The first story i have written in a while, and ongoing I might add. Added a fantasy/modern flare to it, and hope you all will enjoy.

Fallen Chapter one

"What a fucking fantastic start to a day." I groaned as I felt the first of many raindrops hit my muzzle.

When I got the assignment to come down to earth, I didn't expect to be dropped off in the middle of a storm. The sky rumbled with muffled thunder claps, and my phone went off at the exact same time.

"Hello?" I asked.

The voice I heard came not from my phone, but inside my head, which was the way SHE communicated with us. The language we normally spoke was different from what earth dwellers spoke, and putting it into written form was near impossible.

"Yeah, I'm here, you dropped me off in the fucking rain!"

I heard faint, angelic laugh echo in my head before SHE spoke again.

"Fine, I'll look around, how do you expect me to live with these... people?" I grumbled while furrowing at my eyes.

More laughing, and then what felt like a pat on the back.

"Well I cant argue with that, I'll try to find a place to live while I search, call later." I hung up and sighed, SHE really was the greatest guilt tripper.

My back pocket felt suddenly heavier, and I reached back to pull out a slick black wallet that was strangely very thick. I opened it carefully and saw a large wad of green paper.

"THIS is what these people use for currency, its just colored paper!" I stated while lifting one out gingerly with my fingers. I stuck my tongue out at it and sighed, pushing the bill into my pocket. This would be harder than thought. I saw a smaller collie boy, with wide blue eyes as he stared at me.

Why would a child be out in such weather? Surely this wasn't normal behavior. I quickly shook the strange disturbing feeling in my gut and looked back at the child, perhaps he was meant to be there.

"Excuse me child, do you know where I can find an inn, or a place to stay? If you show me I'll..." I stopped for a second and drew a bill from the wallet, it had a one and two zeroes afterward so it must have been a medial amount.

"I'll give you this if you show me."

His eyes went wide like saucers and he snatched the bill from my grasp.

"Follow me mister!" he yelled joyously before running in a blur of golden and white fur.

I sprinted after him, noting the weight of my new body and the sensation of the wind, I had never been sent to earth in a mortal form, so every sensation, every...emotion was a new experience.

We ran along until he stopped at a very tall building, with Victorian pillars and gold trim along the walls.

"Seems...a little lavish don't you think?" I asked the child, who stared at me like I was shining or something.

"Is this place like heaven Mr. Angel?" He asked in a squeak.

"What? How did you?"

He smiled and pointed a finger, the hand still grasping the bill, at my head with a shining face.

"your halo..."

I gasped and looked up, hands reaching for my halo, only to find nothing.

"Right... children are pure souls." I sighed, patting the scruffy youth on the head.

"This is our little secret all right?"

He giggled and wagged his tail.

"Can I buy my ponies?" he said with a sudden gusto I did not expect in a child.

"A pony? But aren't you a boy?"

He frowned and shook his head before stomping his foot.

"Shun the non-brony, shun!"

I stuck my tongue out as he ran off, and noticed that sometime from the alley I appeared in and the hotel the rain had stopped, and the sun began to pierce the clouded horizon.

"Huh, I guess this wont be so bad." I acknowledged HER.

A soft humming like "I told you so" echoed in my head, and I couldn't help but smile.

"I'll get a room so we can talk, I have questions I want to ask before pursuing the target."

I noticed that SHE didn't reply, and shrugged as I strolled into the hotel, marveling at the white entry room and the chandelier that hung from the ceiling. A lavish hotel like this must be meant for those of high society, or at least for those of great importance. A lone Zebra clerk in a black suit stood behind a white box, looking from me to the box over and over.

"Can I be of assistance sir?" He inquired.

"Yes, how much... currency does it cost to live here?" I asked, still missing the necessary knowledge to know what the paper was called.

He raised an eyebrow and furrowed at his slicked back mane before looking at me again.

"Depends how long and which suite you wish to stay in."

I wondered how long my mission would take, and shrugged as he eyed me.

"I'm not certain, I have a...job to do that may take some time. And any room with a view over the city would do."

He looked down at the box and hit a strange looking board with letters on it before sniffing dramatically. Apparently something about my appearance was unsettling him. I looked down and noticed for the first time what garb I was sent in. I was wearing black pants with brown shoes, and a simple white shirt and a black coat, made from what appeared to be a smooth, skin like fabric.

"we have a suite available for $350.00 a night, is that too much?" He replied with a snide grin. His golden eyes were filled with malice, and I felt a heat rise from my stomach with a new, more dark emotion I had never felt before.

"How many nights will THIS cover?" I stated while slapping the large wad of bills onto the desk.

He greedily counted the money before turning pale, then looked back to me with a cheep grin.

