Tournament of Transformation - Round 2, Final
#9 of Tournament of Transformation
At last, the conclusion of the second round of the Tournament! Congratulations to our winner!
Tournament of Transformation - Round 2, Final Part
"Welcome back to what is shaping up to be a rather climatic conclusion to Round 2!" Chrono said with a smile as he rolled his chair back towards the mall map. "Kurai had gotten quite the lead with the other three neck in neck! How long it stays that way is up to them though, as we head into the final part of the round! As always I'll be here to give you the play by play of all our players, except of course when we go down to the field and see it first-hand. Plus since we're in the final round or 'sudden death' portion of our game we will have all the contestant's latent transformed states increase by 5% for each round. If someone reaches 100% and no one has their statue, they can continue to play until someone finds it and knocks them out of the round. We also have word that there will be a special head to head planned for the remaining two by Renzyl himself, so that should certainly prove to be fun to watch."
As the silver raptor looks up once more at the mall map the four dots continue to move, narrowly missing one another as the moved into the various boxes that denoted shops. "Well it looks like our four contestants are spending this round stocking up, Merali at the candle store and Rhodes at the shops around the fountain." He commented. "Both Kurai and Kon manage to evade their pursuers for this round, which means that the transformation is starting to stack up for Rhodes and Merali! Can they find them before they become them I wonder? Perhaps Merali could give Kurai some money then, the poor fox-dragon is so tapped he can't afford to buy the item at the store he's in!"
Chrono looked up and saw two sets of the dots start to converge on one another. "Uh oh, looks like we're about to have a bit of conflict resolution here. The other two had better get their statues back soon, or else they're going to see something quite different when they look in the mirror. But enough of my yapping, let's go down to see this potentially game changing event!"

Rhdoes stopped for a second and sat down at one of the wooden benches placed in the large hallways of the mall. He wasn't tired, he just had to wait for his legs to finally fuse completely together before he could go on. The transformation into Drakocon had accelerated after he lost to him at the music store, the purple scales had traveled from his completely transformed arm down his side and to his legs. Once they had reached passed his thigh the flesh between them started to knit together, which caused his pants to rip at the seams to make way for the huge snake tail. It wasn't painful, in fact the changes were quite arousing, especially when he felt his cock and balls become enveloped in snakeflesh, but it slowed him down considerably until it finally finished.
After the last of his feet melted into a blunt tail tip he stood up once more, but nearly fell over as he got used to his new balance. "Careful!" A passerby snow leopard said as he caught the newly created naga, then helping him stay straight up. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, thanks." Rhodes replied as he steadied himself with the leopard's help. After the initial sense of strangeness he found his new muscles seem to automatically work to keep him upright, making his new form of locomotion feel almost natural. He turned back to thank the man again only to find that he had already moved on. At first he thought that was the end of it, until the snow leopard stopped and grabbed his arm.
Rhodes could only watch with his mouth agape as the stranger's fur melted into his arm before it turned a shiny purple. The transformation was so quick that the guy didn't even fall over when his legs merged together, his clothes bursting apart as the guy looked down at himself in awe. When he was finished his transformed body looked exactly the same as his, except instead of his human body being assimilated by the draco-naga's form it was a snow leopard's. Several furs that had seen what happened stopped to help him, holding him upright as he motioned that he was fine. When those good Samaritans left, Rhodes could see scales began to form on those that actually made contact with the changed snow leopaga.
"It's... contagious?" Rhodes balked as he saw the other infected mall patrons stop and hold onto the sides of walls and benches as their legs fused and became covered in purple scales. The strangest thing was that other than the initial shock of their transformation no one seemed to be alarmed by it. Something about the clone transformation itself seemed to alter not only the memories of those affected but also by those who witnessed it as well. It made sense; the masses were there to make sure that they behaved in the public but not to ruin the fun for the spectators.
The changing human quickly shook his head and continued onward, honing in on his target. It brought him to a small tattoo and piercing parlor nestled between two larger department stores. He slithered his way over and opened the door, the chime ringing as he held it in order to get the several feet of his new tail in through the opening.
