As a mystery unfolds around the disappearance of a young man, an agent of a top-secret, pseudo-governmental group aimed at monitoring and policing alien activity on Earth must rely on a civilian. The risks are high, but just what might the men learn about one another?

The universe was vast, incomprehensible in its size and magnitude and the beautiful singular experiences it held. There was no galaxy quite like the milky way, and on one arm of that spiral galaxy no planet quite like Earth. Somewhere down on that water covered planet, beneath the thin sheets of clouds and trees and lamps was a young man, staring up at the stars, sitting on a knee high brick wall that was at least four times his age, wondering just what was out there.
Will's blue eyes reflected the stars above, sparkling just as brightly on the contoured edges that were the windows to his soul. He was nineteen years old, his blond hair just a tiny big shaggy, his left ear pierced. Will's torso was covered in a red and gold tie-die shirt emblazoned with his college's logo, the word 'GUIDE' emblazoned across his shoulder blades.
As a Sophomore, Will couldn't have been prouder of his school. It had great programs, great faculty, great students and an amazing campus at the edge of the wilderness. Will gladly had stepped up as a tour guide for prospective students. It seemed quite natural for him to show them around and share the wonder he felt, but once they all went home, in that quiet of the night, Will started to wonder what the future held for him.
It was a scary thought, one that he tried to shy away from, but eventually college would end. The golden era of his life would be over. Will didn't know what he wanted to do after college yet, he just knew that he better figure it out before it was time... though as he looked forward, Will couldn't help but think of the stories of his youth. He looked up at a star in particular, deciding to make a wish on it. He closed his eyes, focused on his future and worded the wish in his head.
As his eyes opened again, he paused. The star he had wished on wasn't there anymore. Will hesitated, feeling a chill run up his spine. His eyes searched the heavens, wondering where the star had gone, not realizing that chills usually ran down spines and dew drops rolled down to the ground... but that was not happening. Across the massive grassy quad before him, droplets of water were running up the blades of grass, the grass going stiff before the light mist began to raise up.
A wind began to circle around the area as the lamp posts around the buildings flickered and went out. Will sprung to his feet, watching the campus go dark around him. His eyes darted around before he realized there was one source of light remaining... and it was coming from above him. Will looked up slowly, a light growing brighter above him as it reflected in his eyes... and then engulfed him.
The teenager's body went rigid. It felt as if he'd been electrified. The water continued to seep out of the grass on the quad, rising around Will as his body grew weightless and began to ascend. He went up, up, up and disappeared into the light, helpless to resist. Where he had stood, depleted of its water, the quad looked almost scorched in places. Brown lines began to burn into the grass, creating a hap-hazard and spiraled symbol of sorts.
The column of light snapped off and the 'shooting star' began lifting back up toward the atmosphere, leaving the college campus behind. The lights along the foot paths flickered and snapped back on almost as if nothing had happened, though the campus was in fact one student short... and one quad circle richer.

The growl of the motorcycle echoed through the streets, the tires gripping the cement as it raced through the city at dangerous speeds... but that was really the point, at least to the passenger on the back of the bike. Sabyn sat with his ass hiked up in the air, his groin resting against the denim clad ass of the driver. Sabyn was precisely where he wanted to be, his black hair slicked back, a mustache crossing his upper lip and untended stubble covering his cheeks. He was a bit trendy for a Latino and very much gay. He also had found his ideal man.
The driver of the bike was six foot two, his long black hair filled with streets of purple. Despite the long hair, he took the time to give himself some spikes. It was an unusual look, but Sabyn liked unusual. Sabyn reached around the driver with one arm, resting a hand on his stomach. He expected the driver to have a firm stomach, though it was oddly soft and quite warm. Still, the warmth was nice after a night of bar crawling.
The bike rounded another corner, heading toward the mercantile blocks. The apartment buildings fell away and were replaced with warehouses and factories. The bike finally slowed, heading toward one warehouse in particular. Sabyn stiffened a bit.
"I thought you were taking me to your place." Sabyn said.