"My deepest, DEEPEST apologies sir, will you require anything else during your first nights stay?"

I chuckled and snatched the keys from his hand, and glared at him before saying,

"Next time I want someone else to talk to about a room."

He gulped and I noted he had begun to sweat.

"Anything sir, have a pleasant stay here at Gale Vestry."

I walked briskly towards the stairs and looked at the key, which was gold with an engraved 9-1A on the flat of it. Were there really 9 floors to climb?

"Requesting permission to use my first power." I whispered before checking to make sure no one was around.

I felt a rush of power echo through my body, and I released the first seal on my mortal form. The room suddenly became brighter as my wings unfurled from the parallel dimension they were stored in. to any mortal I would just be hovering over the ground, but to any OTHER force they would see the white and blue feathered wings unfurl from my coat while I lifted myself off the ground and rose through the center space between the stairs.

I quietly landed on the ninth floor and looked around before sealing my wings back. The coast appeared clear, and I sighed with relief as I continued down the halls decorated with vases and paintings.

"You should work on your entrances seraphim." came a voice like a river and light as clouds behind me.

I quickly pivoted and raised my hands in defense and stopped at the sight of the speaker. The slender muzzle bore a striking pattern of black markings like a tribal crown up to her eyes, and descended down her torso in a streak that branched off like a tree across her breasts. Her long auburn hair fell like a cascade around her shoulders, and down to her very well defined breasts, barely held back by the dress that cut dangerously low to her navel. The dress, black sans a few bright blue star formations, fell short of her ankles, revealing bare feet that padded softer than a falling snow as she approached me.

The golden eyes, however, gave her away immediately.

"Alexandra, what are you doing here? Last I heard you had cast aside your halo and rebuked your immortality."

She laughed, a laugh that would enthrall the most righteous of men. In heaven she was one of the purest of souls, but this form she had taken... caused a stirring I never had before. I wanted to do things to her I would have never thought of.

"what Arcadian? Fallen got your tongue?" she said while leaning down to nuzzle my nose with hers. She easily stood five inches taller than me.

"I see SHE hasn't told you about the perks and downsides of being mortal yet, I wont spoil it for you."

"I don't understand." I meekly replied, questions rushing through my mind.

She smiled again and placed a hand on her hip before shaking her head.

"you will, there are things mortals experience that seraphim can never understand, believe me, you'll find that out yourself."

She leaned forward again and traced a soft kiss below my lips, before winking and walking towards a small compartment with sliding golden doors.

"Next time take the elevator. And tell HER I said hello" she whispered.

"Kay..."

I was frozen, and noticed my pants had suddenly tightened. Another thing that I didn't understand.

I walked back to a large white door and slipped the key in the lock, and wondered if the creator had been listening to the conversation. I opened the door and stepped into a huge room, lined with large couches and ebony rugs with gold inlay, the window spanned the length of the wall, and overlooked the bright neon city. In a city so large, how would I find the one? I walked to the master bedroom and sat cross legged on the bed, placing my hands open palmed on my knees and focusing my thoughts.

I silently whispered a sacred prayer in the angelic tongue before calling out the creators true name.

"Elya, hear my whisper."

Suddenly I felt like the room had absorbed a hurricane, for a wind whipped my soul around before resting somewhere much more humid and warm than the room. I opened my eyes and saw three moons circling each other over a crystal blue ocean, the golden sand beneath me getting into my toes as I stood. I saw I had my garb replaced with typical seraphim wear, a white tunic and matching white silk pants . My wings stretched in the new world, popping with satisfaction.

"Hello Arcadian..." boomed a voice that personified all aspects of thought and speech.

"Elya, where are you?" I asked, looking back and around me for her.

A blue light manifested in front of me before changing into the form of a beautiful vixen, clad in white silken sheets that floated around in the wind. With a soft face that was the definition of perfection, and eyes as white as the stars, Elya was without a doubt, the perfect deity. Her white fur was not marred at all, soft blue trails of angelic energies snaking around her legs and her arms. The white hair on her elongated head moved like water as she cocked her head to the side with a grin.

"I forget you now possess the emotions of a mortal, tell me, what is it you feel now?" she whispered, clasping her hands over mine in a common seraphim greeting.

My eyes wandered to her voluptuous breasts, free but still censored by the silk.

"I... I cant explain it. as the creator, you are perfect, but I feel a need stronger than anything I have ever felt, what is this?" I pleaded, releasing my hands from hers.

She laughed, a laugh like thousands of glass bells. Her smile was soft and forgiving, and she shook her head like a mother unbelieving of her child's actions.

"It is the emotion of lust, a primal sense mortals have had since their beginning. You wish to do what one calls intercourse, which is quite common down on earth."

