Terry spent hours in the observation dome as he watched different creatures swim by the dome. He enjoyed the singing of the songfish which were amplified by the dome's speakers. Terry happily accepted the device before he gave it a test. It took Terry a little time to get use to the control in the back but once he found it was a rolling ball instead of a button, it made things a lot easier. "Thanks!"

Terry said before the feline opened the panel up and pressed a few buttons. One by one, the lights outside of the dome went out. Once the exterior lights were down, the interior lights went out, first the overhead lights, then the dome's lower lights and finally the lights that lead up underneath the seats. "Let your eyes get use to the darkness." The feline said as he walked up behind Terry and stood close. Terry's ears flicked around at every little noise in the room, from the slight motions of the cheetah behind him, the feline's breathing, the singing of the songfish and there it was... a glimmer of light. "What was that?!" Terry said as he looked more intently out there. "Shhhh... watch the light show." The cheetah said in a soothing voice before there was another flash of light off into the distance and the one right up close to the glass which made Terry's head jerk back and thud against the cheetah's chest. "Oh... sorry! It was right there!" Terry felt the material covered paw of the cheetah pat him softly on the head. "It's ok. Keep watching."

Terry was astonished as pinks, blues, greens and purples started pulsing in the darkness and then a massive stream of luminous green lit up and streaked across the area in the mid distance. "What is it?" Terry asked as the paw moved from his head to his shoulder. The taller cheetah leaned his muzzle down and whispered. "At this depth, we found that there is a lot of bioluminescence from the different sea creatures here. Even microscopic creatures react to the mere movement of the water like if one of the fish swam by, leaving trails of light behind." Terry perked up as he saw a jellyfish that was all lit up with pinks and purples gliding by before a few smaller jelly like creatures passed in a chain before him. Then a massive wash of greens as he could only assume that a fish the size of the songfish swam by the duraglass dome. "It's... beautiful... Absolutely beautiful." The fox said as he smiled to ear to ear before the cheetah patted him on the shoulder and took a few steps back to find a seat. "I use to sleep in the observation domes. Just watching this before closing my eyes... the sounds of the songfish and the whales just lulling me into a deep sleep."

Terry stayed near the glass to see if he can make out any other creatures before he heard the sound of rattling plastic and then something being torn open. The room had the smell of nuts, honey and chocolate before the rattling got a little louder... "What are you doing?" Terry asked curiously before he walked in the dark towards the cheetah before his stomach growled. "Ahhh you're a little hungry too I take it." The cheetah chuckled a bit before he watched the fox, who had his arms outstretched, walk towards him. He broke off a piece of his candy bar and held it before the fox's face. Once Terry's lips brushed against the offered object, he opened his maw and took it into his muzzle. The chocolate started to melt along his tongue and the coarseness of the nuts were held together by a mixture of honey and sugar. He gave it chew before he reached down to find an empty space next to the cheetah... "Thanks" He said with his mouthful before he swallowed. "No problem at all." The feline responded before he was offered another bite which he happily accepted. "So, what's your name?" Terry asked as he tried to hand back the laser projector but the cheetah wouldn't take it back. "Rexus... and keep it. We have a lot of them on the station, they aren't going to miss one." He said with a smirk before Terry put it in his pocket... "Thank you Rexus... I'm Terry."

Rexus nodded in the dark before he took another bite of his candy bar... "So what made you want to be a Weekend Explorer?" Terry couldn't very well tell Rexus the truth... though the fox thought it would be awesome to share his story so far. "I've always found the ocean to be a mysterious place, filled with creatures I would never see... and now you've shown me a whole new world." Rexus listened and smiled softly before he wrapped his arm around Terry's shoulders and gave him a firm hug to his side. "That's why I'm here. I enjoy this part of our planet more than anyone else... it's too beautiful not to share it with people like you who come here to explore." Terry wrapped his arm around Rexus's waist and gave him a hug back. "I'm just glad I was at the right time and right place to meet you then." Rexus laughed softly before the two sat there in silence except to point out various things they saw, sitting alone in the dark together.

