Fun and Drinks

A continuation of Becoming a Fun Guy, the fungal corruption on the mountain begins to spread, prompting an evacuation of the nearby farms that were on the border of the range. Though some heed the call there is one rancher that doesn't want to leave his land for anything, something that he may find himself getting the wish of.

It wasn't easy working on one of the last ranches on the land; the rest either bought out and turned to industrialized agriculture or just left to follow. While most had left years before, the horse that sat on the farmhouse's porch had no intention of leaving as he looked out at the sunset dipped below the mountains bordering his land. The more he watched, the more he knew that he knew that he would never leave this place; even with him being the last generation of his bloodline, he had those who worked on this ranch that would take it over for him and bury him under the land. One of those ranchhands that he had more recently hired could be seen coming out of the barn and heading towards him while the others rounded up the last of the cattle for the night, a concerned look on the boa constrictor's face as he adjusted his overalls.

"We managed to get them all secured and just working to get all the gates closed and the feed troughs full," the snake replied as he gestured back towards the barn. "Are you sure that all this is necessary, Arnie?"

"Jules, I already told you that this order comes above me," Arnold replied as he sipped on the beer he had cracked open. It's some sort of government order saying that there's an invasive species spreading up the mountain, and it's causing disturbances. Also, once you and the others are done, I want you to get out of here and head back to the city. There's no need for anyone to watch the herd when they're all cooped up for the night."

The horse's words didn't seem to sit well with the boa constrictor as he looked back out at the barn. "Are you sure?" Jules asked. "It sounds like there's something going on up in the mountains, something they're not telling us, and the last thing I would want to do is abandon you up here all by yourself taking care of everything in an emergency. I would be able to stay over in the guest room with you, just to lend a helping hand if needed."

"Nah, it's probably some sort of overblown manhunt or something," Arnold scoffed while he waved a hand dismissively. "Head back to the city, don't want to be stuck up here with nothing to do once the moon rises."

Though Jules wanted to say something, he could see the horse's gaze look away from him and stare off into the distance. Arnold took another sip of his beer as he saw the ranch hand go back to the barn to finish helping the others, the light coming on inside of it as they finished up. Once he was alone once more he allowed the frown that had been playing on the edges of his muzzle to show finally. In truth, he knew that there was something going on up in those mountains that they weren't telling the people below, but once more he wasn't going to let anything force him off this land as he felt his phone buzz in his pocket...

Meanwhile a large bear and reindeer man sat at the fencepost on the edge of the field, the two of them sharing a cigarette as they watched the doors get secured shut. They had been responsible for driving the cattle in and shutting up the gates so that nothing could get in easily, though at the moment they were taking a break and waiting so that they wouldn't have to help with the last of the tedious set-up for the livestock. They believed they had already done the work they needed to and considering the moon was rising they were already there longer then what the horse usually had them for. This was a strange situation though and the fact that they were being told to head into the city instead of getting use of the large quarters that Arnold had set up for them as ranch hands so they didn't have to trek down the winding road every day.

The two talked about whether they wanted to hit a strip bar or the casino before they noticed something from the tree line filtering into the field that they had just cleared out. At first it looked like some sort of fog, but as they continued to watch it flow through the trees it looked more like a miasma that cascaded down the field like a liquid. The two of them glanced over at each other, then the bear crushed out the cigarette and opened the gate with the reindeer in order to investigate. While it was still fairly far away they remained cautious as they noticed there was something glowing on the landscape that was spreading just behind the line of fog. Though it was hard to see in the darkness what little light from the moon overhead had illuminated that the luminescence came from what looked like mushrooms sprouting on the trees and grass.

"What the hell..." the bear said as he stopped and looked, squinting his eyes as the growths grew wherever the swirling green mists touched after a short while. As he continued to watch it he saw the reindeer stepping forward even further and hopped up on the fence. "Hey, what do you think you're doing man?"

"Trying to grab one of those mushrooms man," the reindeer replied as he continued to move along the fence, keeping above the strange miasma.

"C'mon, stop being an idiot," the bear hissed. "That could be chlorine gas or something!"

