White Chocolate Mocha: Chapter 1
#1 of White Chocolate Mocha
well, lets hope that this one actually sticks, unlike my other's, hope you guys enjoy, more to come "soon" hopefully!
"Come on Jay! Why do I have to come with you!?" I yelled, trying to get through the pulsating music ruining my poor sensitive ears to have the lynx I was following.
"Because! I'm not the one who needs to loosen up, I've got my own sexy beast of a man at home ready to give me what I want. You, on the other paw, do not. So we're going to get you some dick tonight!" He punctuated his statement by raising his paws in the air and giving out an obnoxious "WOOO!" I ducked my head to try to disassociate myself with him, but it was obvious, he was my friend, no matter how unruly he may be.
"But who says that I even need some dick, I'm doing just fine without it, aren't I?" Jay quickly turns around and looks me up and down before chuckling loudly.
"Haha! You're a funny one. Unless you've gotten some, I will not consider you fine, and if you don't get any tonight, which I don't know why you wouldn't," I could think of one furry reason off the top of my head, "you'll be coming back with me tomorrow and every night after that until we get some dick in you!"
"Who says I don't like getting some ass!?" I plead in defense. Again, he turns around, looks me up and down, and chuckles, only adding a raised eyebrow, for added effect. It worked perfectly to add to my agitation.
"First of all, with a sexy piece of Akita ass like yours, not putting it to use would be a shame, second, you like ass about as much as the bitches like dick." He refers to the dike of dogs to the side. "Now quit your lagging, and hurry up! You're slowing me down over here!"
"Ugh!" I grunt and then reluctantly follow the lynx through the crowd of furs to the bar where we take a seat next to each other.
"So, you see any cute guys?" He says mere seconds after he orders a drink and sits down.
"Uh, I don't know, I haven't noticed anyone, I guess." Nor did I try to, I'm only here to sate his strange obsession with hooking me up. To be completely honest, I kind of already have my eyes set of this fur that works at the coffee house. He's got such a toned Sheppie body, well defined and sophisticated voice, beautiful green eyes. If only he realized that I existed. I'm just a regular that walks in every morning with my laptop at hand and starts doing work with a white chocolate mocha going down my muzzle. Haha, what a cliché, falling in love with the barista. I'm truly pathetic. I'm fawning over a guy who ii almost have no chance, I mean really, look at him, sitting over there at the other end of the bar, sipping on his drink slightly, a mysterious look of angst on his face.
My eyes widen, and I blink the several times to ensure I haven't been day dreaming, but he's really here! Who would have thought that he would really be in a gay bar?! Why would he other than to try to pick up a guy! He's certainly not looking for any girls here, but he's really not looking like he's looking for anyone. Maybe he just had a tough day and he needed to unwind. Maybe I should go over and ask him whats up? But how would I introduce myself, "hey, I'm the guy in the morning with the laptop, I think you're sexy, wanna come home with me?" Certainly not! I shake my head and when I refocus I notice his eyes have shifted to me, then quickly back to the bottom of his glass. Did... did he notice I was kinda staring? Yeah, he did, he totally did. There goes my chance, now he must think that I'm strange, I don't really have much of a chance anymore.
He downs the rest of his drink in one swoop and leave money on the counter before getting up and fading into the crowd. Great, my one and only chance to get him and I blew it.
"Warning, six o'clock!" Jay shouts before swinging around on his bar stool and ordering another drink. I quickly turn around in to see what asshole is going to try to hook up with me tonight only to be met with those beautiful green eyes. My heart skips a beat and my eyes widen.
"Hey there, you're Dylan, right?" He says to me as he stops in front of me. I'm dumbstruck, why would he talk to me, I hardly know him. Well, no use in complaining! Its show time!.
"Uh, yeah, you're Reynold!" Damn it! I blew it! Why did I sound so excited?
"Yep! That's me, but call me Rey! So, I was wondering..."
"Mhm?"
"Why you didnt come over to talk to me, you spent enough time staring at me.
"I... uh... I!" I don't know! Nerves?
"Haha, don't worry about it man. Um, would you want to get out of here, its pretty hot, dark, and way too loud for any real conversation.
"Uh, sure!" I stand up eagerly as I follow him outside. After fighting through the crowd we find ourselves outside in the much cooler air. A cool breeze blows through my fur and gently tosses my head fur.
"Who was that fur with you?" I turn my head to the side to see him better, without the flashing lights and musty haze bothering me. He has his paws in his coat and is just looking at me with those wonderful emerald eyes of his. "Well then?"
"Oh, just a friend. He has some strange obsession with hooking me up."
"With a guy, I would presume due to your choice of bar?"
