Fairwood: chapter 5

Paws and Liars

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A warm summer afternoon...... emerald green grass, nice, welcoming houses, and some white clouds to bring a little change to the endless blue sky. It was a beautiful day. But the weather is not that important if we take a good look at the suburbs ... well, not exactly suburbs. It was different from the monoton, well-kept houses of rich furs, whose only passion was to mown their lawn to perfection. Like that would make their life happier..... so this part of the town wasn't the typical district where furs just came home to sleep after working their ass off. No, it had always been different from that. They all knew it, every citizen of Fairwood, from cubs to ol' dogs they knew their town was special. Maybe the beautiful mountains sourrounding them, or the smell in the air... call it whatever you want, the smell of life, freedom, youth. Every passing by fur, even if they were on business trips, or just on their big way of finding themselves, when they got to Fairwood, they felt different. It wasn't anything supernatural, just the sight, the sky.... but after they left the town, the feeling passed as well. They never realized what it was and never bothered to find it again. Well, it never meant that everything would be fine if you lived in Fairwood, and the town wasn't the tiny drop of paradise that every religous fur prayed for. No.... there was crime, drugs and stuff, but not on the same level like in the big megalopolises. So forget the idea of Utopia quickly.
An old dog, or cat ....doesn't really matter, so an old geezer said that when you turn on the Road 67 and reach the peak (where a parking lot stood and waited for tired drivers to relax, and for teens of course to make out in their cars) you got the best view of the town of Fairwood, and it takes your breath away. It's simple and complex in the same time. It was not the Taj Mahal or some really old and secured wonder to look at with your muzzles hung-open. No, it wouldn't be Fairwood if it was big and fancy, don't expect anything huge or monumental. Many furs just go up to the parking lot to have a good look at their hometown. There is a look in their eyes, hardly noticeable but it's still there, shining up for a moment then fades as they turn away. So about what the old geezer said: 'When a fur takes his first glance at Fairwood from the peak, you'll see if he or she would ever come back.' The travellers just turn away and continue their way through the town, the streets are the same for them, so are the parks, only the mall raises their attention, but as they take a better look at things, they suddenly feel the long forgotten urge to have a nice walk in the park, or to stop by and just wander wherever their feet lead them. But they won't stop, just keep driving 'couse business is business, a time consuming bitch. After twenty minutes on the roads they reach the last traffic light, have one last look at the town and mountains behind them and drove off. They won't even remember the name of the town they passed through.
Let's take a look at a certain house. The big one, with the old sycamore standing in front of it. A rhinocerus family lived there, rich but not the show off type. The father was a plastic surgeon, his wife's a kind, lovely rhino, Vanessa. Their first son was named Ian, he was just like his father, both by looks and nature. They really resmbled each other. Then a year after Ian, Will had born. He had his mother's eyes, and he was the opposite of Ian. The older rhino brother was all condfident, he began playing sports in a really young age. And after years of practicing football and working out Ian became the typical football jock. He pushed younger furs around, teased them. He never went farther, the rhino always knew the difference between making little trouble and big mistakes. He was the precious quarterback of Fairwood High. Popular as hell, favourite of the girls and some boys too. He wasn't homophobic or agressive. Will grew up in his brother's shadow. His mother always cared about him but his father ..... he always compared him to Ian. Nothing was god enough for his father. Even if it was about grades or sports, Will always lag behind Ian. He played soccer well, enjoyed the games, but it never seemed to be enough to get his father's or brother's attention. So after starting high school, Will switched to football, to show everyone he's better than Ian. Then a year ago, Ian had a car accident. The rhino suffered great head trauma and lost consciousness. He haven't woken up from his coma ever since. It was swift, abrupt and shocking for the Lawrence family but it also made Owen realize he had another son. Since Ian's accident he woke up every morning to the sad truth that he hadn't been the father Will deserved. And he tried to make it up for his younger son..... Too late.
There was a basketball hoop in their driveway, Ian and his friends used to play there. Now Will and his friends were playing on the asphalt. They were all at the same age, eighteen year old, young furs. All boys .... a clique of six. There was Will, now bulky, tall and strong like his brother and father, with short black headfur, his mother cut it reguraly. His blue eyes shone with youth and energy. Will was no longer the little rhino scared from everything in the world.