"Chlorine gas that isn't killing anything and causing mushrooms to grow?" the reindeer shot back, the bear shaking his head and waving his hands dismissively before turning to the side. As the bear was about to say something else, he noticed movement in the tree line that was further up to the left, a glowing apparition that left a silhouette of some sort of creature that was moving through the shadows. Before he could point it out to the reindeer though he heard a snap of wood and a cry of distress that came to his side.

The bear turned just in time to see the cloud of green gas rise up in the air as the reindeer fell down on the ground after the fence broke underneath him, landing on his back. The bear shouted and ran forward into the mists, which were now disturbed by both his presence and the one that had gotten the wind knocked out of him when he fell backward. The reindeer pointed and told him not to say a word while coughing hard as he struggled to regain his breath while being pulled out of the miasma. As the bear leaned down to help him up he caught a whiff of the tendrils that had formed from their presence and detected a strong earthy, almost musty scent as he got the other man onto his hooves.

Fortunately, the reindeer hadn't gotten far into the mists, and it wasn't long before they had gotten out of it, the reindeer still coughing and hacking to regain his breath while they looked back at the encroaching fog. "There's something weird going on here," the bull grumbled as they continued to make their way back to the homestead at a slower pace in order to help the stag catch his breath. "We need to tell the others immediately and get the hell out of here, you gonna be alright until then?"

When there was no response from the man next to him the bear turned to ask him again, only to see that the reindeer had stumbled once more. This time however it was because he was clutching his chest as his eyes practically bulged out of his head, the ursine male gasping and backing away as he saw him fall to his knees while twitching and spasming. In the darkness of the night the bear could see glowing tendrils spreading over his muzzle from his mouth and nostrils, these growing silver as they also appeared around his eyes and ears. They weren't just growing through his fur either as he could see the tendrils pushing in as well while a very unexpected reaction was also happening in the form of his pants tenting from his erection.

The bear shouted for the reindeer to follow him but the reindeer had a moment of clarity and shouted for his companion to run, though his words were stopped short as he fell on his knees. For a brief moment it sounded like he was choking on something but as the bear considered going back to try and help him get back to his feet to get help he noticed something happening to his shirts. It had stretched out around his stomach and when the buttons began to fly off it showed a rapidly distending stomach as the silvery mycelium spread out from his belly button, eventually the swelling pushing up until it joined the bulge at the bottom of his neck that was rapidly spreading upwards. The bear's jaw dropped as the ones of the reindeer stretched open from the dozens of Beech mushrooms that put their way out along with spores that poured out of his nostrils.

There was a loud snap and the transforming reindeer's cock popped out and immediately started to spurt jet after jet of tainted cum as more mushrooms grew over his body, quickly assimilating his flesh as the bear could only look on in horror. The sight of the one he had been joking and sharing a cigarette becoming infested with fungi that also started to grow out of his ears and stretch out his nostrils had finally snapped him out of his stupor. He definitely wasn't going to be saving his friend though as the clothing he wore started to rot from the mycelia that grew over it and as he saw a silvery cloud forming around him that mingled with the green he realized that they were spores. While the reindeer was lost the others needed to know what was happening as he turned to run to the barn, unaware of the faint glowing outline of his feet that he left in his wake.

Those that were in the barn didn't even know what was happening outside, the sound of the radio blaring while they finished up with the preparation for the cows. As the large tiger finished pouring water into the trough he was about to put the buckets away when he suddenly heard the song that they were listening to get cut off with a piercing screech. It had come from the radio, and as everyone turned to it the sound suddenly stopped and a voice came on. "If you are hearing this broadcast, the state and federal government is issuing an immediate evacuation order for anyone that is currently around the mountain range that is fifty miles north of the city," the stern voice issued. "An unknown biological agent has spread throughout the area; this material is highly infectious and fungal in nature; if anyone comes in contact with unusually colored clouds coming from the forest, they are advised to be quarantined immediately."

