Guardians
Disclaimer: This is your chance to turn back if you are even one day short of being legally eligible to delve into the wonderfully diverse and perverse universe of adult rated material so lovingly called "pron" in most furry circles.
If you have earned your right of passage and wish to do me the honor of faping to this be warned. This is a rare example of gay furry erotica. To tell the reader what kind of sexual adventures are in store for the characters would be to give away the plot and the element of surprise... Of course there are those handy little tags here on fury affinity to make sure someone looking for a piece about TENTACLES won't be disappointed.
ONE MORE NOTE!!! If you are familiar with the character Shello, a pink male husky with black tipped ears for whom this piece is a gift, you know him as being one of the younger characters to be found. I am not, in any way, depicting an age difference between his character and mine greater than 2.999999 years. My inspiration for writing comes from RP, and the rule we have is that we are developmental equals, and though I may call him a 'pup' we are not to use the word puppy. In other words, this is not cub porn.
Here's the set up folks:
Shello is a smallish Husky with a big heart. Pink with a white underbelly and black hair he has what some call striking looks, nicely complimented and tempered by his clear blue eyes. He enjoys dressing for comfort around his home rather than for having company over. Then again, if he does have you over for company and you happen to be one of his closer friends he may not come to the door in much more than his panties. His house has many state of the art luxuries.
Ricky is a Grey Kangaroo with a small light build, the geeky college student with a metabolism to be envied but very little muscle. He's a botany major (he studies plants) who spent the day studying in his university's "herbarium" which is a vast collection of dried and pressed plants using enough shelf space to be larger than most libraries. His secret obsession is in compiling the strange disjointed, yet essentially identical accounts of a strange rainforest plant. If the yellowed articles, letters, and journals are to be believed, there is some type of plant with vines, tendrils, stems, or leaves depending on the account, that move more like the limbs of an octopus or squid than slow moving relatives. Why does he keep his growing but pitifully small body of research a secret? Cause he would be a laughing stock around the greenhouse if he told anyone. Another frustrating and seemingly fruitless day among the ancient specimens has somehow lodged a few dormant seeds into his fur.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once upon a time...
Ricky panted trying to wet his throat with the rain streaming down his muzzle. The kangaroo was bent double with his head bowed against the wind and rain he splashed through puddles. *Stupid, stupid, stupid!* His jaw was set with determination as he calculated the closing distance between him and his friend's house and the rate at which his thick grey hoodie was becoming wet. Mostly he wondered how much longer the yellowed papers he held against the fur of his chest would stay dry. It was as though his life depended on it.
After what seemed like an eternity in running beyond his highly un-athletic limits, the familiar mailbox came in sight. Shello was one of the many furs who thought it was clever to put up a "Beware of the Dog" sign being, of course, an anthro husky. Despite his situation, or perhaps because of it, he could not suppress a smile. Rather than unlatching the gate the kangaroo simply bounded over the fence in his haste. His eyes went wide as he saw his fate decided before he could alter it. His paws came down in the now muddy path from the gate to the front of the house, slick as cake batter from the rain. His legs slid right out from under him in the mud as his arms flew out to catch himself. He let go of his middle where the papers were sheltered from the rain under the one dry patch left on his hoodie. The student cried out as the loose papers flew into the air. His cry was cut short, landing on his back with a splort and continuing to slid up the path. The faded pages and scraps of paper fluttered down onto the wet lawn and into the mud all around the winded roo. He closed his eyes then thought he heard paws pattering along inside the house, rushing to see what the commotion was all about. His ears made him dimly aware of the knob turning and the door swinging open. A familiar voice brought him out of his shocked stupor.
"Ricky?" He tried to reply but his lungs seemed to not be up to it just yet. It steadily dawned on the husky, who was the only fur who Ricky had ever shared the contents of his work with, which papers were turning to pulp in the heavy rain. Shello rushed to his friend's side frantically and despite what certain slanderous writers might have you think was wearing some blue shorts and a white t-shirt. The back of his t-shirt rapidly revealed his pink fur as the heavy rains plastered it to his body. He yelped and whined running his paws over the wet and muddy marsupial gulping for air and then finally managing to gasp.
