Dominant Paradigm

"Jarvis! I need that report on my desk five minutes ago!"

All the heads in the cubicle farm turned toward a young, skinny fox, whose ears had just shot bolt upright. He clicked his mouse so hard it was audible all the way to the elevators in the hushed silence. A moment later, the whirr of the printer warming up sounded from elsewhere. "Coming, sir!" he called, his tone belying the confidence of his words.

The hum of the printer's engine spitting out paper covered the low buzz that started in the cubicles as Jarvis pushed the chair back from his desk and trotted past them. His tall black ears remained focused in the direction of the large badger's office, but there was little doubt that he could hear some of the whispers around him. The occupants of the two cubicles that were open to the printer, a pair of female ferrets, watched him with sympathetic smiles. He returned them weakly as his pacings brought him around to face them, alternating between grabbing a sheet of paper from the printer and glancing back at the office.

Finally, the printer extruded the final sheet of paper. Jarvis snatched it and padded quickly across the office, arranging the papers in a neat stack as he did. A quick stop at his desk to staple, and then he rushed into the corner office.

"Close the door," the badger behind the wide, dark oak desk growled.

Jarvis pushed the large wooden door shut and winced as it slammed. He flicked the lock on the handle and turned to face his boss.

Emerson Copper leaned back in his chair, a smile pulling back the corners of his black and white muzzle. Behind him, the corner windows showed a green field three stories below stretching back to a clump of trees, the closest thing to a forest in suburban Peco. Jarvis tore his gaze from the field to the large badger's desk. Shoulders bowed, he shuffled forward and placed the report on the desk pad, which sat clean and black in the middle of a sea of papers and framed photos of an attractive female badger and two bright-eyed kits.

Copper tapped the edge of his desk with his fingers. "Jarvis," he said, "I believe I asked for this report over an hour ago."

"Yes, sir." The fox kept his head down.

"What other priority could you possibly have that was more important than this report?"

Jarvis shuffled his paws. "Minesweeper, sir. I was close to beating my best time."

Copper's eyebrows dropped, his eyes narrowing to a dangerous line. "Minesweeper? That sort of thing is unacceptable at this company." He glared across the room. "Step closer to my desk."

The fox inched across the floor, looking up every few steps to see whether he was close enough. At no sign from the badger, he kept moving until he was six inches from the desk. Still, he kept his muzzle down, sneaking furtive glances at his boss.

The badger let his muzzle slide into a grin. He leaned back and looked the youngster up and down. "I'm going to have to make sure this doesn't happen again," he said. "I think you should have to be humiliated. That's the only way you'll remember." He smiled wider at the flick of the fox's ear and the flaring of his nostrils. "Take your clothes off, Jarvis."

Now the fox's head jerked up. "M-my clothes? Sir..."

"Yes," Copper said, his paw brushing aside the fox's reluctance with a wave, "I've read the sexual harassment guidelines. I've also read the employee conduct manual that lists all the reasons an underperforming employee can be fired. You need this job, don't you?"

Jarvis's paw moved to the top button of his blue-striped white shirt, and then hesitated there. "All my clothes, sir?"

Copper nodded, slowly. "And don't be too quick about it," he said. "Make it last."

The fox undid the top shirt button, then the next two, letting his fluffy chest ruff out into the open. Copper leaned back, lacing his fingers behind his head and watching the front of the shirt part like a curtain. Jarvis was trim, the lines of his chest and ribs making patterns in his fur. He pulled the last button free and let the shirt hang loose.

As his paw reached for his pants clasp, his eyes met Copper's again, seeking. The badger nodded, once. The fox's head lowered. Slender black fingers unfastened the button at his waist and slid inside the waistband, lowering the khaki fabric over blue cotton boxers. He only had to push the pants a couple inches past his slender hips before they slid to the floor with a soft rustle.

Jarvis stood, his paws hovering near his crotch but not quite over it, not looking up at his boss. Copper rested one of his large, rough paws in his own lap and pressed down over the thin fabric of his pants, rubbing, his eyes never leaving the young man in front of him. He could see the smallest patches of white on the inside of the fox's thighs, where the red fur stopped. In his mind, he traced the line up through the boxers around the plump sheath that he knew was hiding behind the boxers. When he was good and hard, he moistened his lips. "All your clothes, Jarvis," he said in a low voice.

"Sir..." Jarvis said. His paws fluttered in front of his boxers.

"Now."

