Valley of the moons part 2: the blood stained paws

Some part of wanted to kill Zaro, yet he was still my brother. No he killed grandma and grandpa. He burned my father's kingdom when my dad took his crown away. Chapter one

Much time has passed since I married my new wife. And our kingdom has grown. Many of our wolves, who had puppies, now have pups of their own. Even General Roslyn found love, her name was starlight. Who would've thought Roslyn, would have a soft side.

The two were married a year after we were. And starlight is expecting their first litter of puppies. It was an early spring morning. And Starlight went into labor. Roslyn went to go find the wise shaman Rakiri and Nyla to help with the birth. I stayed behind to watch assist with starlight. Seeing how this is first time I've seen another wolf giving birth. I didn't know what do. As she yelped even louder, I knew that the puppies were almost here. Starlight was frightened. She asked me to hold her paw. And so I did. She continued panting rapidly.

We here now and, Rakiri and Nyla will help Starlight. You two must wait outside. We'll tell you they puppies are here. Roslyn and I waited outside the cave. Minutes pass by and still no word.

Roslyn paced back and forth anxiously awaiting the arrival the pups. Till suddenly, Starlight yelps stopped. It was quiet for a few seconds. Suddenly we both heard tiny yelps. Nyla came outside she said Roslyn come meet your new pups.

Roslyn breathed a sigh of relief and the three of us entered the cave. We walked to where Starlight was lying with her new litter of pups. Rakiri was leaving the room, but before he left and told Roslyn, she needs to rest for a bit. Roslyn nods and thanked him. Roslyn walked up to kiss his mate on the check.

She awoke to Roslyn smiling at her. He asked how you are feeling dear. I'm fine, just a little tired she replied. Roslyn, come and meet your three sons, Yuji, Riki and Shiro. As they watched their pups nurse.

Chapter 2

Just then one of the servants came in. The note reads your majesty this morning our one of our guards on patrol, discovered bodies of wolves from the south have all been killed. He called for reinforcements. When the other guards we arrived at the scene. It was like nothing we've ever seen.

As we checked for any survivors, we discovered that many of the wolves have been burned alive. Some of them have had the spines or necks snapped with great force. The sun began to set as we finished attending to the royal duties, Nyla and I went to the dining room to eat dinner. Something was troubling her; she hadn't said a word since this morning. I knew she was worried, but there was nothing I could do. Our guard duty is to stop any intruders from entering the valley and it's the leader job to make sure justice is served, even if it cost his life.

Meanwhile I was still running to the southern village. I knew I had no time to waste so I kept running no matter what. The sun rose and fell for many days. Until I Finally I reached the southern village. I was horrible sight to see.

As I walked around the village, I wasn't able find any clues as to who did this. At first I thought it was human, but there were no footprints or traces of them anywhere. As I pondered for a moment, but I could not figure out who did this. Suddenly I heard a rustling in the bushes. As I turned and got into my defensive pose I asked who goes there.

Show yourself I demanded. The rustling sound grew louder. And I stood there snarling and the unknown animals. Then out of the blue, huge claws appeared from the bushes. My eyes were locked at on the enemy, as I prepared to lunge at beast. The animal slowly walked out of the bushes.

When saw this creature, it wasn't like anything I've ever seen. Its body black as coal with wings that were longer than its body. With claws larger than that of a grizzly. He stood growling at me assuming the attack position. As I was about to lunge at the dragon, two more appeared out the bushes. They snarled at me.

And I snarled back at them. I could tell by the look their eyes they were hungry and the want me. The dragons formed a triangle as they prepared to attack me. The two dragons charged at me. I waited until one got close enough. Then I dove at one of them, grabbing one by the neck and using my strength and tossing him into the other one. They flew about 3 feet slamming against a tree. The immense weight of their bodies snapped the tree in half. Their bodies fell to the ground. But neither one got back up.

Two down and one left. As snarled at the beast. I ready myself to end his life. Something from behind, grabbed me by the neck, It was another dragon. As I struggled break free. The Last remain dragon, stood on its hind legs and he walked up to me, and punched me in the stomach. I groaned in pain. That blow to my stomach cause me cough up blood. I started to feel dizzy my vision began to fade. The last thing I remember was one of the dragons saying, Lord Zaro will pleased to see this runt. As my head fell forward and I didn't remember anything after that.

Chapter 6

Hours later, I woke in a large spine-chilling castle. I tried to stand, but I realized that I was shackled to the ground. I looked around for a way out. But everywhere I looked I saw ligers. I was stuck here. Then all of I sudden a large wooden doors swing open.

The ground began to shake with great force. Something was coming it was big, real big. The footsteps were getting louder and louder. I stared at the doorway waiting to see was making that noise. All of the dragons knelled as they waited for the leader to step through those doors.

Finally a larger dragon came through the doorway. I watched as he walks toward his thrown. He sat down. His eyes began to glow a bright yellow. He lifted his arm swung it down. I heard a large creaking noise; I turned my head and watched as the doors closed by its self. I turned back to stare back at him.

There was something familiar about him. His eyes were not that of dragon, he had the eyes of a wolf. Greeting brother he said. Brother? I said. You got the wrong wolf I have no brother, especially a dragon. I explained.

Maybe you'll remember if I do this he said. He stood up and he walked down the stairs. As he got closer and closer, his body began to change. I watched as he began to grow fur. As he continued down the stairs, his body grew smaller and smaller. His arms and legs into paws, his back arched down ward, And a wolf tail appeared. Finally his mouth stretched out and became a muzzle. He leaped from the stairs and landed right in front of me.