"I am." The driver replied, pulling into the parking lot. There were other bikes there, all lined up in a row and all identical. Sabyn looked at the other bikes, considering his fate for a long moment. It was looking more like he'd stumbled onto a member of some sort of gothic biker gang and now he was going to meet the others. Not exactly the one on one he had in mind, but there was still hope.
Sabyn and the rider got off the bike and started moving toward the building. Sabyn looked at the man he'd put his life in the hands of. Daevin was as pale as the moon but his hair was as dark as night. His cheek bones and chin were angular and his ears almost elfin. There was an unusual characteristic about him that seemed impossibly exotic. It was what had drawn Sabyn to him in the first place.
Daevin reached out and opened the door, putting a hand on Sabyn's back, leading him into the warehouse. Sabyn was guided along, turning his head as the door was shut behind him. Two more black denim clad men shut the doors and locked them. They were just as elfin in their features as Daevin, but something was different. They didn't have hair spikes... they had horns. Sabyn looked at Daevin and watched as he lifted his sunglasses off, revealing neon purple goat like eyes.
"Hell no..." Sabyn murmured.
"Come now, if you wanted ordinary, you wouldn't have been drawn to me." Daevin replied, reaching up to unzip his shirt, revealing a fairly typical chest which gave way to a wet, squishy orifice lined with rubber anemone like fringes. It seemed to pulse with anticipation.
"You're saying we're going to fuck and you'll let me go?" Sabyn asked sarcastically. Daevin chuckled.
"Well, that isn't quite the idea of oral we had in mind..." Daevin chuckled. Sabyn's deep chocolate eyes darted around, surveying his options.

Gleaming pure white headlights shone out of the black sleek Lexus as it rolled down the street, perfect in its spotlessness. Every seam, every piece of glass and every detail was perfectly maintained. Inside the car was someone who looked just as polished. At twenty seven years of age, he was rather non-descript. His brown hair was perfectly in place, his black suit and tie were wrinkle free and the white of his under shirt practically glowed.
On the dashboard a small screen chirped and pulsed, an indicator pulsing. The driver pulled the car over to the curb and stepped out of his car, moving around to the back. A quick tap of the key bob popped the trunk and the felt panels pulled back, allowing a tray to slide up and open. As the street lights hit the contents of the tray, it became apparent the contents were very atypical firearms.
Each were crafted in polished chrome, glistening and clean. Some had small gel cartridges, others had resonance chambers. The man in the suit pulled out a handgun sized weapon and pulled the casing back. A blue light began building inside along with a faint hum. He gave a resolute nod and turned toward the building, approaching it with a calm and practiced demeanor.
Step by step he approached the warehouse, raising his weapon, ready to open fire, but as he reached for the door he froze. Something was off... it smelled off. Without warning, the windows of the building erupted with fire, the corrugated metal walls shuddering. The agent pulled the doors open and raised his gun, a scream elicited from the person on the other side of the door. The agent stepped back as Sabyn stumbled out, his clothes singed and a trail of blood leaking from his lip.
"What you want fool? Don't you know better than to go pointing a gun at people when they're coming out of an exploding warehouse?!" Sabyn muttered, getting out a few feet before turning to look at the building.
"What happened here?" The agent questioned, hesitating, "Sabyn Rojas?"
"Do I know you brother?" Sabyn asked.
"You don't remember me." The agent replied.
"You mean you don't think I'd remember you?" Sabyn asked before shaking his head, "You'd never believe me if I told you anyway."
"You found a hot guy and went to his place, but he wanted to drain you of all your blood and bodily fluids and share them with his hive clan?" The agent asked. Sabyn's jaw tightened.
"You a psychic?" Sabyn asked.
"No, I just know your type... You certainly have an M.O., though how you keep getting involved with aliens and then saving yourself is beyond me." The agent said, reaching for his sunglasses.
"He wasn't no illegal alien, he was a..." Sabyn paused, looking at the agent and then the car outside, his eyes widening, "You're... You're like from those stories, the Men in Black, Area 51 and stuff!" Sabyn murmured.