Trellis yawned softly as he scratched his chin, still rather drowsy from his nap. The young white lion rolled to his side and checked the time to make sure he didn't have to get up immediately and rush out the door. He took his time, combing through his mane before he looked over the edge of his bunk to see the large Tiger resting on his back with a sly grin, the lion slipped off the bunk quietly and pressed a button on the wall to open a long panel that blended in flawlessly with the wall. He did his best to keep from making too much noise before he found his holographic imager and his stand for it. Silently, he set it up right in front of the bunk and after a short boot up time, he was ready to take a few images of the sleeping Tiger. The lens of the imager slowly rolled forward and lines of green lasers emitted from the curved clear dome on the front. The beams swept over the Timelord's form, taking in all the data before the Tiger stirred. Arsen waved his paw in return before he looked around the room and saw the holographic projector. "Primitive" Arsen said with a bit of a chuckle before he flicked the device on and saw just what they were hiding from him. "Well that cheeky little lion!" Arsen said as he looked at the detail of the projected picture. He pulled his sonic screwdriver out before giving it a quick scan and then a flick of his wrist, he reprogrammed the projector to produce a higher resolution image. He looked around the room before he found the buttons on the wall... with another buzz from his sonic, all the doors opened and he found the holographic imager. With a broad smile, he set it up and decided to leave Trellis a present for when he came back.

After a few minutes, the Tiger made the new recording and left it for Trellis to find... of course, he took a copy of all the recordings with him. He roamed the hallway before hitting the main corridor to look for Terry. He searched each of the observation domes before finding him with Rexus in the last dome he looked in. Terry squinted his eyes as the light from the hallway seemed a little too bright before the door closed behind Arsen. "Oh! Hello Reaper." Terry perked up as Rexus's arm slipped from Terry's shoulder thinking that the Tiger was Terry's mate. "Well... I should get going." Rexus said as he stood up rather quickly to head off before he tried to pass Arsen who held his paw against the cheetah's chest. "It's ok. You're more than welcome to stay." Rexus felt a bit relieved that there wasn't going to be an incident before he looked back to Terry with a smile. "It was a pleasure meeting you Terry. But I really should get some sleep before my next shift." Terry sank a bit into his seat before he nodded in understanding. "Ok. Thank you for the gift and... showing me lights!" The cheeath perked up and puffed his chest out proudly, "Always a pleasure to meet another nature lover." He said before he reached in his pocket and pulled out another candy bar and with a toss, he threw it to Terry. "Catch!" Terry's paws quickly came together against his chest before he caught it and smiled... "You're too sweet!" Rexus blushed a bit as he walked out.

"Just another beautiful place..." Terry said with a soft sigh as Arsen walked up next to the fox who was looking at the light show. "Glad you're enjoying yourself... It's definitely a place with some fun individuals and beautiful sights." Arsen said as Terry looked up above them to see another luminous trail of green light. "Just makes me wish I could come back and visit them but knowing that once I leave, I might never come back." Arsen looked up too before he gave a bit of a smile. "Yeah but would you rather be stuck in a time and place constantly feeling like you didn't belong, dreaming of places like this... Or out amongst the stars as we are now, visiting them for real?" Terry didn't hesitate for a moment. "Traveling amongst the stars. Definitely knowing places like this exist instead of dreaming and never seeing them." Terry reached his paw out and placed it on top of Arsen's thigh before the Tiger placed his warm larger paw on top of Terry's... giving it a firm squeeze. "Shall we go?" He said before Terry huffed silently. "How can you just leave people behind... knowing that you made a friend or even worse, a lover in someone and just up and go?" Arsen stood up and gently pulled on Terry's paw. "I tell m'self that I might come back someday and see them again. I do have all the time in the universe." He said with a soft grin before Terry stood up and thought... "Would you visit me again, when our journey is over?" Arsen patted the fox on the back before they started to walk together out into the hallway. "Of course." Arsen said to reassure the fox. "I would like that." Terry said with a smile.

Terry and Arsen walked silently down the main corridor before they made it into the landing bay where the Tardis was stored. As the doors swung open, Terry stepped inside before Arsen went to follow him in. "Wait!" A female voice shouted as Arsen turned to look behind him to see Renna standing there with Trellis trailing behind her. "Not going to say goodbye?" She said in a huff before Arsen shook his head. "Goodbye is too final... How about... Until we meet again?" Renna wrapped her arms around the Arsen's head and kissed him fully. Her lips pressed against the Tiger's as their whiskers mingled. Arsen's eyes grew wider for a moment as Renna's eyes closed. Her tongue greeted the Tiger's lips before he opened his muzzle just a little bit to let it slip inside his maw. A strange wind swept through the landing bay as the Tardis started to dematerialize and fade from view.

