Getting to know their new friends
Boners and Reinhardt start getting to know their new friends when the kobold's jealousy makes things difficult between them. The grumpy Boners ends up paired with the huge but muscular Hark, and taciturn Reinhardt with the flippant lizard Resa, and their conversations take a much more intimate turn than expected...
A collaboration with my friend, talented Nemo69!
The small cottage was spartan but tidy, its whitewashed walls and thatched roof giving off a cozy, rustic feel to it. It was furnished with a jumble of different kinds of furniture, some donations from the villagers, others made by Hark himself. In one corner of the room a fireplace was crackling pleasantly, and everywhere, on every flat surface there were flowers someone had hand picked and set in pots, vases, and buckets giving off a fragrant scent. The four of them were seated around a table with a white tablecloth, patched but clean, where they had enjoyed a simple stew together, Hark ladling more for Reinhardt and Boners without asking until they were full enough to decline politely. Hark puttered around collecting dishes while tea water was being brought to boil, his large frame moving with surprising swiftness. Resa helped by licking the earthenware plates clean and stacking them into a tall pile and making a balancing game out of it. The conversation they had was kept cordial by Hark and Reinhardt doing most of the talking, while Boners kept his head at the table's level and eyed Resa suspiciously over its edge.
Resa, of course, was happily ignoring both Boners's glare and Reinhardt's and Hark's conversation. His long, whiplike tail twitched between his legs as he sat on the table, his head bobbed back and forth as he gazed out the window, his tongue flicking out occasionally with the rhythm of his soft humming. The lizard's patched tunic hung off his lithe frame almost comically, and it's dull beige fabric was a stark contrast to his bright green scales, patterned down his back and up to the tapered ridge of his skull in similarly-bright shades of orange, yellow, and blue. Reinhardt looked from the lizard to the kobold from time to time as he and Hark discussed the castle's defenses and secret passages, making sure that his companion would not have another outburst. Finally, the conversation tapered off, and Reinhardt nodded to the bull man.
"Thank you very much, Hark. You've been a great help." Despite his earlier misgivings about the minotaur's race, he offered Hark a grateful handshake.
"Aw gosh, it's nothing really. I like helping people!" Hark said and waved away the knight's compliments.
He wrapped a cloth around the handle of a cast iron tea kettle and set it on the table, then shooed Resa to move. The lizard obeyed without needing further explanations and skittered up to a cupboard to get a jar of tea leaves from the top shelf, climbing on it like a gecko on wall. Upon his return he walked up to Reinhardt and slinked under his arm and clambered onto his lap, and settled in like on his favorite comfy chair.
"There!" he sat the jar on the table and rolled it around with his delicate fingers while the kobold across the table stared at him bug-eyed.
Reinhardt had frozen as the lizard had settled on his lap, unsure of what exactly the little creature thought he was doing. "Ah... do you mind?"
"Not at all!" Resa turned to grin brightly up at Reinhardt and making him flinch as the lizard's hips rubbed him a little too intimately. Resa then gave the same happy, carefree grin to Hark as he rolled the jar of tea leaves to the bull man. "Catch!"
Hark tutted and caught the jar just before it rolled off the table into a meeting with its fate. He set out tiny porcelain cups for his guests and himself, but a dented tin mug for Resa. Boners gripped the table with his fingers, his hackles raised and made an angry face.
"Hey, what are you doing? Everybody knows that humans don't like being touched, you're making my friend uncomfortable!"
"Huh? What are you talking about, doggy? All the humans I've met don't mind lettin' me perch on them. And Harky loves it, don't you?" Resa laughed, clear and bright, as he gave Hark a playful wink.
"Be that as it may, this is just a little bit too friendly for me. No offense meant," Reinhardt spoke meekly.
"Aw, but isn't that what you're here for? Gettin' friendly?"
Reinhardt found himself at a loss how to argue with Resa's obliviousness. Hark sat his tiny cup down and extended his muscular arm towards the lizard.
"Oh come on, be a lamb and give our guest a rest?" He made a beckoning sign with his fingers, his taut musculature rippling under his black, shiny skin.
