Dogs to Wolves, part 2:Into the wild
The second part of my series is finally finished. Sorry, but no yiff this time, but you gotta love that character and plot development. Next time though there will be plenty of yiff to go around.
Dogs to Wolves, part 2:Into the wild
Axel woke up to the blinding white snow reflecting sunlight. He squinted at the light until his eyes could adjust to the brightness, in a rush that made Axel dizzy he remembered where he was and why. Axel jumped up quickly as he heard Thomas calling his name. "Huh, Axel what's wrong?" Cloe was a little scared from her rude awakening and was going to stand but felt a paw push her back down, "Don't worry Cloe, you rest here for a while until I get back. I just have to check up on some things and I'll be back." With that Axel turned towards the direction of Thomas' voice and ran to finish everything quickly.
Axel quickly found Thomas and ran through the snow to greet him, but when he saw Thomas' angry expression his tail went down (but not between his legs) and he sat and awaited what he knew was going to be a scolding. "Axel I've been looking all over for you!! Where have you been all night long?! Well I hope you had fun because your gonna be stuck inside when I get back from school." As Thomas left Axel went in the opposite direction to check and see if there is any important news or problems that need solving.
When he finally finished checking everything he had heard some definite wolf sightings so he decided that he would confront the wolf when he saw it. Axel was in a hurry to get back to Cloe so he decided to take a short cut through the snow covered woods.

Cloe was just resting and waiting for Axel to return as he said he would, when she heard the crunching of snow. She stood to greet Axel but she realized it wasn't him but instead it was Dag, she sat down on her haunches as Dag rounded the corner. "Hello Cloe, it took me a while to find you, where..." Dag took in a deep breath of the air "Oh, I see you and Axel had a bit of fun hmmm?" Cloe started to blush as she remembered the previous night's activities, folding her ears back to hide them as they turned crimson. "Why Axel, he's so soft. You should have come to me instead if you were in heat." he said as he started walking towards her again. Cloe, still sitting, got nervous and stood, "I have always loved Axel and he has always loved me but we haven't expressed our feelings toward each other until last night, so I like the way things turned out. Besides, you're not my type Dag."."Oh I'm not your type am I? Well I think that will change once you get to know me better." Dag was still treading closer through the snow, until Cloe could not only see but feel Dag's breath on her muzzle, "Cloe, I want you to be by my side for the rest of my life" Dag made a move to lick Cloe's snout but she quickly moved backwards out of his reach.
"Stop Dag, me and Axel are mates now, go find someone else."
"NO! You're wrong, you see, I want you and I always get what I want."
"Not this time and I already told you why." Cloe growled
"Is that what you think."
Dag started advancing on her again with a lustful look in his eye that made Cloe start to back up. Cloe quickly ran out of space and bumped into a tree with Dag blocking the only exit. She bared her teeth and growled at him, her neck fur bristling and her legs stiff ready for attack. Dag didn't so much as blink at her, being a male setter he was even slightly taller than Axel, he quickly bowled Cloe over and pinned her with her belly to the snow in one smooth motion. Dag repositioned himself so that he was successfully mounted on her and waited as his sheath grew. Cloe was quickly aware of his plans and tried to throw him off, "NO!STOP!" Cloe screamed as she continued to struggle against him but the difference in strength and weight was too great.

Meanwhile, Axel was heading towards the place were he left Cloe, through the forest when he smelled something he has never smelled before. The smell was wild and yet it smelled of something else too he jus wasn't sure what it was. Then Axel remembered about the wolf sighting so he slowed down as the scent got stronger and got ready to ward off an attack. Sure enough a wolf appeared from behind a tree. The wolf was pure white like him and had blue eyes that shone brightly, this wolf was very well muscled from living in the wild, but the most obvious and noticeable fact about this wolf was that she was in heat.
"You can calm down Axel, I have no intention of hurting you or anyone else."
"How do you know my name and what exactly is it that you want?"
"My name is Lupin and I have come to ask you a question"
"You came all the way here to ask me a question?"
"Well, yes and no. You see I came here to ask all the dogs if they would come back with me to my pack with me. My pack grows small and we need more wolves to help."
"Okay, I can do that but..." Axel was cut off by Lupin as she started to speak
"There is a human near-by I should go, humans don't like wolves very much."
"Right, I'll tell the other dogs about your offer."
