"We need to boost our ratings, quick," Brett declared. The coyote's voice surged with frustration and anxiety as he paced around his office.
"What would you suggest?" Aiden asked, his bushy tail swaying steadily behind him as he, himself, started feeling a little anxious due to his producer's incessant pacing.
"Well, first starters..." He gave the swift fox a disparaging look before grabbing the remote and pressing the play button, resuming a paused video on the TV behind him.
"And that's all from the Toronto Film Festival. I'm Aiden Kitley with FO--Oh, you know what it's called. Back to you, Daron."
Brett paused the video again, giving Aiden that same disapproving look."_Don't do _that again. It's unprofessional."
"Come on, do we really have to say it everytime?" the vulpine lamented. "Everyone knows the anchors, reporters, commentators, and analysts here at FOX are f--"
"Yeah, doesn't matter," he cut Aiden off. "I expect everyone to maintain a degree of professionalism here. You can afford to be humourous, sure, but you still have a job to do. "
"Alright, alright, I'm sorry."
Aiden didn't bother alluding to the overwhelming irony that Brett was one of the few people at FOX who wasn't...well, the namesake species. He was still a coyote, though, so it wasn't like he was a complete stranger, genus-wise.
"Hmm." Brett resumed pacing around the office, contemplating a solution.
"I think...if we want better ratings, we should try doing more exciting things. Give the audience something they'd actually be interested in. You know, interviews with famous celebs, people they actually care about. You know, like... giving me my own segment that we talked about? Where I interview celebrities, like writers, actors, directors, etc? You still haven't gotten back to me."
"I'm still thinking about it. It's a hard call."
"Well, like I said, people want to know about celebrities, and what they're up to."
Brett snapped his fingers. "I got it! What do you think of... Alley Robin?"
"The author?" Aiden's tail wagged furiously as his green eyes lit up. "The most beautiful silver fox on the fucking planet?"
The coyote grinned. "That's the one. He just won a Sierra Climax Award for his latest novel; people are gonna want to hear him speak. We originally scheduled an interview with him several months ago, but something came up, and he had to cancel. Though, I think he'd be up for trying again."
"Let's interview him, then!" Aiden declared with righteous enthusiasm.
"No, I want Brandon to take this one. You're supposed to be covering another festival, remember?"
"What?" The fox's ears immediately drooped and splayed against his head. "Brett. I'm Alley's biggest fan; I've followed his work for years. Let me have this one, please. Besides, the last interview Brandon did was a total disaster. Did you completely forget about that?"
Brett leaned against his desk and arched a brow. "And why should I give you a special opportunity when you can't even take your job seriously?"
Aiden didn't how to respond. He sighed heavily and lowered his head. Brett was right; going so non-chalant the way he often did before didn't exactly speak volumes about his work ethic or professionalism. And now he was paying for it.
"Well?" Brett insisted.
"Because..." Aiden sighed again. "Alright. I'm sorry again for being so unprofessional. Really. I'll do better. But don't take this away from me. I can do this, and make it fantastic." The swift fox's paws balled into tight fists, and the look in his eyes made it clear that he was sincere. "This is a perfect opportunity, and I guarantee you I can pull this interview off better than any other reporter here. Just give me the chance, and I promise you'll be blown away."
"Promise, huh?"
"Promise." Aiden nodded solemnly.
Brett just looked at the fox for a moment before letting his arms fall back at his sides as he finally stood up straight. "Alright."
Aiden's ears immediately perked. He knew he didn't just hear the coyote wrong. "I can do it?" He quickly wagged.
"Yeah," he said, "but it better be good. I want something entertaining. Something Bold. Something unique. I want to be blown away." Brett's voice was firm and his look would have held Aiden in place if the fox wasn't still wagging. "Do a good job with this, and you can have your segment."
The eager vulpine clasped his paws together. "It'll be better than good. Like I said, it'll be fantastic."
"Good. I'll have Katherine cover the festival. Meawhile, go ahead and contact Alley to see if he's still up for that interview. Being that you're such a big fan, I imagine you know his email address, right?"