As those that were in the barn continued to look at one another in shock the message just repeated itself, the tiger watching as large Mastiff turned the radio off before looking at the others. "How close are we to done?" he asked, everyone announcing that they were pretty much ready to go with only a few minor things left. "Alright, that sounds good enough to me. If one of you could go and get those two jokers that are outside still to bust their asses to get in here, I'll go find Jules and tell him the news. Maybe he can get that stubborn owner to go with us now that they're doing-"

The mastiff was suddenly interrupted as the back barn door was slammed open, nearly knocking over the muscular orca that was about to go out and do what their foreman had instructed. "We have to get out of here!" the bear shouted in a panic as the others moved to help. "Something... something just happened to Mitch..."

As the orca went to get the bear down onto the nearby chair with the mastiff, the tiger that had been watching the entire thing moved past the two of them in order to look out at the field. He wanted to try and see what the other man was talking about, only to see that there was nothing there save for a green mist that was starting to encroach upon the barn. The reindeer was nowhere to be found, and he wasn't sure if that was concerning or not, but what he did see was that in the areas with the swirling mists, the fenceposts had mushrooms growing on them that definitely weren't there before. Considering the broadcast they had just heard it didn't bode well for their timeframe, at this point they probably only had a few minutes until the mists got to the front door.

The tiger turned back to say that there was nothing there before he saw what the others had already noticed; the bear was starting to groan and tear at his clothing as some sort of glowing orange lines could be seen spreading from his fingers to his hands and up his forearms. The same thing was happening to his boots except that the leather was dissolving while the tendrils spread up and something began to grow from between his toes. Mushrooms... they were starting to grow from between his fingers and toes, but before anyone could do anything about it something crashed through the wood wall. It was the infested reindeer that let out a bellow before pouncing on top of the leopard that had been on the other side.

The feline let out a yelp of surprise as he was forced down out of sight, the only thing that can be seen was the silver glow. The mastiff shouted for everyone to run for it before turning to the bear to check his condition, only to see that he had cheste dup to him while he was distracted. An orange glow had permeated the ursine farmer's sclera as the spores he had breathed in slightly finally rooted into his mind. While the huge dog was strong with years of farm work the bear was too, and the mycelia of the mushrooms had already infiltrated the tissue of his muscle and had begun to mutate it. The spores had only grown more potent with each infestation and as the tiger watched in shock the bear clamped his hand over the mastiff's face.

Hearing their foreman let out a muffled cry of help kicked the tiger into action and he did the only thing he could think of, grabbing a shovel and hitting the bear in the head. While he wasn't sure what would happen it seemed to have the desired effect as the other man let out a howl of pain before stumbling over and letting the dog go. The mastiff shook his head and thanked the tiger who helped him up, but as more shouts could be heard, he saw that the spores had not only cascaded into the barn but that the reindeer wasn't the only creature that was attacking them. Several of the farmhands that that tried to escape were intercepted by what could only be described as mushroom creatures, some being pushed back into the cloud of spores while others were taken by far more intimate means like a kiss that forced a cloud of them into the mouth of the one they had trapped.

Almost immediately, mushrooms and mycelia sprouted from those that were being infested and with several having been taken down right at the front door, blocking them as they saw the clothing they wore deteriorate rapidly from the aura of spores that hung around them. The tiger looked around frantically before he noticed there was one way open, the hole that the reindeer had made. The creature had managed to push the leopard far enough away that they could scoot by them and with the cloud of spores in the back and creatures in the front it was the only way. The mastiff looked confused for a second but after the feline had gotten his attention again the two hopped the empty stable wall and quickly darted past the two.

The tiger's jaw dropped as he saw just how the reindeer had decided to take his fellow ranch hand, the leopard's body trembling undernath the creature as the thick spongy cock pushed deep into his maw. He could see how deep it was getting from how much his neck was bulging out as shelf mushrooms were already starting to sprout from it. At first he thought that the other feline's eyes had rolled back into her head, but instead it was bright white mycelia that had grown over it. That was more than enough for him to see as he helped lead the mastiff out through the hole and into the still unspoiled ranch land.

