College Encounters *Chapter 1*
My first ever chapter story. I don't know how I'll be able to do this, but I believe I can manage.
Anyways, this story is based on a girl named Kendra, and her many encounters at her new private college.
How will this story unfold? Heck if I know.
I shall be posting these once every two weeks or so, or at least try to.
College Encounters

Kendra entered the school's main building. Her first day at Bridgewater College. She held her books close to her chest with one hand, adjusting her glasses with the other. Everyone was talking with their friends or walking past her towards the cafeteria for breakfast. Some even purposely bunped into her, which made her come close to dropping her books. "Watch where you're going, you bitch!" A girl called, knocking her books out of her hands, a snorty laugh coming from her as she left. Kendra crawled around the front foyers floor, hastily picking up her books. Not noticing some other girl was giving her a hand, she stood up, counting the books, realizing she was missing one.
"This yours?" A voice came from behind her. Kendra turned around swiftly to see a girl slightly taller than her, with jet black hair and purple hair tips. She wore glasses like her own, and boasted a dark shimmering dress.
"Y-Yes, thank you." Kendra stuttered, afraid to speak to anyone on her first day.
"My name's Eliza, Your's?" She held out her hand, her pale skin having a faint glow with the sunlight.
"K-Kendra.. Nice to meet you..." Kendra answered, reluctantly taking Eliza's hand and shaking it.
"Kendra huh? That's a very pretty name. Is it your first day here? I've never seen you around here before." Eliza said, letting go of her hand and moving her hair from her eyes.
Kendra adjusted her glasses before answering. "Yes, it's my first day here. I dont know where everything is, can you help me find my way around?" Kendra asked, looking everywhere except into Eliza's crystal blue eyes.
"Of course, It would be my honor to help you, Kendra." She answered happily, taking her hand and giving her a tour of the school.
Eliza looked at her watch, realizing she was about to be late for class. "Oh geez! I'm gonna be late for class! I can't take you on a tour, sorry! But I can tell you where your first class is." Eliza said, looking at the cover or Kendra's binder, which held the schedule she had.
"Your first class is down the main hall and then you take your third hall to the right, its the last door there. I would walk you there... But my class is the opposite direction. I'll see you later!" Eliza called, rushing off to get to class.
"Why do I always have to do everything myself?" Kendra asked herself, searching hopelessly for the room, to no avail.
She finally found it a rough twenty minutes later, a male teacher opened the door and looked at her curiously. "You must be new. The name's Winters. That's Proffessor Winters for you. Why are you late?" Winters said, eyeing the shy new girl curiously.
"I-I-I got lost.. I'm sorry.. Its my first day here.." Kendra whispered, her words barely audible for the proffessor to hear.
"Well, since you are new here, I'll let you off with a warning, miss, Kendra. Now, get inside, you've to meet the class." Winters said, rushing her along inside. Once inside, Kendra was sent to the front of the classroom, where everyone could see her. Not looking up from her shoes she whispered something inaudible, most of the class laughing at her outfit.
"Pffts look at her oufit! Shes poor!"
"Yeah, how did she get into this private school anyway?"
"She must've blown the principal really well if she was let in."
The voices wouldn't stop, all causing little Kendra more and more pain. "As if I'm not troubled enough.." She murmured, tears beginning to form in her eyes.
"Now now class, be quiet, or I'll make sure that every sngle one of you fails my class." Thee proffessor threatened, the laughter seizing immediately.
"Now, Kendra, please take a seat, the class needs to continue. I assume you're familiar with Calculus?" The proffessor asked, to whom which Kendra nodded, wiping her tears and heading for an empty seat near the door. "Well, you will have no problem with my class then. It is fairly easy if you understand that." Winters said, turning towards the chalkboard and writing complicated equations on it.
"Mr. Winters? What is it you're writing on the board? It's nothing I've ever seen before..." A girl from the back called out, her hand slowly coming down from being raised up.
"Just a clever little equation." Winters answered, moving aside, the equation finished. It was an intriguing equation, one only Kendra herself had seen before online. "I bet all of you don't have a single clue what this is, do you? Raise your hand if you know or have ever heard of this equation." Winters said, Kendra's lone hand in the air. "Interesting. So only Miss Kendra knows of this equation? Well, show me how you get the answer for this Kendra, come up and answer the equaion." He said, beckoning for Kendra to come. Kendra did as told, and walked over to the board.
"Trick question, Mr. Winters. This equation is insolvable. You simply erase the top half of the equation and you get a message that say's 'I love You'. I saw it online once." Kendra said, adjusting her glasses confidently. The class all burst out laughing, all except two people. Kendra frowned, rushing back to her desk. Only the two people who were not laughing at her noticed that Winters had erased the top half of the equation and began adding names at the end.
'I love you Lyra
-James'
The board read, the two people focused on it blushed, Lyra and James. "Thank you Kendra for correctly answering this. As for you two, you are dismissed for the day, you're both part of my highest ranking students, but you'll have a lot of work in store for you tomorrow." Mr. Winters said, James and Lyra rushing out of the door, their hands interlocked.
"Wish I could get a boy like him... No fair.. No one likes me.." Kendra sighed, getting her pencil and paper ready for note taking.
The class continued for its usual hour long period, ending an hour afterwards. Professor Winters dismissed the students, everyone rushing out for their mid-day fun. Kendra though, stayed behind, mainly because the Proffessor held her after class. "Kendra, did you enjoy the class?" Winters said, walking over to her as she got up from her seat.
"Oh it was great! I learned so much more than I did back at my old college..." Kendra trailed off, her thoughts going back to her close friends whom were enjoying college back with eachother... Without her..
