Natsuru and the Dino Posse Episode 9
And here's the last episode of Natsuru and the Dino Posse. I want to thank those who have read and enjoyed this series.
There he was; Skor, the red raptor that stood right in front of Natsuru. The dragon held a look of anger towards the raptor that almost his life. Balling his claws into fists, Natsuru was ready to attack Skor, until the raptor stopped him.
"Wait !", Skor. "Before we fight, how about we enjoy some snacks and drinks ? You'll be able to regain your strength, and we'll have a fair fight."
Skor moved aside to reveal a small table with two chairs and snacks and drinks. Natsuru looked at the contents on the table, and raised a brow up as he looked back at Skor. The raptor just held a smirk on his face.
"Don't worry, I can assure you that snacks and drinks are not poison; since I'll be joining you."
Natsuru decided to give Skor the benefit of the doubt, and trust his word; even though he thought he shouldn't. As the two reptiles took a seat, Natsuru began eating some of the snacks. The dragon was enjoying the treats, but he was also keeping his eyes on Skor as he chowed down. The raptor was also eating the snacks, just to prove to the dragon that the treats weren't poisoned. He then tried to stop the silence in the room by starting a conversation with Natsuru.
"So, I take it that you have been doing well with yourself. I must say, that I'm glad to see you alive and healthy, hehe."
"Well, I find that hard to believe, since you shot me behind my back."
"I know, but I did tell you that I didn't want to resort to such an underhanded attack. That is, if you were still conscious enough to here me back in the canyon."
"So, Skor, why are you trying so hard to take over this city ?"
"Who knows, maybe I want to rule over those humans and show them how I'm FAR superior to them. Maybe I want to remake this city into my own image of home. Or, maybe I'm just crazy."
"So, this isn't revenge for not having any party guest at your birthday party ?"
"Of course not; that would just be stupid."
"Of course it would."
"You know, dragon, you could join me in taking over Megaopolis, seeing as how you also don't belong here in this time."
"No thanks ! I know that I don't belong here, but even then I can't remember anything about my life before I got frozen. I've enjoyed my time here, especially with the Dino Posse; even if this whole mutant nonsense caught me by surprise. And besides, I'm not a psycho like you."
"I see and I also see that you have probably regained all of your strength.
After saying that, Skor quickly got out of his seat, and flipped the table over; causing Natsuru to get up into a fighting pose. Skor then equipped himself with two swords; one of which you tossed over to Natsuru. The dragon looked surprised by this, until he remembered that Skor wanted their fight to be fair. With not a moment too soon, the two reptiles ran towards each other, and clashed their swords together.
"Let's finish this, Skor, I'll defeat you and destroy that crystal."
"I'd like to see you try."
The two reptiles departed from each other, only to quickly rush towards each; their swords clashing with each other. Sword strike after sword strike were sent, as the two reptiles were trying to find the moment to strike an opening. When Skor found a chance to strike an opening, Natsuru quickly parried the attack, causing Skor to stagger. That's when the dragon made his strike on the raptor; a large scar was now across Skor's chest. Skor was now pissed, as he kicked Natsuru around the ankle; knocking the dragon onto the ground. He then tried to stab Natsuru, but the dragon quickly rolled out of the way. When Natsuru got back on his feet, he immediately when back to clashing blades with Skor. Without a moment too soon, Natsuru slashed Skor's sword out of his claws. The red raptor was now on the ground; Natsuru pointing his sword at Skor.
"It's over Skor ! Now, if you excuse me, I have a crystal to destroy."
Natsuru was now slowly walking over to the crystal, only this time he was making sure to watch his back. When he got close to the crystal, he was about to slash the crystal with his sword. Suddenly, a grappling hook grabbed the crystal, and was then brought over to Skor. The raptor stood up with the crystal in his claws.
"This battle is far from over, dragon. If you want to destroy this gem, then just try to destroy it off of me."
Skor then jabbed the whole crystal onto his chest. After coughing some blood, a surge of energy was surrounding the raptor, as he was getting stronger and buffer. Skor was laughing menacingly as was becoming mad with power. Natsuru brought his sword up, only for it to be knocked out and destroyed out of his claws.
"Ha ha haaaaa, now, dragon, let's see if you can destroy the crystal now."