"Hmm, alright." Resa shifted himself on Reinhardt, bundling his legs under him and setting his long-toed feet on the knight's thighs. With a squeak he leapt straight across the table to perch himself on the minotaur's thick arm. He balanced for a moment, and then skittered up the limb to climb down onto Hark's lap. With a soft laugh he took his tin cup in both hands and held it up for the minotaur. "Drink, please!"
Reinhardt stared at Resa for a long moment, still rubbing his legs where the lizard had kicked off from. He was honestly a little bit impressed. For someone so slender the lizard's legs had lots of strength to them, his muscles lean but springy. Hark craned his neck forwards and blew on Resa's tea, then took a sip.
"It's okay to drink honey, it's not too hot."
Resa rubbed his head against Hark's chest and looked up making a pleading face. Hark blushed and coughed.
"Hrm. Maybe not this time, we're not alone..." The minotaur looked at his guests. "He usually wants milk in his tea..."
"Ah, I... see." Reinhardt remembered the mention of 'milking' Hark had made during his story of his captivity, and coughed as he lifted his teacup up. Resa's tail sagged a little as he began sipping his own tea, making a slight face at the apparent bitterness. Reinhardt, however, found the flavor strong and pleasing, and gave the minotaur an approving nod.
"Thank you for the tea."
"Actually you should be thanking Resa," the minotaur said and patted the lizard's head. "It is made from the herbs he collected." He rubbed the Resa's tummy making him giggle and clamp his arm to escape the tickling. "You're clever like that, aren't you love?" he rumbled affectionately, and Resa beamed.
"Yup yup! I find all sorts of things! Some I have to go into town to barter and some I get to keep for us! In fact..." He chuckled, leaning back to nuzzle into Hark's chest again, and then hopped out of the minotaur's lap. "You wanna see something really cool?" He grinned at Reinhardt and Boners.
The knight looked to the kobold for answer, but he just continued to glower at the lizard. "Sure, I suppose so?"
Hark nodded and made a silent 'go on' face.
"Alrighty then!" Resa trotted off to another room of the cottage.
"Pfft, I guess I could use a laugh." Boners muttered, but followed nevertheless.
Reinhardt got up behind Boners and touched his shoulder. "Psst. Be more civil okay? We're guests here," he said under his voice.
Boners was about to reply snarkily, but Reinhardt stopped him. "We humans take hospitality just as seriously as not being touched. Just so you know."
The kobold stayed silent, but kept his arms crossed sulkily as they followed behind Resa.
The lizard was just hopping down from a high shelf as the two entered, holding a box clutched against his chest with surprising care. "Come on, over here..." He slinked over to a low, wide table, and plopped himself down right on the floor. He set the box on the table and looked up at the two guests, his bright eyes shining as his tail flicked.
"It's a box." Reinhardt turned it around in his hands. "Did you make it? It is very pretty."
"Oooh I did not know you knew carpentry too!" Boners replied with a sarcastic tone.
Reinhardt moved his foot to prod lightly at Boner's leg, giving the kobold a look.
"No no, it's something Martha gave me for... well, you'll see." He giggled to himself. "Open it up!"
Reinhardt nodded, setting the box back down onto the table. He undid the latch and opened the lid, finding the box filled with stones of various size, shape, and color, all of them glittering in the light filtering between the curtains.
Boners laughed before the knight could stop him. "Common rocks? Who collects junk like that!"
Hearing that Resa looked hurt, his usual smiling figure turning crestfallen. He was clearly very proud of his collection and had not expected to be made fun of. Reinhardt shushed at the kobold, making an angry short sound. "Boners, why don't you go help Hark. He needs you more than we do here."
Boners tried to protest but Reinhardt glared at him, shutting him up. The russet dog creature turned his back on him and stomped out angrily.
Reinhardt put his hand on Resa's shoulder. "I'm so sorry for my friend, I don't know what's gotten into him. For what it's worth I think your collection is very pretty. Would you want to tell me more about it? Where's that one from?"
Resa looked up at the knight, his smile returning. "That one I found over by the river. It looked so shiny in the water that I could hardly miss it..."
Meanwhile, Boners huffed as he looked around for Hark. The bull man had apparently gone outside, and so the kobold made his way out while grumbling even more. Honestly, he did not know what Reinhardt thought he was doing. They already had information on how to get into the castle, and where the bat creatures that had captured them would have taken their supplies and his journal. Why the human thought that their expedition was more important than some stupid lizard's rock collection?