Will passed the ball to Alan, a kind kangaroo. Bright blue eyes, a face and smile to die for, he was Alan Weston. White teeth glimmered as the roo laughed at his friend's joke. He wore nothing just a pair of sandals and shorts. So the whole neighborhood's females could drool over his muscles. Not like it was intentional, he just hated playing with a shirt on on hot day like this. Alan made a fake attempt to throw the ball and tried to go next to the leopard (standing in front of him in a defensive position). The trick was good, but the roo couldn't fool a basketball player like Roger. He had green eyes like his father, but they were slightly darker. Roger Wright was a typical leopard with black spots and golden fur. His spots rippled along his muscles as he snatched the ball away from the roo and with two steps he turned around and scored. The leopard grinned widely at the kangaroo who just shook his head.
"You couldn't even try to let me score, couldn't you?" Alan said and sighed.
"Hell, no." Roger answered and put his baseball cap right on his head.
"You and your ego." Will said as he picked up the ball from the ground.
"My ego is just fine, thank you. By the way, you're the big football jock, not me. You should be concerned about Your ego." Roger said with a small, mocking smirk. "This is a game. We all play to win."
"No, we play for the fun. You play to wash the driveway with us." A gray and white furred wolf said, and caught the ball that Will passed him.
"It's not my fault you suck at basketball." Roger shot back.
"But we weren't born with a basketball in our paws." Alan interjected.
"At least it's natural, I didn't need hormone shakes for breakfast to grow a big and strong. Not to mention my talent at basketball."
"Well, you know you're not that big.... especially compared to your ego." Mike, the wolf said. He was as tall as Roger, but Mike had a bulkier physic. Maybe it was bacause of being a wolf, or practicing wrestling for three years. God knows.
"Would you all stop bitching about my ego?" Roger said and there was a hint of annoyment in his voice.
"Sure kitty...." And with that Duncan grabbed Roger's baseball cap and put it on. About Duncan .... He was the biggest guy among them. In EVERY way you can imagine, they all knew it. Duncan was a doberman, a big fella' with gigantic paws and muscles. He had big, smiling brown eyes, a handsome muzzle; the females always followed him everywhere. He was the candy for the girls; what did ya' expect, with muscles and a cute face like his, even the straight guys turned around to check him out. Though they would never admit it....
"Give it back." Roger growled at the big dog, his whiskers flaring. But Duncan just laughed.
"Make me." He said and threw the cap as Roger made a hopeless attempt to get it back from the dog. The cap landed in a fox's paw. He was the sixth member of their little group. He was the shortest of them, though he wasn't that short at all, but foxes weren't generally drain-pipes. Matt was a perfect example for a fox. He had silky red and white fur, his paws were black just like the tip of his ears and tail. He played soccer and wasn't a star player like the others, he just liked soccer and played it well so staying in the team had never been a problem. He wasn't egomaniac like other jocks and he certainly didn't have the 'jock' symptoms that Roger started to show.
This was their clique of six...a rhino, a leopard, a kangaroo, a wolf, a good ol' dobie and a fox. They were close friends, they told each other many things, but not everything. It was natural to keep something to themselves, like family issues, secrets. They knew one other from elementary school, though Duncan and Mike got to know each other in kindergarten. They grew up togerther, watched one another change, grow, went to summer camps together, skated in the winter. And of course partied together. Yeah, they had nasty stories about themselves, and about others too. But it just brought them closer. They always felt comfortable around one another; had their little fights, but nothing serious.
Roger growled again, and dashed to the fox, who threw his cap to Mike and the cap travelled to various paws. Roger gave up quickly and Alan shook the cap in his right paw.
"Come and get it, kitty." The kangaroo said.
"Don't call me that." Roger growled furiously.
"What would you like to hear? Puppy, otter...or rat? I think kitty is better than those." Will said as Alan passed the innocent baseball cap to him.
"I won't say it again...give my cap back!"
"You said you gotta' work to win." Will replied. "So work for it." With that Roger broke into sprint and so did Will. The rhino headed to the backyard of his house and Will and the leopard disappered behind it.