Back in Megaopolis, the Dino Posse were still in their giant dinosaur hybrid form; fighting against the powerful gigantic mutant. The giant dinosaur hybrid sent a puch to mutant's face, only for the mutant to send a stronger punch at the gigantic dinosaur. Shaking its head, the giant dinosaur retaliatedby knocking the mutant onto its back. This made the mutant use its tail to grab the giant dino by its foot, and fall down. When the dinosaur getting back up, the mutant brought its fists down on the dinosaur; making the giant hybrid fall back to the ground. The mutant then picked up the dinosaur, and threw him a few distances away. As the dinosaur was making an effort to get up, it was suddenly blasted by a laser beam that came from the mutants. The giant dinosaur was now struggling to get, only for it to suddenly get rammed by the mutant.
The giant dinosaur hybrid laid unconsious on the ground. The mutant was dancing and clapping in joy at its work, and then started destroying more of Megaopolis. As the mutant was bust doing that, it wasn't aware that the giant dinosaur hybrid was getting back up. Looking around, dinosaur hybrid saw a tower and ripped the top part of it off. The hybrid then ran towards the mutant, and the swung the piece of the tower at the mutant, like as if it were playing baseball, and sending the mutant flying a couple of distances. The mutant pissed now, but by that point, the giant dinosaur hybrid ran up, and stabbed the sharp point of the tower throught the mutant's stomach, and out through its back.
The mutant was roaring in intense pain; large amounts of green blood was pouring out of its body, until the mutant finally collapsed dead on the ground. The giant dinosaur hybrid let a sigh of relief, as it decombosized back to the Dino Posse. Kane, Lucy, Jet, and Chow were panting after tough battle with the powerful mutant. Seeing that the mutant's body was still there, Kane fired his fossilizer at the mutant; turning the beast into fossil. With their job done, the Dino Posse decided to rest for a bit.

