The Digimon Wars Chapter 19 Aftermath
''This is CNN news with an amazing story, the United States and the Soviet Union have made a deal where the Russians will open up an digital gate and send the US army into the digital world to fight the evil Napoleon. USA!! USA!! USA!!''
The aftermath of the battle was crazy, there were lots of broken trees and holes in the ground.
But they were nothing compared to the two huge craters, the other one was the size of a city and deep as a mine.
The other one was only the size of a large town but it was still pretty impressive.
Of course there was a third one, a fairly small but still big.
Here Seraphimon had attempted a kamikaze attack on Michael, but failed.
Michael had somehow survived, but even thou he lived he was in a critical state.
Michael was in his human form laying on a bed back at Freiheit, next to him was another bed with Tailmon in it.
Katie was pacing in the room, when she had seen the explosion she had fainted.
When she was concious she had seen Michael's dead body, there was no hearth beat or breathing.
After some desperate first aid they had managed to get his hearth bumping again.
They had gotten all the Digimon back to their homes in Freiheit but they didn't even check if their homes were intact, instead the entire town was waiting outside the HQ.
They were waiting for their leader, many kids had brought flowers and placed them in a pile infront of the building.
After some explaining the Digimon had also started gathering flowers and brought them into the pile.
There were many people and Digimon crying over their concern on their leader, he had been unconcious ever since yesterday.
Tailmon was also unconcious because she had reached her mega level for the first time, everyone else...
Well...
Tyler was with Lopmon and he had explained how she had to support Michael.
Alexander was by Michael's bed on a chair, waiting for him to wake up.
Tom was in a bed on the other side of the room, but he wasn't unconcious.
He was simply all burned out and needed rest.
Lilymon was checking if every citizen had what they needed.
Katie stopped her pacing and walked out of the room, even thou Alexander wanted to stop her she didn't.
Katie ran down the stairs and into the digi gate machine room.
She turned on the TV and sat on Tailmon's seat.
Katie had watched some TV for a good hour, she tried to do anything to get her mind out of Michael.
She got scared when the small alarm from the digi gate machine went off, when she looked at the machines screen her eyes widened.
Someone opened an digital gate near Freiheit.
Katie quickly ran out of the room and back upstairs, when she reached Michael's room she saw that Alexander had fallen asleep.
Katie ran to her and shook her awake.
''Come on, wake up!
Alexander got her hands off of her.
''What's the matter?''
''Another digital gate opened! Come on we need to check it out!''
Alexander was scared but followed her.
Katie and Alexander were in their mega forms, they were flying to the battlefield were they had defeated the 9th Crusade army just a day ago.
They were flying for a while until they stopped, they saw something horrible.
The US army.
Katie cursed a little while Alexander kept her eyes on the enemy.
There were dozens of tanks and choppers, there were hundreds of soldiers and dozens of artillery batterys.
There were jeeps mongooses and plenty of equipment, Katie turned tp Alexander.
''We have to fight them, we're the only ones who can still digivolve and they're just men.''
Alexander thought of it for a while.
''Yeah, we gotta help Napoleon.''
Katie looked at the enemy for a few seconds.
''Go back.''
''What?''
''Go back! You're not ready for something like this, warn the others!''
Alexander was startled but understood, she nodded.
Katie nodded and smiled, she looked at the aproaching army and giggled a little.
Alexander was a little confused.
''What's so funny?''
Katie looked at her.
''I'm still the only one who knows his real name.''
Then Katie rushed at the enemy, leaving Alexander behind confused.
''Wait! You mean you're not French?!''
Katie flew above the enemy and prepared her attack.
''Star-Light Explosion!''
Katie flapped her four wings and began dropping hundreds small balls of energy that would work like a air strike.
She watched as the destruction began, she enjoyed it.
Katie kept on raining death all around the enemy army until they began shooting at her with Anti-Air guns.
Katie had to fly back to Freiheit, they would have to do a stand off there.
When Katie had reached and landed in Freiheit alarms were already going off and the kids and smaller Digimon were being evacuated.
Katie was somewhat startled when Alexander and Lilymon suddenly appeared infront of her.
''We're going to slow them down, come on!'' Alexander yelled and flew up.
Katie flew after them, they only flew above Freiheit when they started firing at the enemy.
''Crimson Flame!'' Katie started firing fire balls out her mouth.
''Amethyst Wind!'' Alexander unleashed a storm of cherry blossoms that cut throught anything.
''Flower Cannon!'' Lilymon started shooting with her flower gun.
They were all continuesly firing at the aproaching enemy, they quickly destroyed the enemy choppers and artillery.
No matter how many tanks they destroyed more came, the soldiers kept on running towards the city.
Katie and the others kept on firing at the enemys who were trying to kill them, suddenly Katie got hit by a tank shell.
She started falling to the ground, Alexander and Lilymon were shocked.
Katie hit the ground hard, after laying there for a few seconds she devolved back to her human form.
The soldiers were reaching the hill with their fast moving vehicles.
Just as Alexander and Lilymon were losing hope they hear it, a huge familiar roar.
They turned around to see Michael in his ChaosGreymon form, he was flying towards them.
Even thou they cheered they were worried because they saw that Michael was struggling to stay up.
Michael quickly passed them and went to meet the enemy, the entire army stopped.
It was quiet for a moment, no one moved ot dared to shoot.
They were all suprised when Michael spoke.
''We surrender! Don't hurt them, take me!''
All of the Digimon and humans were shocked, Katie especially.
Tyler was in Tom's room watching the scene from a window.
''What the hell are you saying?''
Michael looked at Alexander and Lilymon.
''Get out of here, help the others.''
They started to protest but were silenced when Michael glanced at them.
When they went back to Freiheit to help Katie and the others Michael turned to face the army.
''I surrender! Take me as your prisoner but leave my followers alone!''