There was a sound of chopping wood a little way from the cottage, and Boners remembered seeing a pile of firewood stacked in a neat pile in the woods. He made his way towards the sound mainly because he did not want to stand alone and fume outside while Reinhardt was playing with that brainless lizard’s stupid toys. As he cleared the bushes he saw Hark swinging a woodman's axe, splitting big logs with a single blow. The bull had tossed aside his shirt again and was wearing brownish trousers, their much patched and frayed legs ending at Hark's knees. A hole in the backside let his tail hang out, and it swung rhythmically as he worked, its black tuft almost brushing against the ground. Hark's musculature was impressive, its thick bundles making ridges and bumps as they pressed against his taut, shiny, pitch black skin. He was already sweating from the work--the creature must have been accustomed to more chillier climates--and the mane that ran along his back was well on its way in becoming matted and damp. His chest tuft that began between his pecs and trailed down to his belly button was similarly drenched, like a wet rag.
Boners paused at the sight, eyes going wide as he stared. The minotaur was even more built than Reinhardt was, and Boners felt the trousers he was wearing start growing tight as his eyes raked over Hark's bulging, flexing, muscles. The smell of the bull man filled the air as the wind shifted, thick, sweaty, and raunchy like a stable. Boners clamped a hand over his sensitive nose even as he let out a harsh huff, feeling his cheeks grow warm. Hark put down his axe to take a breather, but he had not noticed Boners yet. Thinking no-one was watching him he slipped his hand in his pants to give his balls a good, nice scratch. He pulled out and sniffed his fingers, then turned his head to see the kobold by the clearing.
"O-oh! Sorry!" He shook his hand as if to get rid of the smell, then brushed the locks off his eyes with the very same hand. He realized what he was doing and became fiercely flustered.
Boners had begun smirking slightly at the sight, a plan already forming to get back at that stupid lizard for taking up Reinhardt's attention, and the human for falling for it. He would show Reinhardt just how civil kobolds could be...
"No worries, no worries. This is your home, after all. Be as comfortable as you like." His eyes darted down to the bull's chest once more as he approached, seeing the thick, sweat-beaded nipples poking up from his pecs, coral pink against the black of his flesh. He grinned, putting his hands behind his back and rocking on his heels as he stood next to the minotaur. "So, what'cha doin'?"
"Did you come to help me with the firewood? That's really nice of you! Usually I have to do it all by myself." He snorted and huffed, like a heavy pack animal. "Resa's not very useful at boring stuff like this. Well, boring to him. I kinda like splitting wood… These logs are pretty heavy, but maybe you could pick up the splinters into a bundle please?"
"Oh, I know what you mean." He laid a sympathetic hand on Hark's forearm, rubbing slightly over the thick limb. "Those lizards can be so flighty and, and..." He searched for a good word for a moment. "Irresponsible sometimes, always going off for silly things.” Like a rock collection, he muttered quietly.
He patted Hark's arm, giving the minotaur a bright smile, and then hopped to start gathering up the splinters from Hark's work. "Not like us true kobolds. We're more than happy to help!" His scruffy tail wagged behind him as he bent over. "I'll get these cleaned up in a flash!"
"He finds enjoyment in simple things. In a way he's the smartest of us all." Hark shrugged his shoulders and swung his ax again, splitting a couple of logs. "Tell me… how you've come along that human you travel with? They have lots of weird ideas about nonhumans, don't they. It's sometimes a chore to get along."
"You've no idea." Boners rolled his eyes a bit. "He's actually my bodyguard though, so he has to play nice with me. At least until this expedition we're on is over." Boners had not given much thought to what would happen afterwards, but he suddenly felt a little bit pensive about it. Things had actually been going pretty good between them, all things considered. With a little more time, maybe he could even help the knight pull the stick out of his ass regarding the obvious attraction he had for Boners.
Hark sighed and sat on a pile of logs. "That sounds nice, I'm happy for you. I and Resa have each other, but we're different... very different. It sometimes worries me, if you know?"
