Amy sits in her hotel room with her pokemon and guests, her mind is still reeling from the days events. It didn't seem real to her, but here it was, it happened, her mind flashes back to that morning. The poke ball Brock threw bursts open and Golem roars as it appears and stomps on the ground. The sound it makes tells Amy what it is, where it is, and even to an extent how tall and wide it is. Amy reaches onto her belt and takes off a poke ball that has brail on it and tosses it releasing her squirtle which she has named, Sophie. "Ok Sophie! It's game time!" Brock smiles and pockets the empty poke ball. "Good choice, but don't think that type advantage is all you need to win." Amy points with her mobility cane. "Sophie use water gun!" Sophie stands there looking confused, she doesn't know the attack yet, Lucario seeing this tells Amy. "oh no, use bubble!" Sophie takes a big breath and blasts the golem with a flurry of bubbles each the size of a poke ball, they explode violently with a burst of air and water causing the golem to stagger back and roar in slight pain but mostly irritation. The big monster charges Sophie who looks panicked and dodges out of the way as the golem slams into a boulder that was behind sophie and shatters it. Dust and small bits of rock pelt Amy as she raises her arms to protect herself from the debris. Lucario's experienced eyes watch as the battle increases in intensity, Amy is trying desperately to formulate a strategy in her head while she just tells Sophie to use bubble, Amy never took the time to learn what her pokemons attacks were now she has to play the guessing game, if things get too out of hand Lucario will step in and finish this battle himself. "Sophie use tackle...NOW!" Golem rolls towards Sophie who jumps out of the way and at Amy's command uses tackle sending Golem off course and out of the designated battlefield, while its not a KO it is a ring out and a victory to Amy. Brock recalls Golem smirking. "Not bad kid, nobody ever said a victory had to a pretty one, but fun and games is over, its time for you to go home!" he tosses another poke ball, "GO! onix!!!" the a massive snake like pokemon made of boulders, it looms over poor Sophie like a living landslide, it takes a deep breath then lets out a massive roar making Sophie gulp and Amy jump. "Now onix use dig!" the giant rock snake goes underground, Amy however smiles and kneels down and puts her hand on the floor. "What are you doing kid?" Suddenly Amy's eyes widen, "Sophie jump straight up now!!!" Sophie does so without a seconds hesitation and just as she does onix bursts from underground right where sophie was standing. "Now use bubble!" Sophie takes a deep breath but when she blows bubbles don't come out, but rather a stream of water that strikes onix making him roar in agony. Lucario is watching in awe, Amy has gone from shaking novice to confident trainer in seconds, but he isn't letting his guard down, all it takes is one slip up and Amy could be a nervous wreck again. Amy points with her cane, "Hit him again!" Sophie takes another breath to blast onix. "Enough of this! Tail whip now!" Like a gaint cracking whip onix snaps it tail and smacks Sophie who flies out of battlefield...smack into Amy knocking them both over. Lucario's eyes widen with fury. "Amy this one is mine." Lucario steps onto the battlefield walking toward onix. "Nobody does that to my Amy, come little urchin, show me your power." Onix roars and charges at Lucario ignoring his trainers commands, Lucario takes a quick stance and brings up an arm for a simple block and stops onix dead in its tracks. "Impossible he weighs almost 900 pounds!" Lucario does a jump turn back kick his paw connecting with onix's jaw and sending him sprawling into a boulder, "Onix! Get up! USE BULLDOZE NOW!!!" The massive rock snake gets up and charges towards Lucario who takes another stance gathering blue aura in his paws. As onix gets closer Lucario lets the aura sphere fly and it slams into onix knocking down and he doesn't get back up. "Incredible...that's some Rio you have there Ms. Kibosaru." Brock walks up to Amy reaching into his pocket. "I was wrong about you kid, you got a lot of heart and you and your pokemon are gonna go far, just learn more about your team before going into a battle". "Alright, I will do better, it was a real honor to battle you Brock" Amy holds out her hand. "the honor is all mine and here is something to prove your skill." He shakes her hand and when he takes his hand away leaves the boulder badge in her grasp. "You got a long road ahead of you but if you keep at it you will go all the way I am sure of it." As Amy and Lucario leave the Zoroark Shinken and her companion stand up from their seats, the "other" nods his approval, "Her heart is pure, so pure, she reminds me of what I lost before I was even free, before I was truly born, she can give me what I seek, family, purpose." Mewtwo stands up, "I only hope I do not frighten her." "Then I will take my leave the kid has enough pokemon as it is and I personally don't like the whole poke ball scene." Shinken stands up shaking out her long mane, "but if you need me I will be around." They leave the gym before shaking paws and going their separate ways. Mewtwo floats along in public using his powers to allow humans to look past him, not even noticing the presence of the super clone. Amy is leaving the pokemon center after a quick stop to heal her pokemon Mewtwo can hear her talking about a big dinner to celebrate their first badge. Mewtwo takes a big breath, its now or never...
