Tisha scrambled up to a sitting position when the panther pulled out and tried to run off, grabbing her hoodie, which was the only piece of clothing she had that escaped unscathed during the rape. She used it to cover herself, and she quivered as the husky come over to her, fear filling her eyes. At least until he knelt down. Mentally she chided herself for fearing him. After all, he'd just saved her from worse from those thugs, but still, that fear was now a part of her, thanks to them. The furrows left by the wolf's claws on her cheeks had started bleeding, and surrounding them was the bruise from the two hard slaps from both the human and the wolf. Luckily, the thugs hadn't dislocated her shoulders or hips, though the muscles in both areas were strained from being yanked this way and that during her rape. Her sapphire blue eyes held hints of her shattered innocence as well as a haunted look caused by the rape, as if her mental state was now fragile. Which, in some ways, it was. "Thank you," she murmured softly, her hoodie shielding her body from his gaze as she huddled on the couch.
The husky's eyes were warm and gentle, despite the fighting that he had just done. His nostrils flared as he smelled blood, but he nodded, looking into her face. She looked terrified, and as if she might just snap at any moment. "You're welcome..." he said softly, not daring to touch her for fear of frightening her more. He looked into those eyes and felt sorry for her. He didn't want to scare her at all, but he couldn't leave her here, and she didn't look like she could walk. He didn't know how old she was, but she looked like she needed to be treated with Kid gloves right now. "Honey, can I help you get dressed and get you out of here?"
She gave a hesitant nod at his words, then her voice shook as she murmured, "T...Tisha. My name's Tisha, not Honey. My shorts might still be wearable. I... I don't know how badly they were torn after.... after they cut them along the inseam. The only thing... that survived intact was my hoodie." Her body trembled as shock of her rape started to set in, and, without any further warning, she started sobbing, burying her face on her knees.
"Well Tisha, you can call me Marco..." he said softly, listening to her continue on about her hoodie, her shorts and such. He saw her tremble and being to sob then, and he felt so bad for her. He looked around the room and spotted her shorts, which looked in sad shape, but he picked them up and realized she could probably wear them to give her some sort of modesty. He carried them back and sat down on the couch, this time slipping an arm around her body and holding her to his side as she sobbed. He wasn't sure exactly what to do, and he didn't know where she lived, so he was planning on just taking her to his own home.
At first, Tisha was stiff when he slipped his arm around her, thinking that worse was going to happen to her now. But after a few minutes, when all he did was hold her, letting her cry herself out, she let herself relax, her body slumping against him until she was reduced to just a few hiccuping sobs. Looking up at him, she saw that he wasn't trying to get a peek at her body, but giving her enough space to feel comfortable, yet still be close enough to comfort her. "Thank you, Marco," she murmured before slipping the hoodie on and zipping it up, covering her chest. The way she was still crouched on the couch, kept anything else from being visible, even without the skirt on yet. Seeing the wolf on the floor, her lip curled and she rose to her feet, still enclosed in her boots, since the gang never tried to remove them from her, and walked over to him. The hoodie was long enough to hide almost everything but the bottom curve of her ass. Lifting her foot, she stomped down hard on the wolf's sheath before looking for the panther and doing the same to him. Other than holding her down and the slap from the human, the other three hadn't touched her before Marco came to rescue her. Going back to Marco, she took the shorts from him and pulled them on, feeling strange with a breeze against her violated nethers. "I need something better than these shorts and the lack of underthings. And I want to learn to fight like you did, or even dirtier. I... I don't want this to happen again."
Marco was not interested at that point in seeing any part of her body. His concern for her wellbeing clearly overrode any and all desires at anything carnal, and he would never have taken advantage of her in such a vulnerable state. He sat with her on the couch, until she got the hoodie on and zipped, then he stood when she did. He remained standing by the couch as he watched her moving, going over to the wolf, who was not dead, and the panther, who most likely was, and kicking them both in the groin. He made a soft little growling noise at the brutality, but it was more because they deserved it than anything. He licked his lips, tilting his head at her as she came back to him, looking up into his face. He blinked and then slowly nodded, "We'll get you something...unless you want me to take you home. As for fighting like I did...well..." He slowly nodded, "I can teach you that....it's tough learning..."
Tisha looked up at him, her eyes showing her innocence, which had been dimmed slightly, but still, she knew very little about survival and gangs, since there had never been an issue with them before now. "I... I have some clothes at home. Maybe we should get my clothes, then figure out what is going on, and how to stop these gangs from doing this to anyone else." She slipped her hand into his paw slowly, still showing a lingering hesitation after the rape. "You saw what he did to me," she said pointing to the panther, then moved her arm so she was pointing at the wolf. "He shoved his... thing... into my mouth, then called me a..." Her face turned red as she ducked her head some. "A fucking bitch after I bit him. I really don't want to see that happening to anyone else." She shuddered, just thinking about what had happened, then brought her eyes back up to his. "I think my father has some weapons we can get to help other girls out of situations like this."