"This might take a while..." Alan sighed.
"Why is Roger so obsessed with his cap?" Duncan asked curiously.
"It's his favourite cap...he got it from his dad on the first baseball match he had watched." Mike answered. "But he told us the story just yesterday, for the thousand time."
"Oh....I forgot." Ducan said, with a dreamy look. Well, he wasn't the brightest mind, but the most honest.
"I'm thirsty. Let's ask Mrs. Lawrence to make some lemonade." He didn't even have to ask because as the four sweaty furs entered their friend's house a pitcher of lemonade and Vanessa greeted them with a big smile.
"Where are Will and Roger?" She asked curiously.
"Roger is chasin' Will for his cap." Mike answered and gulped down a glass of a lemonade in no time.
***
Roger panted heavily, he has been after Will for five minutes now and failed to get his cap back.
"Damn it Will.....just give it back." Roger said.
"Ok. If you tell me what you have been doing all summer."
"Huh?" The puzzled leopard asked back.
"You heared me. Tell me what you were up to all summer." The rhino said in a determined tone.
"What do YOU think? Nothing! I relaxed, visited my grandparents, hung out with you..."
"Yeah....hung out with me....shame I don't remember that part too well." The rhino said and Roger had to hold back whine. He was pissed about his cap, but Will just caught him lying.
"We haven't played together like this for a month now." Will said.
"And? I was busy."
"With what?" The rhino asked back curiously. Roger bit his lips, he shouldn't have said that.
"Doesn't matter....I didn't do anything special over the summer. Sorry I didn't make time to hang out and all."
"So what have you been doing?"
"NOTHING!" Roger hissed in annoyment. "Nothing, damn it, I would tell you if I did something new. And what gives you the right to interrogate me like this?" The leopard finished with a small growl.
"Let's see....maybe the fact we are best friends?"
"If you really mean it, start acting like one! Give my cap back."
"You could start with telling me the truth."
"I'm telling you the truth! I swear I'm not lying." Roger said, his whiskers and tail dropped a little.
"You mean it?" Will asked back and moved closer to the leopard so he could look into his eyes without the sun blinding him.
"I do." Roger said immediately.
"Than here's your cap." Will said and finally handed the precious baseball cap back to the leopard, Roger sensed something cold in the rhino's voice. Will and Roger walked in the house in complete silence. The rhino couldn't decide which hurt him more, that Roger barely got time to hang out with him, or the fact that the leopard lied into his face.
Even in a clique like their were deeper bonds. Will and Roger were best friends, but not the weeping, listening to each others sobs kind. They were tough, or at least pretended it even if they hurt each other sometimes. Their relation used to be based on mere competition. Started in elementary and still lasted, but their friendship became stronger, deeper with time. Well, Will thought that.
Mike and Duncan were different again. They made a perfect pair. Mike was the brain and Duncan was the muscle. Not that the wolf had to shop strength and muscles in the market for himself. You know what I mean. They talked freely around each other, especially Duncan with his blatant frankness and curiosity.
And the third pair of their little group: the kangaroo and the fox. They didn't share the same competition mania like Will and Roger, they didn't complete each other like the dobbie and wolf. Their relation began at a little shop that Matt's mother owned. They met there, none of them remembered the day correctly or what they did. But one thing sure, they have been friends ever since. It was natural for them.
Will and Roger found their friends in the rhino's room. It was big enough for six guys. Duncan lay on the bed, stretching his muscles followed by a long toothy yawn. Mike hopped on the bed too, enjoying the softness of the sheets. Then Matt and Alan started some computer game and the whole room echoed in the sounds of gunshots, screams and roars. They took turns in playing the game, Duncan turned on the stereo and surfed on the many-many CDs Will had. Time flew quickly and the streetlights lit up. Then an expensive car parked in the garage. Will's father came home. The older rhino took off his glasses, he only used them to drive and read (and of course when he operated).
Vanessa got up from her seat and greeted her husband with a big kiss. The other rhino gladly embraced his wife in a warm hug and kissed her back.
"So how was your day, honey?" Vanessa asked.
