Veemon was leaning against the prison wall across from him was Blackveemon.

Veemon asked, "Do you really think I made the right call?"

Blackveemon sat up from the table, "You've been making the calls so far."

Veemon said, "I still don't even know. Tails is manipulative but in the past he's always told the truth. If I do give him Kotemon it could mean the end of this."

Blackveemon came up to him, "If that's what you want to do I'll back you one hundred percent."

Veemon said, "Were running out of time. It might be what we have to do."

Blackveemon got ready to leave, "You tell anyone else yet?"

Veemon said, "No, I don't want to create a panic."

Blackveemon went into the cell. He went to where Vector was.

Blackveemon asked, "Can I ask you a question about the governor?"

Vector sat down and said, "Sure."

Blackveemon asked, "If we had the opportunity to stop this war with giving him Kotemon would that be something he'd hold up."

Vector pressed his gloved hand against his rough skin, "He's very direct. This guy has an army though. If we stay as we are were fucked."

Blackveemon asked, "Would you help me get Kotemon there?"

Vector asked, "Does your brother know you're up to this?"

Blackveemon sighed and the relieved, "No."

Vector stood up, "Well I'll be damned. You'd be willing to go that far."

Blackveemon said, "I'll do anything to protect my brother and my lover."

Vector said, "I'm in. But were going need strong wire because I'm sure he's not just going to go willingly. Anyone else in on this?"

Blackveemon said, "Best we keep this just between us."

Veemon watched on as Gatomon and Angel were out in the field tricking to the walkers one would yell to get there attention and the other would come in from the other side to kill it. Blackveemon joined him.

Veemon said, "We're giving Kotemon away."

Blackveemon asked, "What? You sure?"

Veemon said, "How else am I supposed to keep everyone else alive. We have no idea what we keep be facing soon."

Blackveemon said, "Alright just in case you chose that I went and told Vector to be ready. I'd figure we'd need help with getting Kotemon there."

Veemon started off looking around. Blackveemon left as well going to where Vector and Kotemon would end up.

Vector already had Kotemon set aside. They were coming down the back corridor.

Kotemon asked, "Why did Veemon have us come down here?"

Vector said, "To help secure the back side?"

Kotemon eyes focused on Vectors, "Yeah but why did he pair us up?"

Vector shrugged, "Maybe he wanted us to work out our differences."

Blackveemon came and waited. A walker peered out from the back corner.

Vector smirked, "Well you get the first one I'll follow up."

AnotherWalkercame into view. Kotemon took out his katana. Vector had a long steal pipe along hand. Kotemon came up rushed in and stabbed the first walker. Vector got the second one then said, "Sorry."

Kotemon walked right into a pipe to the head. Vector rushed out as the unconscious Kotemon lay there to get the wire.

Veemon got the cable and picked it up. He looked to the second floor opening and saw a phantom of Yill. He cleared his eyes as the bright son also made it hard to see. After he cleared it said, "I know you're not there. Your not there."

He dropped the cable. Vector came to get some but Blackveemon proceed to drag him finding his own wire. Veemon rushed back to find Vector in the eating area.

Veemon came up, "I know my brother told you about my plan."

Vector said, "Yeah I was just getting some wire."

Veemon almost yelled, "No, were not doing that, were not giving him up."

Vector threw his hands up, "Great let's go tell Blackveemon."

They went back and didn't see anyone. They rushed back out after Gatomon and Angel were done.

Veemon asked, "Did you see Blackveemon?"

Gatomon asked, "Wasn't he with you?"

Veemon muttered out, "Shit."

Veemon said, "Alright I'm heading out. Gatomon I want you to get Kiff back here. I don't care what you have to say or do just do it."

Gatomon said, "That's what I'm best at."

Angel said, "I'll go with her."

Veemon rushed to Bearmon, "Can you look after the child?"

Bearmon said, "I haven't done much beside help you choose this place it's the least I can do."

Veemon just ignored the joke and got in a car.

Blackveemon was already getting there Kotemon was led with wires and long rope to keep him at a distance.

Kotemon almost smirked, "What's this all about?"

Blackveemon focused on the road looking out for walkers, "I'm giving you to the governor what does it look like."

