'I don't want to ruien their christmas eve with fighting, we are all better off if I don't show up.' His father made a move with his hand. 'Fair enough.' They continued their breakfast in silence for a few minutes with Nick reading his paper and his father listning to the jolly morning radio playing happy christmas songs.