"Hehe, yeah, with a guy," I admit awkwardly, rubbing my neck with my paw. "And you? Why were you there?"
"I guess you could say that I wasn't feeling too good."
"You sick or something?"
"Haha, no, nothing like that," he says as he rubs his neck as awkwardly as I had.
"Then what is wrong?"
"Well, to be honest. When I gave you your white chocolate mocha this morning, you looked down yourself. I guess you could kinda say that I was worried about you. I thought something had happened, or that maybe you were tired of trying to flirt with me since I refused to respond to it, but you must understand that I have to keep my job stable. I can't go dating my customers! I've got to keep my coffee shop running, and open homosexuality, isn't the best way to do that." He stops and turns to look at me, staring deeply into my eyes.
"I'm sorry, but I really do like you, and I've just not been able to get a chance to tell you that. I hope that you could over see that, and, maybe let me buy you dinner some time?" His eyebrow lifts as a slight smile makes its way to his face. My heart is racing, my face is burning! I never thought that I would actually be hearing this from him. What else could I say?
"Don't worry about it. As for dinner, I would love to!" the German Shepard's ears perk up and his tail begins wagging frantically, as mine had already been doing.
"Perfect! How does Friday sound to you? That'll give me two days to get my schedule in order." He asks after a second of pondering.
"Hmm, I don't know, I don't believe that I have anything to do that night, sounds great!"
"Alrighty! I'll just give you my number so I could get your address, and I'll tell you the rest of the plans!"
"Haha, sounds like a plan!"
"Haha, great!" We stood there for a few moments before the silence broke.
"I think I should probably be headed home then," he finally said. "I've got to open up the store tomorrow sadly enough."
"Alright, yeah, that's probably a good idea. I should probably get headed home too, I've got some work to do tomorrow too, so, expect to see me in the morning again with my white mocha! I promise I won't be sad this time!"
"Haha, I'll hold you to that one! So, I guess, see ya then?" He said as he let out his paw for a shake.
"Uh, yeah, see ya tomorrow then." I accept his paw into mine, never having really touched it like this, only the slight grazes from the passing of change and my cup. Its soft, but slightly calloused, showing that he probably does more work beside working at the coffee shop.
"Haha, yeah! Tomorrow! See you, have a good rest of your night." He begins walking down the sidewalk and before long turns a corner. Seeing as Jay was my only ride, I returned to where I had left him to find him chatting up with some lesbian.
"Here he is right now! Hey lover boy! That was fast. What, did you guys only do paws in the alley or something? I knew you were too pussy to go all the way!" He nudged his girl friend as he laughed obnoxiously, it was obvious that I would have to drive him home and walk from there.
"Actually, for your information, I got his number, and a date for this Friday!"
"Haha, that's great Dyl, you did better than I expected to be honest!"
"Well, hurry up, you got what you wanted, let's leave, I have to work in the morning. Alright, but don't think you're getting out of telling me all about it, we still have the whole car ride home!" He continues his obnoxious laugh before getting up and making his way to the exit and finally the car where he hands his keys to me. "Haha, you drive, I'm tired."
I take the keys and get in the car and pull out of the parking space.
"So, spill!" he starts immediately as I get on the road. "Who is he, how do you know him, what does he do, does he drive, does he have a wife, what's he into, is he kinky?"
"What!?" The lighter orange fur around my face starts turning pink as I start blushing. "Um, he's the barista at my favorite coffee shop, he's there every morning and makes me a white chocolate mocha every day. Um, so, that answers the what he does question. I'm pretty sure he drives. And I don't know anything else, we didn't talk too much. I'll find out more on friday during our date."
"Ugh, you're boring, I would have known his blood type by now!"
"Well, I'm not you, I like taking things slowly!"
The rest of the ride was filled with idle chatter, most of which was him talking about what he's going to have Liam do to him when he gets home, some of which was surprisingly not completely sexual. When I finally pulled into his parking spot, I was relieved to be done with the ordeal. I got out of the car, locked it and handed him the keys.
"You sure you're gonna be okay walking home?"
"You really worry?! It's only a block away, I'll be fine, don't worry about it."
"Alright, just text me when you get home!"
"Jesus Christ! I'd swear you're my mother or something!"
"And don't forget to wear clean underwear!"
"Got it!" And I made my way home through the dark block dealing with the dangers of the occasional street light, fly, and "spooky" noise before finally getting to my apartment where I kicked off my shoes before flopping on my bed and pulling out my phone and texting Jay. "I'm home mommy!" the text read. I waited a moment for a reply, and after a good five minutes of nothing, I decided that he was probably already getting pounded by Liam so I removed the rest of my clothing before getting under the covers and letting myself slowly drift of to sleep.