At that same time, Kon had been looking through one of the books that a large, gruff bear man had given him. "So you say that all these tattoos are magical in some nature?" He asked the bear before he heard the tone, watching the new naga that was Rhodes approach him with an angry look on his face. "Rhodes! ...how are you enjoying the new tail?"
"Not as much as I'm going to enjoy taking my statue from you." Rhodes replied as he pulled something out of his pocket.
"Hey, there will be no violence here!" The bear behind the counter said as he leaned forward. "If you want to get your statue back then you're going to have to challenge him, I have just the idea too..."
"I don't think so." Rhodes replied as he showed the object in his hand, what appeared to be a simple silver coin with the head of a dragon one side and the tail of a dragon on the other. "I bought this at the shops around the fountain; it's called a wishing coin. All I have to do is flip it and it'll grant my wishes, which will hopefully not only allow me to get my statue back from you, but also to acquire yours. It cost me quite a few Renzyl bucks, but I think it's worth it."
Kon gulped slightly as the coin rested on his thumb, though he could see that there was a moment of hesitation that is unexpected. A sudden thought crossed his mind, one that caused him to smile slightly. "Is there something wrong?" The draconaga said.
"Shut it." Rhodes said before he let out a small sigh. "I guess I may as well tell you, the coin only has only half a chance of granting my wishes. There is a chance that..."
"It will grant mine." Kon said happily. Even though he wasn't in control of his fate there was a chance that something good might actually happen. He could see that Rhodes was in trouble, the purples scales that covered his entire body had started to creep up his abs and towards his chest. The only things left were his other arm, most of his body, and his head, and the transformation continued to accelerate even before his eyes. "Go ahead then, flip the coin."
Even though Rhodes did not want to let his rival see him afraid, he couldn't help but feel a tremor shake through his body as he held the coin. It was the most surefire way to get the advantage, but if it backfired... finally after one last deep breath he flipped the coin in the air. Both contestants watched with bated breath as the silver coin glinted as the metal flipped through the air. All he needed was for it land heads and he would be winning.
The coin landed on the tile floor with a dull thud, flipping back into the air several times before it finally settled on one side. Both creatures looked down at the coin, anxiously looking to see what fate befell them. A loud shout suddenly rang throughout the store, Rhodes putting his hands in the air as they saw that the coin rested on heads. Kon looked down to see that the statue that he had clutched onto was gone and his scaled hands were bare.
Rhodes looked down at his own hands to see his prize, Kon's statue, only to find that they were empty as well. "Son of a bitch." He muttered before his entire body shuddered, nearly falling to his face as his naga tail melted down the middle and divided back into two legs. He covered up his exposed cock as the scales disappeared into smooth human flesh once more, which started to grow hard as the transformation reversed itself. It felt good he would have started to stroke himself had it not been for the two other males that looked at him, but he didn't hide himself either as he closed his eyes and felt the In a short time he was back to his normal form, rubbing the fur on his arms that he had acquired earlier in the game as the tattooist tossed him a pair of leather pants and a shirt to wear. "Well, I guess we're off again."
"I guess so." Kon replied before the two ran back out into the mall, slowing down as they went back into traffic. Much to the human's relief he found that everyone hadn't turned into nagas, the condition hopefully disappearing with his as they parted ways.

(Contestant: Merali, Transformation: 68%, Cash: $386, Location: Music Store)
(Contestant: Kurai, Transformation: 23%, Cash: $56, Location: Music Store)
Kurai stealthily snuck back into the movie theater part of the mall, keeping to whatever shadows he could find as he kept a lookout for Merali. So far he hadn't seen hair or hide of the flying fox herm, which was fine by him. After his brief but unsatisfying run-in with Rhodes he vowed to never to find himself in the same situation again. The ushers paid him no mind as he snuck into the theater itself, some sort of action-movie playing on the screen as he went up to the front towards the alternate exit. He knew if he could just keep moving... a small smile played on his face as he looked down at the statue in his hands, the bat-girl almost unrecognizable with all the alterations on hir body now.
As he tried the exit on the bottom of the theater he found it to be locked. "Well that's a fire hazard." He muttered to himself as he started back towards the front. But before he could make it back past the first road he heard the door open, and when he saw who it was he quickly ducked behind the seats.