Back at Skor's lair, Natsuru was dodging every attack the raptor sending his way. It was very hard for the dragon to find a way to attack Skor, because the raptor was too fast for Natsuru, and Skor wasn't going to stop until crushes the dragon. Natsuru decided that it was time for him to stop fooling around and fight back as best as he can. So he manage to call on his twilight powers that he used against Skrap. By sheer luck, his eyes were glowing and his fists were surrounded by that twilight aura. The dragon then started to rapidly punch Skor in the chest, since that was where the crystal was at, but was shocked to that the crystal didn't shatter one bit.
"Was that suppose to hurt me", Skor shouted as swatted natsuru away.
"Damnit, why didn't break ?", Natsuru thought. "Maybe I should try another attack."
With what he had in mind, Natsuru was focusing more of his power to his feet, until they were also surrounded by twilight aura. The dragon then performed a jump kick at Skor's chest, but even that didn't shatter the crystal. Getting irritated, Natsuru decided to try another method. As he ran up to Skor, he dodged an attack that was coming his way, and started to rapidly punch and kick at the raptor with more power. However, those attacks barely scratched Skor, and the dragon went for another attack. This time, he headbutted the raptor in the chest, but that irritated Skor, and gave Natsuru a slight headache.
"You're starting to annoy me."
In his anger, Skor punched Natsuru so hard, that dragon went flying into the raptors monitors. As he was getting up, Skor was appeared quickly infront of the dragon, and kicked him away. The raptor then flashstepped to Natsuru, grabbed him by the neck, and then smashed him into the ground. As Natsuru laid beaten and bruised, Skor was laughing, the raptor was happy with the powers the crystal gave him.
"Hahahah, man this power is really off the charts. You know, dragon, all of this could have been avoided, if you would have just joined me in taking over Megaopolis. Let this be a lesson to you, evil always triumphs over good."
This appeared to be the end for Natsuru; the dragon was at his limit. Then suddenly, the dragon's body was surrounded by an aura of twilight. When Skor took notice of this, he was shocked to see that the dragon still had some energy left, but he decided to not worry about as he knew he was stronger Natsuru, and was ready for anything. However, to the raptor's surprise, Natsuru flew up to the raptor at blinding speed, and punched him in the face; strong enough to send Skor flying into a wall. When Natsuru was standing on his feet, he was surprised and amazed of how stronger he had gotten. He didn't believe that itwas all his training, but thought that this could have been his own powers that he couldn't remember.
"That hurt !", Skor said as he rubbed his face, and spat out some blood. "THAT ACTUALLY FUCKING HURT."
In his rage, Skor flew up to Natsuru, and kicked the dragon. However, Natsuru was quick to block the kick, but it was still was strong enough to push him back.
"Heh, is that all you got, you ugly bastard."
Skor was now really pissed at being called ugly, that when he roared, he called on all the crystal's powers, and had a red aura surrounding his body. Skor was now rushing towards the dragon with his fist charged; likewise Natsuru did the same thing, and when the two reptiles were in close enough range, they let fist collide with each other; which released a powerful force that practically destroyed Skor's lair. The two were rapidly punching and kicking each other, until they both punched each other in the face. Backing away from each other, the two reptiles were about demonstrate the full extent of their powers. Skor summoned and threw orbs of the crystals energy at Natsuru. Natsuru on the other hand, brought his claws together, charged up an attack, and fired an energy beam of twilight. When the two attacks collided, there was a large explosion that blew the two reptiles away, and destroyed the rest of Skor's lair. Natsuru and Skor were both at their limit; they were panting hard, had bruises all over their bodies, and small trails of blood was going down their bodies. Out of the two, Skor was not willing to give up, as he walked over to the dragon, and picked him up by the back of his head.
"You think you've won, don't you. You may have destroyed my lair, but you failed to destroy the crystal, which I still. I should finish you right here, right now. What do you have to say to that ?"
Instead of getting an answer, Natsuru smirked at Skor. The raptro was confused by this, until he noticed a small glow underneath him. He looked down to see that the dragon still had some energy left in him, to charge up an attack in his right claw. Skor's eyes widen as Natsuru released the attack at the crystal on the raptor's chest; completely destroying the crystal an causing Skor to release him, as he dealt with some major damage. A couple of minutes had passed when Natsuru regained his consciousness; he took noticed at Skor's unconscious body on the ground, which had gone back to its original shape. Giving off a sigh of relief for a job well done, Natsuru unfolded his wings, and started flying back to his friends.

Back in Megaopolis, the Dino Posse had regained all their strength after their hour long rest. As they were getting up, they took noticed of someone or something walking up towards them. They gasped in surprised when they realised it was Natsuru; holding his left arm and covered in bruises. The four dinosaurs rushed up to help their dragon friend. They were relieved to see that he didn't suffer any serious injuries. They asked if he had defeated Skor, and destroyed the crystal. Instead of an answer, the dragon just smiled, and gave a thumbs up. Happy to know that the crystal was destroyed, they all grouphugged each other and luaghed.
A few hours had passed when Natsuru and the Dino Posse returned to their base in the museum. Edgar and Polly were excited to see their friends had made it through that tough battle. And thanks to Natsuru's help, the Dino Posse decided to make him an honorary member of their posse. The dragon was given some kung fu clothes, just like the Dino Posse. His pants were black, and his karate gi was red with a green firery design on it. Natsuru was happy; he may never remember where he came from, or how was frozen, but he felt at home, with his new friends that would also be his family.

Back at Skor's destroyed lair....
"Oh no, those monsters, they killed my brother, nooooooooooo."
"Oh shut up, Skrap, I'm not dead."
"Horayyyyyyyyy, you're alive !"
"I know, I just said that."
"So, Skor, how do you feel ?"
"I feel like I am in some serious pain. Man, that was some battle."
"So, big brother, what are we gonna do now ?"
"Well right now, we should focus on rebuilding my lair."
"Uhhhh, don't you mean our lair ?"
"Oh what ever; where are those Links."
"Over there; still sleeping."
"Well, wake them up, it's us going to take us a long time rebuild my lair."
"You mean our lair."
"Oh shut up !"

And that ends Natsuru and the Dino Posse. I really those who have this whole series has enjoyed it; even if it felt rushed. I am deciding about writing two bonus episodes, that are in no way related to this whole series. Please rate and leave a comment.