"Please... Area 51 has nothing on us. Now, if you'll just look here, I'll" The agent paused, realizing that Sabyn had closed his eyes, "What are you doing?" he asked.
"If you're going to kill me, I don't want your mug to be the last thing AI see, its too ordinary." Sabyn replied.
"I'm not going to kill you... I just want you to look right here." The agent said, pressing the back of a black rectangular device a little narrower than a cell phone. The top of the device popped up, revealing a blue diode... but Sabyn continued to keep his eyes clothes. The agent sighed, "Are you going to do it?" he asked.
"Bro, I don't even know your name." Sabyn replied. The agent gritted his teeth a bit. The twenty three year old had always been a handful but he was getting even worse. Still, if he could get him to cooperate, he wouldn't have to worry about what the kid knew.
"I'm T. Now, would you just look here? It isn't going to hurt." The agent replied. Sabyn opened one eye.
"What kind of name is T anyh-" Sabyn was cut off by a bright flash of blue light that seeped into his brain, the memories of the evening eroding way like dust in the wind until his entire evening was gone. T looked at Sabyn for a moment, weighing something on his mind. He knew he only had a short window of opportunity while Sabyn was going to be suggestible.
"Sabyn you're a smart guy. You have lots of potential. Up until now you've just been thinking too much with the wrong head. Get your affairs into order, look for new opportunities to be a better kind of man... and stop going out with abusive polygamists with a penchant for arson." T said, waiting for a few moments before he pulled his sunglasses off and tucked them in their pocket. Sabyn blinked a few times before he looked around groggily.
"What..." Sabyn murmured gently, looking at T suspiciously.
"What, what? You okay kid? Had too much to drink? That happened to me on a few awful dates. Why don't I give you a quick ride home and you can sleep it off." T offered.
"That... That's probably a good idea. I guess it was an awful date." Sabyn said, his brain working to fill in the gaps in his memory. Things began falling into place... Daevin and the other guys, trying to get their kicks anyway they could. He'd turned their orgy down and instead they'd set fire to the place. It seemed shocked, and yet it all just made so much sense in his head. T moved and opened the door and Sabyn moved over, settling into the seat. T shut the door and moved around to the other side, though he paused to pull out his cell phone.
"Y, we need a clean up crew on sixty forth and appaloosa. Anhydrous explosion. I'm taking care of the witness." T said before turning the phone off, getting in the car. The engine rumbled to life and soon the car was rolling on its way.

The scent of rain... No, ions... Ionized air... Sterile air. The thoughts ran through Will's mind before any other. He blinked slowly, eyes opening to a very strange and very disturbing sight. He was in a metallic room. Turquoise panels of metal covered the walls, interrupted only by a trapezoidal shaped door frame and occasional embedded screens. The screens were covered with an image that seemed to be a rolling aurora of green and blue while alien script flashed over it all.
Will's mind slowly rebooted itself, bringing back the memories of the shooting star, the light and being lifted up. Will gasped, trying to step forward before realizing he was restrained. Metal cuffs rounded his wrists and ankles. There was a loop around his waist as well, though it was far too large and didn't really restrain him much. Will struggled more, pulling until he heard a clang. His eyes scanned the room again before lowering... realizing there was some sort of being in front of him, coming up to his waist.
The creature looked almost humanoid. He was three and a half feet tall, covered with leathery brownish orange skin and he had four arms, each of his six fingered hands ending in nubby claws like a dog. Four orange eyes blinked as he studied his computer scanner, nodding to himself with satisfaction. Will felt his heart racing in his chest, but he knew it wasn't over. He was cute, polite, peppy and popular. He was the kind of guy everyone loved. Perhaps he could persuade the alien.
"Hey, I know this is probably some huge misunderstanding, but could you let me go? I'm sure I'm not the kind of person you want. I mean, I'm college educated. Most alien abduction stories come from farmers and stuff..." Will said. The alien looked up at him for a moment before it tapped its device. Will heard his own voice played back before it was sped up, the pitch shifted and slowly replaced with alien words. The creature listened to it played back before he started to laugh and guffaw.
