'He's late, he must of run into a bit of trouble or something.' Kauto said.

'Yeah maybe, but I doubt anyone could hurt him to be honest haha. Hay the announcer is calling out the first 5 competitors.' MW said as the room quietened down to here who would be going on stage first.

'Ok ladies and Gentle furs, there will be no classes this year, the results will be determined via positions after 5 rounds. The top 50 furs at the end of proceedings will advance through to the major in 2 months time. Our first 5 competitors will be as follows! Falcon, Chester, Baloo, Tai lung and Haxx.'

'Oh god, I'm first!' Falcon shouted.

'Don't worry, just do what we've been showing you, you'll do great. Go on head out there and best of luck Falc.' MW said graciously. After Falcon had finished his routine he gave the cheering crowd a bow and a kiss as he left. 'Thanks guys.' Falc said.

'Well Done Falc! How did that feel on your first outing?' Kauto asked.

'Oh yeah, I hope he does well.' Kauto said. Chester finished his routine with no faults at all and waved to the crowd as he walked off. He received the same warm applause from the competitors and was then congratulated by Kauto who managed to shake his hand without going red.

'Hey come and meet a few of my mates. This is MW.' Kauto said as he Chester shook the wolf's hand.

'And this is Falcon, he was the one who wished you luck earlier on stage.'

'It's no problem, it's my first show so I was nervous as well. How did your routine go?' Falcon asked kindly.

'It was great, I had to get used to the crowd, but they were warmly with their cheers which helped me a lot.' Chet said.

The next 20 competitors were called up in groups of five. MW, Kauto and Ring Eye's names had yet to be called out. 'Our 25th contestant is MW.' The announcer shouted as he called up the next five competitors. The four furs wished him luck as he made his way onto the stage.

'MW is very good in his routines, I expect him to do very well today.' Kauto said while nervously watching the TV screens backstage. MW's routine was smooth and clean with no mistakes and he greeted the crowd before heading off. His received a big applause backstage as he walked down the steps into the room.

'Thanks everyone.' MW said to the competitors.

'Fantastic job MW, Well Done. You've done this a lot before haven't you?' Chet said as they shook hands and warmly hugged each other.

'Thanks Chet. Haha a few times yeah.' MW said as he to began blushing. Kauto was called up next along with Ring Eye.

'Hey about that were on at the same time.' Kauto said to Ring Eye.

'Fantastic, that means I can watch you during your routine and get some last minute tips.' Ring Eye said as Kauto began looking at the floor, shuffling his hoof.

They headed up to the stage together before Kauto headed out onto the stage while waving to Ring Eye and then the crowd. 'Yeeeeesssss!!!!! Well done everybody! Kauto shouted as the backstage room erupted in cheer. 'Come on guys lets smash this lot eyy we can beat them.' Kauto said trying to encourage them more. The competition continued and the furs had made it comfortably into the final round were they would need there best performance to qualify for the Fur Olympics.

'Ok!! Ladies and Gentle furs, we have reached the final round of competition, the competitors will do a 10 minute routine each to decide who is through to this years major!' The announcer said. 'The competitors will now be drawn out and will come up in two's.'

Everyone was given a number, Falcon was number 8, Ring Eye had number 19, MW was given number 45, while Kauto and Chet were given numbers 84 and 85 which meant they would go on stage last together.

'Hahahaha!!!! Were on together Chet!' Kauto shouted as the numbers were drawn. They began jumping in the air in delight, the ground began to shake as the two huge equines bounced in the air.

'Oh man this is going to be so fun. Lets give the audience a show they'll never forget.' Chet said as Kauto began nodding in agreement. The final round begun and the competitors began going up in there pairs. Falcon was the first of the 5 to go back on stage, he had been paired with a burly tiger named Kato. The tiger tried to intimidate Falcon before he went on stage, but the powerful horse wasn't having any of it, in fact he began flexing his body to scare the tiger away. 'The 17th and 18th contestants going through are................................................Ring Eye and MW!!!'

'Come On!!!!! Na na na na na na na!!!! ' they began singing as they headed out on stage. MW and Ring Eye took their invitations and waited with the others while shaking hands firmly. The next 55 contestants were called leaving Kauto and Chet worried they hadn't made it.

'And now! The remaining two contestants through to this years Fur Olympics are........................................................................................................................................................................'

'Oh come on who?' Chet said waiting desperately for the announcer to speak.

'KAUTO AND CHESTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' The crowd erupted as the announcement was made. Falcon, Ring Eye and MW all squealed and jumped for joy while Chet and Kauto exploded with cheers and laughing as they kissed and punched the air in sheer delight. They quickly charged up the stairs to the stage to accept their invitations to the 2012 Fur Olympics were they would be competing against the world's best.

'And Ladies and Gentle Furs that concludes this years qualifier, a big congratulations to our winners and the best of luck in the Olympics. Ladies and Gentle Furs our winners.' the announcer shouted as the crowd screamed and hollered. The contestants all bowed to the crowd, and made there way off the stage.

With the five furs all holding each other and cheering, they picked all there clothes and luggage up before heading out of the building feeling proud and over the moon that every single one of them had made through to the qualifier and would now be competing at the highest level of competition.