"Papers!" With a jolt both began to swing into action, desperately trying to gather together the completely wet pages that were turning to mush before their eyes. After a little more than half of the sad, hopeless papers had been placed on the steps out of the rain the roo stood up, shaking, and looking around. It was silly. Every last page had been washed of the ancient ink. Only the most recent ones had been readable to the unaided eye before this. It was pointless. He sloshed over to the wet and shivering husky still doing his best to pick up a page that was pierced on the stiff blades of grass as it dissolved. He lay a wet paw on his shoulder as he bent down. His voice came out trembling.
"They're gone hun. Th-thank you for trying so hard, but they're all gone." Shello stood up. The yellowed rectangle of stacked pages that he had cradled in his arm fell in two pieces and slipped from his paws into the mud. For a moment there seemed to be no sound other than the drumming of the rain on their pinned back ears. The huskies blue eyes met the roo's green ones in a moment of shared loss. The canine shivered.
"I k-know how much they meant to you hun. You wrote down everything, all the clues." He smiled and shivered more strongly, his teeth beginning to chatter while he tried to sound cheerful. "You don't miss a thing hun, half the time you try and explain some new clue all I can do is be impressed cause I don't understand it." He couldn't stop shivering, not sure what to make of the silent roo. "If it's out there, you'll find it, I know you will." The rain trickled down through the last dry parts of the huskies fur now that he was standing straight. The sensation would not let him suppress a whine of discomfort. The soft sad sound finally roused the stunned student from his trance. He shook his and started shivering himself, then spoke urgently.
"Oh Shello I'm so sorry! You're chilled to the b-b-bone. We can clean up this..." He choked down a sob that was sneaking up on him. "This mess later on." They both shook as much of the mud, water, and pulp from themselves then jumped to the shelter of the porch where the door still stood open, the wonderful alluring vanilla scent of the house wafting past their wet noses. They shed their heavy wet clothes at the door, doing a hasty job of wringing them out onto the porch step as they shivered uncontrollably, spiked fur standing on end. Neither fur was in any state of mind to take much note of one another's undergarments. Luckily, your narrator is on the job.
The quivering kangaroo kicked off his bulky wet jeans to reveal a pair of sky blue boxers that were polka doted with neon pink paw-prints each about the size of a nickel. What really draws attention is the outline plastered inside of them. His balls were pulled tightly against himself for warmth, higher up on his pelvis than for most other species. This is of course because anyone who's anyone knows that the opening of a kangaroos sheath is tucked away behind the scrotum rather than the customary arrangement of the balls at the base of the sheath. Even in the cold and with the fur plastered down he would completely fill the average fur's paw with fingers spread and not just cupped.
Shello meanwhile was trying to get the already tightly fitting t-shirt over his head and off, water splattering on the floor as the cotton stretched. The husky boy was wearing a now very damp pair of small pink panties. They matched his fur nicely, being trimmed with a full inch of see-through lace around the waistband but a only a quarter inch wide elsewhere. When his tucked tail was to either side one could see that the damp thin satin was riding steadily up between his well-shaped cheeks. As with Ricky, the cold had done the husky few favors visually in the front. Still the quivering husky was well endowed, the outline of his sheath and balls enough to bring a warm smile by just looking at them.
**The rain had been soaking into the small brown seeds for some time now. They swelled, long dormant structures gradually beginning their function. Fast, faster, faster than any plant in all the history of life on earth. It had been called by many names in the dark jungles it called home. To us, the names mean nothing without the translation into English. Thin root tips split several of the seeds glistening coats. Most tribes knew it as "love vine" each in their own tongue and dialect. Others had more elaborate names such as "the secret lover" or "the strong husband of flowers." The root tips began to attach themselves to the roots of the wet grass. One tribe with a colorful sense of humor called it "the forest spirit that distracts the farmer so his brother weeds can choke the crop." The plant subdued the simple grass at a cellular level in ways that might make certain molecular biologists shoot their wad here and now were it described, which it won't be. In laymen's terms, the grass was no longer a grass, but the strange plant in grass form. It was being consumed and replaced cell by cell, recycling everything and leaving nothing but this new plant in its path. Look at the whole lawn now.