"No, you right... You very right. Just relax, you be very happy soon." The alien said, hobbling over to the far wall. He opened up a panel and revealed a few hundred vials. He ran one of his four hands along before he pulled out a reddish gold one, examining it carefully while another hand pulled out a device that looked like some kind of gun. The vial was inserted into the gun and the creature came hobbling back.
Will felt more and more worried, struggling tighter against his restraints, fighting as best he could... but he'd never been a fighter, he'd always been a lover. The creature reached out and lifted Will's shirt, exposing his abdomen. The gun was brought up, the muzzle pressed against his stomach and then the trigger pulled. There was a sharp nip of pain penetrating deep into his stomach, but then the pain faded everywhere but the very surface of his skin. The alien lowered the gun and watched.
Will felt something squirm around in his stomach, rooting around and shifting. At first he thought he'd been injected with some sort of parasite, but then he realized it wasn't a foreign body at all. The baby fat on his stomach was slowly shifting, thickening and hardening and turning into muscle. The smooth stomach firmed up all over, pushing out slowly into defined abdominal muscles. A defining line formed, then was bisected by others. Will soon had a six pack stomach... and his pectorals were filling out as well. The muscles expanded thicker and wider, his nipples going rigid before his areola spread out wider and wider.
"What are you do-ING to ME?!" Will asked, his voice cracking and getting deeper as he spoke. Even the words felt strange in his mouth, working around a swelling tongue. Will's jaw went slack, making room for the tongue as it grew wider, taking on a sand-paper like feel... but the wider tongue was not alone. Will's canine teeth were growing sharper, stretching down from the top of his mouth as the lower ones stretched up. The teeth to the sides of his canines began to stretch too, oozing calcium and dentin that soon hardened into bigger fangs.
Will panted through his new fangs, his body feeling warm all over, especially as the hair on his head seemed to get thicker, trapping more heat. The shaggy hair pushed out of his scalp faster, bangs dropping down over his eyes, the hair descending down his neck. New strands of hair began pushing out of his cheeks, but it wasn't stubble, it was soft like head hair or fur. The hair billowed out of his cheeks, blond and luscious, reaching his jawbone before it came to a stop.
"Phase one complete. Short rest time now." he said before he turned, pausing, looking over his shoulder at the human as if he was guarding himself from a joke. Will was too distracted by the changes he'd underwent to notice the opening for such a barb. The alien seemed satisfied at that and wandered to the door, leaving the room and leaving Will to adjust to his altered body.

Water poured out of the hose as Sabyn moved from spot to spot in the nursery, watching the water soak into the rich soil and nourish the many exotic kinds of plats. It seemed that the geraniums were the most thirsty. Sabyn seemed less like himself as he moved around between the aisles of flowers beneath the clear plastic arches. He'd been stuck inside his own head a lot, dressed more modestly for his work. if anything, he looked faintly like a migrant with his cinnamon colored skin and dark hair, though he'd been born in the are and never wandered very far.
Sabyn had been thinking a lot about his life and what options were ahead of him. He did seem to have bad luck with men, though every time a date really seemed to get out of hand it as if he couldn't remember the specifics. Sabyn moved back toward the nursery office, letting the water refill fountains that had evaporated too much. He moved past the office, pausing as he stood in front of the little window. Stuck to the wall inside the office was a picture that Sabyn knew well, the picture of a crop circle. The grass was burned and dead but in a very complex pattern. Sabyn stood there, watering so long that the fountain ran over, water dribbling onto his foot and soaking his sneaker.
"Sabyn, what is it?" Came the questioning voice of Carlos Hennessey, the owner and operator of the nursery. Sabyn didn't take his eyes off the symbol on the wall.
"Where did you get that?" Sabyn asked, haunted by a ghost of his past.
"This? The college sent it over... Said some kids burned their turf with lye or something and needed an estimate to replace it. Why?" Carlos asked.
