Allyan stared at the list of names on his desk with an annoyed expression on his face. Not even the pleasantly crackling fire and the rich dinner made his mood improve in any way shape or form. The gold scaled dragon had spent his entire adult life teaching and opening the mind of eager young wizards. He had opened their thoughts to magic and taught them everything he knew. He imparted them with the knowledge of how they could improve on set spells, how they could modify what they had learned to make their own spells and how to be a success. He was the Master and head teacher of one of the largest academies in the world. Yet he was unsatisfied with his position and unsatisfied with the uppity nature that his apprentices seemed to develop in their last years.

He had just seen his latest student graduate to a master. The young man had no longer displayed any respect to him or deferred to him. At the very last trial he had been forced to deal with the uppity young man trying to explain why he believed he knew better! Allyan was growing weary of taking on new apprentices. Each time he did, it ended the same way. They walked all over him, took the knowledge he offered and turned into near egomaniacs once they believed they knew it all. He was tired of teaching, tired of watching the youngsters develop into something other then what he had hoped they would. He was tired of dealing with them all. Each time he started out he dreamed of a respectful proper young magician, and he always got young devils with ideas of being wizard-kings.

The list on his desk was two pages long and filled with names of hopefuls who wanted to be taken on his personal apprentice. They had started approaching his secretary a full week before his latest youngster had set off on his own. The word had spread throughout the Academy that he would soon be choosing another one and they had begun working themselves up into a tizzy. To be his personal apprentice meant that they would be guaranteed a spot in one of the noble houses. They would be oh so bright and eager when they interviewed with him. There would be sob stories about how they needed the position to be able to pay off their loans to the school. They would be eager to obey him and strive to impress, but that would only last so long as it took for him to pick one out. Then he would once again be forced to deal with the egotism that was bound to rear up and the cycle would start all over again.

The dragon moved his hands up to either side of his muzzle and slipped higher up to rub against the bridge of his nose. He had a headache forming while he leaned back in the plush comfortable chair. He had spent his entire life pouring everything he had into this school and all he was getting back was a headache and disappointment. Why did he keep doing this? He wanted to retire, but he wasn't old enough. Especially not with the magic that continually kept him young and virile. It would be decades before he would be allowed to step down from his position. He moved his head down to rest in the palms of his hands and tried to stop the growing headache from getting any worse. The throbbing just behind his eyes made him feel as if he were about to nauseous. It would serve these young upstarts right if he didn't choose an apprentice at all! Then he could simply make them go through whatever 'test' he wanted them to without worrying about their magical aptitude or choosing one. But the Academy required him to have an apprentice.

He gritted his teeth as the drake stifled a snarl of annoyance. The way this was going, he was going to end up going grey scaled! If only he could have just one year where he didn't have to feel like he was pulling teeth to get his apprentice to do some real work. If only he could do what he wanted to do with them! If he tried, they'd go running to every master in the school telling them what had happened though. That was the last thing he needed! It was hard enough to get them to keep their mouths shut about their magical education, why would they keep their mouths shut if he started doing what he wanted? He froze as he started the last thought and dropped his hands down towards his desk. The only reason his apprentices ran amok was because they felt once they had been accepted as his apprentice that they were made wizards. That made them relax and feel as if they couldn't have anything happen to them.

The fact his first discussion with them that had to do with what was expected of them and he immediately threw them into their first lessons. They were moved into room next to his own which was luxurious and in the teacher's section of the Academy. They were allowed to have a generous allowance to ensure that he could send them on errands. They were taken from their normal classes and given one on one work with him. It was little wonder they thought that they were untouchable! What would happen if he started them off on a lower position? It was obvious that honey wasn't giving him the results he wanted, so perhaps he could and should be more harsh. He felt his headache starting to fade away as he considered exactly how he would force a youngster into a subservient position. And how to ensure that these upstarts didn't mob him the next time he sought an apprentice... Despite his headache a low rumbling laugh formed in his chest as wicked ideas started to form in his mind.

