#2 of I gave you all.

I know it's short. But I wrote this pretty quickly. I also figured that I'd keep these chapters short and upload them quite often.

_ Two days later. _

Ollie sighed deeply, his only other action the slow stirring of the hot beverage in front of him. Ignoring the world around him.

"Something wrong Ol'?" He looked up when he heard his best friends voice. He frowned at the wolf and said;

"No Jack I'm fine." His voice had an edge to it, it was clear he wasn't on top form. He looked up again when he felt Jacks paw on his shoulder.

"Don't lie to me Oliver." Ollie sighed at the use of his un-abbreiviated name. He knew that Jack only used it when he was serious. "I'm here for you. Just tell me what's wrong." Ollie leaned back in his seat and sighed. He could trust Jack, he could always trust Jack. So he relented.

"It's Vic..." He stopped. Jack pressed him when he didn't continue.

"What about Vic?...Is everything okay?" He insisted.

*Sigh. "No, not really. I've known that there was something wrong with Vic for a while now. He's grown more distant, he lies to me. He's gone most days. At first I was happy that he was reaching out again for the first time since...since Ben died." He paused to take a sip of tea before continueing. "But lately, there's been something else. He's lost interest in me. He's moving away from me-"

"You don't think he's-"

"I KNOW he is!" Ollie calmed down a little.

"Don't you trust him?" Jack insisted. "It could be any number of things."

"I DO trust him. I gave him the benefit of a doubt, I believed him. Right up until I saw the evidence for myself." He sighed yet again.

"What kind of evidence?...Did you...?"

"No! Who do you take me for?...It was nothing like that. Just little things; texts, behaviour..." He paused for a moment. "...Lovebites."

Jack stayed silent for a few moments before asking hesitently. "Have you...Confronted him yet?"

Ollie shook his head. "No, and I hope it doesn't come to that." He saw Jacks confused look and explained. "I know it's clear he doesn't love me bu-"

"He does love you!" Jack almost cried.

"How should you know?...Anyway. As I was saying before I was so RUDELY interrupted; It's clear he doesn't love me , but I still love HIM. I just hope he cares about me enough to tell me the truth."

"So you're just going to let it go?"

"What can I do? I love him. I just...I just want someone to...to love until I...Until I-"

"Until you what?" Jack looked concerned now. "What aren't you telling me Oliver?"

"Nothing I..." He sighed, knowing he could never lie to Jack. "I just can't share it yet. Just, please let it go for now. Please?"

Jack nodded solemnly. The two stayed silent for a little longer. Each contemplating the situation. Until Ollie stood up.

"well it's best I-" His farewell was cut off by Jack leaping to his feet and pulling him into a hug. The fur was comforting.

"Just remember that I'm here for you Ollie." He released him. "You don't have to go through this alone."

Ollie smiled some. "Thanks Jack. You're a good friend."

Vic sat on the bench, waiting. He breathed in deeply through his nose admiring the sweet smells offered by the park. It seemed so different from the city that encompassed it.

His smile widened when he felt someone hug him from behind. He murred and whispered:

"Hello love."

"Hello." They whispered in return. Before moving around and sitting next to him.

Vic tilted his head. "Is something wrong?" His lover nodded.

"You could say that." Jack looked into Vics eyes.

To be continued.
