desert winds

the club was crowded but to him only she existed. he sat at his table where he had many nights before, watching her as she danced, her fennec body lithe and athletic, her veils swirling, the music throbbing its ancient rythym. his cat ears swiveled as he held his drink, taking in her beauty with his eyes. she smiled as she saw him, winking to him and giving her hips an extra swing. the crowd applauded as she finished her act with a flourish and a sultry look at him. after the last veil was gone and the music over, she bowed to the patrons and left. he left also, returning to his tent just outside of the town, leaving a small note on the table.
he sat, the flap partly open, waiting. the desert wind blew its mournful song, rustling and whispering over the dunes. he sat motionless, as silent as the stones, until the moonlight at the tent flap was eclipsed by a slender shadow. it was her. their eyes met and without a word she slipped off her robe, standing there naked. she stepped inside and began to dance. there was no music, none was needed, only them, together at this time. she swirled and turned, showing her love, and when it was done she moved to him and knelt. he took her face in his paws and they kissed deeply. their hearts made their own music as they kissed and kissed. when at last the kiss was done, they gazed into each others eyes. she smiled and moved her paws into his robe.
his robes fell to the carpet as she stroked his stiffening cathood. she moved herself up, settling down onto him, a soft moan escaping as she sheathed him within her body. he held her close and they began to move, a different kind of dance, kissing and sighing with love and desire. the motions became faster and she gripped his shoulders and gasped loudly, her eyes wide as she felt the explosion deep inside her. he licked her neck and moaned as he gave his tribute in return, his seed flowing into her depths. they trembled and shivered, their bodies tight together.
at last he lay back and she lay over him, stroking his chest fur, smiling tenderly. he purred and moved his discarded robe over them, kissing her softly as the lovers lay entwined. the moon shining on their love, the only sound to be heard, the restless desert winds.