Kotemon asked, "So does that what he want?"

Blackveemon just said, "Yeah."

Kotemon said, "You know he'll keep me alive for some time. But he might just kill you."

Blackveemon asked, "Does it look like I care?"

Kotemon asked, "What about Veemon? More importantly what about Impmon?"

Blackveemon asked, "How do you know me and Impmon even have a thing?"

Kotemon said, "Don't think I'm stupid. I watch carefully. I study the people I'm with. You don't seem like the creature to do this though. You of all creatures who has so much to lose."

Blackveemon voice rose, "If I do this we won't lose anyone else."

Kotemon asked, "Do you think the governor will keep his word?"

Blackveemon asked, "If you're so worried about it why aren't you trying to escape?"

Kotemon smirked, "I'd never leave without my katana."

Blackveemon stopped at a café shop. He looked at the vehicles there and tied Kotemon to the pole. He looked at the first car and it was empty. The second car was smeared with dirt. Blackveemon looked inside and found some beer. Blackveemon started drinking and Kotemon said, "I didn't take you for a drinker."

Blackveemon said, "It's the end of the world, do you expect me to be a saint."

He smashed the window and the car alarm went off.

Blackveemon opened the door, "Shit."

Kotemon carefully looked around as walkers started to come into view attracted to the sound of the horn. Blackveemon was already handling hotwiring the car.

Kotemon yelled out, "Blackveemon!"

Kotemon eyes widened as a walker came from the near side from the café. Kotemon waited and kicked the walker down when it came close enough. He curve stomped the walker into the pavement. Kotemon looked back to see another behind him. He worked the long rope around the walker then pulled while also trying to take off the restraints. Blackveemon looked up just a bit and a walker came at him. He pulled up and lashed out the katana. He rushed over and undid the restraints and rushed Kotemon to the car and started it up. Blackveemon made some distance clearing the view of the walkers.

Blackveemon looked at the restraints and took them off. Kotemon just looked down. Blackveemon suddenly stopped and sighed and open the door.

Kotemon asked, "What's this?"

Blackveemon said, "I'm not that kinda of guy."

Blackveemon handed Kotemon his katana.

Kotemon said, "We could both go back then."

Blackveemon said, "There's something else I had in mind."

He got out and took out a machine gun from the back and got back in.

Kotemon just looked at the gun and asked, "Are you sure?"

Blackveemon said, "Veemon's probably coming to get me. If you see him tell him everyone else needs him more."

Blackveemon continued driving up. Kotemon just started walking back making sure not get too close to the walkers when he would come back.

Gatomon and Angel arrived at the city. They avoided the traps that they had been warned about and got inside clean they saw Kiff and Stitch when they came in.

Angel stance froze up and she muttered, "Gabuchibu?"

A tear escaped her eye as she had no idea he was here too. Stitch too seemed at a loss of words as Veemon's was telling the truth.

Kiff asked, "What are you doing here?"

Gatomon eyes stared down Kiff with a vicious and intense stare, "You're coming back, the both of you."

Kiff started, "Yeah what if..."

Gatomon pulled up a handgun and said, "I have no time for your shit. You're coming and now."

Kiff backed down and Stitch just went with Kiff as they got back to the car.

Veemon stopped the car as he saw Kotemon come into view he stopped.

Kotemon got in and Veemon asked, "Where is Blackveemon?"

Kotemon lied with a straight face, "He went to go find some beer. He can handle himself we should get back to the others."

Veemon went back so a little unsure. Gatomon and Angel came back first with Kiff and Stitch. Veemon was back and had everyone gather around except Impmon who was still inside healing up.

Veemon looked to his group, "Look I know I've been tough on you guys and I went a little off the deep end. But after some time I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't be here without all of you. We have formed a group...a family. And some time ago I told you that I was the one leader. It can't be like that any more. From now on we all decide our fate. Will vote on what we want. I won't be like the governor."

The group broke off and Veemon awaited the return of Blackveemon and Kotemon joined him.

Veemon said, "He should have been back by now."

Kotemon said, "I tried to stop him...He was determined to keep going."

Veemon asked frantically crying, "What you lied to me?"

