The year is 3700. The planet name is Teteran. After a 2500 year species war the wolves finally took control of one entire hemisphere of this planet. The wolves whose population is now at 3 billion have taken control of one side of the world and look to conquer the other side. The other side is more complicated for them even though their military technology is way above the other furs they don't have the ability to match the magic use on the other side of the world. The wolves now have a society in which they dominate and any other fur is either a slave or a servant. There are a few non-wolves who are free but they are treated so horribly when free that most return to a life of serving the wolves.
Magic has been the cause of many wars as species on the western hemisphere constantly fight each other for resources, land and wealth. The entire side of the world was in chaos as war spread throughout the region and few species could escape its grasp. Even now after thousands of years of conflict there are still lots of battles occurring throughout the region.
But in this war torn world one special boy was born three years ago. And now his family is about to be engulfed in war.
"Luhull come here!" Called a female snow tiger. She was quite slender and wore the custom outfit of her village; White silk garments around her waist and chest.
"Coming mother!" Said a young snow tiger. He was saying goodbye to some other young snow tigers like him. He was a young boy age of eight wearing the custom male garments; a blue loincloth with a white headband.
Luhull quickly ran over and took his mother's paw as she walked him back to their hut.
"Mom? Why can't Vincent and Jacob play with us?" Luhull innocently asking his mother.
His mother squeezed his paw firmly and then smiled at him. "You know how the elders feel about them. They are not allowed outside our little hut. I am hoping that their father got my message. With the changing of the chief I suspect he might have those two banished from the village. I hope it does not come to that." Luhull's mother petted him on the head and then continued on their back to their hut.
Once they got there they met some very unsavory faces there to greet them. "Father! What are you doing here?" Luhull's mother asked one of the tigers gathered in front of her house.
"Lallah, I have come to talk to you." Her father said to her. He was accompanied by the village elders. Five other snow tigers.
"With the elders? This cannot be good but come on in" Lallah lead them into the house where she greet her two youngest boys.
They were both a bit strange. Jacob was a five year old snow tiger and wolf hybrid. He had wolf like features except for his tail which was a feline tail. He had all purple fur taking after his father. Vincent was also wolf like in everything except his fur. He had his mother's snow tiger fur pattern. He had white fur and blue stripes. He was only three years old but he was quite special. It happened a few times before but Vincent would get gold stripes sometimes accompanied by a huge spike in his magical ability. And being so young and powerful many in the village feared him.
Lallah watched as her two young sons ran over to greet her Vincent quickly motioning for her to pick him up. She obliged and placed into her arms.
Her father grunted. "You threat that kid well for some piece of thrash wolf."
"They are my boys' father. And they are your grandkids no matter how you feel about them." Lallah retorted to her father's snide comment.
"I have one grandson. But to the point of the visit Luluin is coming for a visit. He should arrive by nightfall. We are going to discuss the matter of you fulfilling your duty to our small little village." The elders of the village all nodded.
"I already told you. I refuse to marry him, I detest that man. He is a despicable tiger and I am sorry for every minute I spent with him. At least I got a beautiful little boy out of it." Lallah smiled and looked at Luhull who had become quite annoyed at his mother's attention in front of so many people.
"Stop insulting a future king in front of his son. You ran away with the future prince of the most powerful snow tiger settlement. They are even rounding up the other settlements and combing them to give us more of a fighting chance. You know better than anyone what that would mean! You were taken hostage by those damn hyenas. You should know how threatening those war mongers are. We need more power to deal with them and what better way than to combine all our settlements?" Her father sounded so confident but Lallah was hearing the voice of a coward.
"You run from our struggles father. You run from the lands we have lived for generations just to feel safe? Do you know how unsafe the world is right now? Running from these battles will do us no good. We can defend this land it is our sacred duty until..." Lallah was interrupted by a very angry chief.