Zaro...it can't be. I thought you died. I said. After I fell into the river, the current swept me far from the valley. A group a humans found me and to my body to a lab. They fixed up my wounds. And I was placed in tested tube, chemicals in that tube put me in suspended animation 5 years. During that time, the humans altered my body for the own selfish reasons.

They wanted to create the world's first dragon. Every day was hell to me. As I grew stronger by the day, the experiments grew more and more intense. The pain endure filled me with rage. I know what hell tasted like, brother.

Until finally, day came when I woke up, I was able to shatter the glass chamber with my physic powers. A human walked up welcome me to the world. He told me have physic powers that far exceed any human by at least 10 folds. You have the ability to transform into a dragon, thanks to the dragon fossil we dug up years ago. So what happens, to me now?

Then 3 more glass chambers broke, revealing more dragons. The dragons stood up and jumped down, sitting in front of us. The human told us we would travel the world and I make billions dollars. We created not serve humans and you abused our body at your own free will. This will stand. My eyes began glow to bright yellow. The light grew brighter and brighter until it consumed my whole body.

When the light dissipated I emerged as dragon. With my new body I had, I felt indestructible. The humans ran up to contain me but I used my psychic powers lift all human up with one hand in the air, and then breaking their bones, by closing my hand. They all scream in agony as their bones were breaking. And I enjoyed every moment. The dragons were getting hungry. I told them to be patient, my brothers. You'll meal will be here shortly. I said.

Chapter 7

With one swing of my arm, the humans went flying. Their bodies slammed against the wall with a loud thud. Most of the humans died on impact. But somehow 5 humans managed still alive. The army of dragons came charging at me. The first one jumped, I ran up and slid underneath him with my mouth opened, my fangs tore his belly open as slid down, causing its entrails spill out. He died instantly. More and more dragons came, I kept on attacking cutting and slicing their throats.

With the army of dragons defeated, final I can go after Zaro. I ran through the doors and searched every room. Where did he go? I asked myself. All of a sudden, Zaro's tail struck me from behind. My body flew backwards. Then Zaro's tail swung at me once more, causing me to smashing through 3 walls. I shook off my injuries, and quickly got back up. Zaro inhaled a deep breath fire spew out. I quickly jumped out of the way. But before I land, he teleported right in front me. He grabbed me by my neck and threw me out a 15 story window. My body bounced and rolled, and I skid across the floor, eventually hitting the pillar.

Chapter 8; the blood stained paws

He screamed in pain and he fell to the ground lying in his own blood. I landed on the stairs. As turned to look at Zaro, I assuming that he was dead. And waited for him to get up, moments pass and nothing happened

Even with the large gash in side, he still had willed to stand. He sprinted toward me, blood oozing out his side. I charged at him to deliver the final blow, as I ran toward him, I wonder if I Zaro was right. Am I willing to kill my own brother? I had no choice; I can't let him kill anyone anymore. As Zaro was about dive at my throat, I kicked him in the jaw. I heard bones jaw break and he flew.

His body flew in the air. While his body was in the air, I grabbed him by the neck. I stood there with his neck in my jaws. I threw his ass down, slamming him against the ground. Standing there with his neck in my jaws, he lied there without saying. Opening his eyes to stare at me, he used telepathy to speak. What are you waiting for, go on, Kill me he said.

What do me sir? Roslyn asked. Zaro was responsible my parents murder and the murder of the southern wolves, I replied. Are you alright sir? Roslyn asked. I'm just a...I collapsed without warning. I awoke many days later all wrapped in bandages. I was in my bedroom; I looked down to find Nyla at my side.

Nyla, I said quietly. She woke up, and she cried tears of joy. What happened, I asked. You fainted after defeating Zaro, fortunately Roslyn was there and he carried you home. Rakiri mended you wounds. He said you're lucky to be alive. And you've been sleeping ever since. She leaned to kiss me and I placed my hand around her head. She pulled away for a bit. Honey, I have the something I need to show you. Let me you paw, she asked. With my paw in her paw, she took my paw and placed it on her belly. With my hand on her stomach, I felt something move around. Yes that's right sweetheart, I'm pregnant. We both smiled at each other, and kissed her once more. Nyla, I'm cold I said.

Spring was arrived few months later. Most of the animals had already given birth, but not Nyla. As the hours went, on I started to worry. I wonder if she was okay. I help her hand as she began push.

Her contractions were getting stronger. I hated see her in so much pain. She pushed once more, but nothing happened. (Panting).... She took one final and breath and gave one big final pushed, and....first pup was born. It was a boy. I carried my son to nurse his mother.

Few minutes later, more were born, 3 more boys. I carried each one to nurse from Nyla. Thinking that she was done giving birth, I turned around. But then without warning ...she pushed out 3 more, three girls. I waited till she was done this time, making sure she had no more pups.

Hours pass and no pups were born. Uh oh... she said. And started to push again! Oh shit! I said. She pushes ... and pushed and till finally 3 more slid out her birth canal, 2 boys and one girl. All 10 puppies are healthy and strong. I'm surprised we had this many. I thought myself. As me and Nyla lied next to our new puppies, we kissed once more and they fell asleep.

Young ones I know you can't see me right now I said. But I want you hear my voice and always remember these words , Although the road to life has its ups and downs, be like the moon and continue to rise up no what.