"Really, I hadn't noticed." Boners couldn't help the slight tinge of sarcasm in his voice. With a grunt, he crawled up into Hark's lap. The minotaur actually made for a pretty comfortable seat, and Boners could actually start understanding why Resa enjoyed being here all the time.
"That's not to say Reinhardt and I aren't very different too. Sometimes I feel like pulling my ears off having to deal with him." The minotaur's sweaty lap felt like radiator under Boners's butt. His flesh was very tough, the thick muscle cords as unyielding as saddle leather.
Hark flicked his droopy ears and gave a half-hearted smile. "Heh, mine are still in place, even though Resa sometimes tries his damnedest." He snorted and wiped his muzzle with the back of his hand. "I do love him. A lot." The minotaur spoke with a deep baritone, the words rumbling one by one from his masculine chest. The slowness of his speech was deliberate, not borne out of sluggishness but with the inevitability of an avalanche. Determined.
"But you don't think he loves you?"
Hark did not reply straight away, but just gazed sadly into the distance.
"Who knows." He shook his broad shoulders. "We'll find out eventually, and we might just as well enjoy our time together until that happens."
Boners looked downward, muttering to himself. "'Enjoy our time together, huh...?" He shook his head, jumping down off the minotaur's lap and turning to look up at him. "Look, I know I complain, but Reinhardt's actually a pretty good guy. I... actually don't think I'd have made it this far if it wasn't for him. And the same goes for you and the liz-- Resa, right?"
This time Hark laughed out loud with genuine mirth. "Resa for certain wouldn't have made it this far. He's a lovable guy but useless at practical stuff! He's the kind of person who hopes that somehow everything turns out fine, and I'm here to make sure that it happens."
He rose up and lifted the ax on his shoulder. "Let's go, I think we have enough wood to last until tomorrow. I'd suggest you try to enter the castle early in the morning, you can stay the night at our place if you want to."
"Right. Um... thank you, Hark." Boners hefted his own significantly smaller bundle of splinters, still lost in thought over the minotaur's words. "So, what do want to do with these?"
"Kindling. Also really good for whittling, and that's a fun way to pass the time!"
They started their way back to the house.
Meanwhile Reinhardt groaned inwardly when he saw that they were barely halfway through Resa's collection. He was already doubting if he could… handle this much longer, and as a surprise even to himself he realized that he hoped that the kobold--his kobold--would come back soon.
"Hehe, no, no, I just like neat stuff!" Resa giggled, setting one rock down and picking up another one. He looked up, and finally seemed to notice the knight's discomfort. "Um, if you're getting bored, we can do something else, though."
Reinhardt sighed "Finally!"
They were sitting face to face on a rag carpet, and Resa looked downwards, rolling the rock between his palms and set it down on the floor between them. "Hehe, I'm sorry. I know humans don't find this stuff as interesting as us kobolds do." He got onto his hands and knees and crawled towards Reinhardt, slowly maneuvering himself to straddle the startled knight's hips, his tail waving behind him as his face brightened once more. Reinhardt could feel the shifting of the lizards hips right on his crotch. "Thank you for being nice, though..."
Reinhardt held his hands up, hovering them close to his shoulders and felt confused whether to push the lizard away or touch him. "Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just being polite." He started to blush which made him nervous. "I'm not implying there is a right way to take this!" This small creature was less than half his weight, but it was still making him feel off balance. He was slowly getting used to Boners doing that to him constantly, but he had not signed up for this!
Resa tilted his head. "What do you mean?"
At least the lizard had a very neutral smell, unlike Boners. Realizing he was making this comparison made Reinhardt blush even more furiously. Angry at himself he took action, as had been drilled into him. Initiative! Reinhardt set his hands firmly on Resa's shoulders. "Never mind that. We should do something else already.” He kept his voice steady by falling into a routine, thinking himself as a trained yet detached official. It is not proper for an Imperial Officer to fraternize with the locals. He gulped. Especially if they were male...
"Hehe, alrighty! So, what do you wanna do? There's not much to do around here..." Resa looked around, tongue flicking out in apparent thought as he squirmed a bit in Reinhardt's grip. And on his lap. Then, the carefree smile reappeared on his face as his shoulders slipped out of Reinhardt's grasp with practiced ease, and he moved forward to lay his head on Reinhardt's chest. "We could get to know each other better..."