"Good, I fixed a burnt cub's paw. And gave back really kind old lady's vision."
"I'm glad to hear that." The female rhino said. "How is Ian?" Owen's face lost its happy smile immediately. His wife always asked this question.
"No change." That's all Owen could say. Frankly, what else? There wasn't anything else. His son has been laying in a hospital bed for a year now. His brain monitor showed no change. Vanessa just nodded and went to the kitchen, put a plate of 'wonder' on the table. That's what his husband called it. A special mustard flavoured vegetables he liked so much.
"Seems Will is in his room." Owen said and began to eat.
"Yes. With his friends."
"Are they sleeping over?"
"Good question. I'll ask them."
"This is delicious, hon." Owen said and Vanessa just chuckled and went upstairs.
The usual scene greeted her: Will, Roger, Alan and Matt playing some 'slaughter' as Vanessa called it, Mike and Duncan laying on the bed playing some card game.
"Hey, mom." Will said, looking up from the screen for a second.
"Hey, dear. Are your friends going to sleep over tonight?"
"Dunno...didn't ask them, yet." Will turned to his friends. "Wanna' sleep over?" Will paused the game.
"It would be cool." Duncan and Mike said almost instantly, Alan and Matt nodded as well, just Roger shook his head.
"Dude, why not?" Will asked his friend disappointedly.
"Sorry, my mom wants me to be at home." The leopard said and stood up. "It's already late, she will be mad if I don't get home soon."
"C'mon, just call her." Mike said.
"I don't want to piss her off...."
Vanessa nodded and left the room. She noticed instantly how quickly Roger ruined her son's mood. The young rhino's ears pulled back a little as he looked at his frined.
"She wouldn't be pissed if you slept over. You did it thousand times."
"She said I had to keep things right this year. She wants me at home on the last day of vacation. I don't know why, it's kinda' motherly stuff." Roger said with a weak smile. "It's already late, I should go."
Roger said goodbye to his friends, then to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and left. Will's friends called their parents that they would be staying at Will's house.
The young rhino couldn't keep his mind off Roger. He knew that the leopard lied to them again. By the way the last day of summer vacation didn't mean they couldn't have fun. They would just have to get up a little bit early tomorrow, so the others could go home and prepare for the first day of school. Roger lied to them, he wasn't going home because his mother expected him, he left because he wanted to.
As the hours flew the boys watched movies, played games, talked about anything that came up. It was around one am. when they felt tired enought to sleep. Will shared his bed with Matt, because only he was small enough to fit next to the rhino without touching the other. Mike, Alan were on the floor in sleeping bags that Vanessa brought them after supper. They all lay there, the wolf and the kangaroo on their sides, their heads resting on soft pillows. Duncan though lay on a huge blanket because the sleeping bags were too small for him. His wide and toned chest rose and fell with his breathing, his paws were behind his head, muzzle pointing up to the ceiling. The big dog looked so peaceful.
Then Mike broke the silence.
"I can't freakin' sleep." Everybody laughed instantly. None of them could sleep. It was a common thing among young furs. The first day of school always made them a little nervous. No matter how tired they were, the mere thought that they would have to go to school again kept them awake. The fact that this would be their last year together only made it a little more frightening.
"You, know.... I really look forward to tomorrow." Alan said.
"Are you nuts? School is crap. If it weren't for the wrestling team I would have gone crazy." The wolf said with a small sigh.
"Nah.... it would be cool. There is no teaching on the first day, we will meet our friends, talk a lot. It will be good."
"You're talkin' like you got bored of us." Will replied and rolled on his back.
"I wonder what the others had been doing all summer..." Duncan said softly.
"They didn't do anything else we didn't." Matt replied and flicked his tail idly on the bed.
"I'm sure Sam did something stupid." Will said with a light chuckle.
"Maybe. We didn't see him all summer, or his brothers." Mike spoke in the dark.
"We met him at the party Jason threw in July. His little brother got really drunk. Not that he didn't growl to the bottom of the bottle there." Will replied.
"What's his name? Chris?" The wolf asked.
"Yeah. He's really good at football. Just like Sam." The rhino whispered, his eyeslids felt more and more heavy as the seconds ticked by.