"Absolutely. I'll go send him an email right now."
Brett nodded and waved a paw. "Go ahead, then."
Aiden nodded back eagerly and left the coyote's office, heading toward the lounge to find the first vacant computer he set his green eyes on. He didn't even stop to greet any of his fellow employees, being as excited as he was. He quickly booted up the internet and email client, and began typing up a brief email to the aforementioned fox.
Hello Alley,
I'm Aiden Kitley here with FOX News. We were wondering if you were still interested in doing an interview with us. If you're still interested, let us know, and we'll be glad to set up a time.
Kind regards, Aiden Kitley, FOX News Reporter
Aiden nodded. It was short, succinct, and to the point. Perfect.
With one click of the mouse, the email was sent off. And that was it.
"Guess I play the waiting game, now." Aiden leaned back in his chair, glancing up at the ceiling.
Suddenly, he was slapped across the muzzle by a stack of papers, accompanied by a familiar female laugh.
"Daydreaming, are we?"
"Hey, Katherine." Aiden glared at the gray fox, unamused by the grin splayed so prominently around her muzzle.
"Enjoy that film festival?"
"It was whimsical. By the way, the music festival that I was supposed to be covering, as well? Brett wants you to take that one."
"Uh, what?" The gray fox crossed her arms against her chest. "And why the hell for?"
Aiden grinned. "Because I'm going to be too busy interviewing Alley Robin."
"Holy shit, the author?" Katherine's eyes went wide.
"That's the one." Aiden's tail swiveled excitedly in his chair.
"Nice one! Must have taken a lot to pull that off. Any idea what you're going to do for the interview?"
"Honestly..." The swift fox lost his grin. "I don't have a clue. The guy is hands down my favourite writer. I never thought I'd actually be interviewing him."
Katherine smiled and gingerly patted his shoulder. "Try not to be too nervous, okay? From what I hear, he's a lovely guy."
Aiden smiled back. "Thanks, Kate."
"No problem. Anyway, I better go talk to Brett about this festival. I'll be seein' ya."
"See you soon." Aiden waved the other vulpine off.
He hadn't truly considered until Katherine came by, but he realized, now more than ever, just how nervous he was. He knew he had to maintain a professional demeanor, especially since this was his big chance, but at the same time, the prospect of meeting his favourite author was almost overwhelming.
He wasn't sure if he would conduct it as a typical interview, either. No, this one was special, it had to be unique. But how? With what? That was the real question. Then again, Alley still had to say yes.
Suddenly, a corner of the computer screen caught Aiden's eye.
He had a new message in his inbox.
He immediately clicked on it, and to his shock, it was from Alley.
"Wow, that was quick..." he said, eagerly reading over the message.
Hey Aiden,
Sure, I've got a free day today. Was just getting some writing done, but I've got time for an interview. I'm not up for traveling, though, so why don't you swing by my place and we can have a more personable interview? I know FOX does that sometimes. Address is
7364 Paramount Avenue Apt 4 Toronto, ON, L5B 174
I'll be at home all day, so you shouldn't miss me. Hope to see you, soon!
-Alley
"Well, damn. He actually...said yes!" Aiden smiled and wagged again. "I guess I better get on over there, then."
The swift fox immediately typed out a quick reply.
Great to hear! Thank you very much, Alley! We'll be on our way now!
Kind regards, Aiden Kitley, FOX News Reporter
And with that, he quickly excused himself from the computer. He took a quick look in the mirror to make sure his appearance was up to snuff. He touched up his hair slightly, rearranging his bangs to lay around his eyes. His grey slacks were fine, but he had to readjust his silver vest over his black shirt. A simple fix.
Then it was out of the lounge, and back into Brett's office.
"Sorry, gotta borrow this!" Aiden said, grabbing the coyote's tripod and camera.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Brett arched a brow.
"Alley accepted. And I'm going to need the best equipment we have for this interview. That's your camera."
The coyote lamented. "Alright, just bring it all back in one piece."
"Absolutely."