"I don't think it's hardly appropriate, your friend-" Reinhardt was cut short by Resa slipping a hand under his belt, the delicate fingers cold against his lower belly, the lizard’s fingertips brushing against his pubic hair. The man froze, afraid that the lizard had felt the twitch of his cock against his bottom.
"-Is really, really nice, just like you..." The small lizard nuzzled the human, his tongue flicking out to brush against the curve of Reinhardt's neck. Both his voice and his gaze remained light and playful, almost seeming more interested in the reactions he was getting from Reinhardt. His fingers rubbed up and down the knight's stomach, brushing through the light hair coating it. "You're really interesting, and I like interesting things. Plus, you smell good!"
One clawed fingertip finally found the dip of Reinhardt's navel, and Resa seemed to take great delight in running the digit around it and dipping his finger in and out of the slight hollow.
Reinhardt sighed, his voice trembling from the sensation, but suddenly a wave of guilt washed over him. "No, this is wrong." He put his hand on Resa's chest to stop him, yet he did not push him away. "We can't… what would they think?" Even as he spoke he realized how much he wanted this, for someone to pay attention to him unrequited, just a simple touch without any weird mind games. But why it had to be a guy...?
Resa tilted his head once more, looking up at the knight as though he was suddenly speaking a foreign language. "Well, Hark says that curiosity is good, and likes when I explore and find interesting things..." He giggled, bouncing a bit on Reinhardt's lap in excitement. "And he likes when I tell him about the things I find!” Suddenly he frowned and seemed to think. “I don't care about the doggy, though. He's mean." He grew bored of playing with Reinhardt's navel, and his hand began moving up to Reinhardt's chest. The knight's shirt lifted up, exposing his belly to rub against the rough fabric of Resa's tunic.
"Hff, Boners is… complicated." Reinhardt's mouth felt suddenly dry. He kept his hand against Resa but didn't resist when the lizard leaned in to rub his belly with his own. The roughness of the fabric felt nice, as if being hugged by a guy with stubbly hair. He braced himself with his free hand, propping himself up on his elbow, letting Resa slowly crawl on him. The lizard straddled his sides, sitting on his belly. "Wouldn't Hark, wouldn't Hark get angry…?” Reinhardt asked, flustered.
"Why?" Resa’s hands had found the knight's pecs, and were gently kneading and squeezing them, his fingers stroking over and tweaking the firm buds of Reinhardt's nipples. "Speaking of Hark, do you make milk like him? Can I taste it?"
"What, no!" Reinhardt was befuddled and rose up to a sitting position, throwing Resa off him effortlessly. "Waitasecond, that big guy makes milk?"
"Ooof!" Resa landed in a pile of lithe limbs, the short end of his tunic falling away to reveal his scaled posterior to the knight. He scrambled up to sit beside Reinhardt once more, head tilted. "Well, yeah. What did you think we were talking about back at the table?"
"Well! Something entirely different!" What exactly had passed through Reinhardt's mind then did not make him feel any less flustered, and he was most definitely not going to share it with the alluring lizard. He needed to divert how this discussion was going to keep control. "Look, you are really cute - I mean nice! - nice guy, but I have a duty towards my partner. I can't go fooling around behind his back because, uh. Um." Reinhardt scratched the back of his head, unsure where he was going with this even himself. When had Boners become his 'partner'?
"What do you mean fooling around? We're just getting to know each other..." He crawled back on top of Reinhardt, pinning the knight down once more with a bright, carefree smile. "Though I guess it hasn't really been fair, since I'm the one doin' all the exploring..." He looked thoughtful for a moment, and then began shifting to turn himself around on top of the knight. "Wanna explore me?" He finally straddled the knight's chest, his knees settling next to Reinhardt's armpits. He was facing away from the knight, examining the large bulge in the knight's pants as his tail slowly waved over Reinhardt's face.