"You still cling to those old myths? You are just like my delusional father. There is nothing special about this land. Those myths are just that, myths. And you my dear are going to finally marry Luluin and those two young ones will be executed." Her father stressed the word executed to make a point. Lallah went to respond but Luhull responded first.
The chief and the elders were hit with a blast of water as Luhull blasted them out of rage. "You are not touching my brothers!" Luhull gathered more water around him and prepared for another attack. "You are not hurting them no matter what!" Luhull used a burst of water to wash the chief and the elders out of their hut. "You will never hurt them!"
The villagers around were startled by the sight and gathered to watch as the chief and the elders recovered from the sudden assault by Luhull.
"You misguided brat. You defend those things? They are not your brothers; they are mistakes that need to be erased. My father may have allowed it and allowed that blasted wolf to stay here for four years but I refuse to let such a thing happen again. Lallah I will execute those boys tomorrow on the dot say good bye to those wretched things." The chief stormed off in a fit of rage.
Luhull was about to prepare another attack but a young Jacob grabbed his paw and shook his head. Luhull looked at his brother's worried face and calmed down.
Lallah looked over at her young boys and worried what would happen to them until a small purple bird flew and landed on her shoulder.
"Luhull gather your things. Tonight we leave."
It was later that night that Lallah and her boys were sneaking out of the village. She was going to run away with her lover. The wolf who fathered her two boys. But at the village as they waited for the visiting dignitaries something happened.
An explosion rocked the village and sent the snow tigers in chaos as a group of hyenas started to attack the poor village. The chief saw the kind of weapons they were using enchanted weapons which were hyena's specialty. But these were enchanted wolf and fox weapons, weapons of the two most advanced species. The chief watched as the hyenas launched rockets into houses burning family alive in them. He watched as his villagers were gunned down as they fled. And then he watched as the hyenas targeted him.
"Lallah" he whispered as a rocket hit his house and exploded and burst out into flames. Slowly but surely the village was destroyed by these hyenas.
Lallah was not fully aware of the situation but once she spotted the fire she knew what was going on. "Boys hurry we have to move." She said as grabbed Vincent and carried him. Luhull grabbed Jacob's arm and started to run.
They ran for a few minutes until Luhull suddenly stopped and turned around. He gathered his magic and formed a wall of water that intercepted five missiles and prevented them from exploding.
"Thanks for the heads up Jacob. Mom ten hyenas behind us. We have to deal with them!" Luhull said as he gathered some water and prepared to use it as a shield.
Lallah gathered her magic as well and made the ground shake as she prepared an attack. "Jacob tell me where they are." She said to her young son.
Jacob started to point in the directions of the hyenas as his mother sent walls of earth to attack them. One by one they were forced out of their hiding spots and a few were incapacitated by the attacks. About six of them jumped out and started shooting off their rifles at the tiger family.
Lallah raised a wall of earth to protect them and block the onslaught of bullets. Lallah then saw Jacob still pointing at the hyenas. She knew exactly where to aim her attacks now. She sent spikes of rock this time shooting up out of the ground and shredding the hyenas that were attacking. She was about to lower her shield when it exploded and she was caught in the explosion.
"Mom!" Luhull screamed out as he watched his mother get thrown back by the explosion.
Luhull ran over to her and started to use some healing magic but he was not very well trained in it and was having little effect on such severe wounds.
"Mom!" Luhull started to cry as he tried to heal his mother's severe wounds.
"Luhull your brothers! Protect your brothers!" Lallah said weakly as she noticed the hyena that shot the rocket at her was slowly approaching it appeared he was one that was hit earlier by Lallah's attacks.
"You're dead kid!" The hyena aimed a rifle this time and was about to shoot but a glowing gold light stopped him. Vincent had started to cry and he once again had golden stripes. A burst of magic was released that destroyed the hyena's weapons and neutralized his magic.
"What the hell!" The hyena took a few steps back stunned by the sudden loss of his magic. He shook in fear until he realized he was only facing a few kids. He took out a knife and charged at Vincent. "DIE!" The hyena yelled.
