didn't let me stay that way, it was kind of fun to have some one in me."
"Well, some time maybe you can get one of us to turn you if you really want." Dani said smiling.
It wasn't long before there was a knock on the door. "Hello?" John's voice said from the other side.
"Hey John, come in the door's open." Dani said as from her seat, Claus making it hard for her to get up again as he was curled up on her lap.
John entered with Crystal in tow. "The parents aren't too happy at the moment. Think I can stay with you?"
"Sure, though I guess its my fault for them not being happy." Launi said sadly.
"Actually, they weren't happy when I was changed. The only reason they didn't kick me out was because they couldn't." John said as shi found a spot on the love seat, Crystal sat down next to hir.
"I guess they really aren't that nice after all. They went through and apologized to me for how they treated me as well before I went to heal you." Launi said obviously mad. "They aren't worth my time anymore. I guess it's a good thing I didn't let them stay for when I healed you."
"Yeah, Doctor Kagan was with me when I was reintroduced to them. I think dad almost had an aneurysm when he saw me." Shi said looking at Launi. "Good thing Doctor Kagan was there, otherwise I think dad would of beat me again."
"He beat you?" Launi asked John.
"Yeah, every time he saw me. He took out his frustrations for having sinners for children on me. I am glad you weren't around." John said as shi hugged Crystal.
Crystal was quiet and just enjoyed being back with her lover, even if shi was no longer looked like she used to.
"I am sorry. I wish I knew, I could have done something for you." Launi said looking at John."
"Don't worry. Doctor Kagan had dad arrested and mom returned home as soon as he saw what dad was about to do to me." Shi said before hugging Crystal.
"You mean he was going to beat you in front of Doctor Kagan and Mom?" Launi said surprised, never knowing her father to be so violent.
"Yeah, Doctor Kagan actually knocked Dad out himself before he could touch me. Never seen a person, much less a doctor move like that." Shi said remembering what happened. "Though it was a good thing the doctor did that. They found a knife on dad when they searched him."
"Well, at least he can't hurt you anymore. We'll have to get another bed, probably have it put in our office or maybe the basement. Any preference?" Launi asked John.
"Just as long as the bed is big enough for two, I couldn't care less." Shi said before squeezing Crystal.
Gail walked in. "Hey Crystal! How do you like how you came out." Gail said, she had been the one that turned Crystal from being a full cat to a neko girl.
"Great!" Crystal said before getting up and hugging Gail. "Thanks for helping me."
"It was nothing." Gail said looking at John. "Who's the girl friend?"
"Hir name is John." Launi said speaking up. "Shi is my brother."
"Did you just call her your brother? Wouldn't that make her a him?"
"Nope, shi is a herm now. Kinda turned out that way by accident."
"Oh... Crytal, you two an item?"
"Yeah, we just found each other when John was screaming about what hir sister did to hir." Crystal said before giggling.
"So you knew eachother before this."
"Yeah, we were going out for a while, then I changed and was taken by the government and put into quarantine a year ago here with you guys."
"I was changed a month ago, after they lifted the quarantine." John said as shi pulled Crystal into hir lap."
"You know, John doesn't so you anymore. How about Johanna?" Gail said as she looked at the new herm.
"Why can't I keep John?"
"Because you look like a girl now." Launi said. "Besides, we could just all you Jo for short."
"I don't know..."
"I like it Johanna." Crystal said before sitting back down.
"Okay, that's it. It's Johanna now." Johanna said as Crystal rested her head on Johanna's shoulder.
"Nice to meet you Johanna." Gail said smiling.
After a few days of rest and relaxation for the group of friends, a new bed was brought into the basement for Crystal and Johanna. Crystal and Jo were about to put it too good use too. Claus decided to start barking at the door before they heard a crash and Claus yelping before going quiet. Dani was quickly at the door to see what happened when she felt a sharp blow hit her stomach, she fell to the floor and saw Claus in a pool of blood. "No..." She muttered before her world went black.
"Dani!" Launi cried out seeing a man dressed in black punch Dani in the stomach before swiftly kicking her head when she fell down. The man turned around and looked at her.
"There is the one I wanted." He said as he took out a large Bowie Knife. The same one Launi's father kept on the mantle in a glass box. "Its fitting that I brought you into this world. And now I'll take you out." He said before lunging at Launi, she quickly dodged to the side before raking his face with her claws, shredding the balaclava he wore. "Damn heathen." He said before he went to slash her again, but once again he was rewarded with another four streaks down his face.
"Launi? What's going on?" Johanna said as shi arrived at the top of the basement steps.
"Ah, the other heathen shows his face." Stephen said as he changed targets and charged Johanna.
"Watch out!" Launi cried out trying to stop her father but was too late and he reached Johanna who was already reacting, though it appeared to be a little slowly at first, but at the last possible second Jo dodged to the side and their father went down the stairs head first and onto an unpadded carpet, snapping his neck. He was still alive but in pain and not moving.
Launi went to check on Dani and was happy to hear her breathing and felt her pulse when Launi checked on her neck. "Dad's alive. Though he isn't moving." Jo announced. Gail had already called security and they arrived a few minutes later with Doctor Kagan and a few nurses carrying some medical supplies.
Dani woke up to see Claus. "Help him..."
One of the nurses checked the wolf. "He's dead." She announced when she checked Claus' pulse.
Dani crawled over to him. "Dani, you know what your body can do to a living person who's been hurt. I don't know if it'll work the same with a dead wolf." Doctor Kagan said as he saw what Dani was going to do.
"I don't care. I have to try." She said before she started to eat Claus like she did when she first met him.
Launi went to her side and helped her.
The nurses pulled the Stephen out of the basement on a back board and were escorted with security out to front gate where an ambulance and the regular police showed up to take him away to a hospital.
It was a few months later when they heard about what finally happened to Launi's father. He was stuck in a bed in a hospital hooked up to life support, the fall caused him to go brain dead. Even if he was still conscious, he would have been stuck in a bed or a wheel chair because of the damage to his spinal cord.
Back at the Cottage everyone was making a fuss over Dani, appearantly when she ate the dead wolf, something happened that was new. Unlike Jo being healed by Launi, eating Claus after he died caused Dani to become pregnant instead of quickly healing his hurt body. This just caused even more confusion for poor Doctor Kagan. Here he was with three girls and a herm that could do these amazing things. And he had yet to figure out how they did a single one of those acts.
