High School Is Hard - Final Chapter
#13 of High School is Hard
This is the last chapter of my old character, remember it is no longer base off me and such
After I long ending to junior year, and a very short summer school starts once more for Frank. Senior year, the last year of high school; Frank couldn't wait to start the year then have it done so he can be free. He wasn't sure if he wanted to go to college or not he was still thinking about it. Frank knew this year was going to drag, however; he didn't care one bit, LAST YEAR.
Frank and Josh's relationship was at its peak; they fooled around regularly, balanced their relationship with their friends, and mostly just hang with one another like friends. They occasionally did jokes on one another just to be silly, and they had their fights; however, they always made up like any other couple. Josh was as happy as he could be with Frank; he couldn't see him ending with Frank at all whatsoever. Josh was also not sure about college yet also wanted to end this long last year of high school.
***************************
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The alarm clock sounded next to Frank's bed telling him it's time to get up and start his first day of being a senior in high school. He was excited to finally end his school rain. Frank wasn't planning much for college he just wanted to leave that school for now. As for Frank and Josh, well they hit a rough patch; Josh got a scholarship to Yale, a faraway college, so they have been kind of arguing about it. Mostly they're afraid about their relationship being long term since Josh doesn't believe in it. Frank was upset at first, now he is just sad because Josh is not backing down from it.
Frank went through his morning routine and went to school. When he arrived he took out his schedule he got in the mail, looked it over and went on to his first class. First it was Home Room/Math, in room B-1.
"Great starting the day with math, this year is going to go by so slow." Frank said with a pout.
Oddly though Frank didn't see Josh in at all, this made Frank more upset. He looked over his schedule again and saw he had Gym last.
"Alright, least I get to end the day with activity, no siting down in a long boring class, no paper work, just games and outside; make the time go by faster." Frank said to himself moving through the hallway into math class and sat down in the back.
A brand new teacher came into the class, new to the school. He was a full white Husky with ice blue eyes, looking to be in his mid to late twenties. Frank looked at him and though he was cute. He was going to be 19 this year; to him they seemed so close in age. Frank was thinking there was at least one thing interesting this year. He pretended to pay attention when he spoke about math, and looking at his dressed up butt when he turned around, and the rest of him. Frank knew he wasn't going to make any moves on him, but fantasizing for 45 minutes was okay.
Frank also pretended to care when he didn't get something and got help from the teacher. 'Damn I was too busy looking at his ass I didn't hear him when he said his name' Frank thought so he got his name when he asked from help, Mr. Thompson. 'Heh a common name fits him too.' Thompson was a nice guy as he helped Frank understood the lesson of the day.
Afterword Frank went through his other classes as of normal until Gym class. All day long, no Josh in sight at all; Frank asked one of Josh's teammates in class, a Doberman naked as he just got in from the class before. Frank stared at his chest a little bit as he asked but fought not to check him out. The Doberman said he was shadowing at Yale and will be back by the end of the week. Frank said 'oh' flattening his ears which made the other dog chuckle.
"Don't worry man; he'll be back and happy to see you. It won't matter what fight you guys had." The Doberman said as he patted his shoulder.
Frank nodded and the other dog went off to the shower as Frank dressed into his sports shorts. Luckily they played the game his is best at, gym hockey, Frank was the goalie. Frank was shot on 15 times and let one in, he had fun being in net. Had a couple comments saying he should go pro, which made Frank roll his eyes.
His first day has ending and the rest of the week rolled on until Josh came back. Frank tried calling him but his phone was off, he thought maybe it was a must to keep phones off, or on the plane or something. When Josh came back, the first the he did was head over to Frank's to greet him. They hugged and said hi; they hung out for the rest of the night, which included a two way blow session (not a 69, a give one then receive one). Josh missed Frank while he was gone just as Frank did in return.
Josh left around Mid-night back home; the next day they found out they had no classes together at all. Frank wasn't happy about that but he'll get over it, they got over that cupcake faze. Now they are just a normal-ish couple, not all over each other and upset if they are not; yet also not, not standing each other. Frank is hanging with Tre more often and willing to have other friends but none seem to come into the picture other than those who are with Tre.
The whole year went on like that until the end, Frank doing well and will graduate. While Josh and Tre got straight A's that year, they were on the honor role. Frank was happy for Josh and Tre, yet he was also sad that they are both going to different and long distant colleges. Graduation was a day away and Josh would be leaving that weekend to Yale. On that day, he and Josh will break up and that thought brought a small sniffle to his nose. Frank knew he couldn't be the reason Josh didn't go to his dream college.
Josh understood how Frank felt and he too was sad, because well Frank was and still is his love and the one he lost his anal virginity too. They both were each other's first and proud of it.
The Next Day:
Graduation; the last day of being a High School student and Frank was enjoying the entire day. He took pictures with everyone and especially with him and Josh, one private on of him and Josh kissing. The ceremony itself took about a half an hour, Frank didn't really do anything in School so is name wasn't really called for anything other than the diploma. Josh on the other hand was called for a lot since he played sports, did charity work, volunteer work, and made the honor role.
Frank's and Josh's parents where in the audience and were very proud of their boys. Frank was still going to stay at his parents for a year before deciding to go to college, mostly to think about what he wants to do. Okay, mostly to take a year off to be lazy. After the ceremony Josh, Frank, and Tre went to Frank's to hang out. Frank and Josh hugged and kissed a lot enjoying each other while they could. They stayed around each other until Saturday, which was the day he was leaving. That night around 12 am they were at the airport awaiting his flight to board.
"Well Frank, my fox, this is goodbye for now..." Josh said sadly but strong.
"Yep..." Frank stayed strong as well, yet sounding more sad.
"Hey Frank?" Josh asked.
"Yes?" Frank lifted his head up to look at Josh.
Josh took Frank's paw "Let's promise that if and WHEN, we meet again or in the same area or I can come back or anything like that we WILL continue where we left off. Please?"
Frank smiled. "Of course Josh."
They hugged and shared a peck on the lips before the voice over the intercom said his plane was boarding. With that they let go, waved and said bye to one another while Josh vanished into the plane and in a matter of 20 minutes the plane started off. Frank stood at the window where he could watch and watched as Josh's plane took off into the night sky.
Now all Frank could hope for now is a now and then text and/or call from Josh while at Yale. And that they meet again soon.
"Goodbye Josh...For Now..." Frank mumbled to himself with a sniffle.
THE END...?