Kotemon looked down, "You're brother knew the governor wouldn't stop. And I knew that this whole thing to bring me to him was your idea in the first place. You should have come to me. I would have told you that you shouldn't trust him."

Blackveemon was drinking and started backing up back to where the walkers were and beeped the horn several times. The hoard pounding against his car got bigger and he drove just a bit and kept the walkers following him. Veemon got into the one car they had and drove off going as fast as he could. Blackveemon drove to the mill where the meeting had taken place. He drove the car off and dove out the car and rushed into the mill. The walkers kept following the slowed car. Some of the men heard the horn and started packing up and going. Espio geared up and so did Commandramon and Dorumon. They got in the cars with several other men and they came up to the mill and started taking out the walkers. Blackveemon peered his gun out a window and started gunning down the men. Blackveemon had a complete vantage point. He got of view of Tails who came up but then some other guy walked right into the shot he made hitting the man. Tails knew firing was coming from somewhere else. Some of the men started to get bitten. Commandramon drew further back making sure to maintain cover. Tails came in from the other side of the mill. Blackveemon got a good number of men and the walkers doubled the count. Tails bashed him down and Blackveemon charged into him. Tails was able to repel Blackveemon and push him against a two vents. He took out a gun and fired.

The men that remained retreated and Tails gathered the remaining men and went back.

Veemon rushed the car in. He took out his handgun. He saw a walker too busy eating a man. Another walker looked up and he pistol whipped it to not attract attention. Then he stopped as a black figure in front of him was eating upon a corpse. He shook his head, "No...no..."

The head of the walker he knew looked up with guts and his mouth. His own brother across from him tearing into the flesh as walker stood up a started to stumble over the body. His brother slowly stumbled toward him growling. Veemon just cried as he looked into the soulless white eyes. He couldn't understand why a third family member of his had to go. He couldn't figure out why he made this choice. His brother came close. Veemon was able to shove him back. Veemon was too torn. He had a knife in the other hand holding it close with the handgun and he shoved again as his brother walker came at him again.

Veemon cried, "Not you...I just got you back..."

This amount of reason meant nothing to a walker but Veemon couldn't help it. When his brother came a third time he finally pushed him down fully and pulled up his knife and stabbed his brother relentlessly into the ground. Veemon tears soaked his dead brothers body after he was done he rolled to the side and cried away.

With the hope seemingly fading Guilmon found himself on the outer gates. He saw a walker on the other side of the fence with a ring. He cut it off and took the ring off at a safe distance. He would approachLena.

Guilmon came up to her and said, "I know what things don't look good...so just in case."

He grasped her hand gently and placed the ring in her palms. She drew back slowly and opened her palms looking at the ring and simply said, "Yes."

Guilmon wrapped his arms around her and they kissed.

Angel was sitting on the table. On the lower bench was Stitch. Kiff watched them from a distance. Angel moved her hand grasping Stitch who still hadn't even spoken a word since his return. Gatomon came behind Kiff.

Gatomon slanted against the wall, "You ok about that?"

Kiff shrugged, "I don't know what you're talking about."

Gatomon slanted her eyes toward him again, "Is that you talking or is that Reemon?"

Kiff body stiffened up and his eyes were wide.

Gatomon sneered, "I don't know what you hope to accomplish in there but it won't work."

Kiff asked, "Aren't you more concerned about why I'm not after you?"

Gatomon almost laughed, "You would have been on me already if that was the case. I know you're up to trouble as always. Don't worry I won't kill you yet but if you even think about doing something I won't hesitate."

Veemon returned and the group looked on as he came out alone in the car. He just got out and fell down and went on crying. The whole group just stood there. Bearmon came out with the baby and Impmon came out limping. Impmon looked around and was very confused.

Impmon asked, "Where's Blackveemon?"

Veemon head came up from the pavement then he staggered up and his muttered out loudly still with tears coming down, "I had to do it. I killed him."

Impmon just fell down and shook his head, "No!"

Veemon said, "I was too late. When I came he was already a walker."

Kotemon tightened his grip around his katana. Vector felt the most shame as he knew if he wasn't warned that most likely would have been his fate.

Veemon said, "No matter what...the governor is going to die."