Marco nodded and squeezed her hand as she slipped it into his paw. "Alright, we'll get you home then." He said, and then kept listening, as she went into why she wanted to help others, to keep others from having to go through the same thing, "You're right, with this blackout others are liable to fall into the same kind of trap that you did. We'll see if we can stop it...I'll talk to your father about what happened to you and then we'll see what kind of weapons he has."
Tisha gave a brief, fleeting smile, the memories of the rape chasing it from her face before it could really linger, or Marco had a chance to really enjoy her smile. Turning towards the doorway, she trembled, her hand tightening around his paw. She desperately needed to get out of this building, away from the memories, but fear of someone else doing to her what those thugs had done warred with that need, trying to keep her where she was. "Marco, help me. I... I have to get out of here, but I'm terrified of this happening again."
The tall husky held her hand, and when she tightened her fingers on his paw, he squeezed her back, listening to her asking him to help her. He nodded and looked down into her face, "Tisha...you can't be afraid...just hold my paw, I'll protect you." He led the way then, taking a step and coaxing her to begin moving with him, toward the hall. He knew that right now she was a roller coaster of emotions, but though he didn't have to stay with her, he felt he could do nothing else...he needed to help this girl.
Tisha looked into his eyes, taking a trembling step towards him as he backed his way to the door. Maybe... If she didn't look anywhere else, maybe she could do this. Maybe she could get out of this building. Her eyes faltered, drifting off his and her movement stopped as fear overtook her again. Her legs felt like rubber with all their trembling, and she felt she would collapse any moment now. Her parents only knew she'd headed to the mall, not what had happened to her. How would they react if she didn't come home? Tears welled up in her eyes again, threatening to overcome her at any moment.
It was clear that she wasn't going to be able to do this on her own, no, she would have to have help. He came back up to her and took her other hand in his free paw, squeezing it, "Come Tisha, I'll carry you until you feel you can walk again." He let go of one of her hands, and gently and very carefully, swept her feet out from under her, lifting her up into his arms and cradling her against his chest. "Now...let's get you home." He held her close and made his way toward the door, stepping out and over the panther on his way through the building, which was beginning to get a bit dark.
Tisha wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging to the husky as he carried her past the thugs and out onto the city streets. She refused to feel regret for the injured and dead thugs in the building. While the way she was being carried made the shorts fall open, revealing her nudity under them, his arm blocked anyone from seeing anything they shouldn't. And right now, she felt safe with him. She lay her head on his shoulder, and in a trembling voice, gave him directions to her home. It wasn't too long afterwards that they arrived at her house. Lifting her head, she looked up at him and nodded, signaling that she was ready to walk into her house on her own feet.
Marco had not tired of carrying her. She was not that heavy, and he was very strong. The way she softly clung to him, burying her face in his neck and on his shoulder as he carried her all the way to her home, made him almost smile. He hadn't ever really had a girl that clung to him like that. They reached her home and he sat her down, then looked up and took a good look at the house. Something didn't smell right about it, he wasn't sure what it was though. The door of the house stood partially ajar, as if someone had gone in and not closed it properly.
Tisha looked at her home, and noticed the same thing, but she knew her brothers would leave the door open half the time. She shrugged it off, thinking one of them forgot to close the door and slipped a hand into his paw again, leading him towards her house. But the moment she got close to the front door, a cloying scent hit them, hinting at what was to be found inside the house. It was a mixture of fear and the coppery smell of blood coming from inside the house.
Marco smelled it too, but all the stronger because of his canine senses. He let out a soft growl and tightened his fingers onto her hand. The last thing she needed was what he knew they would find in that house...death. He snarled and licked his lips. "I should go in first... Something's wrong." He didn't know if she would let him or not, she was impetuous it seemed when the mood hit her.
She nodded briefly, moving to get behind him so that he saw whatever was going on first, and if need be, could shield her from the view. Her room was upstairs, and she hoped that whatever had happened was restricted to the ground floor. It wasn't like there was much to see upstairs anyway. She whispered to him, "If I can get upstairs to my room, I can change and grab some clothes, and while I'm doing that, you can look around the house to make sure of what happened here. I don't think I could handle seeing it right now."
She may have thought she couldn't handle it, he knew she couldn't. She had been raped, she was fragile already and if she saw death like he was anticipating, she might just lose it completely. He let her get behind him, and he nodded, "Alright, stay behind me." His large torso would block her view completely. They walked toward the house, and he pushed open the front door. The sickening smell was even worse here, but he did not stop. The entryway was clear, all the way to the stairs which were directly in front of him. He stepped in. "Nothing in the hall..." he said softly. "Keep your eyes closed and I'll guide you to the stairs...ok?" He reached back and took her arm in his paw, then led her straight ahead until he reached the bottom of the steps. The smell was coming from the room to their right, and also farther back in the house. "Go up and stay up there until I call..." He could tell that there was none of the offending smell coming from up the stairs.