Moving out like ripples in a pond, indeed rippling as it spread, the grass grew just a little longer, thicker, and greener. It moved faster till it came to the edges of the lawn, then stopped. It went as far as the line between one yard and the next where a slightly different kind of grass had been planted. A difference only a greens keeper might note. Undeterred it had soon filled the entire rectangular yard, front and back, having already fused with it's chosen host species. Underground its roots searched, soaking up the nutrients in the well-fertilized lawn. Thin roots looking like corn-silk honed in on a source of nutrients near the surface. They swarmed under the door of the garden shed, quickly emptying several bags of concentrated fertilizer before drying out as the spent roots used up the last of this resource. Now another source of nutrients deeper underground was attracting what one might call the plants "attention." It was big, it was cement, and whatever was inside was driving the plants appetite over the edge. Like tree roots in time lapse the plant focused its attack on a corner of the large septic tank. In less than a minute the crumbling cinderblocks at that one corner fell inward leaving a circular hole that swarmed with nutrient gathering roots. Never had a plant been so happy...**
Shivering and spike furred the pair dashed up the stairs of the house to the grand bathroom. They often joked about calling all the other rooms in the house "good enough" but they had both agreed this was a grand bathroom. They burst in to the room and immediately flicked on the timed heat-lamp. The room was lit in a strange orange glow that deprived everything of its proper color. The air buzzed as the lights warmed up and the knob made its slow revolution. The room was reduced to shades of orange right down to the pups now dull orange fur and grey-orange eyes. It was making the two warmer but not fast enough. They made their way across the marble floor to the king sized tub. It would easily accommodate six furs of their size and had a ledge at one end for sitting. The house had once belonged to an opulent elephant who needed this accommodation. Like most elephants, he had been passionate about bathing, and had spared no expense in features like the whirlpool jets, shower settings, and the two hundred and seventy degrees vents for warm dry air to make drying off quick, complete, and pleasurable.
Ricky's cold paws clumsily began running the shower to warm up the water in the pipes. The moment he had stopped walking long enough to do this the shivering dog wrapped his arms around the roo from behind and clung tightly for warmth. They both stood shivering, Ricky's paw in the gradually warming spray as the pipes cycled through. Fully hot, just shy of scalding, he adjusted the knob for the cold to a tried and true position that spoke of having found almost any excuse to shower here throughout their friendship. The pair climbed in with difficulty, stiff from the cold.
Bliss...
**Bliss... There were so many nutrients here. It absorbed them with a ravenous appetite. Tubers for storing nutrients, resembling yams began to swell underground leaving no evidence of the activity on the surface. Aside from echoing guttural sloshes one might detect with an ear to the ground, all was quiet. The rain clouds were quickly dispersed by a clear cloudless high-pressure system that came barreling along. Having adapted to make the most of the darkest most overgrown parts of the forest, full sun was an overwhelming abundance of nutrients even for its bat-shit crazy metabolism. The plant had found a niche for itself that was beyond perfect. It needed one final asset. One last need before settling into the next hundred or more years of its life when it would finally bear flowers and seeds.
The plant needed guardians. Thinking resourceful creatures that could be persuaded to defend it in ways it could not. Luckily, eons of careful evolution had made it very persuasive indeed. The engorged plant sensed something else now. Warm water began to pour into its food store. It didn't mind, in fact, something in the water let it know that the final thing it needed was somewhere upstream. Tendrils of an entirely new kind began to grow up through the pipe, following the warm water to its source but not blocking off the flow. As it shot forward it grew very warm, warmer than the water it was drinking even as its metabolism generated heat. It sensed light, strange light, painful light, and shrunk back a ways, not daring to go any further. Something about the heat-lamp rays that made their way part way down the drain stopped it...**
"Are you sure you want to give up on this? It's just a set back. You have all those notebooks you've been keeping. What about them?" Shello rubbed at the marsupials back as he sat on the bench inside the tub with his head hanging. "I just know you're getting close to finding a specific enough location to go find it. I'll come with you. I want to see the rainforest before it's gone, and can you imagine? Imagine if we found it?" Ricky couldn't help but smile and lift his head, turning to look over his shoulder.