"I know you're in here..." he heard hir say, though hir voice had changed considerably. It sounded... a lot like him. As he risked taking a look down the hallway his mouth went agape as he saw Merali. Hir breasts had been almost completely disappeared by this point, as well as her curves. In fact, other than hir head it looked like he had just walked through the door. "Just give me back the statue and everything will be ok."
Kurai just shook his head and knelt back against the seat, gripping his head as he tried to figure how to get out of the situation. As the wheels of his mind turned a spark of inspiration hit him and he took out what looked to be a small incense burner in the shape of a dragon. He carefully unscrewed the top and bottom parts of the dragon, then put a small cone of incense labeled 'Dragon's Blood' into the small bowl in the center. He could hear the sounds of Merali as shi searched for the fox-dragon, slowly advancing on his position as he pulled out a small lighter. As slowly as he could he sparked the flame, holding his breath and praying that the sound wasn't loud enough for the fox-bat to hear. When it appeared that he had gotten away with it he lit the cone and screwed the top back on, then carefully moved to the other side of the theater as smoke began to pour out of the burner's nostrils.
Merali had begun to move down the aisle of the theater, carefully checking each row while at the same time keeping an eye on the exit to make sure the other contestant didn't make a run for it. Shi knew shi didn't have much time left, most of hir luxurious fur and voluptuous curves had been replaced by the fox-dragon's effeminate build. In fact the only things that she could really see that were left was a bit of meat on hir chest, hir feminine sex, and hir head. If shi didn't get him now shi might lose, and there was no way shi was going to let that happen...
As shi got closer and closer to the front shi noticed what looked like smoke coming from behind the first row of theater seats. Merali rushed forward, hoping to catch the fox-dragon in whatever he was planning to do before he did it and reclaim hir statue. What shi found, however, was only an incense burner with a plume of wispy white smoke hovering above it. As shi was about to turn and dart back towards the entrance when the smoke quickly took the form of an Eastern Dragon. It coiled on itself as its body continued to lengthen outwards towards hir, and before shi could even move the smoky dragon surrounded hir completely.
Merali was suddenly inundated with the smell of the incense, overwhelming her other senses as the dragon wrapped around hir body. It was surprisingly solid as it ensnared hir, hir eyes becoming heavy-lidded as the smell began to drag down hir consciousness. Shi could also feel something else that was most curious, as the insubstantial body continued to writhe around hir shi could feel tendrils begin to tease hir sensitive areas. From hir chest down to hir groin it was like a thousand hands were groping and massaging hir all at once. Shi let out a little sigh as one of the larger ones slipped into hir femsex while a second wrapped around hir cock and began to stroke it.
There was a brief pause as the dragon's face came right in front of hirs, its pupil-less eyes staring straight into hirs before its lips pressed against hir own. Even with hir lips shut Merali could feel the sensation of a tongue-like appendage in hir mouth, and as shi opened hir mouth it became surprisingly solid as it swirled around hir maw. The embrace was surreal, even with hir clothing on it was like shi was wearing nothing at all as the mysterious dragon entity continued to tease hir sexual organs.
As Merali felt hir smoke-enveloped cock get stroked shi unbuttoned hir pants, moving hir own hand down as hir lusts were stoked with each inhale. As shi rubbed hir hand against hir groin though that pleasure turned to panic as shi found that hir feminine folds had disappeared, feeling nothing but fused flesh behind hir sack. It was enough to snap him out of the smoke-induced delirium, struggling against the thick coils that were wrapped around hir body. After several tried the smoke dragon disappeared on its own, leaving hir with hir pants down and hir cock still jutting out as shi stuffed it back into hir pants.
"I'm going to get him for this." Merali nearly growled, though hir voice was no longer hir own as shi marched back up the alley. But as shi reached the door shi groaned, a sensation similar to the one shi had just experienced coursing through hir body. Unlike before though it seemed to center around hir mind, strange thoughts and foreign memories flooding hir senses as shi struggled to maintain hir focus. As shi stumbled through the doorway shi could feel hir face shifting in hir hands, struggling to hang on to hir mental self as it slipped away...
