Leaf sighed as he lay upside down in the grassy meadow as the soft wind blew through the grass and trees. Today was a pretty boring day all things considered, there were no trainers today, and there was no real need for him to go venture out for any food as he already had enough for him and his daughter in their small cave. Chloe was a Flareon who had happened upon Leaf when they were both Eevees. Both alone and lost in the large forest, they stayed together as close friends for the next couple of years. Laying together, the two watched the orange afternoon sun begin to fall below the ridge they lay on, cuddling together lovingly. Leaf smiled and sniffled a bit, maybe his wife didn't truly leave him. After all, a part of her had to live in his daughter, right? Wiping his eyes for the second time this day, Leaf picked up his daughter carefully as to not ruin her sleep and happily began to trot back home.