"Thank you for being so supportive, but I'm just a sophomore. What chance do I have of making that kind of breakthrough on my own, and with out any documents left? It was all a wild goose chase." He paused and smirked a little. "A wild goose chase and some less than scientific motives I'd say." He let out a long sigh. The water pulsed around in soothing jets. He felt the paws on his back slide warmly around his waist in a hug. The kangaroo turned around once more then shifted to make room on the bench, pulling the canine down beside him and hugging full on. Shello tucked his head into his friend's neck as the cuddled under the deliciously warm water. Like most heat-lamps, to save on energy and to avoid the risk of a fire, are set to shut off after a short amount of time. In their haste no other lights in the windowless bathroom had been turned on. With a loud click the pair were pitched into absolute darkness, even as the sun shone brightly on their emerald green lawn. A few neighbors slowed down dumbstruck, but not wanting to admit the young upstart had somehow kept a better lawn than theirs. Returning to events unfolding in the bathroom, the husky suddenly clung tighter to his friend, a whimper escaping his snout.
"R-Ricky?" He whined.
"Relax hun, that's just the heat-lamps shutting off. We forgot to switch the main lights. No need to be scared." The dog continued to cling tightly to the roo.
"I know what it was, and I feel safe with you. I just can't help but feel a few butterflies about being in the dark." As he said this, the roo devised a way to make this experience in the dark more pleasant for his friend. It would also be good to get his mind of the depressing matter of his work.
"You know, I actually find it kind of *kinky* to be here with you in the dark." Ricky smiled feeling the grip on him soften some as the canine relaxed. "I mean, I could be up to anything and you wouldn't know." As he said this he began rubbing deeply along the husky's spine, relaxing his muscles gently but firmly.
"Mmmm, Ricky, that feels wonderful." He began to pant and wriggle in anticipation. His paw reached out to support himself and closed around his favorite bottle of vanilla body wash by chance. "Hey, mmm, Ricky. Would ahhh, you use this to do that?" He pressed the bottle into the his friends paws, and stood up, leaning his forehead against the wall in a corner not hit with the spray of the shower head that was fixed at the other end of the tub.
"Oh, I'd love too." He stood behind his friend and began liberally dousing his fur with the gel. It made rude noises that echoed around the room, soon joined by their giggles and polite excuses made in British accents. As Ricky began to lather the generous amounts of soapy wash into Shello's fur they fell silent, enjoying the moment fully. He worked on every muscle, from his neck, all the way down his spine, up and down his arms, over his chest and belly, and down his legs and thighs. The canine was scarcely able to stand this treatment. Ricky had only just begun to work on his abdomen when he felt his friends throbbing erection brush his sudsy paw. Of course he knew that would happen, and merely gave it a few pumps, then progressed down to rub the lather into the fur on his sheath, and firm furry balls. He lingered for what seemed like to an eternity pleasuring his nethers and working the suds between the cheeks of his rump. He had to work hard wrestling it into his quickly wagging tail. The struggle to do this had them both laughing again. Covered in suds from the neck down the husky turned and embraced his friend in the dark, his erection pressed against his large furry sack.
"Mmmm, okay, now let me do your fur." Ricky smiled and kissed the top of his head, already having a considerable around of suds on him from the hug. He shivered but once again giggled along with Shello as the rude wet sounds bounced around the walls of the dark room. The sweet smell of vanilla grew stronger by the second as the husky began rubbing the gel into a thick lather over the Ricky's whole body. The treatment made him merf and gasp occasionally as the suds blanketed him softly and the canine's paws uncoiled his every muscle. It was not long before his prehensile kangaroo member was prodding at the wall of the shower, twitching and flexing like a tendril.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**All this time, silently, the end of the tub nearest the drain was becoming the center of unseen growth. Stealthily all four walls of the stall were covered in thick pulsing fleshy vines. They hugged and slithered over the walls close to the ceiling, creeping down much more slowly than they were capable of. The bothersome light was gone, and the pair had a distinct smell, upon which it began to imprint, learning to recognize its future guardians. It was ready...**
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ricky felt something cold squelch at his tail-hole and jumped a little. He felt comforting hands hug at his slippery hips.
"Easy Ricky, that was just me hun." He calmed down, and then began to moan as he felt the soft paw of his friend begin sliding up and down in the groove of his rump to work in the gel he had just placed there.
"Mmmmm, just let me, mmm, know in advance." Shello giggled.
"But then what kind of fun would this be?" He playfully slipped a slick sudsy digit into the marsupials relaxed tail hole, only to have it tighten down around his knuckle. He moaned and then muttered.