Resa took Reinhardt's limp hands into his, and placed them on his thighs just below the hem of his tunic. "Come on, you'll like it!" The man felt dazed, as if moving in a sleep he took a firmer hold of those smooth, silky legs. They felt like the river polished stones he had been shown just a short while ago, as cool and as slippery against his hot palms. He slid his hands upwards and under that tunic, following the ridge the lizard's muscles made. "I shouldn't be doing this..." he gulped, yet he did not stop. He reached Resa's slim waist and closed his hands around it, first following the groove of his hips towards lizard's crotch then brushed his fingers against the small of his back. The creature felt cold, yet he was clearly a living being, the sensation strange and intriguing to him. Resa breathed evenly and Reinhardt's hands followed the motion.
Resa let out a soft huff, Reinhardt’s attention starting to affect him as his tail began to rise up. The lithe limb lifted the lizard's short tunic with it, the rough fabric falling away to reveal more and more of Resa's scaly thighs, and eventually his smooth crotch. As the lizard's tail arched over his back, Reinhardt finally got a good look at what lay between the lizard's legs. There was a cleft in the lizard's scales running from Resa's pubic bone up to the base of his tail. As Resa shifted, the cleft parted slightly, and the knight began to notice another scent coming from the lizard. Faintly pungent, but not unpleasantly so. The lizard, meanwhile, seemed to take delight in prodding the thick, firm bulge in Reinhardt's pants, watching it twitch and pulse.
"You're warm... I like warm..."
Reinhardt caressed that smooth expanse of firm flesh, alien yet familiar at the same time. Without thinking about it he craned his neck closer to that source of smell, to take a good whiff of the tantalizing mating aroma...
Then the back door suddenly banged loudly, startling him. "We're back!" a high pitched voice yelled.
Resa hopped off of Reinhardt, seeming to forget all about his explorations as he rushed off to greet Hark. "Hey! Got lots of wood?" he giggled.
Reinhardt picked himself up from the floor, flustered and confused and brushed his clothes. He was ashamed of his reaction, of being taken in so easily, yet he wanted more of it at the same time. His crotch throbbed and his erection would be painfully obvious to anyone so he sat on the only furniture in the room, a comfy bed, to hide it. He called out to the other room trying to make his voice sound gruff. "Boners, you there? We should leave, we have lots of things to prepare."
The kobold came in, ears perking up as he finally set his sights on the knight. His tail wagged for just a second, then he scowled and crossed his arms. "No need. While you were in here playing with your new friend, I was getting things set up with Hark. We're gonna stay the night here, and leave for the castle in the morning."
Reinhardt grimaced. "I didn't agree to that! You can't make that kind of decisions by yourself, like staying for the night in a friendly place-" Boners' look made him peter out. "I mean, it's hardly appropriate, we shouldn't burden these nice folks..."
Boners shrugged. "Hark offered, and I accepted. Like we did with Aldous." He stepped closer, looking the knight over. "I don't get why you're so-" He froze, sniffing the air. "...Oh. Ohhhhh."
Reinhardt had the look of a mouse seeing an owl dive in. He cleared his throat and masked his nervousness with a stern voice. "Very well, even though I don't appreciate you going behind my back on this matter-" he was promptly cut off by Boners' reaction.
Boners tutted, putting his hands behind his back and shaking his head. "Yes, it's so horrible when someone goes behind another person's back, isn't it? Like you and that lizard." He began to pace around the room, his voice taking on a dramatic tone. "Honestly, I'm hurt, Reinhardt. Very, very hurt. Here we are, finally opening up to each other, starting to get along and learn about each other, and you go and do something like this. Honestly, you never get that hard around me, no matter what I do!"
"It's not like that! You gotta believe me!" the knight pleaded, surprised even himself how genuinely hurt he felt by the accusations.
"Oh, no?" Boner's marched right up to Reinhardt, taking a hold of the knight's knees and pulling them apart to reveal his throbbing bulge. "Then why are you aroused right now, after I just happened to leave you alone with that lizard? And why do you stink of lizard musk?"
"We were just - we were just getting to know each other!" Reinhardt shook his hands, his emotions roiling from ashamed to frustrated to angry. "Besides why I'm explaining myself to you? It's not like, it's not like we're-" he shut up, not wanting to say what he had in mind. Reinhardt let his hands flop down and sighed deeply. "Look, I'm sorry all right? I don't want to make a thing out of this."
