Chapter 1.

It was night time and I was leaving work my boss said to me.

"Have a good night Dave I'll see you tomorrow. Drive safe." She smiled.

"Thanks Crystal you do the same as well" I said.

With that I left and headed to my truck. As I pass through the main hall way of the hospital leading the car garage I pass sick people and werewolves. The ones who are werewolves always look at me and do small nodes. I nod back at them and I keep moving on. I never liked hospitals because it's sad and a depressing place but when you work there you move pass it and try to help the passions as much as you can. I come to the car garage and head to were my truck. I final come to my truck and press my unlock button on my key ring.

AS I climb in my truck I heard an ambulances heading into the ER garage. How I remember helping out with that. I started my vehicle and backed up heading on home. The reason I had a truck was I live out in the middle of nowhere. It was an hour later and I finally got home. The lights were off and I found that odd at 10 at night. So I went in and I sat my stuff down close by the door putting my keys on the hooks. I go into the kitchen to find a note.

Daviey,

I forgot to let you know I'll be gone for a while. My mother is very sick and I must go help her out at her time of need I'll be home in two weeks. I love you and I left food in the deepfreeze to help you out for the next two weeks. Take care.

I set the note out on the table and decided since my wife is gone to go have fun as a werewolf again. I started taking my clothes off and put them in the dirty laundry for me to clean later. I head on outside and transformed into the beast I am. I stood there and howled. A few seconds and ran off to the woods. With my medialin I contacted my friend Silver. Asking him what is he doing. So I get a fast responce and what is he doing. Playing World of Warcraft. How I never understand him and that game.

So he decides to join me and hang out. He knows I don't get many chances to be a werewolf since I never wanted to show people that I am one. So I meet up with my friend back at my house again as we head.

I smile. "Sorry I been so busy you know I am with my job. So how have you been? Have not talked to you for a while."

"I'm doing just fine. You know playing WoW and running the pack. But other than that I'm doing fine. How's come you're a werewolf now again. You go out public now?"

I gave a smile with sigh.

"Well my wife is gone right now her mother is sick and will be gone for two weeks maybe more I don't know yet. All I know is two weeks. I still have to work as a human but now I can be a wolf again. I forgot how different I am. My red fur has faded away a little I used to be redder then this."

"Well you still look nice little brother. It doesn't matter how you look as a werewolf or human so as long you have a mate that loves you and friends and family is all that matters. So anyways what do you want to do?"

"I don't really know at the moment. What do you want to do?"

"Well we can go up to the lake where the others are at. You have not seen them for a long time."

"Hey why not it is nice to see the gang again."

Silver and I headed on out and sprinted on all fours to the lake. We entered the woods and sprinted threw as we came to the lake. I stopped panting as I stood there still on all fours. As silver walked and sat down next to the others.

I finally got my breath back.

"Man I need to get out more." I look up to see the gang smiling at me.

"Silka Monta everybody."

"SHADEY!!!!!!" Kira said.

She ran up to me as I got on my knees and gave her a big hug.

"Well hey there. How have you been?"

She giggled and smiled.

"I'm good. Guess how old I am." Kira said

"Let me see your five now?"

She smiled and shook her head yes.

"Yes, I'm five now." She said with a cute smile

"Well that's great you starting to become quite the werewolf now are you." I smiled.

She blushed and ran up to Silver. She is Silvers second child. Silver held her as she was just being a kid. I come over and smile.

"Sorry I have not seen you guys for a long time I would come see you all more often but I don't want my wife knowing I'm a werewolf and along with the world right now."

"It's ok I understand what you mean." Liki said.

Liki was a child born way in the past when lycans were prisoners of the vampires. With the help of Silvers first born named Lycan helped have Liki here with us today. Liki was also the one who turned me.

Calynn she liked to be called came up and gave me a big hug.

"It's nice to see you I know what you mean but visit use more often we don't hear or see you much."

"I will start doing better." I smiled.

Lycan came up and shaked my hand. "Nice to see you again mate. I hope your job is going well. You have helped us out sharing some of your money with us so we can live in a nice apartment."

"Don't need to thank me. I do anything to help you guys out. Remember we been friends for a long time." I smiled.

Lycan gave a small laugh and sat back down. Zane sat there and nodded to me. I nodded back. HE never talked much but he kept a close eye on me making sure nothing was happening to me during high school.

I sit down and not much was said until silver spoke up.

"Shadey.... Why don't you call in work? You need some time to yourself. Be a werewolf again. You were one always, now you're not so why don't you enjoy these next two weeks.

"Well I should but hospitals don't like you taking time off so sudden. Ill guess I'll say I need a personal week. "

"Then its settle. Now since your wife is gone you don't mind we all stay at your place for a week do you?"

"Well...... I guess just don't mess with stuff all that much. My wife's eyes are like a hawk. "

Silver and the others smiled.

The gang and I get up and walked to my place. Kira wanted to sit on my shoulders as we walked back. See always called me her Uncle. I learned to except it facing it be pointless fighting about it. As she slepted I continued on.

Silver and Liki could see I had stuff on my mind. Liki could tell because he was the one who turned me into a werewolf. Silver always know when something is bugging me. We came to my house as we all enter the house. I walked in the guess bedroom and laid Kira on the bed. I close the door part way as walk into the living room. I sat down in my chair and yawned.

"Shadey..... We can tell something is on your mind. What is it?" Silver and liki said.

The others just looked at me.

I sighed and spoke.

"You know I want a child of my own, but why wife can't have a kid. She was not able to. So it kind of makes me sad. I wanted a kid. You see how I am with Kira."

"We know and I'm sorry." 0said Caylenn.

" I don't know how you feel but we are sorry. Just got to move on. Now should we go into town for a while?"

Silver shoke his head no.

"We probley shouldn't not for Shadey. I mean I know your more under control about things but I don't want to risk it. It's best we should stay. The full moon is tomorrow and we all know what that means now. So I don't want to risk it." Silver said.

Silver is the alpha of the werewolves. He makes the dission but sometimes I wonder if he did the right thing on publican the pack.

I growled lowly at my friend Silver and gave a small grunt.

Silver looked at me and shaked his head.

"If you want to we can. We are kind of out here where there is nothing to do. So I guess, but brother..... I'm keeping a close eye on you."

"Fine....."

I always wonder why I'm still treated like a little kid. I know he's looking out for me but it's like jess.

So we decided to all leave as we took Kira with us. We all got into my truck and drove off to the city. I hope I'm right about this. Maybe Silver is right about things.