"We need to tell Arnold what's going on and get the hell out of here," the tiger said as he looked to the farmhouse. "Hopefully Jules is with him; I didn't see him in the barn so hopefully he is still with him. With or without them we can still get to the truck and get out of here, right?"

When there was no response the tiger turned back around to check on the other man, only to suddenly be rushed at and lifted off of his feet. As he got turned around and slammed up against a nearby tree he saw the mastiff growling at him, tendrils of cyan creeping out past his lips and out of his nostrils. The bear had managed to infest him before he had attempted to rescue him, the tiger realized, his mistake noticed too late as the mastiff took his hand and licked it with his glowing tongue before pushing it against his groin. The second he did the material quickly succumbed to the corruption and melted away, exposing both their groins as the canine's cock was fully erect and pressing against him.

With the mastiff running his hands back up his shirt the tiger could see that the tendrils of mycelia had moved quick, spreading down his chest towards his groin that dripped with glowing pre. While the creature could have just as easily breathed spores onto him or thrown him into the clouds that were slowly engulfing the barn and surrounding area there was another way he wished to infest the feline instead. It was hte same way the others in the barn who had been captured were getting, the tiger's buff body trembling as he could feel the slightly squishy cock push up into him. Before it had pushed between his butt cheeks he saw that the head was flaring out and that small mushrooms were already sprouting on his sack, but that quickly disappeared as he was quickly spread open and pumped into.

It didn't take long before the tiger was gripping the tree, the mycelia sprouting on his body merging with the wood as spores quickly came out of his mouth with every breath. His stomach had inflated from the spores that were being pumped into his body and as it glowed with a bright red light his skin began to giggle and ripple. While the others were starting to become more mobile and begin to make their way towards the farmhouse the infested feline would remain, his body merging with the trunk as mushrooms grew out of every orifice once the infested mastiff had pulled out of him. The pleasure that came with his cock remained, however, replaced with his hole being stretched out by more fungi as many more began to grow out of the fur on his stomach and chest to obfuscate his body even more while he pumped out more spores to add to the cloud.

At the house both Arnold and Jules had been inside discussing their final evacuation plans, the boa constrictor having come back from the barn once he saw the progress, when the cries of the ranch hands caused their heads to shoot up. Both of them went to the door of the house and as they did the bright green miasma spread over the front gates and was starting to cross the lawn, along with creatures that were twitching and spasming as they approched. They could see the glowing mycelia spreading quickly over the infested ranch hands that were coming towards them like zombies. The two stood there dumbfounded before they saw the reindeer emerge through another wooden wall of the barn and start to rush towards them, which prompted Arnold to push the other man back into the house.

"What... what the hell..." Jules stammered in shock as Arnold slid the lock into place.

"Don't lose yourself now," Arnold grumbled as he finished securing the door. "I think it's time to go, but before we do we need to arm ourselves."

The cool demeanor and rather cold plan of the horse had caused Jules to balk slightly as he watched his boss move to the back of the house. "Those are our people out there!" Jules practically shouted. "Are you really going to shoot them?"

"Only if they get in my way," Arnold replied as he opened the door to the study where a shotgun and several other weapons hung on the wall. "They may push me off my land now, but I'll be damned if I can't come back to reclaim it once-"

The promises of the horse were swiftly interrupted as the window near the guns shattered, stopping the two in their tracks as a plume of spores came in through it. Almost immediately smaller mushrooms began to grow over the frame and along the wall as one of the infested ranch hands quickly crawled their way in while staring at them with glowing eyes. With their plans to arm themselves dashed and spores leaking in not only through the broken window but also the front door Arnold pushed Jules to head up the stairs towards the second floor. As they made their way towards them the sounds of glass breaking could be heard from other rooms of the house.

It was just like being in a zombie movie, Jules thought to himself, except there was no sounds that came from the creatures as they rushed up towards the second floor. The two of them quickly made their way up to Arnold's bedroom where he went over towards the window while Jules attempted to barricade the door. The snake found it ironic that this was where he wanted to be eventually, except he didn't envision it being like this as the horse quickly opened the window and looked outside. While the cloud of spores had settled over the land like a fog the eddies of wind had kept it from the garage for the moment, which meant that if they could just get outside and hop to a tree that grew near the house then perhaps they could race to the truck that was inside and still escape.