"G-good point." His body started to rest limply against the wall of the shower as the treatment continued. His erection throbbed fiercely and wriggled about with a mind of its own. He felt the pups slick sudsy paw curl around his member warmly, and it kept curling, and curling, spiraling up his member warmly. "Wait, what?" Was all he managed before he felt the same happening to his wrists and ankles, even his waist. The shock made him fall silent and go motionless as his mind raced for an answer or an idea of what to do. He opened his mouth to say something only to feel it filled with something rubbery and slick. He bit down and in an instant its bulbous tip ballooned in his mouth, filling his cheeks and becoming impossibly stuck in place. In the dark, his eyes went wide with fear. Warm slick tendrils coiled around him while the husky focused on fingering his silent partner's tail-hole.
"What do you mean what? OHH! You naughty roo! I didn't know your tail could do that." There followed a sickening silence as the digit in his pucker went still. "Ricky!?" was all that was heard before the finger was pulled out with a wet squelch and muffled screams erupted behind him. *This thing is hurting your friend! Do SOMETHING stupid!* Ricky went to turn around but got nowhere, as soon as he tried to move the vines that held him tightened down as though a switch had been thrown, then relaxed again as soon as he did. Now he was scared. He bit down on the invading bulb, but not a single tooth could come in contact with the bulb that was clapped in his jaws. He tried to spit it out, with about the same success. He could tell that Shello was panicking by the muffled moans that escaped him. To add to how maddening the situation was, they were both completely unable to grasp at anything because of the slick soap, but somehow this monster was having no troubles at all as their bodies were wrapped in more and more tentacles. His mind started swimming. He was enveloped in the strange appendages, and could only assume the same had happened to his friend.
Shello was indeed making noises, however, he had caught on long before Ricky that this was something to be enjoyed. The husky submitted, moaning in pleasure as he felt his mouth being filled with a phallic tendril rather than the restraining bulb in his friend's mouth. It was a dream come true. He thrust against the vine that coiled around his member. A third vine began prodding at his already slick and sudsy tail-hole, easily invading, and then stretching him wide on the warm fleshy appendage. By the time it was a few inches inside of him, combined with the head start from Ricky the pups knot popped free of its sheath as he started cuming. The tender vines slid from his muzzle consensually letting him howl as he came.
Ricky knew that happy howl, but how had he gotten his mouth free? Was the key just to give in? It was worth a shot. He went limp from head to toe. In a few moments he felt himself rewarded with tender ministrations to his marsupial cock, and the bulb shrinking down to a more phallic shape and then tenderly making love to his long muzzle. His erection surged with excitement as he came to accept this fact. After months of research trying to find his way to this legendary plant, it had somehow found its way back to him. He felt something prodding under his tail, which was itself bound by one of the many vines. He loosened as one might loosen for a lover, feeling the vine slip gently up inside him, soon pressing against his prostate. It was too much. He suckled harder on the vine in his mouth as his orgasm wracked his body. As he mindlessly suckled and released onto himself, the vines, and Shello, he felt himself being lifted bodily into the embrace of the plant. He almost started to panic again but soon relaxed as he felt the warm water of the shower pouring over his body again.
Both the furs went limp as the vines massaged them in the afterglow. The body wash rinsed from their fur slowly, running down the drain and falling with loud splatters. Bit by bit, the two smelled less and less like the scent the plant had imprinted on. They were becoming less interesting to the narrow-minded tendrils, which one by one released their bodies lowering them to the floor of the shower and withdrawing from their bodies. As soon as he was free Ricky sprinted to the door, still dripping wet and fumbling blindly. Shello was too busy trying to stroke and caress the vines as they searched elsewhere for the mysteriously vanishing guardians it had allied itself with. The roo searched along the wall for a switch, and finally found the knob for the heat-lamps. He cranked it, looking to get a glimpse of his lover. In a blur the mass of vines pulled themselves down and out of sight. They retreated down the drain so quickly the bewildered husky began scrabbling at the wide drain several seconds after the last emerald green tendril disappeared from sight. The pair looked at one another in awe, not knowing what to say or to do, still awash with love for their strange visitor.
**That cursed light! What happened to the guardians? One minute they were there, the next all that was left was their scent washing down into the food tank. Oh well, guardians wander as they please, the pant reasoned. They would be back for more, and feeling the way each had given themselves up it knew it could count on them to do nothing to try and harm it. The next time it smelled that smell come trickling down the pipes again it would return for a tender reunion, to strengthen the loyalty from its caretakers.**