Tisha let him lead her to the stairs, and carefully went up them, listening for any strange noises in the house, other than the husky moving around in the silent home. No, it didn't feel like a home anymore, just a house. A lifeless house. Not a bustling with energy and laughter home. She knew, but her subconscious hid the information from her, protecting her fragile psyche.
Going into her room, she flicked a lighter and lit a candle in the room. Going to the dresser, she pulled out her underthings and put them on, wincing a little at the soreness between her legs and the streaks of blood on them. She needed to wash up, but there was no running water. But there was the pool out back. She shook her head, pulling herself from the daydream of earlier in the day, when she and her friends had been completely ignorant of things and had been frolicking in the pool. Pulling another pair of shorts out, she stepped into them, pulling them up and fastening them before pulling off the hoodie and getting the bra on that she'd pulled out. Rummaging through her drawers, she pulled out a shirt and pulled it over her head, then slipped the hoodie back on.
Finally dressed, she grabbed her backpack and pulled out everything that was inside it, and stuffed two more sets of summery clothes and then went to the closet and pulled out two pairs of jeans and long sleeved shirts as well as her last hoodie. Everything was rolled up and shoved into her backpack then she got more underthings out and shoved them in as well.
Her family often went hunting, and she pulled out a trunk from under her bed and opened it, removing her crossbow and a couple hunting knives. With what they were planning, you never knew what kind of weapon you would need, and she wanted to be prepared. Plus, it would help when they needed food. The most she knew about the knives was how to skin an animal for food, so she stuffed them into her backpack as well.
While he let her head upstairs, he turned around and eased his way around the corner into the living room of the home. As he had suspected, this was one source of the stench that filled his nostrils. A woman lay on the floor, clearly dead. He didn't look long enough to find out what she had died from, but there was a man laying next to her. This man was clearly not her husband though, but a younger male which had taken a shotgun to the chest. He made a face and turned to walk down the hall. In the back, in the master bedroom, lay an older man, sprawled over the bed with a pistol still clutched in one hand, a shotgun laying on the floor. He picked up the shotgun and checked it for ammo, then retrieved the pistol.
The Pistol he stuffed in his pocket, the shotgun he shouldered, and went about looking for more ammo. He found it, along with another pistol and an AR-15 in an open safe in the closet. He pulled out all the ammo that he could see there and shook his head. Her father had believed in being prepared, that was for certain...it was too bad that he hadn't been prepared for the bandits. He reached into the closet and found a duffel back in the back. This he pulled out and loaded with all the ammo, as well as the semi-auto rifle and the shotgun. Then he found holsters for the two pistols. The last thing he found, hanging in the back, was a crossbow, one of the foldable types, and a quiver of arrows for it. He gathered all that as well, and carried it out. She had been right about the weapons. He piled everything on the kitchen table, then came back to the stairs, "Tisha?"
Tisha had moved into her brothers' rooms and raided them for more weapons they had hidden away. Thankfully, whatever happened hadn't hit the upstairs. Both of the boys had hunting knives and she stuffed them into her backpack. Coming back from their rooms, she heard Marco calling her, and she called down to him, "Be right there, Marco. Just getting a couple last things." She reached into the hall closet and pulled out some blankets and wrapped them up as tight as she could before securing them to the bottom of her backpack. Remembering she only had this pair of boots, she ran back to her room, pulled out a pair of sneakers and hiking boots as well as her socks and stuffed as much as she could into the backpack before tying her boots and sneakers to the outside of her pack. She grabbed her hair brush off the dresser and some hair ties, then pulled her hair back into a messy ponytail before heading back down the stairs to Marco.
Marco was waiting for her, standing on the side of the stairs that would block her view of the living room, "Head into the kitchen, I found some of your father's guns and ammo, and I want to get stock of everything we have before we leave." He licked his lips, his teeth baring for just a moment, as she came down the stairs and passed him, heading into the kitchen. He followed. When they got there, he pointed, "Shotgun, two pistols and an AR-15... plus all the ammo your father had for them. I also found this crossbow and ammo for it... What did you find upstairs?"
Tisha paused for a moment in the kitchen, then pulled her backpack off and opened it. "I have my own crossbow and arrows, from when we would go hunting. I also have some hunting knives, both mine and my brothers'. More arrows for my crossbow. Blankets for sleeping outside. Clothes, both summer and winter types. My boots, my sneakers and my hiking boots. Only thing I know about using the knives is skinning an animal after hunting it." She looked up at him, then the duffel bag he had. "Maybe we should move some of this stuff in there, and leave some room in the backpack for fast food supplies. Trail mix and stuff like that. And bottled water. Which reminds me, I need to go out back to clean up. I'm not really into having bloody legs like this."