In less than a minute, the fox was outside, loading everything into one of the company vans before jumping in, himself. It was obvious that he was brimming with enthusiasm, and why shouldn't he have been? It wasn't like he'd interviewed a celebrity before, and especially not one he personally followed and liked.
Liked. Well, that was true, too. He didn't have time to think about that, now, though. He had to be professional with this interview; there was no time to worry about some silly little crush. He still wondered how the whole thing would go, though, and the thought permeated his mind during the drive--more like journey--to Alley's place.
"Can't believe he lives on the other side of town," Aiden said to himself. Fortunately, every news van had a GPS. Quite handy.
It took about an hour to get there, and once he pulled up to the curb, he earnestly jumped out of the van, even more excited than before; so much so that he nearly closed the door on his wagging tail.
Calm down, he thought, trying to contain himself. He had to take a couple deep breaths before pulling the equipment out of the van, lest he accidentally drop any of it. Or worse, break it.
"Alright, this is it," he said, hauling the equipment to designated apartment and ringing the doorbell. This was it. The moment he'd waited so long for; he was about to meet his favourite author. It felt like his heart was beating way too fast for him to count. He could have taken a million deep breaths, and he still wouldn't have been as calm as his professionalism--and producer--dictated he ought to be.
The door finally opened. And in the doorway stood one beautiful silver fox. A deep, stunning purple decorated his eyes, which became all the more accentuated when paired with the silver, white, and black fur adorning his body. The way his bangs drooped lazily, yet so fittingly down to his neck made him look all the more charming, as did the welcoming smile on his muzzle.
"You must be Aiden," he said in a pleasant voice to an otherwise frozen swift fox. "I'm Alley." He held out his paw.
Aiden quickly shook his head, blushing slightly as he shook the other vulpine's paw. "Yes. Sorry, I'm Aiden, yeah." He tried to smile back, despite feeling like an idiot.
"Why are the cute ones always so bashful?" Alley giggled, causing Aiden to blush harder this time.
"It's not everyday that someone gets to meet their favourite author." The darker vulpine started wagging again.
"Oh, charmer, eh? Thank you." Alley's smile widened. "So, how about we go inside and get started?"
"Absolutely." Aiden nodded and followed his silver counterpart inside.
"Wonderful place you've got here," Aiden declared, letting his eyes skim over the dor of the other fox's apartment, admiring the colourful flair it boasted. It became quickly apparent that Alley had a fondness for lavender and other brightly attractive colours.
"Thank you. It's no secret that I'm a fox of 'colourful' taste." He grinned. Aiden chuckled and shook his head in jest. "Let's get the living room set up," Alley said, rearranging several pieces of furniture.
"Right. I'll set up the equipment."
Aiden's nervousness became more evident, and it particularly showed when he fumbled and almost dropped the camera. He had to blush profusely in embarrassment when Alley actually came to his aid to help him set up the equipment.
"You're familiar with this?"
"I've had a lot of interviews." He nodded.
When they were finished setting up, a large sectional couch stood in the center in the living room, with the camera and tripod perfectly positioned several feet away to get both vulpines in full view. Alley sat dutifully wagging on one side while Aiden sat on the other and pushed the record button on a small remote before counting down.
"And we're on in 3...2..." he silently mouthed 'one' before beginning. He smiled at the other canid across from him and took a deep breath. "Hello, everyone, I'm Aiden Kitley with Fox News, and today I'm sitting here with renowned author Alley Robin, who is most widely known for his fantastic tales of tails homoerotic romance. Outside of romance, however, his work covers everything from sci-fi to medieval fantasy, and he boasts an impressive record of five Sierra Climax Awards, recently eclipsing Nathan Taylor's record of four. His latest novel, Jump Through Time has just recently been released," the swift fox concluded proudly, still in awe that such words came out of his own muzzle as he sat wagging with a smile on his face that made the other vulpine chuckle.
"Alley, it is a...pleasure, I have to say. Really, " Aiden said, leaning in and happily shaking paws with his counterpart a second time.
Alley smiled enthusiastically. "Pleasure to be here, Aiden, thank you."
"Well, it's your living room. You were already here."
