Chapter 12
Guardians Of The Universe
The war is over, the aftermath of it now cleaned up. The battlefield now filled with burial mounds of fallen friends and allies. The Dragons now flew their seperate ways, all except the council members Kate, Korak, Syrris, and Seileen, who where the four members who survived a war seemingly impossible to win. With Kate's magical skills, Syrris's broken bones where healed. Her right wing and her left front and right legs now healed. James was fast asleep in Kate's storage stomach. However, the dragons saw large ships in the sky, answering to a distress call James's crew made the day before battle. Kate spit James out. As usual he had a look of disappointment whe he was awoken from sleep.
James looked to the sky saying "these poor bastards don't know its over obviously".
The largest ship containing the commander landed in front of James and Kate. The first one to come out and approach James was a commander named Joshua.
"So where's the fight, James?" He said
"It's over Joshua. We took very heavy casualties, but the battle is won. Our greatest enemy lost this plannet meaning he cannot harness the life force of it or the inhabitants of it to gain more power". James said
Joshua nodded his head, and glanced at the dragons next to James. The dragons didn't seem to like Joshua.
"Friends of yours?" Joshua asked
"Yes, and they seem rather suspicious of you... Knowing you're a power hungry douchebag, I cannot blame them". James said
"You know prison is automatic for those who are insubordinate, James"?
James laughed and then nodded his head.
Joshua dismissed James's smart ass atitude with distain then said "well so long as you know. You know that you fought your fourth war. You know the rules James. You're going home". Joshua said
"I am home Joshua. I like this plannet". James said
"And how will you start your life here. Who will show you everything you need to know on this plannet? I will not leave you here without good reason. And that reason also includes the guarentee of your safety". Joshua said
Kate spreadded a wing, then pulled James next to her. Kate then glared at Joshua with a loud hiss making her opinion of Joshua very clear. "I will keep James. I'll be the one who will guarentee his safety. And I'm the one who will be sure he never sees another battlefield. He's had more than he can take, plus I love him. Not so sure I like you though, so don't get close. I bite..." Kate said with a toothy grin, making it clear to Joshua of her intentions if he got too close.
Joshua nodded his head. "I'm well aware of James's history. His whole adult life has been nothing but war and very bloody battles. Many commit suicide when they face things James has been through and he's a strong individual. Our policies do permit solders who are to be discharged to stay on a plannet when they fall in love. But the policy is, when it is with another human. I can however report James as KIA. But I wish James to come back to Earth. I love breaking up interspecies relationships". Josh said with a grin on his face.
James walked from Kate's wing. Kate gave James a look of confusion not knowing his intensions. James raised his hand telling her to stay where she is. "Relax", James said. He walked over to Joshua casually. He then quickly grabbed Joshua's neck and threw him to the ground. He was on top of Joshua and James then pulled out his side arm and pressed it hard to Joshua's forehead. "I'm not leaving motherfucker and thats final!" James screamed with a look of bloodlust in his eyes. Joshua's men saw this they pointed their firearms at James. Kate, Syrris, Seileen, and Korak jumped between James and Joshua's men.
"Go ahead, shoot you batards. Your bullets cannot pierce our hides". Kate said
"I'm not leaveing Joshua. Either wright me down as KIA in your report, or discharge me and leave me here. The third option means me putting a bullet in your head". James said as he pressed his pistol even harder to Joshua's forehead.
Joshua thought about the tight situation he was in. He saw te bloodlust in James's eyes and realized if he did not comply with James, James would kill him without hezitation. "Alright James. No one needs to die here. I'll report you as KIA. You're dead to us". Joshua said
James got off of Joshua, and walked up to Kate. Syrris who was standing next to kate licked James on the face.
"Hey! Syrris!?!" James said
"What? You taste so damn good and I didn't have a little human snack in a while. Also, you cannot pretend you don't like it..." Syrris said with a sly grin.
Joshua's men where carrying James's wounded men. Alex, because of him being disabled due to loosing a leg in battle will be discharged. James saw a solder carrying him. James walked up to Alex and said his goodbyes to his friend.
"You know... I have a confession James". Alex said
"And what would that be". James replied
"That time when you and Syrris played that Joke on me, with her eating me and all. Besides getting the shit scared out of me, I liked it". Alex said
"Hey Syrris! Found you a human snack"! James yelled
Syrris ran quickly to James saying "where!?!?"
"Here!" James said pointing at Alex.
Syrris looked at Alex And licked her lips. She pryed Alex from the solder carrying him and placed Alex in her mouth. Syrris slowly massaged Alex with her tongue, giving him a more pleasant experience than the last time. Syrris then slowly began to swallow Alex. Her throat first began to message Alex's leg, then his hips, and his back and neck as he decended down Syrris's throat. Alex moaned because of the pleasure of having such warm, soft, and wet flesh caress his whole body. When he was in Syrris's storage stomach, Syrris quickly regurgitated him saying "was that better than last time!?!?" She asked.
"Oh hell yah it was!" Alex said with an enthusiastic expression. "Too bad I gotta go home". Alex added with a saddened voice.
"Well I'm sure you need to go now And start a life back home". Syrris said
"What life? I'm in the same boat as James. No family on my world". Alex added
Syrris quickly realized where this is going. She shook her head in disbelief. She was beginning to really like Alex.
"Alex and Syrris siting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G..." James said
Syrris got angry saying "shut the fuck up or youu're lunch human!" James recalled the time he got enraged at Syrris for saying the whole kissing in the tree thing back when he, Kate, and Syrris where in the Deep. He began laughing at the irony.
"Best way to a dragon's heart is through their stomach. In other words, you cannot stop it Syrris. So go with it instead". James said tapping Syrris on her shoulder.
Syrris remembered the times picking on James. And she was actually picking on James for being in love with a dragon In secret. Now fate is deciding to get Syrris back for doing so.
James was next to Kate. He yelled to Syrris. "This is what you get for picking on me! It's called Karma, dragon! And yes, Karma is a real bitch!" He said as he was laughing.
Syrris took a really deep breath trying not to get too mad. The anger James was causing could be the end of him if she didn't calm down. Also Syrris knew if she was to kill James, Kate would die with him. And Kate was a long time friend ogf Syrris.
"Ok, want to stay with me Alex?" Syrris hesitantly said.
"Of course! Someone it wouldn't be fair if James was the only one able to stay!" Alex said
"Hmmm, very well. You can stay with me", Syrris said.
The solder who carried allex shrugged his shoulders and walked back to his ship. Jackie and Nathan walked up to James shaking his hand and said "it was fun working with you James. We hope you'll be happy here".
James smiled at them saying "I will be happy here. May you two be safe as you finnish your four years".
"We will. And we will try to return and visit one day. Nathan said
"I'd like that very much". James said
Nathan and Jackie wen't into Joshua's shipps allong with the rest of James's surviving men.