"Sir?" The nearby usher said as he approached him. "Oh, you again, are you ok Mr. Kurai?"
"I'm fine." The fox-dragon said as he lifted his hands away from his face, looking down at his hands for a second before shaking his head and looking back up at the usher with a smile. "Thanks for your concern, but I'm okay now. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a contest to win."
************************************************
"And we're down to three!" Chono shouted as the colored dot that represented Merali finished turning into the same color that Kurai's was. "As we go into the sudden death portion of the round Kurai is going to have a huge advantage over the other two, plus he is the least transformed of the three! Is the fox-dragon too far ahead to be caught up to, or will one of the other two contestants be able to pull away with a huge upset? Plus who knows what I will be heading down to the tournament stage myself to help Master Renzyl with the sudden death explanation, so without further ado let us go to Sudden Death!"

"Attention mall shoppers, the mall will be closing now." All four contestants heard over the mall's intercom. "Will Kurai, Drakocon, and Rhodes please come to the food court, your party is waiting for you. Kurai, Drakocon, and Rhodes to the food court."
After a few minutes the group had arrived at the now abandoned food court, each of them looking at each other and the transformations they had undergone during the game. Both Rhodes and Drakocon were shocked when a second Kurai came to join the first, looking at each other with a note of concern. Whatever was in store for them they knew they were at the disadvantage now, and the question was to work together to try and take down the dominant contestant first, or to continue the free for all and see who comes out on top.
Before they even had to chance to formulate such a plan the lights in the food court suddenly went out, all accept for the backlights of the stage that also had artificial smoke pouring out from it. The sound of an electric guitar could be heard suddenly, as well as the sound of a synthesizer as figures could be seen rising up from the stage itself. As the four contestants moved closer to the stage the lights came on, with Renzyl in the foreground with a microphone headset and electric guitar while Chrono played the drums in the background, as well as a gold and white anthro dragon on guitars and a cobra-hooded lizardman on the synthesizer.
"It's the Final Countdown!" Renzyl sang as they played, causing the four to look at each other as the latex dragon walked forward and smiled down at them. "Every store in this mall has a statue in it now that can be easily seen, and for every statue you grab you further the transformation of your rival. But you're going to have to pay for them, and if you don't have enough money you'll have to work it off in the store which will slow you down quite considerably. If you're the one that has their statue when they reach critical mass then they turn into you and its game over for them. As you can see Kurai has a bit of an advantage right now, but a good strategy can always turn the tide of the game. So good luck!"
The band of latex lizardmen continued to play as the four scattered, though the two Kurai's took a second to strategize before they too went off in separate directions. The original fox-dragon looked down at his mall card in dismay, knowing that there wasn't a lot left on it and that if he came up to an expensive statue he was going to have to work for it. Luckily his clone had plenty of money on hand, so it depended on him in order to keep the momentum of their winning streak going.
As they ran into the first shops they found both Rhodes and the second Kurai were disappointed to see that their own statues were on display, which forced them to move on. Kon, however, began to grin when he saw a Kurai statue on the pedestal, especially when he saw the price tag on it was less than twenty dollars. At the same time though, the first Kurai had similar luck in finding one of the draco-naga's, though his was far more expensive. "I only have eight dollars left..." he said with some dismay as he looked at the slip of paper, then nearly dropped the receipt as he saw a flash of purple scales on his arm.
"C'mon Kurai statue." Rhodes muttered as he went into the next shop, making a beeline straight for the pedestal. His stomach sank slightly when he saw the draco-naga's crystalline form instead, though the price was only six dollars he also didn't want to bring his competitor one step closer to getting ensnared by the Kurai twins that were running about. But... if it was him that finished the job, he would have quite the ally in finishing off the rest of his competition. As he went up to pay for it, however, his own body twitched slightly as he briefly felt fur covering his entire body. His time was drawing to a close, he realized as he grabbed the receipt from the lizardman behind the counter, and he needed to hurry.