"It's kinda scary that this will be our last year." Duncan finally said that they had been really thinking about.
"Yeah." They all whispered in unison.
Alan rolled on his back too, he looked around and found that everybody was staring at the ceiling. They all imagined what the future would be like. What would happen to them? They were seniors now. Just one step from college....
"I'm sure Jason or Jake would throw another party next week, just for celebrating senior year."
"Right." Alan mumbled.
"It's been so long we got drunk." The rhino said.
"Yeah." Mike whispered.
Then soft snoring came from the roo next to Mike. Alan fell asleep. The others were close behind him.
***
Duncan woke up in the middle of the night. He was a heavy sleeper, nothing could wake him up .... unless he needed to piss like hell. The feeling in the dobie quickly conquered every want to sleep. He got up and dashed to the bathroom. He shouldn't have drunk so much lemonade.
The doberman opened the door and found Alan standing in front of the toilet. The roo was just doing what Duncan wanted to do. Alan didn't hear the door opening, he was still half asleep...
Duncan would have waited patiently for Alan to finish. But not this time. He needed to take a leak, badly.
He padded to the roo, who finally noticed that another fur just came by, he realized that the ceratin fur was a dobie, named Duncan....the dog who just took out a huge cock from his black boxers. All this happened quickly, Duncan mubmled a hurried "Sorry, dude." and let nature do its work.
Alan couldn't help but....stare. He couldn't believe Duncan was that big. The dog was half hard, maybe the urge to pee caused it..... the dobie dick was simply beautiful. It was jet black, the head was thick just like the rest of his cock. It was at least eight inches.....how long could it be when the dobbie was fully aroused?
Alan had never been ashamed for his physique and length 'down there'. He was big, he inherited his father's genes in that field.
But the dog next to him was fuckin' huge!
The sound of pissing and a deep sigh hit Alan's ears and he just stood there, mezmreised by Duncan's maleness. The dog looked so relaxed.
The roo didn't notice that Duncan finished and the dobie caught Alan staring at him. He turned his head to Alan, the kangaroo was just looking at his cock, his face wasn't shocked or anything. He just couldn't tear his gaze away. The strange feeling that he should touch Duncan entered the kangaroo's mind. Why would he want to touch the dog??? A part of Alan screamed, but again, even the straight guys turned around to check out Duncan so...... why wouldn't he?
"Wanna touch it?" The dog said with a small smile.
Somebody talked.....the dobie talked, Alan's mind ever so slowly understood the incoming informations...the dobie, who had the biggest cock, talked....to him.
"Wha....what ?" Alan stammered, he realized he was staring openly at Duncan, Alan realized he was having an erection, and he damn well noticed that the dog was grinning now....
"Go on. Have touch." There was no joking in Duncan's eyes. The pair of kind brown orbs were serious. He really wanted Alan to touch his dick.
"What?" The kangaroo said and shook his head to clear his thoughts. He took a step back, but stopped.
"It's just messing around, it would be good..."
Alan couldn't stop the dog's next move, and deep in his heart, he didn't want to stop him.
Duncan closed his right paw around Alan's rock hard erection. The kangaroo's long, thick, pink cock throbbed in the dog's soft paw.
"Feels good, isn't it?" Duncan spoke softly.
"Ye-Yeah." Alan mumbled as the dog touched him.
"Thought we could have some fun together." The dobie spoke and gave a stroke to the cock in his paw.
Alan nodded and reached out with HIS right paw and tried to wrap it around the the dog's cock.
He couldn't! Alan couldn't believe it was so thick.
"Yeah" Duncan whispered. For him, this was only messing around. He never thught about it as serious sexual thing. It was only helping out a buddy. The roo was having an erection so he helped him. And he would get the same treatment for return. They will both get their rocks off, they will both feel good. There was nothing to be ashamed of. It was a fair and pealusureable deal.
But for Alan, it was more than a friendly jerk off session. He was touching a male for the first time. And it WAS completely new and serious.
He couldn't deny that Duncan's paw was great. The dog's big, smooth pads closed around his shaft perfectly and it felt much more better than his own paw. The soft pink pads of the dog paw caressed his flesh and Alan let out a throaty murr.
