A Night of Firsts
Fanfic About: Kirara & Shippo.
I don't expect to be making another story about them for awhile, i'm not really a writer type person, but i'd like to hear any comments you might have.
"A Night of Firsts"
An argument over food allows the two smallest members of inuyasha group to spend sometime together, and brings about a realization of their true feeling for eachother.

It was late in the day, and after yet another fight with Inuyasha over him stealing Shippo's food the young fox demon had walked to the near by stream in hopes of catching more fish for himself. standing by the stream he wondered how best to enter the water, afew moments pass before he decided to take off his vest & undershirt. just as he stepped to the waters edge Kirara in her small form appeared from the direction he had come from. the nekomata was concerned about him and came to see if he was ok, she stepped to his side looking at him.
"Hey kirara... i guess i'm going to have to fish for myself." he said with abit of an annoyed tone, remembering the dog demon eating his meal. *mew?* sounded kirara, looking at him questioning if he could fish because of his short stature. "i suppose your right. well... let me try and see if i can find some anyway." he replied to the cat demon, patting her on the head and stepping into the water.
He walked out not far, only a few feet, glaring into the water and using his fox fire to iluminate the water as he searched. Kirara sat and watched him pace along the streams edge a few times. He stopped for a moment, as a fairly large fish (compared to his size) passed by, he quickly jumped and grabed it with his claws. Kirara stoud up as the kitsune held the creature up.
"Here kirara, catch this for me!" He said as he threw the fish on the bank. She stepped on it and it eventually stopped fighting. As she looked back to see what he was waiting for, she found that he was still looking through the water for more. After about 30 minutes of fishing he had caught five others, he then decided that was enough and put his shirt and vest back on.
A short time later they had gathered some wood and using Shippo's fox fire they had started a fire of their own. He was surpried the others hadn't come looking for him yet, but knew they we're still near by because he could hear them. He didn't mind since Kirara was with him. By the time the fish was cooked through Kirara seemed to be resting. Shippo gazed upon her sleeping form, for the moment thinking how strangely beautiful she seemed to be. He hopped to his feet and stepped closer to her, and gently started petting her back to her tails and awakened her.
"Would you like some fish too kirara? I'm sure i have more then enough." He said to her, Kirara nodded and mewed. Picking the largest of the fish he had caught he layed it on the ground infront of her. She mewed very happily, and started eating, as did shippo.
When Kirara finished she sat and watched shippo continue untill he was full aswell. She approached him and sat beside him closely, nuzzling up against his shoulder and then put her tails around him. Shippo began to blush alittle, in return he put an arm around her. She mewed again and started rubbing her head into his chest and under his chin.
"I really like you too Kirara..." he stopped as she pulled away and looked at him. She places her front paws on his chest, and licked across his face. He really began to blush hard now, but actually started to relax alittle more. She paused for a moment and looked at him again. he attempts to reach out and hold her, But she gently pushes into him, forcing him onto his back and sat on his legs with her paws on him.
"What do you want kirara?" he asked giggling. She wasn't sure exactly herself, but just felt that she wanted to be very close to this little demon boy. They both stayed still for a moment, then shippo slowly started stroking down her paws that were pushing against his chest. The feel of her soft fur against his hands
Kirara blushed alittle then mewed to him, asking him to rub her chest. Shippo didn't think anything unusual about it and did as she asked of him. "She means more to me then just a friend or an ally." Shippo thought to himself. Kirara purred as he petted the back of her head. She felt the same way about him aswell. As sango had cared for her, he to had cared for her when she had been hurt or was ill, and had always felt a closeness with him that she hadn't felt with any other.
Kirara's broke their kiss and put her nose to his, she asked something else of him. "would you be my mate?" She mewed, he understood her native tongue and he could feel his face grow hotter as he thought over her words. "Ye...Yes, i will. I will be your mate Kirara." He stamered to answer. Even though he wasn't completely sure how to actually mate, Kirara wanted to make it very clear to him. he was taken by surprise as she bit into the sash of his hakama and pulled it loose, holding it up infront of him.
"but the others are..." He stopped as Kirara whined. He then looked at her cutely, and gave a playful growl to her. "ok... but lets be quite then ok Kirara?" he said. Kirara chirruped in excitement, dropping the sash. She hoped off his lap as he grabed his shirt and vest, took them off. She watched closely with growing nervousness, as he now sat only in his already loose hakama.
She nuzzled lovingly against him, her paws working to pull away his hakama. Shippo sat still as she undressed him, wondering what he was suppost to do. She pulled the garment aside, then she positioned herself between his legs. Much to her liking his penis was unlike that of a nekomata, his being fairly smooth and long compared to his size. Her paws gripped lightly on his foxhood, making him gasp as she squeezed him again. She rubbed her paw against the underside of his shaft, and soon it pushing hard into her chest.

"I would of imagined that kirara would of brought shippo back by now." said Kagome.
"Kirara and the runt aren't far, i can still smell them, their nearby i'm positive." answered Inuyasha, in his regular annoyed tone.
"They fell asleep perhaps?" Miroku summised. And just as he said that, shippo returned carrying kirara on his back.
"Where have you two been?" Kagome asked.
Putting Kirara down, Shippo chuckled nervously. "Well, after Inuyasha stole my dinner, I went to get more, but I overate and got a tummy ache."
"Serves ya right, you little runt." Inuyasha interrupted.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome exclaimed, glaring at him.
"Kirara was nice enough to find some herbs to make me feel better." Shippo continued. "After I felt better, we watched the fish leap from the stream for a while before coming back."
"Mmm... Hmm..." Miroku said with a slight cocky smile.
"Yeah right!" Inuyasha blurted out. "I bet you two were-"
"Inuyasha, that's enough." Kagome interrupted. "If he says he was watching the fish, then that's what he was doing. Let's not cause unnecessary arguments."
"Feh, whatever." Inuyasha said, turning away dejectedly.
Shortly thereafter, the two demons fell asleep by the fire.
Sango leaned over to Kagome. "They do look happy together, don't they?"
"Yes," Kagome replied. "They must have enjoyed themselves."