Alley chuckled.
"So, the novel was just released last week; how are you feeling?"
"I'm doing really good, really good. The fan response has been really positive so far, and I'm so glad people are liking it."
"Wonderful to hear! I do have to confess, though, that even though I've followed...practically everything you've ever done..."Alley started chuckling again, which quickly incited Aiden's wagging tail and eager smile."I haven't actually bought Jump Through Time, yet."
"Aww, such a shame, my fellow vulpine!"
"I know! But I plan to correct that soon."
"There's a good dog." The silver fox smirked, prompting a giggle from his interviewer.
"However, I do know what it's about: a fox who jumps back and fourth through time to examine his ups and downs of his relationship?"
"Yup. That's right."
"And I presume that this, like your other novels, contains explicit scenes of gay sex?"
"Of course. I am a fox, after all. People know what to expect from me by now."
"Now, that's an interesting thing to say. Tell me, does that mean you aren't worried that you might be perpetuating...a certain stereotype about foxes?"
"And what's that?" Alley leaned forward.
"The stereotype that all foxes think about is sex?"
The silver vulpine grinned again. "Stereotypes exist for a reason, don't they?"
"So..."
"No, I'm not worried; I'm just being honest. Sex is a natural part of life. It's important. We all do it, and we love it. It happens. And when it comes to me, well...I'm a fox, honey. Pure and simple."
"Do you think being a fox makes you...somewhat 'predisposed', let's say, to sex, more than other species?"
"To an extent, absolutely."
Aiden arched a brow. "...Really."
"Think about it. The average male thinks about sex every twenty-nine seconds. The average gay male? The average male canid? Sixteen seconds. The average gay male canine? Nine seconds. But for foxes? We're in a league of our own, we're not 'canines', per say, but we're still 'canid'. And the average gay, male fox thinks about sex every six seconds. Having knots really increases our libido."
The swift fox chuckled. "I'm not sure I believe that."
"Really? Tell me, how long have you been thinking about fucking me the moment you walked in my door?"
Aiden immediately blushed again and his ears swiveled back as his tail froze. "What?"
"Just an honest question." Alley wagged. "You've been blushing since you got here. So, go on, tell me. You can be honest. How long have you sat there fantasizing about me?"
Aiden had never felt more embarrassed in his life. To be sitting before his favourite author, interviewing him in his own home was a dream come true, for sure, but he couldn't deny his attraction toward him as well. Aiden wanted to keep that suppressed for the interview, though. Professionalism, that's what he needed here, and that's what dominated his mind. But to be asked such a direct question from the person he admired the most left him rather speechless.
His ears remained pinned against his head. "I guess..."
"You guess..."
"For the past twelve minutes...my mind's kinda been on and off it."
"Cute." Alley smiled and nodded. "See, there's nothing wrong or shameful about that. It's natural. Right?"
"Right." Aiden bit his lower lip.
"Right. We're gay, male canids. The need to bury our 'bone' is almost instinctive," he continued, "Tell me, what's the best way to please a fox? Aside from the nether regions, obviously. And this applies to all foxes; red, swift, grey, silver, etc."
Aiden finally managed to get his ears back in their normal erect position. Erect...that's definitely not what he needed to be thinking about right now, but Alley proved to be such an unpredictable firecracker.
"For me, it's always been the base of my tail," Aiden almost forced the words out.
"Of course. Don't forget behind the ears, too! I personally love that." Alley grinned.
"I can't deny that, either." Aiden tried to smile again.
"It's the same for other canids, too. Wolves, coyotes, jackals, dogs, etc, they all love getting attention to their ears and tails."
"That sounds about right."
"Indeed. So, tell me, what kind of fantasies about me did you have going through that foxy mind of yours?" He snickered.
Aiden tried so hard to keep from pinning his ears back again. He was so unaccustomed to such unabashed and direct openness, and it kept him in an awkward position, considering he was supposed to stay professional.
"You're kidding. You...really want to know?"
"Of course; If someone's fantasizing about me, I'm only curious." Alley winked.
