New Beginnings and Dead Ends Part 17 : "READY"
When I woke up a few hours later I stretched releaseing Haku for a moment which made him wiggle into me before I could escape. Itachi was gone.Probobaly on the Job.I shook haku awake before heading into the hallway. As I walked out of the door I saw Itachi talking to someone. I got curious and looked to see who it was. It was the bartender crying and screaming at the bad news he recieved from the doctor who told him it was a machinery failure trying to console the equine. My stomach began to knot at what realy happened and what I did. When he finaly departed I snuck up on Itachi grabbinghis waist. His reflexes kicked in and made him perform a uppercut with his right arm. I barely dodged it with a scathed nose. "Whoa calm down its just me." I said as as he jumped swinging his body and a kick 360 degrees aimed for my neck. I grabbed his foot paw and threw him back into a backflip as he said "Sorry, damn training made me more instinct then brains." Itachi said apologetically.
I accepted his aspology with a quick lick to his nose. I looked at the clock to realize it was 10:49 a.m. "Me and the cub need to do some training want tot tag along?" I said to hear the Weasel giggle and replied "You want a rusty old Weasel like me helping you out?" I answered quickly you seemed pretty experienced last night. If you fight like you yiff there wont be an issue. He grabbed a note pad off his desk before pulling the note of as we all walked out the door he ran behind us before slapping the note on the wall. It read : The doctor is out please wait till I get back - Doctor Weasel. When we got to traing room 34 there was a side panel which I turned on.
1- fight against unarmed opponents
2 - fight armed opponents
3 - fight another fur
4 - free-fur-all
I chose option 2. and set it on 20 enemys at 30% and walked in the others right behind me. when we got in there was two doors in a well lit room. the left door read BEGIN on the top of it while the right one said READY. I walked to the one on the right turning the nob which buzzed before pulling out automatically 10 feet of nothing but doorwhich held touch pads that read: Arm Yourselves Wisely before turning into a screen that read : Insert Cards At Same Time To Register. I pushed my card in before the other two while the screen read: Pending........ Pending......... Three Members Fighting Twenty Droids At Thirty Percent... Confirm. Ipressed the button holding it till the others pressed theirs. At that oment the screen flashed revealing a huge list of weapon materials. I obviously chose Carbon Fiber for its light wieght and durability, Itachi picked Steel out of just picking through metalic substances, and Haku picked Gold cause it was shiney. It then showed a list of weapons in categories A-Z and on the side it said "Testing" weapons. I clicked on it getting just my gloves and a few chains before scrolling through B. "Hey Itachi, grab the breaker sword<uploaded onto my pics if you need a model> would you?" I asked to keep our weapons as similar as mine and Kodies to keep from confusing the cub by training him wrong. He nodded selecting it and another weapon I could'nt get a good eye on as Haku picked a Long-Bladded Katana with a coil-locking system on it. I did'nt question it as I looked back at my screen finding a pair of Ulaks <Link to pic at bottom> which I chose before looking through T's. Where I found a pair of Twisted Daggers <Uploaded into my pics>
When we finished we hit the "Finished" button before hearing more thumping and buzzing before the door/wall protruded our things into three seperate glass areas in whick our weapons were dropped. "This is a message from the people who own you. *cough* if these weapons are not returned after testing we will charge youfor the weapon and you can keep it afterwards." The speaker on our screens said before signing off We then walked to the door that said BEGIN and turned the knob which opened like a normal door but led to a dark room like the testing room only light in there is blacklights.