The roo began to stroke Duncan to return the favor. Though he couldn't wrap his paw around the wide shaft, but the dog semmed to enjoy the kangaroo's work.
The two males had their fun, they didn't go fast, their bodies and minds were wide awake, they wanted to enjoy this as much as they could. It didn't matter for Alan that another male was pleasing him or that he was jerking off one.
Their breathing became shallow, Alan couldn't see but Duncan's stubby tail wagged behind him crazily.
The roo felt his orgasm coming, he closed his eyes, the muscles in his body tensed.....and he was done. His knees buckled a little as his orgasm hit in, his pink cock shot white seed all over Duncan's big black paw and the roo leaned on the cold wall behind him to keep his balance. He never stopped jerking Duncan off and by the time Alan's orgasm faded the dog barked a little that echoed in the bathroom.
Alan watched trough his half-closed eyelids as the beautiful doberman came. The perfect and defined muscles of the dog's arms and abdomen tensed, the great see of muscles rippled under the soft, black fur. And the best part....the dog's big, fourteen inch long cock throbbed and cum splased against the roo's pink pads. Alan didn't stop, he made sure to make Duncan feel good. He was returning the favour, like a good buddy.
Duncan rode his climax for a long time, his cock throbbed and cummed all over Alan's paw, soaking his fur and pads with his rich, white seed. Then his whole body relaxed and they panted like they just ran ten laps around the football field.
They forgot that the door was open the whole time. The possibility they might have been seen passed in the roo's mind quickly. No...it was late night, everybody was asleep, by the way if anybody had seen them it would be obvious, who wouldn't freak out and alarm the whole house that a pair of guys just jerked-off in the bathroom. Together. More correctly each other....
"See? Told ya' it will be good." Duncan said and stepped to the basin. He turned on the water and washed his paws. Alan watched the dog as he cleaned his paws with soap after washing Alan's cum from his fur. Then the roo looked at his own paw, glistening in dog seed, Duncan's scent lingered on his fur. He couldn't deny that he enjoyed it, but the intense pleasure brought serious questions. Why did he like it? Was he gay? Was Duncan gay? The dobie had lots of girlfriends so he couldn't be gay..... But was Alan gay? Did he make himself gay?....Alan pondered, looking at his cum covered paw.
"Let's go back to sleep, dude." Duncan smiled to him and padded away.
Alan shook his head, then stepped to the basin. He washed his paws and looked into the mirror. His cheeks were still flushed a little, his blue eyes shone with uncertainty. What if he liked males?
He didn't know if he was gay, but knew that it can't be anything bad or wrong if it felt so good.
Alan didn't really sleep that night. He calmed down a little after a while. Duncan was his good friend, with a rather unknown side, but Dunc' was Dunc', the dobbie who just wanted to have a good time.
And the roo: he was still Alan Weston. Excellent player of the football team of Fairwood High, good student, caring brother, loving son of Nick Weston and his wife. What if he liked males? It didn't change him. He actually believed that.
***
The furs in the Lawrence house had not slept well that night. Will woke up many times, and thought over and over that Roger lied to him.
Duncan woke up to take a leak one more time but didn't fool around in the bathroom again.... Matt lay half asleep in Will' bed, his tail hanging down to the floor. He couldn't sleep peacefully when his tail wasn't in bed too.
Mike snored lightly and dreamed about his friends. It was disturbing: his buddies didn't reckognize him, nobody did, his 'nightmare' ended as Duncan rolled over and nudged him a little in his sleep.
In the end....this day would be just another memory they would never forget. It will be with them for the rest of their lives. They didn't know how good friends they had and never stopped to think about it.
They will think about it, later. For some of them it will be too late .... maybe .... mabye some will stick together.
Some will wish time would turn back to this day to erase everything, giving a new, fresh start.
Every young fur in Fairwood had such a restless sleep that night, though one fur didn't wander on the fields of dreams as he was supposed to.
You'll meet him soon.
End of chapter five..... Hope you liked it, I certainly did enjoy writing this chapter. Six more characters joined our cast and don't worry, there are so much more to come (If you want me to keep writing).
