Life
A little poem about life. It's pretty gay :U
I came across this poem I wrote a couple of years back. Though I'd share it~ So here goes!
Life~ Life can be a bitch. Can leave you wounded, in a ditch. Can be a place of grief and sorrow, leave you wanting no "tomorrow". Life can be a scary place, and very very hard to face. Countless concepts to embrace, and endless things to want and chase! Bitterness, hatred, sadness and tears.. Horrid occasions and terrible fears..
So why do we do it? Why do we fight? Why do we long for the day after night?
Because joy. Because lust. 'Cus affection, and trust. Because tenderness beats hatred, and happiness beats tears. 'Cus endless seas of fruitful love extinguish all the fears! Because suns will set, and suns will rise. Because of sparkling, beautiful eyes. Because of music, beating aloud. Because of mist, and its magical shroud. Because of laughter, and frolic and play! Because of the plant-life, blooming in May! Because of creation, in all that we see. Because of the things that we're longing to be. Because inspiration will lead us to Zen, and because we'll succeed if we just try again~
There are infinite reasons why it's worth the strive - why I thank my creator that I am alive.
But... really, though, I think it's this - the greatest gift of all. The reason that we don't give up, and rise from every fall. It's.. you - my friends - my nears and dears, I'll love you 'til I die. THIS is the reason for my strive. This is my reason why!