Trellis and Renna stood there, unsure of what they saw but hopeful for the return of the Tiger. It wasn't until Trellis got off of shift hours later that he sat down to find the projector had one unseen video on it. "Video?" He thought to himself as he fiddled with the machine. "This thing didn't have video before. What in the deep happened here." With a flick of a button, a high resolution hologram showed in front of him of Arsen sitting on the edge of the bunk bed with his paw wrapped firmly around the thick base of his cock. Arsen said nonchalantly before pulled down a second monitor filled with Gallifreyian text. His fingers flew across the monitor's surface which made a soft tone with every press. "There we go, the communication circuits have been linked to Ralph's timeline. Give it a shot." Terry looked at the device which had a hand held part to it and a keypad with numbers and letters on it. He picked up the reciever and held it to his ear before he started to dial... He heard the familiar tones of his communication unit and with the final press of the last digit, a little ball on the end of a flexible pole jutted out and an eye looked at him. "What the hell is that?!" Terry nearly jumped before the iris adjusted and the picture of Terry showed up on the monitor below. "Oh! Damn that scared me." He laughed before he flicked the camera. "Hello? Who is this?" Terry heard over the receiver. "Ralph! It's me! Terry!"

A loud thud was heard before the picture changed from Terry's face to Ralph's face. "No way! The communicator just said "Out of State Caller" Didn't think it meant from space of wherever the hell you are!" He laughed before he turned on the lights in his bedroom. Terry watched the communicator bounce across the room a bit before he apologized, realizing it was late there. "Sorry! I didn't know you were in bed!" He looked at Arsen and grumped. "You'd think a Timelord would be able to call someone who was NOT sleeping." He laughed as Arsen shrugged and said, "Just be happy you can talk to him... Sometimes getting times of day right is a bitch." Ralph perked up and sat up in bed before a grin spread across his chubby cheeks. "So! You guys have been gone for over a month now... What have you two been up to?" Terry blinked for a moment as he thought that Arsen would have contacted Ralph shortly after they left. "It's been... a month?" He asked before Ralph nodded on the view screen. "Yeah. Thought I would never hear from you again... But that doesn't matter. The club had gotten a lot more people in since you left. After yours truly told a few people that an alien took you away to show you the universe through his eyes... I actually wrote a journal about it and people loved the idea!" He laughed before Terry slapped his forehead and drug his paw across his muzzle... "Oh dear... Well... We went to a place with furless people in it... saw actual stone buildings and ate food that wasn't premade by the food machines on Trataria." Ralph started to drool a bit before he wiped his muzzle with the back of his paw. "Sounds delicious already." He laughed before Terry continued. "Went to a pleasure moon... had, erm..." He tried to find the right words before Arsen blurted out. "Lots of sex with a husky and wolves." Ralph's eyes grew wider at that. "Oh man... sex with aliens! I never thought of that... And you should have told me you were interesting in wolves." The wolf laughed before he shook his head. "Not that you'd be interested in a chubby one."

Terry had a lump in his throat before he looked at Ralph through the screen. "I thought you were cute, being a little chubby and all... it suited you." He said as he started to regret not having acted on previous feelings for Ralph. After a moment of awkward silence, Ralph spoke up. "Well, it's good to know that you thought of me that way... makes me feel better about myself." The wolf lift his head higher before he playfully stuck his tongue out at Terry. "So anything else?" Terry nodded a bit. "We were just at an under the sea research facility and saw some really beautiful things." Ralph chuckled before he balanced his communicator on his stomach, providing Terry a view of Ralph's chubby chest and face. "Well, I'm jealous to say the least." He said as he reached over and grabbed the time traveler book. "This hasn't left my sight since you left it for me. I don't think I could ever part with it now." Ralph gruffed as he flipped through the pages smell the paper. "Good... something to remember me by." Terry said as the guilt was a little overwhelming that his friend was left behind. "Well, I'm going to get back to sleep Terry..." Ralph smiled as he knew things were a little awkward now. "Ralph..." Terry sighed before the wolf's ears perked up. "Yeah?" Terry touched the screen as he bumped the camera with his nose. "Miss you." The wolf returned the gesture, bumping the camera with his nose. "Miss you too buddy." Ralph took a moment to take a picture of his friend through a screen capture application on his communicator before he waved and disconnected the call.

The young fox lowered his head as he placed the communicator down on the console while the camera retracted. "It doesn't get any easier you know?" Terry huffed a bit before he sat down on a chair next to the railing surrounding the console. Arsen nodded a bit as he felt Terry was close to reaching his limit before he looked over to the fox and smiled. "How about... one last stop before we get you home?" Terry blinked for a moment before he nodded. "Sure... why not?" He stood up and walked away from the Timelord as Arsen inputted a few keywords into the search and plotted the course for the first place returned. "Seterris it is then!" Once the Tardis had the information it needed in place, Arsen pulled a large lever down and turned on the autopilot.