Axel and Lupin parted ways and were out of each others sight in a matter of seconds. After standing in front of Lupin for so long and smelling her heat the whole time he started to get aroused, despite the fact that he tried to push it out of his mind. Axel hadn't gone far when he suddenly heard a loud "BANG!" followed immediately by a glass shattering yelp. Axel raced back to where he saw Lupin headed only to find her laying at the mercy of the human that shot her, Thomas's father. Axel quickly ran at the man disarming him by taking the rifle while he was still in shock and tossed it away as he started to charge again tackling the man to the ground and baring his teeth. Axel was growling deeply at Thomas's father when he heard Thomas, "AXEL! Back off, and let us catch that wolf!" Axel left Thomas's dad alone but went to Lupin and helped her up, "C'mon we need to find a place to lay low for a while." Axel said as he helped her to her feet and got a better view of her wound. The bullet went strait through her right front leg and blood was dripping to the contrasting white snow. Axel went around behind Lupin and crawled under her back legs (which intensified the smell of her heat, but now was not the time or place) until his head was under hers, and stood up so she was comfortably on his back. "Hey! I don't need your help, you dog I..." Axel cut her off before she could finish "NOT NOW!" He hastily jumped into the forest and out of sight so he could get away with Lupin on his back. As Axel was leaving he heard Thomas shout, "Axel, get back here!"
Axel finally found the tree he was looking for, it was a giant tree with a hole under the roots on the side of a slope with a stream near-by, hidden away from preying eyes.
"You stay here and get some rest while I go get some food."
"Fine. But none of that stuff you dogs eat I need meat not pellets." Lupin said while resting her head on her paws.
"Alright I'll be back as soon as I can."
Before he went all the way back to the house to try and find food he wanted to go get Cloe so he changed course a little and the clearing was in view very quickly. He stopped as he got closer and noticed that Dag's scent was there, he was wondering why Dag was here and how he even found the place when he heard Cloe scream, "NO!STOP!" Axel broke into a run and saw Dag on top of Cloe with his cock slowly sliding out of his sheath. "Daaaaaag!" Axel screamed as he ran strait into the setter, sending him flying off of Cloe with a yelp. "Dag I'm going rip you to shreds!"Axel's eye's turned completely black but Dag failed to notice this and stood to shake himself off, "Yeah and the sky is purple" Dag shot back. Axel ran and jumped at him but Dag dodged and he bit into Axel's shoulder leaving deep gashes and red stained fur. Axel spun around with amazing speed and grabbed Dag's neck-fur, swinging him into the tree with enough force that leaves fell and even Cloe could feel the vibrations, Dag didn't even have time to scream as he hit the ground unconscious. Axel was on top of him as soon as he hit the ground with his jaw pressed firmly around Dag's neck about to give the final blow but a soft voice stopped him, "Axel, please stop". Axel was motionless for a while but his love for Cloe won and he backed away next to Cloe with his eyes back to normal again. The setting sun dragging the shadows across the ground.
"Why? Why did you...he almost...and you just. Why?"
"What he did was wrong and I am angry with him as well but he doesn't deserve to die."
"But what if I wasn't here then he would have..."
"Even if he did taking his life would be too big a punishment."
"You are way too nice, but maybe you're right."
"Don't you like it when I'm nice?" Cloe made a fake pouting face then couldn't hold back a giggle
"Very funny. OH! I have to...Come with me."
Axel broke into a run towards his home with Cloe hard on his tail. When Axel stopped he was panting hard, his white clouds of breath easily visible in the night, and standing in front of his house. He asked Cloe to wait while he went inside and he went in to try and find food for Lupin. Axel crept inside trying to be as quietly as possible so he wouldn't be found by Thomas or his parents. He went to the kitchen first to see if he could find anything there. Axel saw a bowl on the counter and as he got closer to it he could smell a strong tart smell coming from it. Sure that there wasn't anything edible in it by now he checked the bowl out of curiosity and found a reasonably large piece of meat inside it, now he had to get it out of the bowl and take it to Lupin. Axel had no other choice but to tip the bowl to the floor and take the meat from there but the dropping bowl made a loud noise that echoed through the house and probably woke anyone previously sleeping. Axel was about to walk out the door when he was grabbed by the collar, he didn't notice the person come up because his heart was thudding so loudly and he couldn't smell anything over the strange smelling meat.
Axel stopped waiting for the person to speak first "Axel, where do you think your going with that! You are in so much trouble you don't even know it yet!" Axel pulled hard at the collar but the person who seemed to be Thomas held fast and wouldn't let go. Axel just pulled harder until the collar snapped and he bolted out the door. Axel brushed his pelt against Cloe to get her to follow him as he ran past. They ran for a couple more minutes before they stopped and rested in the cool snow. "Sorry Cloe, I had to do alot to get this meat and I almost got caught. We need to give this to Lupin, But first I need to ask you a very important question. I can never go back to my home now that I've don this and I need to help Lupin get home with her injury so my question is, will you leave with me to go with Lupin and her pack?"
To be continued...