How did the interview spiral downward into this, Aiden thought. This kind of conversation should have been fun, he wanted it to be fun, but it kept clashing with the professionalism he was supposed to maintain. He took a deep breath and bit his lip again, trying to calm himself down and relax.
"Just relax. Like I said, you can tell me." Alley nodded approvingly.
"And this is totally okay?"
"Absolutely."
"Well, then," Aiden said, trying to keep a straight face. "...I'd love to kiss you, for starters."
"Kissing's lovely..." The silver fox leaned forward, his tail rapidly thumping the cushion again as he gestured for swift fox to continue.
"And I'd be lying if I said I didn't want you to fuck my brains out right here and now." Despite his inhibitions, a faint smile splayed across Aiden's muzzle, thanks to his silver host's encouragement.
"Nothing wrong with that." Alley giggled. "How about a blowjob?"
Aiden's smile widened. "That, too."
"I should be so lucky to have such beautiful vulpines like you fantasizing about me." Alley winked again before getting up and reseating himself next to his swift guest, whose blush quickly returned.
"So...back to our original topic," Aiden said, placing one leg over the other. "You seem to take pride in writing as much sex as you do."
"Well, I think I take pride in writing about things that naturally happen in real life," Alley said, "If it's natural and happens all the time, should there be any shame in it?"
"Not at all."
"Just what I wanted to hear." In that exact moment, Alley pulled the swift fox into a deep kiss. Aiden's eyes quickly widened in surprise, and his mind screamed with objections to how wrong and unprofessional this was, but he found himself unable to resist the sweet taste and delectable tongue of the silver vulpine he had such a profound attraction to.
He eagerly embraced Alley and returned the kiss with the same fervor and vigor that the silver fox showed him.
It was incredible.
Their tongues coiled and slathered with each other in a sloppy, passionate mess as they both moaned fervently into the kiss.
Aiden hardly noticed how quickly their upper garments came off and soon enough, the red and brown fur of his chest meshed beautifully with the white and silver of Alley's. They struggled to free themselves from their lower garments just as quickly, but once they did, Alley's black paw took hold of the firm, pink flesh between Aiden's legs, causing the swift fox to moan again.
Aiden's left paw ran earnestly through the gorgeous fur along Alley's back and sides while his right stroked along those adorable ears, completely enraptured with him and ignoring the increasingly distant objections in his head.
Soon, their kiss finally broke, and the two of them panted slowly, gazing at each other with an unfathomable lust while holding each other as Alley stroked their lengths.
"You still up...for fucking your brains out?" the silver fox said breathlessly with a smile.
Aiden's mind didn't even register the fact that the camera was still recording; he didn't care. All he could think about was those beautiful, purple eyes staring into his, that hot, vulpine breath washing over his face, and that thick member that would soon be ramming into him. He wanted it so bad, he could taste it, just as much as he tasted Alley's tongue.
"Yeah," he said with a goofy, lustful smile, giving Alley another kiss before turning over onto his stomach.
The silver fox giggled, eagerly lubricating his shaft with precum and shifting his body and weight to accommodate the swift fox under him. His paws then gripped the cushions as he slid himself deep into Aiden's passage, moaning right along with him as they squirmed against each other. The swift fox closed his eyes, embracing the immediate sensations of pain and pleasure as they clashed within rear. His clenching muscles and exceeding warmth quickly proved too much for Alley to resist, however, and the silver fox wasted no time in pounding Aiden's rump to the full extent.
Their foxy vocalizations filled the room, and Aiden found himself begging for other vulpine's knot, pushing back against him in a plea for their imminent tie, and Alley quickly took the hint. His muzzle hung open with his tongue lolling out, and he gleefully lapped along the swift fox's neck, moaning into a mix of red and brown fur as he plunged his cock deep inside that luscious rump time and again with increasing vigor. Aiden's vulpine howls nearly distorted the camera once he felt Alley's knot push through, and he had to calm himself down from the sexual excitement because of the initial sting. This time it was Alley whose heavy pants dominated the room and despite trying to hold himself back, he found his counterpart's tightness unbearable. He cried out in bliss from his orgasm as he filled Aiden's rump with several messy spurts of vulpine cum.
