Since coming here from her world when she was just data, Kyubimon had learned that she could add a few new moves to her list as her life mate had shown her when he realized the potential she could have with her unique abilities.

Kyubimon shouted as she flung a ball of fire at him from her tails, the Pokemon seeming to give her a mocking dodge as though her attack was nothing before flying up and vanishing in a portal.

Looking after him as she wondered what he had been doing there, suddenly a voice caught her attention yet again. "Well done Renamon...I always could count on you huh?" the voice made her whip round to be confronted by a set of violet eyes that shone with suppressed tears. Before she could say anything, the girl that belonged to the eyes wrapped her arms round her furred neck and hugged her tightly and broke out in tears of happiness. "Renamon...I thought I would never see you again!" she cried out to her.

"R-Rika...what are...how?" Kyubimon said as she felt he own crystal blue eyes fill up with emotion; she thought she would never see her friend and partner again and now, she was here.

Pulling away Rika smiled at her, something she had seen very little of when with her in their world, it looked very pretty on her, she couldn't help thinking. "I don't know, I just saw this strange Pokemon whilst on my way back from school, it was almost like it as waiting for me when it opened up a portal, the same one that brought you here. Staring in numb shock, Rika didn't plan on this at all, she expected to be able to go back with her, to find her as Renamon and wanting to go back, not for her to have changed and fallen in love with a Pokemon. "I am already with cub though!" she growled in a feral tone, wishing she could breathe out fire like her lover could instead of lying and struggling helpless as she was dragged into their den, concealed by some tall weeds by three others as the leader led them back.

Unknown to them, a certain red headed tamer had seen what had happened and went belting off in search of Ninetales for help. "If that is yet more of those stupid bug Pokemon then I'll..." she stopped short as a Snorlax emerged from the trees.

"SnorLax" it grumbled before she stood on a particular plant it seemed to favour, suddenly going from placid to into a rage as it fixed her in it sight. "SNORRRRR" it roared before charging at her.

"N-NO, stop!" Rika cried out, closing her eyes and knowing this would be the end of her. To her surprise though it never came, instead she opened her eyes to see the Snorlax hovering in mid-air like an over-bloated balloon.

A handsome, white nine tailed Pokemon strolled casually out into the open with an angry look at the helpless Snorlax, before with a flick of his tails, sent him across the floor. Getting back up in an even worse mood, it roared and charged down the Ninetales, just for him to open his mouth and let a wave of viscous flames wash over the Snorlax before he stopped and collapsed from the attack.

Staring in awe at how powerful the Ninetales was, Rika remembered what she needed to do "excuse me, are you that Ninetales from before, the mate to my Kyubimon?" Rika said in somewhat of a hurried voice, adrenalin still pumping through her and nerves.

"Well that would do them no good, we have tried for months but not been able to get her with cub, but they will pay dearly for even so much as touching her, what I will do to them will...what?!" he said as he saw her tearing up.

He was momentarily distracted as Kyubimon stood beside him and arched her tails high before shouting "Fox Tail Inferno!" as Ninetales blasted his at the airborne canine Pokemon. Kyubimon's ghost fire seemed to meld with his Fireblast move, turning it purple before a it hit the group in a massive explosion, the shockwave causing the canine duo to crouch as it passed over them as the Pokemon bandits howled in pain as they flew well out of the forest.

As the dust settled, a red headed figure came crawling from some sheltering that Ninetales had ordered her to take. "Rika...you are the one that fetched Ninetales?" Kyubimon asked when her tamer stood there with clenched fists in silence.