"Neither do I..." Boners tapped his fingers on Reinhardt's legs, looking thoughtful for a long moment, and then moved forward to make Reinhardt lay back on the bed. The kobold's pot belly came to rest on Reinhardt's bulge, rubbing against it, and he set his elbows on the knight's taut stomach as he steepled his fingers. "But you do realize we're gonna have to do something about this, right?"
The owl had landed, grasping its prey. "I guess..." Reinhardt made an apologetic face. "You can call the shots next, and I'll do it without grumbling, would that be okay?" He lifted his eyebrows, hopeful like a man pleading not guilty. His shirt was still loose and the kobold's rough hair tickled his stomach. He smelled like a mutt he had while growing up, a scruffy little thing.
"Hmmm..." Boners tapped his fingers together, bouncing slightly on his toes. The motion made his belly bounce and grind against Reinhardt's erection. "Sounds good to me!" He pulled himself up, crawling on top of the knight and settling his tushy right on Reinhardt's bulge. His long-toed feet came to rest on Reinhardt's shoulders, rubbing against them as he smirked down at the human. "So, you're gonna be a good boy, Reiny?"
Reinhardt was about to protest but was stopped by Boners putting a finger across his lips and tutting. He resigned and just nodded, flushing from the strange intimacy he felt from submitting to this ridiculous creature topping him.
"Good. You can start by taking this thing off." He prodded at Reinhardt's chest with his heel, making the fabric of the knight's shirt bunch up a bit. He smirked as his toes played over the human's chin. "...And keeping it off.”
The knight glanced at the open doorway, bewildered. "H-here?" he whispered. They could easily hear Hark's heavy footsteps and Resa's humming as they were puttering around.
"Here." Boner's chuckled playfully. "What's the matter? Hark goes shirtless all the time... Think you aren't a match for him?" And there was that smirk again.
Reinhardt took hold of Boners' foot, grasping it like a man pleading his wife. "I will do it later, I promise, but now it's really embarrassing..."
Boners pushed his foot past Reinhardt's grip, settling it onto the human's face. Reinhardt's nose was pushed right into the cleft of the kobold's toes, filling his lungs with their pungent smell.
"You said I could call the shots, right? You were gonna be a good boy, right?" Boners's smirk stayed in place, his voice playfully cruel.
"Sheesh..." Reinhardt puffed, his breath tickling Boners's toes, but he started slowly peeling off his shirt revealing his hairy, toned chest. Boners lifted his leg just enough for him to slip the shirt over his head, then pressed his thick pawpads again on the man's lips. Their surface was hard and rough, but squishy from the inside, tasting of grass and mud and other things that the kobold had stepped in. Reinhardt knew he should rebel against this little thing grasping authority that did not belong to him, but he did not want to make his friend angry either. A ridiculous notion! He had not done anything wrong!
"Good boy..." Boners praised him like a beloved pet. He lifted his foot off of Reinhardt's face, and scooted up onto the knight's chest. "Now, the pants. Don't worry, you can put them back on after taking care of your little problem..." The kobold began to play with the buttons on his own pants as he spoke.
Hark, who had been waiting patiently by the door cleared his throat. "If you're finished soon we could take a look at the sleeping arrangements? No hurry though! We have plenty of time I'm just letting you know well in advance. Also please don't make our bed too messy if that's okay? Personally I don't mind but Resa loves fresh linen is all, sorry!"
Boners jerked, looking over toward the doorway. He sighed, and waved toward the bull man. "Alright, we're just about finished up. We'll be out in a minute."
Reinhardt hid his fiercely blushing face behind his hands. "We can never come back here. We have to move abroad and change identities,” he muttered, long past hope by now. "I'll become an organ grinder and you'll be my seeing eye dog, this is the only sensible plan left for us."
Boners hopped off of Reinhardt, settling beside the human and patting his stomach. "Cheer up, Reiny. By the way he was looking at you, he liked what he saw." Boner's smirk returned, and his tail began wagging. "Maybe you got the right idea about getting to know our new friends. How about this: sleep naked with me and all is forgiven?"
Reinhardt was resigned to his fate. He steepled his hands on his belly and stared at the ceiling. "So this is my life now. How it did come to this?"
Resa peeked into the room "I know!”