Lyon stood nervously in the crowded waiting room and tried not to fret outwardly. Every student that was in their final three years had signed up to interview with the great magician. Everyone wanted to be able to be the one chosen for the prized apprenticeship. All of them would graduate of course, but if a student was taken on by an older teacher for personal attention then it was likely they would end up a wandering magician. A wandering magician would end up trapped in near poverty and attending to small villages for a pittance. He did not want to end up in that position! He wanted to be a part of something greater. He had grown up in a small village and knew well enough what the bite of hunger felt like in his stomach. He wasn't going to end up in that position. He was going to make it and make his family proud! He had already applied with three other teachers for an apprenticeship and failed. This was one of his last chances.

Wizard Allyan was one of the heads of the Academy. It would be the most promising apprenticeship he could hope for if he could get it. The young wolf felt a wave of despair at the idea of failing. He wasn't sure he was going to be able to be the one chosen. Everyone was here! Everyone wanted that position! He wasn't that outstanding either. He was good enough, but he knew that he was middling at best. He just didn't grasp the intrinsic knowledge of magic that his fellow school mates had learned so effortlessly. He sighed softly to himself and closed his eyes in an attempt to push away his nervousness. He would just be himself and hope for the best. Allyan was supposed to be fair and his last apprentice had been one from a small village with no connections. Perhaps he preferred peasant children to the nobles that were so sure of themselves. In that case he would have to be sure to be humble.

He had grown up in a small village far away from the rest of the world. His father had scrapped for every bit of food and spare copper and often times barely had enough to feed his overly large family. When Lyon had been able to walk he had been set to work like all of his siblings. He had spent most of the years he could remember doing small chores that taxed his small body. He had strained and worked each day, even when everyone else had gotten a break. It wasn't until he was hand picked to come and learn magic that he was able to get away from it all. Even now he found himself on the outskirts of so many cliques and groups. He didn't have time to play the games others did, he didn't have time to go to the bars and play pranks. Instead he spent the time as he had as a cub, pouring through the books and working. His only hope was to get taken on as an apprentice by one of the teachers.

The pale white wolf looked around the room with bright eyes. He tried to size up his competition and figure out his chances of actually winning this prized position. He wasn't surprised to see that almost everyone from the next few years had signed up. They crowded into the room and made it feel overly small. He could see a few of the upper classmen, but instantly dismissed them. They hadn't been picked yet and they were obviously below even his knowledge. He could dismiss some of the ones that were younger than him because Allyan had yet to pick an apprentice that wasn't at least nearing the end of his stint here. In fact, most of the ones he found that could have been competition looked just a bit lower on the rungs them him. He could be wrong, but he somehow doubted that any of them would be able to look as promising as he could.

For a moment he let himself bask in the idea of being the premier Wizard's apprentice. Everyone knew that once you had the favor of someone high up that you could get away with nearly anything. They'd guide your last steps towards becoming a master, find you a well off position and you were set. He wouldn't even have to study as hard as he had been. Allyan would ensure that he was kept on his toes as he was tutored. For a moment he marveled at the idea that if he got this position he would be able to do whatever he wanted. He'd be able to relax, go to the tavern, perhaps chat up some likely looking bar maid. He leaned back against the wall as he watched the people in the room shuffling nervously. All he had to do was prove to the Wizard that he would make an excellent apprentice and then all of his worries would be taken care of. It was an enticing idea.

Allyan had never looked forward to choosing a new apprentice in his entire life at the Academy, today was different. Today he was eager to get started as he already knew how to keep those new young whelps in line. He wasn't going to choose the brightest or the most well connected, no. He was going to pick the one who would obey him. For one year he wanted nothing more than to enjoy what he had believed he would have one day. Complete and utter control over the Academy and his apprentice. It would also ensure that when. . . if . . . he graduated his student that the next batch would have heard stories of the testing. That should stop them from making a mad rush at his office door in the hopes that he would choose one of them. And in the mean time he could enjoy seeing just what they would do to become what he wanted them.

He took his time to settle himself down and settle his robes about himself before he called for the first of the long list to come into his office. He had to force himself to stop the grin from spreading to his features as he leaned back into the comfortable chair. It was going to be a very very good day. From the moment the first of the prospective apprentices walked in his mind had started to run through various scenarios that he could put them through. In the past he had always carefully measured their knowledge of magic and how they behaved. He would take them through various examples or give them puzzles to see how they beat them. Only the best would be chosen and they knew they were going to be tested, but not how he was going through testing them now. Now he was only looking for those who could prove the most obedient.

