Kaa in the jungle was crawling from tree to tree, terribly bored. Since Bagheera and Baloo brought the mancub to the village, his life became an endless succession of eat-sleep-eat-sleep. "We do it for his own good; among men he will be safe!" Bagheera's words made him nervous every time he reminded them. "I just wanted to help him, if only I had the opportunity. And not among men, but in my coils he would be safe. Like the time I hid him by Shere Khan, but of course nobody wants to admit it. " Kaa continued to wander among the branches, while, nearby, Mowgli was looking for the snake.

When they were close enough, Kaa sniffed the air: there was a smell ... familiar. As soon as he had identified, Kaa did not believe it: the smell was ... Mowgli, the man cub! Identified the source of the odor, Kaa slithered quickly felt in the direction from which come the scent.

"Who knows where it is at this moment!" Mowgli looked around and sighed. He did not know how long he was wandering in the jungle in search of Kaa, began to think that he would never have found. "Probably no longer lives in this area, the jungle is immense. Imight not ever find him. " Kaa was actually hiding on a tree behind Mowgli, delighted to be able to review the man cub. "How is it grown! He has become a nice guy. "Kaa wanted to go to greet Mowgli, but he remained hidden; he believed that as soon as he had seen him, Mowgli would have run away and Kaa would never see him again. Mowgli stood at the center of the clearing where he was. He looked around and, seeing no one, he decided to lie down and rest after the long walk. "As soon as he fall asleep I could go to stroke, just to feel him close again," thought Kaa as he watched more and more fascinated the man cub.

Mowgli could not fall asleep, something was blocking him. He looked around and realized what was wrong, with his back to Kaa took off her panties and threw them on the grass. "So I can sleep," Mowgli thought, and lie supine on the grass, he fell asleep immediately.