Drakocon had considered himself lucky, even though he had to shell out another eighty dollars he had managed to get another huge leap in Kurai's transformation, feeling the electric energy course through his body as the statue disappeared. A small smile crossed his face as he passed by the sweets shop, seeing one of the two Kurai's scrubbing out one of the huge bowls that were used to mix sweets in. That meant that one of the two had run out of money, which meant that it would give him far more time to find more of their statues. Unfortunately the next one he came across was his own, which was a waste of his own time. He began to wonder how Rhodes was faring as he went into the shop after that, especially when he saw the statue of him on the next pedestal...
Rhodes let out a small gasp as he was nearly knocked off his feet, grabbing onto the nearby wall for support. He had just nabbed two Kurai statues in a row, though the energy in them was rather low he considered himself to be on quite the streak. But just as he was about to leave he nearly tripped over his own feet, and when he looked down to see what happened he found that he no longer had feet. "Oh no, not yet..." he pleaded as the purple scales traveled up his body, his physiology changing underneath the onslaught. He could feel horns begin to grow out from behind his ears as his face pushed out into a muzzle... but in the next second it snapped back, leaving him his human self once more. "Too close..." he said as he breathed a small sigh of relief, though the next transformation might very well be permanent...
Kurai grimaced in frustration as he left yet another store that had one of his statues in it, feeling his own transformation into one of the other two growing. His advantage was not as big as he thought, he realized as he ran down the atrium to the next store, since Merali's statues were now his statues that meant he only had a fifty percent chance of finding one of the other two's statues. Plus with the original Kurai almost completely out of money that meant that it was mainly up to him to win the sudden death match.
As Rhodes raced out of the store, dismayed when he found his own statue, he suddenly felt a deep throbbing in his mind that caused him to pause slightly. Foreign thoughts began to invade, bringing memories that were not his own as his body began to twist. "Shit..." he muttered, seeing fox fur begin to creep over his body once more. But as he tried to fight off the mental incursion his legs also began to meld together, forming into a single long tail. His dwindling consciousness realized that both Kurai and Drakocon must have found his statue at around the same time... the magic interfering with one another as it twisted his body. He knew in the end though that one would win out, his face pushing out into an angular fox muzzle before rounding out and becoming more reptilian in nature. He let out a loud shout as his personality was washed away, replaced by the form his body finally settled on...
*********************************
"And we are down to two!" Drakocon suddenly heard over the loudspeaker as the cashier was swiping his card, paying for yet another one of Kurai's statues. "The two remaining contestants are neck and neck now!" The draco-naga could hear the sound of hardly muffled snickering, which caused him to raise an eyeridge in question before his entire body convulsed. The now-familiar sensation of his naga body quickly disappeared as it shortened dramatically, the scales turning to fur as a huge cleft formed in what remained. The draconic cashier ran around and helped steady him as he went back to a bipedial formation, though as his cock slid out of his body they were definitely not the ones he started with.
After graciously accepting a pair of pants he ran to the nearest reflective surface, his head the only thing purely draconic thing left with the recognizable build of the fox-dragon's body from the neck down. As he looked closer even his head had partially transformed, his horns smaller and fur spreading up around his chin and neck. He didn't take too long to gawk at himself, since his body was more prone to transformations he had to try and get Kurai first before his clones found too many of his statues.
As the nearly-turned dragon ran out of the shop and back down to the concourse he noticed a strangely familiar sight on the walkway below him. It was an exact duplicate of him running across one of the skybridges over to the other side of the mall. Taking a closer look he realized that it was once Rhodes, his telltale red scarf with an anarchy symbol draped around his neck. Kon took a small breath of relief when he saw his clone, which meant that it had truly become a two on two match instead of the three versus one he had feared. The end was in sight, he figured as he ran on, all he needed now was one last push...
A few minutes later Kurai sighed as he slithered out of yet another shop, dismayed to see his own statue yet again in the clothing boutique he had went into. It had taken him a few seconds to get used to the naga body he had gotten from Drakocon, everything from the bottom of his neck down covered in shiny purple scales. As he went towards the next shop he saw a very familiar face coming towards him, the other Kurai having a similar look of frustration as they passed by. "No luck?" He asked, to which his clone shook his head.