"Well thats a first, no one ever enjoys my class, too 'boring' for them." Winters said, intently looking at her. "Kendra, good luck here, you'll need it. Most of the students here can be quite harsh to 'outsiders'. Just a little bit of advice though, try to stay alone. You'll be safer that way." The professer said, smiling warmly. Kendra shook his hand, nodding and smiling happily.
"Thank you proffessor. I'll see you tomorrow!" She said, rushing off to get acommodated at her dorm.
Kendra rushed around the college grounds, her skirt flying up from time to time thanks to the wind. "Good thing I'm wearing leggings.. I'm no slut." Kendra murmured to herself, placing a hand at her skirt, trying to keep it down. "Where are the dorms?!" She said, flustered.
A voice called out from behind, a familiar one. "Kendra! Wait up!" It was Eliza. Kendra could not help but stare at her bouncing breasts as she ran towards her.
'Kendra! Thats rude! Bad! Bad kendra!' She mentally scolded herself. Eliza caught up to her, out of breath.
"Hey Eliza, can you show me where the dorms are?" Kendra asked, a soft blush appearing on her face as she asked the question.
"Oh... Yeah... Sure.. Just let me... Catch my... Breath..." Eliza huffed, her racing heart beginning to slow after running nearly one hundred yards behind her. "God... How long.. Can you run without losing your breath?" Eliza murmured, straightening up, her steady breathing back.
"Oh, I have a lot of stamina, even though I don't look like I do." Kendra answered, her glasses catching the strong rays of sunlight and reflecting it into Eliza's eyes. She shielded her eyes with her forearm, a naughty thought entering her head.
"Well, I'd be glad to show you the dorms. Let's go!" Eliza said excitedly, taking Kendra's hand and rushing off.
"Slow down! You're going to tear my arm off Eliza!" Kendra yelled, shallow pains running through her arm as they ran.
They arrived at the dorms building, nla large building made exactly for the rich students that attended the school.
"Wow.. This place is huge!" Kendra murmured, her eyes widening at the large building.
"Yeah I know, I'm still figuring my way around inside this thing. It's flippin huge!" Eliza said, walking towards the doors, Kendra following on suit.
They entered the building, a very elegant one to say the most. "This building, is amazing.. How long do you think it took to build this?" Kendra asked, amazed at the sheer size of the main lobby, many students roaming around.
"Dunno, maybe around a year or so. Anyway, what's your dorm wing and number?" Eliza asked, waving a quick hello to a friend off in the distance.
"Uhm... F-wing.. dorm four.." Kendra said, reading the note on her binder.
"No way! You're my new roommate! I've been waiting for a nee roommate, my last roommate dropped out a few months ago. I was beginning to miss having someone to go out around with." Eliza said, jumping up happily as Kendra smiled, giving her a happy look.
"That's great! This is going to be so much fun!" Kendra spoke loudly, letting Eliza take her hand and all but drag her to their dorm.
"So. What do you think? Not too bad for being on my own, am I right?" Eliza boasted, a soft chuckle coming from her.
"Definately! You have everything in here!" Kendra wandered around the dorm room, the surprisingly large room had a plasma TV, a gaming station, a brand new computer, and even a large fridge.
"Eliza, you are so lucky to be rich.. My parents could barely afford paying taxes and bills when I was younger.." Kendra murmured, a feeling of nostalgia entering her.
"Wait, you're not rich? That explains your outfit then, I thought you just liked cheap clothing. But how did you get into this private college then?" Eliza sat on the bottom bunk of the bunk beds pushed to a corner of the room.
"Its a long story that I don't want to be telling yet.." Kendra said, turning around with a warm smile on her face.
"Eliza, can I ask you something?" Eliza looked up, her gaze having fallen to the floor.
"Uh, yeah sure, anything." She answered, tilting her head to one side.
"Where are my bags? Someone offered to bring them up for me when I arrived at the college entrance.." Kendra said sadly, most of her most precious items having had been in her suitcases.
"Oh, they should be arriving right about... Now." Eliza said, pausing for a few seconds to look at her watch. A knock was heard at the door, Kendra rushing to it and opening it. A man and a woman, both in uniforms stood at the doorway, Kendra squealing in delight.
"Where shall we set these?" The man asked, Kendra quickly moving out of the way so they could step in. They placed the bags on the floor a small distance from the door, out of harms way.
"Welcome to the acadamy, Miss Kendra. If you ever need anything, please ring the buzzer." The two workers said in unison, the male bowing and the female curtsying afterwards. Kendra nodded towards them with a warm smile, she closed the door and rushed to open her bags.
All of her belongings were still in each bag, a sigh of relief coming from Kendra's mouth. "Everything's still here... Kayba!" She whispered happily, pullin out the plush wolf that she had since her childhood, given to her by her father. She hugged the plush wolf tightly, a tear of happiness falling down her cheek.
Eliza walked over to Kendra and looked over her shoulder, the small plush wolf in her sight. "That wolf is adorable!" Eliza said, nearly prying the wolf out Kendra's hands.
"Thanks, my dad gave it to me.. He passed away last year... Cardiac Arrest took him... This is all I have left of him.." Kendra whispered between sobs, her past memories with her father coming back, a deep sadness hitting her.
"Oh, don't cry Kendra... He's in a better place, he will watch over you an protect you like the great father that he was. Don't cry.." Eliza attempted to comfort her, she rubbed Kendra's shoulder softly and pet her head.
"Thanks Eliza. We may have only met today, but I know we'll be the best of friends." Kendra murmured, setting the plush wolf down and giving Eliza a hug, to which she returned happily.
"Best of friends..." Eliza repeated, her hug on Kendra tightening.
