Awaken
I awoke on a river bank. I did not know who I was, What my duty was, or what my fate was. All I knew was I was on a river bank, I had some cloths, I had a sword in hand, and a name. that name was Malcar, and I did not know where it came from. But I might as wel lget started. I got up and began to walk around. I saw my self in the river's refelction. Young, blue haired (odd), and no scars. I had a torn shirt on, pants, no shoes or boots, and a broadsword in my right hand. I sighed at the lack of knowledge.
"Well I might as well get started. Now how to get out of here..."
I looked around to see I was surrounded by dense forest. I saw an opening in the forest and and a dirt path. I started walking onto the path with the thoughts of finding out who I was and what am I to do. I continued walking through the path with no real disturbances. Only curious animals once in a while. I got to a certain part of the road that was forked. I heard a scream from the left path. I sighed, thinking I should'nt really get invovled. But I felt a real obligation to help, if it is needed. So I sighed again and ran off down the elft path to see a young dragoness surrounded by a group of 4 bandits, all armed with axes. They seemed to harrassing her instead of robbing her. I snuck up closer to listen in.
"Come on girlie.. You know you want to." Taunted the dragon bandit.
"We won't hurt you. Just a peak.." antoher reached for her skirt.
"No!" she yelled and slapped him across the face.
He growled "I'll show you bitch!" He raised his axe to strike her. She screamed and ducked. I jumped out from wearing I was hiding and severed the dragons hand. He screamed as blood pumped from the stump of a hand. The other three gasped at me then charged me. The seconded swung at my head, i parried stabbing him through the skull, he gave a loud gurggling sound and fell to the ground. The third came at me with his axe, then I grabbed thefallen badits axe and through into into his neck. His head fell to the ground with a shocked expressino on it. The fourth and first bandits looked scared, turned around and ran like little girls. I laughed, I somehow found that funny. I looked down onto the dragoness.
"You alright?"
She nodded slowly, slightly scared herself. "Y-y-yeah. Im-m-m Ok."
I lowered one my hands to help her up. "Your welcome. You know where the nearest town is?"
"I was headed to Rambure. The only town closest in the forest."
"Can you show me the way?"
She nodded. "Follow me."
She went backwards toward the road fork and went down the right path.
"My names Janet by the way."
"My names...Malcar."
I looked at her face. She had beautiful blue skin and jet raven black hair. She also was wearing a nice white robe, with a very strange insignia on it. She had blue eyes, and a nice voice too.
"Why did those bandtis bother you?"
"They are part of a Bandit gang that terrorizes the town. You really made a powerful enemy when you let those two escape."
"Well they can't fight that hard. I mean I took down 2 and wounded one easy enough."
She smiled. "You may the hope we need." She the looked onto my face. "Hey, what species are you? You don't look like a furry, or a dragon for that matter."
"I am a human."
She hmmmed in thinking. "I don't know what they are, but maybe the village guru, Patchuna, may help."
"Why?"
"Legend has it he is the odlest dragon around, and he knows more knowledge than there are people in the land."
"Speaking of which, where am I anyway?"
"You are on the dragon islands. You were lost in the Black Claw forest. You really must not know much."
"I guess I don't." I admitted with a shrug.
That's when I saw the gate, it was huge, had a lot of guards, and was had the same insignia on Janet's shirt. As we approached one of the guards saw Janet and yelled
"The Lady Janet has arrived!"
My jaw dropped "Lady janet?"
She smiled "Did I forget to tell you? My dad is king of the island."
We then entered the city.

Far away, an evil creatures that was once flesh and bone felt a disturbance of the life force.
"Servants!"
Several demons approached from the darkness, their skin and clothing matching the darkness surrounding them. Only thier red eyes stood out.
"I have felt the being I have observed awaken, Drakus. I need you to.. find the hero and meet him. Before of course he realizes his full potential."
The demon known as Drakus gave a wicked grin. "Yes master." And vanished into the darkness, the full fill his orders.

At first, the city looked pretty common. Nothign really special notice was taken to me. Until we got nito the kings court room. I was given royal thanks, new cloths, a room, a kiss from Janet, and my sword cleaned for my services to the king. I was sitting in my room with no much on my mind.
"Wow. This new palce, these people. It is all really amazing. but I need to still leanrn my fate. But for now some sleep."
I yawned, layed back, and awaited for tommorrow's events to unfold.
