About life and such
Had inspiration suddenly to write whilst talking to my dearest friend, Blackfanged Leopard.

Reed of life.
Be the reed, not the tree.
for things that bend, fare better to blend.
Redirect the hate, the flow.
survive the day, the glow.
sun that rises, to face a new day
moon that follows, to jade the old day
One day you will flower, a beautiful blossom
One night you will wilter, a sorrowful possum
Endure and measure, the pains and gains of life.
Embrace and welcome, new knowledge and wisdom.
Censure and treasure, the rains and grains of strife.
Chase and grab, true heritage and freedom.
The seeds you leave behind, flowing through the rift
The needs you left beyond, glowing amidst the buds
One they they, too will sprout as thee.
To facce the new day, stout as thee.