He started out slowly. It was a learning experience as he made trivial commands for them to work through. He started out with questions about their backgrounds and then would make requests. For them to fetch him water, for them to heat the cushion of his chair. He chose any number of reasonable requests before he started to make unreasonable ones. With the higher borns he was careful to build up to it oh so slowly. He didn't want them to run to their parents, but he slowly pulled them into subjugating themselves. The first got off the easiest. They would simply kiss a paw or crawl to him on hands and knees while acknowledging him as a Master of the Arts. As the afternoon wore on he began to make them do more than small humiliations. He made them display themselves to him, questioned them closely about their own sexuality and experience.

Allyan found it amusing that the latter would immediately embarrass them more then standing in front of him naked. They would stammer and try to get out of answer the question, but he would force them to answer. He found particular pleasure in the shocked embarrassment when he asked about particular positions and ways of enjoying themselves. Their habits with themselves, how often they touched themselves, when they did what did they see. All the while he punctuated it with questions of their ability to make it seem as if it were a standard interview. Yet all of them inevitably balked and bowed out of the chance to become his apprentice. As amusing as it was, none of them seemed to want it badly enough to go past that last hurtle. It was annoying, but he persisted. There would either be one here that would be perfect for his uses, or he would simply choose whichever one came closest.

Lyon peered into the darkened office with his heart pounding and his paws feeling slightly damp. He wanted to run right then and there. He didn't want to embarrass himself, but he was suddenly sure he wasn't going to get this apprenticeship. Every student that had come out had seemed to be in a hurry to get out of the room. It made him wonder just how hard the Master was. If some of the higher classmen were bolting out of the room like their tails were on fire he could only imagine the tests that he would be forced to endure. By the time his name was called his stomach was in knots as he was allowed into the office. He paused a little nervously as he saw Wizard Allyan relaxing in his chair and looking over his notes.

The Master was every inch the wizard! His scales were the color of molten gold, his horns tipped in silver and his wings formed a frame behind him. The ridge of his muzzle was stern and ended in a wisp of hair that curled nearly three inches from below his chin. The line of his brow was strong and his neck gleamed in the light like coins. Even with the heavy robe the wolf could see that he didn't possess the body of a wizard that had spent his entire life behind books. He'd spied Allyan often enough that he knew the man kept himself in shape. He was intimidating and slightly frightening as Lyon forced himself to clear his throat. To his horror it came out slightly breathy before he was able to get it under control. He had to gain an apprenticeship! He had to move up in the world! No matter what.

"Ahh, Lyon." The silver eyes looked up and then swept over the wolf's body so that he felt himself flushing slightly at the sharp assessment. "Please, come to the desk and we'll begin the interview."

"Thank you, Wizard. It has been an hon-" He started to say as he padded towards the desk only to watch one of the taloned hands make a sharp gesture.

"You will call me Master." The wizards voice was almost a purr as Lyon came to stand in front of him. He wilted at the correction.

"I'm sorry, Master, I'm honored to be here-" He stammered and tried to make his tongue obey him as the dragon leaned forward.

"Of course you are, but that is not how you apologize. Beg my forgiveness, Lyon. I do not tolerate an apprentice who is not polite."

"I beg your forgiveness, Master." Lyon tried to sound sincere as his ears burned even more. He wasn't going to get this position. He was going to end up stuck in some dirty inn with barely enough money to live on.

"Very good. Now, Lyon, let us see what you are made of, hmm?" The dragon leaned back and the golden muzzle parted in a smile. "I'm sure you'll be able to answer my questions clearly enough."

All Lyon could do was swallow and nod his head in agreement. He hoped he could. The alternative made him steel his resolve.

A white wolf. Allyan felt approval for the fine figure the young man cut. His fur was nearly snow white save for the black points at the ear and the startling green eyes. His body was muscular, but lean enough to show that he was still growing. Most of all, the paper on his desk showed that he was a charity case that the school had brought on. The wolf would likely always be paying his debt back for his learning unless he got a paw up in the world. The way the lad stammered and started to try and apologize made the dragon feel further approval. He didn't even try to stumble over the word master, instead he applied it as if he had always known it. It was the first of the new students that showed some promise and it made the dragon sit up a bit straighter.

