Baxley stood in his basement with all his weapons stacked on racks. He stroked the curved handled fishing dagger Onyx gave him fondly and started thinking about how his life was going so far. 'No more running from soldiers or guards. No more of getting shot at or getting cut. No dagger fights with complete strangers.' Baxley shook his head and walked over to one of his dagger racks and put the dagger back in its place. The black fox went upstairs to his room and went through his closet to find something to wear after he got out of the shower.

When Baxley had showered, dressed, and put his black and purple hair in a ponytail so it wouldn't get in front of his eyes and the way of him cooking breakfast. His cargo pants were dark green and his black shoes had a green trim to match them. Baxley also wore a purple studded collar with a pendant that said "Fox", hanging from it. He didn't have shirt on yet and he didn't care much. 'Like, someone's going to come to my house and ask for an autograph', thought Baxley with a chuckle. He finished cooking breakfast and sat down to eat.

A sound outside peeked the black fox's interests and he went to the window to see what it was. Baxley had pretty good eyesight from his training with the Black Paw. He saw... soldiers creeping through his forest, furs and humans alike. "What the hell are...?" A bullet came whizzing by the fox's head and shattered the window as he dove to the floor. "Ah, crap I had thought I was done with this stuff", growled Baxley as he ran upstairs to grab a green and purple striped shirt, black jacket and his emergency backpack which had some medical supplies, two extra daggers that wouldn't fit in the basement, and extra clothing in it.

Baxley ran back down stairs and then ran down some more stairs to his basement. "Okay, I'm going to need my harness", he said grabbing it. "Some throwing daggers, my bow is in the truck, and a fighting dagger." Baxley grabbed all the stuff he needed and put the daggers on his harness. He chose the fishing dagger Onyx had given him and his Black Paw dagger. Baxley heard his door crash to the floor and ran upstairs.

Soldiers came rushing in his home, guns raised. "Freeze, don't move or we will kill you, drop the backpack, and take off your jacket", ordered a human, eyeing Baxley with seriousness. The black fox growled, but complied with the man's orders. "I hope you enjoy the show", chuckled Baxley. "What, what show are talking about, fox", asked another soldier. Baxley smiled and drew two throwing daggers and threw them at two soldiers. He then grabbed his backpack, ran into his kitchen and dived out the window.

Baxley landed hard, getting some deep cuts in the process and a chunk torn out of his right ear. He ran to his truck, climbed in and started it. The soldiers fired at him as he sped out onto the path leading out to the city.

He was in the city, but was quickly running out of gas. Baxley looked in his rear-view mirror and saw that black cars were following him closely. He grabbed his emergency backpack, bow and quiver and got ready to bail out of his truck. Baxley made a sharp right turn, opened his door and dove out. The soldiers stopped and got out of their cars to chase him, weapons drawn and aimed at him. Baxley shot a few arrows before breaking off into a sprint.

While running down the street he saw a tribal-vinyled black Murcielago being chased by the same black cars and probably the same men that were after him. Baxley didn't have time to think about it as he was still being shot at and chased. He ran out into the street and got stopped by the black cars and felt defeated. Baxley began to raise his arms in surrender, but felt himself be yanked by his shirt and pulled into the black murcielago. He twisted his body around and saw who had saved him. It was his friend, Onyx. Baxley smiled and looked behind them to see the men were keeping up their pursuit. "Onyx", He yelled pointing towards an armored SUV. The car made a sharp left as it evaded the vehicle. Baxley ducked as he heard the back window break and more gunfire. The fox felt the car speed up and heard Onyx say, "Damnit! I'm so tired of being shot at."