The swift fox had the goofiest, yet happiest look on his face imaginable, his own tongue lazily hanging out of his muzzle as he clenched his muscles again to accentuate his tightness for the panting canid above him.
Alley gave a few affectionate bucks until collapsing on top of Aiden, the both of them giggling and panting tiredly. "So...was it everything you dreamed?"
"And more..." Aiden smiled, turning his head slightly to lick Alley's muzzle. "Even if I didn't come, too."
"Well, that's the thing about sex. It's not always about coming. Just enjoying each other." The silver fox smiled and stroked one of his counterpart's ears.
"I'm fine with that." Aiden smiled as well.
"On the other hand..." Alley said before dipping a paw down to squeeze that sumptuous knot several times in conjunction with his own hard bucks, eliciting eager moans from the fox below him. He made sure their hips remained flush as he wiggled his cock around in Aiden's rear while locking several fingers behind his knot and squeezing even harder.
Quickly pushed to his own orgasm, Aiden was breathless once his sticky jets spewed onto the cushion below him, spurred on by Alley's eager paw as it pushed out every single drop. He then collapsed in his own juices, just as fatigued as the silver fox above him while they gleefully lied there together.
"So...what was that for?" Aiden asked with a blissful sigh and giggle.
"It's far more satisfying when both people come. Even though foxes are never satisfied." Alley grinned and kissed the other vulpine's neck.
Aiden wiggled his rump against Alley. "I'm mostly satisfied." He smiled widely. In truth, he knew the interview had gone wildly off track, and that Brett would very likely jump on his tail, but he was far too mellow and giddy to care.
Alley chuckled and licked Aiden's cheek.
"So, back to our interview..."
"If you don't mind continuing like this." Alley smiled coyly. Aiden giggled again and shifted, grabbing a pillow and placing it under his cheek for support. Alley also shifted, rolling him and Aiden onto their sides, and wrapping a paw around the swift fox's waist while propping himself up with an elbow. The tingling sensation they got from their fur brushing so close together again left them both sighing happily in each other's company, in addition to their mutual afterglow.
"So, now that Jump Through Time has been released, what's next for you?"
"Snuggling with the cute swift fox." Alley grinned, prompting the namesake vulpine to chuckle. "Actually, I have a few stories that I'm working on right now, and a couple that need to be re-edited. I'm also several pages away from finishing a graphic novel. If all goes well, that'll be released possibly by the end of the year."
"Sounds like a plan." Aiden laced his fingers with Alley's, giving him an affectionate squeeze. "What advice do you have for other writers?"
Alley squeezed back and kissed Aiden's cheek. "Read. Read, read, read, read. I can't stress that enough. Read things from your favourite authors, learn what they're strengths and weaknesses are. Nathan Taylor says you should read twice as much as you write, and I agree with him. And not just that, but you need to read your own work critically. And learn to edit." He nodded solemnly. "Writing is only one part of the process, and it's the fun part, but editing is where you truly shape and mold the story. It's boring, tedious, and a chore, and that's exactly how it's supposed to be."
"Perfectly sound advice." Aiden smiled. "And finally, would you encourage other writers to write adult fiction as well?"
"Hmm." The silver fox shifted once again. "The obvious answer is that people should write what they want to write. But honestly, it depends on the market they're writing for, the audience they're trying to appeal to, and what they're trying to accomplish. For me, I like writing about this stuff to the point where I don't feel like I'm selling out. I love it. I'd say if you want to write about sex, then write about sex, but be aware of the market or audience you're writing for."
"Again, wonderful advice for others to live by. And I think that's about all the time have for now. I had some more questions, but, well..."
"Kinda got tangled up." Alley giggled.
Aiden blushed slightly and squeezed Alley's paw once more. "Not that I'm complaining. Thanks so much for having me, Alley."
The silver fox smiled. "It was truly my pleasure. You have no idea," he said, reaching over to kiss the swift fox deeply before Aiden pressed the stop button on the remote. "And that was probably the best interview I'll ever get." Alley's tail thumped the couch.