A gunshot rung out as the hyena fell to the ground.
"Bull's-eye. Told ya I am the best sniper around Jacob!" A wolf said to another as they approached in four jeeps.
"Lallah!" One of the wolves cried out.
"Dr. Jacob?!" Luh asked the wolf who jumped out of the jeep and ran over to the cubs. He was a purple wolf in his early thirties he was the father of Vincent and Jacob.
"Lallah!?" Jacob cried out he was on the verge of tears as he grabbed the paw of his lover.
"Jacob? Is that you?" Lallah said in a weaker voice than before her injuries were clearly taking a toll on her even though Luhull kept trying to heal her injuries.
"It's me what happened to you?"
"The village was destroyed; I was on my way to meet you when those hyenas jumped us. They really did a number on me. It was my fault I let my guard down." Lallah responded
"Dang I was too late." Jacob took her paw and rubbed in against his cheek.
"Jacob you have to take the cubs please. They are all that I have left."
Jacob nodded. "I know they are also quite important to me as well. I should have never left."
Lallah weakly stroked Jacob's cheek. "Not your fault but I have favor please could you take Luhull with you. He needs to stay with brothers; they have something important they must do."
"I was already planning too. I think of him as mine as much as the others."
"I am sorry I cannot come with you *Cough* *cough*" Lallah started to cough up blood as she struggled to speak. "I know I complicated your life but please take care of my cubs please? Please?" Lallah said as she struggled to keep her eyes open.
"I told you before they are my cubs too all of them even Luh." Jacob sr. smiled at her as she smiled back.
"I am glad I met you Jacob..." And with that the poor feline passed away.
"LALLAH!?"Jacob screamed as he cried. "Mom!" Luhull cried out as well, he was soon joined by his two brothers. The three brothers began to cry their hearts out at their mother's death. And so they stayed for as long as they could.
"Sir we have to go hostiles are coming" One of the soldiers told Jacob.
"Alright" senior started wiping away his tears and grabbed the two youngest boys as one of the soldiers grabbed Luhull. "Let's move I already made our transportation arrangements."
The boys and Jacob were ushered into one of the jeeps and were escorted off the area but they did not notice the figure approaching the body of Lallah. "Well what do we have here?" the figure said as he started to a cast spell.
Soon after they arrived at an airstrip where a private jet awaited them. Jacob dragged Luh and the young hybrids to the Jet.
"Get onboard" Jacob yelled clearly emotional right now. The soldiers helped to escort the boys and Jacob to the plane and saw them off.
A butler was helping the kids get buckled in for takeoff. Jacob told the butler to get a meal prepared for the cubs and bring them some drinks. After a while the butler returned with drinks after the plane had taken off. Vincent and Jacob where cuddling up with their big brother both fearful of the wolf in front of them.
"Sir there may be a problem with the papers for master Luhull" One of the butlers on the plane said as he brought over a laptop showing some information regarding adoption and marriage papers.
"What is the problem? Other than the no longer valid marriage papers?" Jacob asked his butler.
"His status is classified as a slave sir" the butler said bluntly.
"What?! I clearly applied for adoption papers" Jacob grabbed the laptop and looked at the papers. Someone had challenged his adoption of Luhull and got it changed to slave acquisition papers.
"Someone seemed to have changed the application sir" The butler pointed out the obvious to which Jacob rolled his eyes.
"I know who. It was my Father. I shall deal with it but give the agency a call and tell them about the mix up they should be more than happy to fix it. Just make sure that you mention my status." Jacob said and passed the laptop back to the butler
"I will get on that sir" The butler bowed and left.
"Good you may leave us now" Jacob said to the other attendants who all bowed and left quietly leaving him there with his sons.
Vincent and Jacob were starting to cry again but Luhull comforted them. He had Jacob on one side and Vincent on the other. Senior was looking at them with sympathy.
"Do you remember who I am Luhull?" He asked the young tiger.