He saw Jarvis's swallow, the rise and fall of his chest with each breath. After a moment's hesitation, he grasped the waist of his boxers and yanked them down roughly, working his legs through them and letting them fall to the floor.

Copper nodded, staring at the sheath that now bobbed free between the fox's legs. A bit of pink showed at the end, bringing a soft growl to the badger's throat and extra force to his rubbing paw. Jarvis was glancing to either side of the room, the motion swinging his hips from side to side as well so that his sheath and the white sac below it waved from side to side as if beckoning Copper forward.

The badger unfastened his pants and slid back from his desk. He patted the clean blotter on his desk and jerked his head to motion Jarvis around the desk. Again, the fox hesitated, until arousal and impatience made Copper growl out, "Now!"

It was amusing the way the fox almost tripped over his boxers, kicking them off as he padded around the desk and hauled himself up onto it. His body settled into place, long bushy tail draped over the monthly reports, his naked rear sitting where just an hour ago Copper had been typing a memo to his VP regarding the completely inadequate budget his group had been assigned for the year, his sheath two feet from the badger's nose, the scent hitting him all at once, thick and rich as wine and steak together and still more powerful. Copper looked around at the view from his office, the completely ordinary books and photos and paperwork, and the extraordinarily out-of-place naked fox in the center of it all, waiting tensely for his next order. He allowed himself to savor the power in this transformation, turning his office into a private room, turning an employee into this object of desire.

Keeping one paw on his own sheath, he reached out between the fox's legs. His fingers brushed the soft red fur on the slender thigh, moving across the boundary to the white fur on the inside. Six inches from their plump, tempting goal, they were pushed rudely aside when the fox leaned back and crossed his legs.

Copper growled softly. "Jarvis," he said, and tried to lift his paw over the red-furred thigh in its way.

The fox just lifted his thigh again. He raised his eyebrows, watching his boss's expression.

"You..." Copper inhaled a harsh breath. "Uncross those legs."

Slowly, Jarvis shook his head from side to side. His ears remained upright, but he didn't smile.

"That's an order," Copper said.

Jarvis stared steadily back across three feet of air into the badger's eyes. Now he lifted the corners of his mouth in a smile. "I'm no good at following orders."

"You little slut," Copper said. "You tease."

"You told me to take my clothes off." Jarvis tilted his muzzle.

"And now I'm telling you to uncross those legs." They faced each other, the badger panting now, stroking his hardness quickly, the fox motionless.

"I don't think so," Jarvis said. "Then you could just do whatever you want."

"I can do whatever I want," Copper said. "I can have you fired within the hour."

"I know," Jarvis said. Slowly, he lowered his leg, giving Copper a glimpse of his sheath. More swollen now, the pink protruded inches beyond the opening. "But then you wouldn't...ever...see...this...again." He raised his leg again, cutting off the view as Copper reached for it. "Would you?"

"Oh," the badger breathed, "you are such a bad fox."

"If you want to touch this, you just have to ask."

Again, they stared at each other across the edge of the desk. Copper's paw dug into his open zipper and pulled his length out into the open. He ran his paw up and down it. "Just...uncross those legs."

"Just ask." The fox's tail twitched playfully on the desk.

The badger's paw worked his own length as he stood, slowly. Jarvis lifted one of his own paws from the desk and brushed it down his plush chest, across the stomach whose muscles were tight with the effort of keeping his torso upright, down to his own pinkness. Lazily, with exaggerated casualness, he brushed the back of his silky black fingers along himself. Copper followed every motion of the fox's paw, grunting to himself, his shaft hot and hard.

Jarvis looked down. "That's pretty impressive...boss."

Copper glared back. "Let me touch you."

Now the fox pulled himself forward, muscles rippling under the fur. His muzzle stopped two inches from the badger's nose, and when he spoke, his warm, sweet breath ruffled his boss's whiskers. "What's the magic word?"

Copper's paw worked up and down, up and down, his hardness almost painful. The office paled around him, colors washing out next to the vivid red of Jarvis's coat, the deep blue of his eyes, the bright pink of his shaft bobbing enticingly close. "Please!" he growled out.

Jarvis lifted his paw and let himself lean backward, supporting himself on the desk. His thighs opened to reveal the sheath at their center, now falling back to rest on his white stomach fur.

The badger let go of his shaft and grasped the fox's, running his fingers up it and brushing the tip before sliding back down. He cupped the soft white sac, then resumed stroking, his muzzle curving into a smile.

