The End of the World
#3 of poetry
The end of the world shall not be brought by plagues, demons, or God.
The end of the world shall be mankind itself.
It kills the forests and dirties the waters. It builds great beasts made of iron and steel, that spew poisonous clouds and soil the air.
Its mind is clouded by greed, hatred, and fear. It kills all it see's as a threat.
It takes more than is needed and wastes what is left. It no longer lives in balance with nature, whom it neglects.
The end of the world shall not be brought by plagues, demons, or God...
...but by mankind itself.
Its fate is sealed and this prophecy shall be true, unless mankind changes its ways.