The window on that plan was quickly closing though as the two made their way out of the window and across the roof. As they did Jules couldn't help but notice that with the destruction to the barn that the cows had gotten out, though as they made their way back towards the pasture they didn't look bothered by the spores. Unlike the ranch hands that were becoming completely overgrown there wasn't a single mushroom glowing on them, though when the serpent squinted he thought that maybe their udders looked a bit glowing. A smack on the shoulder from Arnold quickly brought his attention back to the task at hand as the two of them left from the house to the tree while the ranch hands continues to infiltrate the house.

As quietly as they could the two climbed down, watching the glowing lights in the house as the infested made their way through the house looking for them. It appeared that they managed to get out of their range however and they snuck their way towards the garage as quickly as they could. The spores were quickly approaching the driveway though and it wouldn't be long before the last bits of land were completely enveloped. Though Arnold looked out at his completely enveloped ranch forlornly his gaze was quickly diverted by Jules gasping, turning to see a shadowy creature step out from the garage they were heading towards.

It was another one of those creatures, but unlike the ones that had attacked the ranch house this one walked far more slowly and deliberately as he left a trail of mushrooms in its wake. "Where do you think you're going?" the creature asked, a smirk forming on his muzzle as they could see mushrooms growing everywhere on their body, including their saber teeth. "You don't want to leave your land, do you Arnold?"

"Who are you?" Arnold asked, both men surprised that this creature could talk. "How do you know by my name?"

"I know everything about you," the creature growled. "Or at least whatever your ranch hands knew, we are all connected. We know that you are deeply rooted to the land, so I came here to make you an offer to make that more... permanent."

"I've had offers like that before," Arnold growled. "But I also know when I'm cornered, so if I go with you without a fight then just let Jules go. Surely you can spare one creature."

The infested sabrewolf chuckled at that, prompting Arnold to tilt his head in confusion. "We could make that deal, but I don't think your friend will want to leave your side," the creature pointed out. "From what we've seen there might be a little more to your relationship, at least from the snake's point of view."

Arnold looked over at Jules to ask what that meant, only to see the jaw of the other man practically on the ground. When he could feel the eyes of the equine staring at him Jules slowly turned towards him with a blush on his face. "I... didn't know if you would consider it," Jules confessed. "I tried dropping hints but you are so concerned about the ranch..."

"I think you two have a lot to catch up on," Serathin said as he gestured back towards the ranch. "But time is drawing short and we have other places to be. If you wish to take my offer I have prepared a spot already, or you can attempt to keep escaping and join the ranks of your ranch hands."

The two only discussed a little bit but already knew the answer; Arnold didn't want to leave his ranch and with the draconic sabrewolf taking it over there was only one way he could probably keep it. When he told Jules of his decision the snake replied that he knew he would say that and he would join him in watching over the land. The mushroom creature merely nodded and led them back towards the ranch, holding out his hand and causing the spores to clear a path for them to the middle of the ranch. When they got there they found that part of the pasture had been turned to a thick mud pit.

Serathin told the two to strip and get in the mud pit however they wished, and with the spores closing back around the path they had taken there was no escape from their decision. With the confession of Jules and the situation they were in they decided to go for it, especially since the stallion had been rather lonely for a long time and the snake seemed eager enough. Once they had determined that Arnold went on his back as he had been in down in the dirt before. He let out a slight huff as he felt the cool mud squish against his back, feeling it conform around his body as Jules came in after him while sinking up past his ankles.

"This is... not how I fantasized our first time being," Jules said with a nervous chuckle as he managed to get himself straddled around Arnold's midsection.

"Wouldn't be the first time I did something like this," Arnold replied with a laugh of his own before suddenly moaning as his cock twitched. "Oh... I can feel something... my back is tingling."

"That would be the spores that I used to make this place," Serathin explained. "Fungi are great at filtering mud."