"What sort of family did you come from?" He started off with an easy question, one that the wolf could feel comfortable with. To his surprise he could see a faint flush along the edges of the ears again.

"My father worked the ditches near the border outpost, me and the rest of my family helped as much as he could." Lyon's answer stumbled a little before he pushed on. "I'm a hard worker though! I'm able to do-"

"And how did you come here?"

Allyan gave him no chance to explain himself, instead he started to answer probing questions about the boys past and present. He didn't warm him up with wanting to display magic, instead he started to ask questions that were always followed with praise when the answer was the one he was looking for. If the wolf felt confusion he covered it well enough as he stammered through awkward questions about what girls in town he enjoyed. How often had he snuck out at night? When did he have time at the taverns? Did he never go out and if he didn't what did he do in his spare time? The blushing wolf didn't run, didn't try to back out of the conversation, instead he started to seem all the more determined as he got through each embarrassing probe. It made the dragon grow more and more smug as he decided to press harder.

"Take off your clothes. If you have answered truthfully I will know it, if you have been false, then I will know that as well." He purred the words and felt anticipation at seeing that pale furred body nude before him. Oh this would be glorious!

"Wh-what?!" Lyon didn't believe he'd heard the wizard right. He felt his mouth go dry at the command. What did it matter if he'd only been with two girls? Or that he preferred to study to touch himself?

"I want an apprentice who is able to concentrate entirely upon the task at hand. That means one that is not distracted by pleasures of the flesh." The dragon's lips peeled back in a grin that showed every one of the sharp curved teeth. "So if you are telling me truthfully then you may fit, if you are not then you can keep your clothing on and leave."

Lyon wanted to walk away. He did not want to stand naked in front of the wizard. It was humiliating! Embarrassing! He swallowed and glanced back at the door. If he left, he'd never get a chance like this again. He was telling the truth after all, he wasn't about to lie about that. He took in a shivering breath and finally moved his hands down towards his pants while closing his eyes. His future depended on this. What was wrong with a small amount of humiliation when compared to what he would gain? He fumbled and bent over as he pulled his pants down. The heat of the fire along the curve of his rump didn't match the burning sensation of his cheeks as he exposed himself. He had barely stood up when a quiet word had him pulling off his shirt as well. The office was warm, that much was true, but that was small comfort to him as he stood completely nude. He moved his hands forward to partially cover his sheath and orbs.

"Ah-ah-ah part of this is to find out how often you entertain yourself. I fear there is only one way to find out that particular answer." The dragon stood up and moved around the desk with the smile still set on him.

"Wh-what's that?" Lyon's voice cracked a little. The Wizard gave him a long look and he added hastily. "Master."

"I will simply have to find out personally. I could use magic, but you'll find out that magic should not be wasted. Move your hands aside, student."

Lyon turned his head to one side and moved his hands down away from himself. He barely had himself braced before he felt a palm pushing up and sliding right beneath the furred expanse of his orbs. He let out a sharp cry in reaction as fingers curled around them and gave a slow pull down. It was an intimate touch that he had only ever felt from one of the girls he had managed to seduce. It was invasive and probing as the fingers dug in almost painfully against the rounded testes. He sucked in a breath and whimpered it out as he found himself only inches from the golden muzzle. The bright silver eyes studied him a moment before looking down. It was a horribly intimate examination as the other hand moved to help cup his orbs.

"Well well, fuller then I would have expected." The wizard gave his head a shake, "Not at all unsatisfying."

"Can I put on my p-pants now, Master." Lyon swallowed and then let out a sharp yelp and tried to jerk back as a hand moved to grip his sheath.

"Did I say you could? I want to be sure of your honesty."

The wolf didn't know how to react. He wanted to run, but he couldn't. All he could do was watch in humiliated horror as the scaled hand pulled at his sheath. The harder it pulled the more of his tapered red flesh started to be exposed. The fingers pinched lightly at the tip until he squirmed and felt the hold massaging gently. The finger pads stroked right over his sensitive cock tip until it felt good even as he wanted to crawl into a hole. It was sensual in ways he found embarrassing. He shouldn't be feeling aroused with one of the teachers! He probably was supposed to remain unaffected by the touch, but Allyan didn't seem to care to stop. Instead the fingers wrapped right around his tip and pumped it slowly until his hips started to force outwards. His breath came out in sharp whimpering noises as he hunched forward.