"Two stores I've gone into, both have been our own statue." He said. "If we don't find one soon..."
The original Kurai was about to reply when they both suddenly stopped, a pleasurable tingle filling their bodies as the fur of their necks flattened and the scales on their body crept upwards. They swept up the back of their heads and over their foreheads, feeling a slight pressure on their skulls as a pair of horns grew outwards. Once the transformation had finished they looked at each other in astonishment, their faces the only thing that had remained unchanged from the sweeping transformation. "We need to find one now." They said in unison before they split up once more.
*****************************************
Drakocon sighed as he looked at the card he had given him, his money nearly completely spent from the last statue that he had bought as he adjusted the bandana around his neck. At the rate he was going he was only going to be able to buy one or two more statues, and without seeing Kurai he wasn't sure whether or not that was going to be enough. He wondered if the other Kon was having more luck, especially as he felt a tingling on the sides of his head as the flesh there warped into a pair of fox ears.
As he went into a store that sold sweets he was ecstatic to find that there was another Kurai statue on the pedestal, just waiting for him like the candy he was surrounded by. He quickly snatched it up and brought it to the counter, where the white-scaled lizardman rung him up. "That will be ninety-two dollars please." He said with a smile.
"Oh wow that's expensive..." Drakocon said, hesitating for a second as he looked at his card. If he bought the statue now it would mean that he would have to probably work for the next one, which would cost him precious time. But... if he skipped it and moved on, he might not find another one at the next store or worse yet Kurai could knock him out of the competition. After a few moments of mental debate he handed the card over to the clerk, who swiped it and handed him his receipt.
"Have a great day!" The lizardman called out as he left the building. Drakocon waved and started to move onto the next store when he suddenly stopped, his vision starting to spin. His heart raced as he could feel the telltale signs of his body beginning to shift again, closing his eyes as his body heated up. It was over, he realized sadly as his entire skull softened and reformed, he had just lost his spot in the tournament. His breathing quickened as he fell to the ground, waiting for the changes to finish as his bones and flesh shifted underneath his ripping skin.
When the changes finally ceased he opened his eyes, looking around in confusion when he realized that he identified himself as... himself. He looked down at his hands to find the familiar purple scales there, testing them out experimentally as he walked over to one of the mall windows. Not only had his body been restored, he realized, but the changes that he had experienced while in the mall were gone as well. He was even back in the clothing he had started with, and though he kind of missed the naga tail he was grateful to be back to his old self again.
"Will Drakocon please report back to the food court. Drakocon to the food court." He heard over the loudspeaker. As he started to move back towards the center of the mall the clerks began to file out of the stores, almost all of them some kind of lizardman as they began to clap and cheer while he passed. Soon he was also greeted by another Drakocon, the two purple dragons giving each other a small grin as they walked together down the atrium walkway while they heard 'We are the Champions' being played over the loudspeakers.
It wasn't long before the two were joined by a third Drakocon, then a fourth as the crowd in the corridor grew more and more boisterous. When they reached the food court the band had finished their song, Renzyl's guitar evaporating in a plume of black mist as he hopped off of the stage and strode towards the four dragons. "Well well, looks like I'm going to have to pick a winner now." He said with a smirk as he pretended to have to choose between the four identical clones before turning to the crowd.
"I am very pleased to announce that the winner of round two of the first ever Tournament of Transformation is Drakocon! Congratulations on your come from behind victory." Renzyl said as he shook the original Drakocon's hand, and then led him forward. "If you'll just come with me, I'll lead you to the winner's circle to await the final round."
With a wave of his hand the air shimmered, the two of them disappearing and the portal quickly closing behind them. The cheering of the lizardmen stopped the second they left, eyeing the three remaining identical dragons as they licked their lips and began to disrobe...
******************************************
"Well there you have it!" Chrono said, back behind the desk. "The second round has been officially concluded with Drakocon just squeaking past Kurai for the win with just a three percent difference in their transformations. He will be joining Delta in the final round along with two others, and as we speak we're already firing up for the start of round three! From everyone here in the realm between realms we thank you for watching and hope you'll tune in again!"