The two looked at each other and while Arnold attempted to say that he could already start to feel something growing inside of him it was interrupted when Jules used the mud to his advantage to sink down further. It allowed his tailhole to start pushing up against the tip of the increasingly throbbing member of the horse without even having to bend down. Though the two hadn't realized it their minds had already been infested the second Serathin had stood in front of them, the spores being pushed back and the infested herding them to his location. While it was the lightest of exposures it was enough to alter their chemistry to lower their inhibitions and begin to think of the fungi more favorably, at least enough so that the hybrid could get them in this position.

Once they were properly in position, the snake let out a soft gasp as he allowed himself to sink further into the mud, pushing up past his shins while the horse's body started to be submerged as well. With more surface area he was going slower then the snake that was on top of him, which allows his rather thick member to slide deeper inside of him. At first this was just the two of them having sex but even before the draconic sabrewolf walked up on him they could both feel something happening to their bodies. The spores that Serathin had used in order to clean and filter the mud were starting to infiltrate their bodies, but as the two could see the glowing cock of the infested hybrid stretch open with dozens of tiny tendrils they realized that it wouldn't be the mud that would fully infest them.

It was also the reason that Serathin had him in the position they were in; the mischevious smile that was on his face had grown while he trailed around towards the backside of the two. The mycelia on his feet had stretched out at first in order to allow him to walk on top of the mud but once he had gotten into position it did the opposite and pulled him down. They could see that the horror of the situation had worn off with the horse's cock stretching out the tailhole of the snake that had already sank halfway down on the shaft. The mud was like a slip and the draconic sabrewolf was able to easily move through it to get right at the exposed hole of Arnold.

The horse had already been huffing as soon as the insides of Jules had started to squeeze around his shaft, but having the tendrils tickling between his rear caused Arnold to gasp and buck up. The mud had suctioned around the legs of the snake by this point and kept him pinned in, which meant that the throbbing member had no place to go but deeper inside of him. At the same time Serathin slid up the back of the snake and Jules shuddered from feeling the soft, spongy flesh of the mushrooms that grew out of the purple and black fur to press against his scales. The eyes of the serpent suddenly widened even more as he was pushed down by the head, nearly causing the two muzzles to press against one another as Arnold's head sank further to the point the mud covered his eyes.

As Serathin started to push his cock into the horse below the still exposed muzzle of the horse gasped loudly as Jules looked down, their chests pressing together while the draconic sabrewolf pushed on his back. With their bodies sandwiched together Jules could feel something pressing against the scales of his stomach, which had already bulged out slightly from the horse shaft buried almost completely inside him, and gasped as he felt something slithering around inside of Arnold. The horse was clearly in the throes of intense pleasure and all that came out of his mouth were loud groans as he attempted to pull his head out of the mud that was slowly engulfing him with each thrust.

Jules hissed in pleasure as he could already feel something happening inside of him, the tendrils that were pushing their way into the horse's body slithering up into the snake. The mycelia were spreading like wildfire inside of Arnold and in turn pushing through the cock of the equine into the other man. Even though the draconic sabrewolf was only pounding into the horse it felt like he was fucking them both, especially as he started to feel something pushing up his scales and weaving through his insides. As the snake managed to look down though he could see the muscles of the other man twitching as mushrooms pushed their way out of his pectorals, though what caused his eyes to widen even more was as he attempted to pull the equine's head up he saw more fungi sprouting out of his still open maw.

Serathin smirked and as the two continued to sink down into the mud the draconic sabrewolf pushed the head of the snake down so that his lips met with the horse's. He could feel the snake recoil at feeling fungal tendrils immediately spread from Arnold's mouth to his own, spreading rapidly between the two in a twisted make-out session. The infested hybrid continued to push the two and saw smaller hyphae stretching the ears and tear ducts of the snake before he disappeared into the thick substance. These two would make fine spore producers and their mushrooms will spread throughout the land, Serathin thought as he slowly rose his own mushroom covered body up away from the still mating creatures, but as he looked out and saw the others walking to the city he knew that he had more to spread...

...something those cows could certainly help with.