"Yes Mr. Jacob, I remember you it has been a few years right?" Luhull whispered.
Jacob turned his head to the side "I am sorry we had to leave your mom behind. It was too dangerous to stay there any longer."
"*sniff* why did you come back anyway I thought you left for good? Didn't the elders forbid you from returning?"
"I would never leave you cubs behind. Even you Luh you may not be my real son but I always have thought of you as one and the elders would never have stopped me from coming back. Your mother contacted me when your great grandfather died she was worried about what her father would do to you so she called me to get my two boys and you as well."
"But you left when Vincent was born and you left him behind then! Why?"
"I had to a lot of the clan had become suspicious of me when the wolves were spotted around the area. And when Vincent was born I left with the advice from Lallah's grandfather."
"*sniff* I just want my mommy back!" Luhull could not take it anymore he broke out in tears as the reality of losing his mother was really setting in.
"Come here you!" Jacob got up and moved over to the three boys. He moved Junior out of the way and sat next to Luhull. He pulled Luhull and Jacob to his sides while he placed Vincent in his lap. Vincent grabbed on tightly to his father and then started to cry. Junior and Luhull also cuddled up to Jacob in order to get some comfort as they too started to cry.
"I know you cubs are hurting but I will do everything I can to make that hurt go away just trust me." Jacob said as he held the cubs tightly while fighting back his tears. He messed up badly. He really should have stayed with Lallah. Jacob continued the hold the cubs tight for the rest of the flight. And so they flew away from the turmoil of war into the realm of peace that was the world of the wolves.
Ten years have passed since Jacob rescued the three cubs from the war torn part of the world. The wolves have since set up a colony in the western hemisphere using it as a slave trading route. They buy prisoners of war and ship them over to be slaves to the wolves.
Hybrids have been something wolves have dealt with and most wolves consider them to be an insult to their species. Some become slaves to their wolf parents some become recognized as wolves but suffer from a huge social stigma against them. Even more stigmatized are free non-wolves who have been adopted by a wolf. Most have so much trouble after leaving their parents they end up in slavery even though their parents are wolves. These are the problems facing Vincent and his family right now and to make matters worse Their Father Jacob Fangz sr. is an alpha.
The reason the wolves took control during the early stages of the 2000 year war was they found the alpha phenom and utilized it to its fullest potential.
The alpha phenom is a genetic mutation that occurred in the early stages of the war. The wolves found a way to identify alphas. Alphas have enhanced intelligence physical powers and leadership capabilities. In magic species they also have enhanced magic talent. The wolves found theirs and trained them to lead. Thanks to their contributions alphas are given a special status. They are given political power over areas and are worshipped by the regulars.
Everyone is required to have an id that has symbols of their status. R signals regular wolves. A stands for alpha. S stands for Slave and H(A) is given to relatives of alphas who are related but not alphas themselves. Luhull was has H(A),R on his ID. The others all have A. Including Bryce their brother. Bryce was the result of a negotiation between Jacob and his parents. They were upset that he was not producing an heir so they arranged for him to donate his sperm and produce an heir. Bryce is 16 and has only lived with his dad and the others for the past 6 months. He was raised by his grandparents while his father was in the snow tiger settlement. Bryce is constantly at odds with Luhull. Because Luhull is the oldest he would be the heir to his father's alpha rule. No wolves would be ruled over by a non-alpha better yet a Non wolf. Bryce is in line to inherit his father's area if the alpha association steps in which they are likely to do. Jacob however has groomed Luhull for the position since he adopted him and some see him as a great asset what they have in store for Luhull is yet to be seen. The others have a more complicated position Jacob and Vincent who are hybrids have alpha status but since they are hybrids some on the association consider them as bad as Luhull but others see them as great heirs. Jacob sr. is considered one of the most popular alphas with the regular wolves since Jr. and Vincent were groomed by him for their roles some consider them to be just as good as Bryce.
