Wow. Part 30 already. I really hope I get the ending right on this. Itll be so disappointing to have such a long run and then fudge the ending :/ Anyways, enjoy the new part.

====================

They awoke the next morning in a mess of limbs. Michael chuckled, "Looks like we have a problem here."

After untangling themselves, they went to Myra's kitchen and got themselves something to eat. Over breakfast, they discussed what would happen next. Myra started, "Michael, we have a lot of work to do for our ceremony."

"I guessed. Weddings on Earth take months to plan."

"Months? Wow that's a long time." Klaedr exclaimed.

"Yeah. A lot of rehearsal and a lot of planning." Michael replied.

"Well we don't need that much time Michael. We have our ceremony on the ruins of the temple. Nothing fancy, as I do not like it." Myra explained.

Michael nodded, "I don't care Myra. I do not have any wedding guests as none of my family are here, nor would they be invited. You do what you want Myra. It's your day and I want it to be your definition of perfect."

Myra blinked, "You would not invite your own flesh and blood?"

"No. I hate my family."

"You do?" Klaedr asked.

Michael nodded, "They never took an interest in me except from when they needed money."

Myra patted Michael on the shoulder, "You have me now. My family are warm and welcoming."

"Your parents didn't seem to like me until I collapsed."

"They didn't open up to the idea yet. Now they see the light."

"I wouldn't care if they didn't like me or not. I would still marry you."

Myra blushed and kissed Michael, "You're such a sweet dragon Michael."

Michael kissed back, "And you are too Myra."

Myra blushed harder and licked Michael's cheek, "Thank you Michael. I have made the right decision with my mate."

Klaedr stood up and looked at the couple, "Thank you for the meal, but I have a meeting to go to today."

Michael stood up and hugged Klaedr, "Thank you for everything."

Klaedr kissed Michael and saw herself out. Michael looked at Myra, "What shall we do today?"

"Get our sword and pen ordered and made." Myra replied.

Michael nodded, "And what else needs doing?"

"Our robes, invitations and finding a priest." Myra listed.

Michael added all the items to his list and smiled, "Let's get going then."

In the shop, the decided on a short 5 inch blade and a wonderful crafted white and blue pen and asked to put Myra's family crest on it. Michael had no family crest so he had Myra's engraved on the sword as well. Myra paid and the shop sent out an order for the crafters. They left happily after an hour of deciding on their final order. There were 2 cars on the street, one was being unloaded into a shop, and the other was closed. Michael saw both and watched the closed up car open and 2 dragons step out. They opened the back doors and pulled out weapons. Myra, who was talking to Michael, was oblivious until Michael slammed into her and pushed her into the ground behind the unloading car. Bullets slammed into the car and before anyone could react, the 2 dragons got back in their car and ran.

Michael stood up and looked at the damage before looking at a very shocked Myra, "Someone doesn't like our marriage plans."

Myra got up and hugged her mate, "Well we'd better get it done quickly."

"What's next?"

"Robes. I want us to be measured for our robes."

"Tailor?"

"I know the best in town."

They walked away, leaving the incident behind them. Michael saw the wonderful town where Myra lived in, but at the back of his mind, there was a growing fear that something would happen to one of them. Those dragons worked for someone, and he wanted to know who and why.

"We're here."

Michael looked at the store and saw the price tags on the suits in the window "Can we afford that?"

"Yes Michael. I am paying as well as my father."

"Dad's paying too?"

"Of course! It's a tradition Michael."

"Ok then." Michael finished, his voice trailing off as he focussed on the suits again. "Let's go inside."

Inside the shop Michael thought he had travelled to the 18th century. Pure silk robes in an array of vibrant colours. Michael didn't know what colour to go for so he walked to some purple roes. Myra giggled and pulled Michael away, "The purple shades are for females, Michael."

"What colour do I get then?"

"Red or light red."

"Pink?"

"Light red."

"Don't start with me Myra. It's pink and you know it!"

Myra chuckled and licked Michael before walking up to the counter, "We would like to be measured for robes."

The clerk behind the desk nodded and got the tailor. The tailor took a look at Myra and Michael, deep in thought and trying to come up with their sizes. "My name is Ryaak. I am the master tailor here. I would be happy to make your robes."

Myra smiled, "It will be a pleasure to have our robes made by the tailor who has served my family for generations."

Ryaak's face lit up, "I thought I knew you. Myra Vylkair?"

"Yes!"

"I did your mothers robes." Ryaak replied. "I'm sure we will find the perfect colour and fabric for you Myra. May I ask, who is your mate?"

"Michael is." Myra said, holding onto her mate. Michael smirked, "I'm Michael."

Ryaak held out a paw and Michael shook it firmly. Michael smiled and let the dragon measure him up, wing size as well as tail. He went over to Myra and started to measure her too, noting down everything on his tablet. He sent the details into his system and an order was put out for the right colour and length of fabric. Ryaak smiled, "It should be done within 4 days."

Myra giggled and hugged Michael, "Thanks Ryaak. See you soon."