Allyan was enjoying this wolf more and more. He let his fingers explore the exposed cock while he could, what was more he watched as the wolf tried to hide his reaction. The face became pained and the bottom lip was drawn in as he tried to fight what he was experiencing. That was all to the better in his mind. He wanted one that would be able to control himself somewhat, but not too much. He deliberately let his fingers work the sheath down so that he could see the lupine shaft as it pushed free of the sheath. To his amusement Lyon started to pant shallowly as he hunched forward. The movement pulled the emerging cock free from his finger tips while the green eyes looked at him desperately. He didn't look as if he were about to bolt, if anything he looked as if he were about to be tipped over the edge. And all from just the touch of his hand.

"You are strong willed. That will serve you well." The dragon rubbed his thumb right over the tapered tip as he felt the first dribbling of precum start to form. "Do you think you can obey me in all things?"

"Y-yes.. Master." The voice was strained and he watched the eyes widen slightly as his fingers gave another steady pump.

"In all things magical?"

"Y-y-y... Yes, Sir.." The voice was rougher and Allyan felt the smooth glassy shaft start to harden to the point he could move his fingers down to feel the slightly swollen base.

"And you are willing to obey the rules that apprentices before you obeyed? Without argument or question?" He gave a squeeze at the knot and was amused as the wolf lunged his hips forward again.

"Yes..please, Master.." The last words came out in a high pitched whine that sent a shiver of delight along Allyan's back. Oh yes, this one would do. This one would do just fine.

Lyon felt as if he were going to burst. He could barely catch his breath as he felt the fingers wrapping right around the most sensitive portion of his knot. His sheath was forced downwards to snug right around the base of him. He felt as if he were teetering on the edge as his precum dribbled over the tip and towards the teacher's hands. Why was the wizard doing this? What possible reason did he have? He gritted his teeth harder as he felt the fingers smoothing more of his slippery precum down around the base of his shaft. It made him arch up harder as he squeezed his eyes shut. He wasn't going to embarrass himself. Not if this was some sort of test. He could control himself, he could. He started to pant shallowly as the fingers gave another firm squeeze around his knot while stroking over his heavy orbs. What could the man possibly want from him?

"My apprentice must have absolute control. I will not have one that thinks with his loins and forgets his duties." Allyan's voice was harsh enough that the wolf forced his eyes open. "I have no use for those who cannot control themselves."

"I can control myself, sir.." He panted out harshly as he felt nearly ready to embarrass himself entirely by spraying his seed right over those scaled fingers. "Please...."

"Then you agree to all of my terms, young Lyon? And all of the honors.. and burdens that my apprentice is expected to undertake?" They were the words that he had wanted to hear since he had arrived in the office. Words he hadn't dared dream he would hear. Words offered to him like a gift! If only they weren't joined by the sudden rapid pumping of the clawed hand around his aching cock.

"YES!" He barked the word out desperate to get the hand to stop, desperate to secure that place as the Wizard's apprentice.

"Yes what?" The hand squeezed the base again and he felt the fingers wrapping right at the point below his knot and constricting to the point of painful pleasure.

"YES MASTER!" He nearly yowled the words out as he forced himself away from the edge.

As soon as the words spilled out of his lips he felt something happen. A glow illuminated just at his lower belly and he snapped his eyes open to look down in shock and some horror. He watched the golden scaled fingers trace right around the base of his cock and the constricting balls. Where they touched something glowed and solidified into a ring that suddenly clamped down on parts of him that desperately wanted to pull up tight against his body. He writhed as his hardened cock pulsed and his base started to flare open, but nothing more. His entire body felt a cheated wave of pain as his legs gave out and he dropped to the soft carpet. Nothing had felt so horrible as that moment of being denied release. Nothing had felt so painful and gut wrenching. It made his triumph spill away as he curled over his erection.

"Welcome to my service, Apprentice." The words were everything he had dreamed of, but despite that his stomach coiled in dread. What had he agreed to?!