Jarvis lifted his chest, letting his head roll back and closing his eyes. His tail brushed Copper's thigh, swinging back and forth in pleasure. It took only a few strokes for his long foxhood to match the badger's arousal, but Copper kept stroking until the fox's tip began to drip clear fluid onto his fingers.

When he pressed forward, trying to situate his shaft beneath the dangling white sac, Jarvis lifted his head and opened one eye. "Oh, no," he said. "Not today. But you can suck me off."

Copper rubbed himself against the fox's white fur, but didn't press under the tail any longer. He moistened his lips as though about to say something, then dropped back to his seat without even a growl. Gently, he spread the fox's thighs further open on his desk and leaned forward, drawing his tongue along the taut white sac and licking up the smooth pink length.

"Oh, yes," Jarvis panted. Copper didn't react, except to drop one paw back to his own hardness as he licked up the fox's shaft again, savoring the vulpine taste at its tip. He pursed his lips, unable to wait any longer, and drew it into his muzzle, closing his eyes as he felt its shape on his lips, his tongue, against the roof of his mouth. Up and down, his muzzle and his paw in rhythm together, feeling the fox's knot grow in pulses as his own body shivered. He slowed his paw's strokes so he wouldn't come so quickly, sucked harder on the fox so he would.

He listened to the moans, perking his ears as his long muzzle bobbed up and down, the taste of fox getting stronger, the perfect thighs tensing and pressing against him. He heard Jarvis's slender fingers scrabbling at the edge of the desk and gripped himself more firmly, stroking fast, squeezing the large, heavy knot and feeling the fox's body shiver with every lick of his tongue. He wanted to make the fox come, wanted to feel that rush of musk against his tongue, had forgotten everything else.

And when it came, it was beautiful: a low, throaty cry, a shuddering tension, and then a gasp and release, and the flavor burst into his muzzle, the hard shaft pounding upwards. He could feel the waves pulsing through the swollen knot, seeming to travel through his paw to his own shaft. As he swallowed the first wave from the fox, he moaned around the hot length and felt the tightening and convulsions in his own hips, smelled the hot smell of his own seed as he came on the floor.

He sat for a moment, letting the waves of sensation crest and subside, opening his eyes to see nothing but the white-furred stomach. He was trembling a little, the way he always did. Head spinning, he sat back in his office chair and watched the slender fox sit up. A pearly drop appeared at his tip, grew, and began to trickle down the pink shaft. Copper licked his lips again, reaching for a tissue to wipe himself off.

The fox reached for the box, but Copper set it deliberately out of his reach. Jarvis looked about to make a comment, then slid silently off the desk and took one of the tissues, his bushy tail waving in the badger's face as he did.

"Put that thing away," Copper growled.

"Which thing do you mean?" Jarvis asked, one paw wiping his erection clean.

"All of it." Copper tucked himself back into his pants and zipped up.

The fox took his time walking back around the desk. "Yes, sir," he said, his tone only a little insubordinate. He stepped into his boxers and pulled them up.

The office was becoming an office again, the naked fox--nearly-naked fox--incongruous in its midst. "For God's sake, Jarvis," Copper barked.

"Sorry, sir." As if on speeded-up film, the fox gathered the rest of his clothes and shoved arms and legs into them, fastening buttons as fast as he could.

"Oh, and one more thing." Copper leaned forward on his desk. "I need a report on the fifty largest producers of bananas in the world." He inhaled the musk of fox.

Jarvis had picked up a can of neutralizer and was spraying it around his crotch. "Bananas, sir?"

"Bananas," the badger said. "By tomorrow at three p.m. Or else..."

Jarvis set the can down hurriedly on the desk and nodded. "Yes, sir!" He retreated quickly toward the door, unlocked it, and ran out into the office.

The female ferrets looked sympathetically at him as he wandered back to his desk, shaking his head. "Poor Jarvis," they said. "Cooper runs him ragged."

Jarvis hid his smile successfully until he got back to his desk. He took a couple minutes just to sit back and relax. It was too close to quitting time to go down to the Starbucks, sadly; a nice long walk seemed just the thing right now. But he couldn't really afford to not be at his desk for large portions of the afternoon and then leave with everyone else. Ah, well, one had to make sacrifices for one's job. He called up a Wikipedia article on bananas, and then his game of Minesweeper again. If he were lucky, he might be able to beat his high score before going home.
