Someone who cares.
"Vincent! Vincent! Vincent!" The crowd cheered out. He pushed his foot down on the clutch of the high preformace racing motorcycle. The black bike sped past the lead rider and he was soon blazing past everyone. The highspeed squeeling of the engine was making his blood pump. The bright lights of the racetrack where shining on him as he came in first acroos the finishing line. A loud buzzer sounded and the race was over. He slowed down the bike as he rode the small drive to his pit station.
A few people dressed in yellow uniforms came over to him. "That was great!" a round man said. "It was no big deal." Vincent said removing his full face motorcycle helmet. It revealed his long black hair and saphire blue eyes. "You're always so damn calm about everything aren't you?" a tall man joked. "Hurry up and get ready for the trophy ceremony." The plump man said. "Ok then." Vincent said getting off the bike and walking towards the small locker room. He removed the protective motorcycle suit. He put on some jeans and a black shirt. He walked out on to the small stage as the crowd cheered. The announcer came on. "Well with the race concluded it is now time for the award ceremony." He said. Two other racers were also on stage. They were both smiling. Vincent and the others lined up on the stage. The trophies were handed out and their names were announced. Vincent was awarded first place and 15,000 dollars.
Vincent and his team went out for drinks after everything was over. They arrived at a small club. The group had a large booth reserved for them. Everyone was excited about their recent victory and the other higher ranking races they were now qualified for. Vincent walked over and sat at the bar. "I'll have a gin and tonic." Vincent said in his usual calm tone. "Here you go." The bartender said handing him his drink. He took a few sips. Vincent was happy about the win but he did see the need to jump around like the others. He sighed. "You're Vincent Moon, right?" A sauced blonde said staring at him. "Yep." Vincent said not even bothering to look over at her. "If you're looking for a good time my friends and I are-" she began to slur. "Not interested." Vincent said plainly coming his shoulder length black hair with his fingers. "Well fine then!" the drunk woman said walking away.
A familiar plump man sat next to him. "Hey, Jack." Vincent said. "Hey Vince why didn't you take that dame up on her offer?" The plump man said his familiar brooklyn accent slightly slurred. "I'm tired of women only wanting my money." Vincent said. "Yeah..I know how that can be." Jack said staring at the counter. "Well let's relax, there is going to be another big race in europe here in a month." Jack said smiling. "Yeah." Vincent said smiling. Once the group died down a bit Vincent decided to go home. He rode down the road on his black street bike. He arrived home kicked off his boots and fell asleep on his couch.

The rain from the clouds poured heavily upon the earth making it's familiar music. The wind was cold. I shivvered as the wind blew over my fur. I curled up in my small home i built. I shivered a little hoping that the rain and wind would stop. My body was dirty and wet. I closed my eyes hoping it would stop.

The sun was bright in the sky. It was nice and warm outside. Vincent got up and walked over to his refridgerator, to his diappointment there was nothing in there. He sighed as he put on his boots and jacket. He combed his hair and went outside. He got on his bike and sped off towards the small store near his house. He was feeling really good after everything that happend last night. He pulled up to the store and set the alarm on his bike. He walked inside the store as the classic ding-dong of the welcoming bell played. He walked down the isles picking out some different things to eat. He went throught the line and payed for his things. After he was outside he stood next to his bike and drank his energy lemonade. His eyes were drawn to the movement of a small creature he walked over to the small adjacent ally. There was a small calico cat it was drinking out of a dirty mud puddle. The cat's ears perked up as it looked at Vincent. It began to hiss, he could tell it was only scared. He reached into the plastic bag and pulled out some cooked chicken he had bought.
The cat watched him, ready to run at any moment. Vincent squatted down and slow inched his way towards the dirty, hungry cat. He held out the chicken, the cat sniffed the air and cautiously inched over towards it. "It's ok, here is some good food for you." Vincent said calmly and in a caring voice. "There you go." Vincent said the cat started to vigorously eat it. Vincent looked at the calico cat. It had no collar and looked like it was in rough shape. The cat was a girl and seemed young maybe only two years old. "What's the matter girl? Are you all alone?" He asked as the cat ate the meat. Vincent cautiously started to pet it. The cat seemed scared at first but was soon pushing her head against his hand. Vincent seen a small cardboard box nearby that the cat must have been living in. "Hey girl, do you want to come with me?" Vincent asked. The cat mewled and nuzzled his hand. Vincent gently picked up the cat and put her safely on his motorcylce and they went home.
The cat followed Vincent into his house, he gave her some more food in a bowl. He walked into the baathroom where he put a little warm water in the bottom. The calico finished her meal and explored the strange place a little, it was a small place. Soon Vincent went to look for the cat. He carefully picked up the cat, It was very cautious. "Let's get you clean girl." Vincent said nicely. He set the cat in the tub bearly covered with water. The calico was a little confused, this water was warm and this man was being very nice to her, but it really didn't matter because it was nice. Vincent began to gentle wash her fur clean of the dirt and mud. The calico was purring happily. "Wow your so sweet, hehe I think I'll call you Candy." Vincet said laughing. He rinsed and gently dried her off.
He walked out to the living room where he turned up the heat, turned on the television and sat on the couch. Candy wandered over to him and hopped on the sofa next to him. She curled up and began to purr. Thunder cracked in the air and rain began to pound the roof. It was raining but she was inside where she was clean, full, and warm all thanks to this man. She purred and cuddled against him, he chuckled and pet her.