"Should I be having these...urges?" I asked half-embarrassed.

"Yes, it is encouraged there. I cant help but feel guilty in the torture you must be enduring."

"Guilty? Elya why would you say that?"

She held my hand and began to walk down the golden beach, not speaking as the moons began to descend lower and lower.

"Mortal creatures were born within my image, and from my consciousness came emotion, I created the seraphim to right my wrong, and created you all devoid of emotion, of need." She stopped and waved a hand over the ocean, and the water began to glow with a bright blue light.

"But upon the birth of the seraphim I realized it was a mistake to take emotion away. Mortals make mistakes, and that creates wisdom, chance encounters can become something... great. A great romance happens almost everyday in the mortal world, but never for my seraphim."

I looked at her and found another new emotion.

"I feel... pity." I said amazed.

"Very good Arcadian. You are starting to absorb the knowledge around you. This is a good sign." she giggled.

I suddenly realized the value of mortal currency and raised my hand to the sky.

"I gave that kid a hundred fucking dollars!!!"

Elya shook her head with a grin and patted me on the back.

"It's ok, he got all the ponies he wanted in the end."

I grumbled and looked back to her. She was beautiful, but I also knew she was more powerful than any other creature in the universe. She was omnipotent, and interested in something called the internet.

"Who am I looking for?" I finally asked. I had wondered from the moment she sent me to earth.

She smiled softly and poked me in the chest.

"I cant tell you, this is a journey you, the first of hopefully many seraphim, will endure. I want seraphim to understand emotion, and that is only achieved by finding the purest and most powerful of emotions."

"and what emotion is that?" I teased while stepping closer, so that I could feel her breath on my chest..

She raised and eyebrow and stepped back.

"Are you hitting on me Arcadian?"

I was suddenly horrified by the realization that I was indeed hitting on my creator.

"I am so sorry, I cant control this... this lust." I said while taking a step back.

"well I'm not offended my dear seraphim. I did create the emotion remember?" she said coyly.

"But all... wondering aside..." she said with a pause, looking me over with a grin.

"Elya? Are you alright?"

She looked back at me and locked eye contact. I felt the rush of lust erupt with a fire hotter than the sun itself.

"Calm your mind Arcadian, those thoughts are indeed flattering, but best saved for another time." she whispered, shivering as she reached out and touched my mind.

I quelled the fire and looked back to the glowing expanse of water.

"What emotion?"

She put a finger on my chest and pushed me back, and I fell into the water.

"Love Arcadian, you must find love."

The water enveloped me and I felt like I was falling, faster and faster before landing in the room where my mortal body laid.

I bolted upright and looked myself over before sighing with relief.

"Now do you understand Arc?"

"What the hell!?" I screamed while looking to my side, only to see Alexandra sitting in the chair near my bed.

Her eyes were now more focused, almost cold.

"Do you understand why I cast aside the halo?"

I looked at her and shook my head.

"Alexandra... It's only my first day being mortal. I have a lot to think about. But, why did you give up immortality?"

She stood up and leaned onto the bed, coming within inches of my face. The view down her dress caused me instinctively pull the blankets over my pants, hiding the very noticeable bulge on my crotch.

"Silly seraphim, you can taste the pleasures of the flesh now. Both figuratively." she began before locking lips with mine.

The feeling, the sheer contact was indescribable. Her lisp were on mine, kissing me with growing ferocity. I felt her long tongue enter my mouth and trace over my own before leaving. She leaned back and sighed with contentment before waving a finger at me.

"And literally. I found someone that makes me feel like Elya herself. Or as close to that as I will ever get."

I was still dazed from the kiss, and noticed my pants were warm and wet.

"you found love?"

She paused and looked up thoughtfully before nodding her head slowly.

"Yes seraphim, I found love."

I smiled and looked out the window of my bedroom over the city.

"Elya said there is someone out there for me, one that I will love. And tomorrow, I aim to find her."

Alexandra stood and straightened her dress, looking at me while stifling a laugh.

"Please get some new pants before venturing out."

I looked down and saw the wet spot on my pants, and realized what had taken place.

"Why cant I understand this stuff when it matters?" I muttered, lowering my ears in shame.

"Oh don't worry my little seraphim, if I can make you cum by merely kissing you, think of what will take place when you find your mate."

And with that last comment she walked out of the room and back to the elevator.

"Come by later this week and I will introduce you to my mate."

I nodded my head and waved goodbye, before falling on my bed and closing my eyes. My phone rang and I immediately picked it up and brought it to my ear.

"She is quite the kisser isn't she?" Elya asked with a laugh.

"Yeah she... wait how would you know?"

The phone disconnected while she laughed.

"Well, tomorrow I start my search."