"And probably my last one once my producer sees this." Aiden chuckled despite the inevitable confrontation and fallout he'd face with Brett. "Even if it was a dream come true. In more ways than one." He smiled still.
"Nah," Alley said, "If there's one universal truth about the world, it's that sex sells. Period."
Aiden then shifted, turning slightly to look at the other vulpine inquiringly. "See, the thing is, most people don't want to watch the news these days, because it's depressing. All you ever hear about is some kind of corruption or murder. People want to see something entertaining, something bold, sometimes even risque. You'd never see sex on the news, unless it was some kind of report on sex abuse or something."
"We can't show two people having hardcore sex on TV, Alley."
"You can on prime time. You can show anything on prime time."
"Hmm..."
"Here's an example of what I'm talking about. You keep up with my stories, right? Have you ever noticed that my adult short stories get three times more attention than my non-adult ones?"
"Well, yeah, but...I guess I hadn't put much thought into it."
"Like I said, sex sells. Your problem is that people've lost interest in the news. Every news agency has that problem, now. But if you get something or someone that a lot of people care about, that a lot of people are interested in, and you advertise the hell out of it with promotions, people will watch it. Doesn't matter what it is." Alley licked Aiden's nose. "Tons of people are interested in celebrities these days; they're always wanting to know what we're up to. I get so many questions asking about when my next book is gonna come out, or the next big thing I'm gonna do. Because people are interested. And that's what you need to be catering to. Besides, who wouldn't someone wanna see a hot fox like you getting boned by a sexy fox like me? That's what I call Fox News." He grinned. "My fans, alone, would go crazy over that."
Aiden giggled and kissed Alley's nose. "You really aren't kidding."
Alley shook his head. "Not at all. People want to see interviews with celebrities. And if you show something way out of left field, like Alley Robin boning this gorgeous reporter..." He paused to squeeze Aiden's testicles, causing the swift fox to gasp slightly with a smile. "It'll blow people's minds. Just air it on prime time, and that way, nobody's allowed to complain when two sexy foxes start getting hot and heavy."
"I'm getting hot just thinking about it." Aiden wiggled his rump again, moaning eagerly as they shared another kiss.
"Just think how many people would get hot watching it." The silver fox wagged.
"Might even convince my producer to finally give me my own segment."
"I'd like to see that." Alley smiled. "Just promise me one thing."
"What's that?"
"I want to see you interview Nathan Taylor. And you better fuck his brains out."
A soft sigh poured through Brett's lips as he squeezed his paws together with an expression that coloured his face in a less-than-positive light.
"So, what did you think?"
"I...don't even know what to think. I was hoping to be blown away..."
"And were you?"
"Yes!" He nodded vigorously, biting his lip.
Aiden grinned. "I told you I'd make it fantastic."
"That was damn near the hottest thing I've ever seen."
The fox chuckled and wagged enthusiastically.
"But tell me something. How the fuck am I supposed to air this?" And there it was, just like Aiden had been expecting.
"Prime time," he said simply. "You can air anything on prime time, and that way, people can't complain. You know how many people would tune in just to see an interview with Alley Robin? This is why we chose him in the first place, because we knew he'd draw massive attraction. And Seeing sexy Alley bone cute, little Aiden is gonna drive people wild." Aiden sat triumphantly on his producer's desk. "The one universal truth of the world is that sex sells. Period. Maybe we could use that to boost our ratings. This is Canada, Brett. We live in Toronto; we can afford to be as edgy or risque as we want. "
The coyote sighed again and shook his head.
"You can't argue with that logic."
"I suppose not..." Brett threw his paws in the air. "Alright, fine, you can have your segment."
Aiden's ears perked, accompanied by a bright smile on his muzzle. "Thank you so much."
"Sure. One other thing, though...what about management? What are they going to say when they see this interview?"
"You're the producer, convince them. Work your charm on them. Or if you can't, I will."
"And how are you going to do that?"
Aiden grinned widely and stroked the coyote's muzzle. "You know how often the average male canine thinks about sex?"