"I... I think I've seen it before..." Sabyn whispered. He had seen it before when his brother Alejandro disappeared. They were supposed to meet in the football field after prom, but when he'd gotten there Alejandro was gone and he'd never seen his brother again. The only trace was the symbol, a symbol that Sabyn had spent years studying.... And here it was again.
"It's... really weird. Do you know what does this?" Carlos asked.
"I'll let you know when I find out." Sabyn replied, his eyes not leaving the symbol.

Will grunted as the door to the room opened again, disturbing his slumber. The lids of his eyes felt heavy but slowly they opened up, revealing bright yellow eyes with vertical slits. A long, rough tongue slithered out of his mouth, licking his lips before he gave a long, fang filled yawn... but with sleep shaken off, his eyes grew alert and he looked over at the door. His abductor was moving in, looking almost solemn... especially as he lifted a fairly powerful looking weapon. Will tensed.
"Wait! If I... If I'm not turning out like you want, there has to be a way to fix it. You said I was the right one for this... Just don't shoot." Will begged.
"There is no other way." The alien replied before he pulled the trigger. A flash of light swept out, hitting Will. There was a sizzling and a burning, but only of his clothing. Will felt no pain. He looked down, watching his clothes burn away, revealing his naked chest, his groin, and then the rest of him. His manhood fell down, no longer hugged close to his body, laying against his leg. A light breeze from the air duct blew through wispy strands of reddish blond hair growing from between his swollen, fat nipples. Will had always wanted chest hair, he just hadn't imagined getting it like this.
"What are you doing? What is the point of this?" Will asked slowly. The alien put down his gun and went to get another vial from storage.
"I am a collector, a gatherer, a procurement specialist." The alien said. It seemed obvious he had been studying the language.
"But you aren't collecting me, you're changing me." Will replied.
"Semantics... Thee are certain holes in my collection, species that can no longer be obtained... But you are receptive to the remnants of their DNA, you will be the key..." The alien grinned, hobbling over, injecting Will again. Will hissed, groaning.
"What am I becoming?" Will groaned, throwing his head back as he felt his jaw pop and shift, his jaw bone elongating before his upper lip pushed out as well, forming a blunt muzzle.
"You are becoming magnificent..." The alien whispered, watching. Will's lanky body began to grow in all directions. His shoulders broadened, his back rounded, his arms thickened as his biceps and triceps filled out. Even his spine was stretching longer while his waist expanded outward, filling out the metal ring there better. Will panted and hissed, feeling his ears burn as they grew outwards, stretching into points. Will's fingertips swelled up, getting puffy and red as his fingernails started to sink into them, thickening and curving into points as they turned black.
The hair that had stopped growing at Will's jaw bone began to spread out across the base of his chin, growing in less like a beard and more like a mane... a powerful, thick blond mane. It dropped down past his chin and collar bone, hanging down to his meaty chest. More strands of blond grew out on either side of his lips, like an interrupted mustache that hung down, blending into the rest of his mane.
A heady, powerful feeling filled Will. He felt so strong and agile, so dominant and male... but he was still in there, beneath the new instincts. His fear was melting away, but not his thoughts. He wondered how he might escape, or failing that, if this was his wish granted. Life after college was being planned for him, but as what? A zoo exhibit? Whatever it was, it wasn't over. He groaned and shifted more, feeling the tingling spread over his body at an even faster rate.
The hair on his arms turned reddish gold and grew in thicker and thicker. Every strand grew longer before more strands filled in. His arm flesh disappeared, leaving just a fur coating over powerful muscle. The fur covered his fingers as well, though far less thickly. He flexed his hands, his claws scraping metal as his legs got the fur treatment next. His bare feet ached and throbbed before swelling, stretching longer. His heel began to diminish as his arch increased, the bones crackling and shifting as his feet began to look more like paws.
Will hissed and grunted, though he began to feel very strange and good as a new sensation hit him, feeling almost like he was pushing out flesh from his groin and ass. Sure enough, his cock was elongating, descending to five inches limp, then six and seven and eight, though it wasn't going to be limp much longer. Blood rushed in, thickening the meat as it grew darker. At first it seemed to just be red from erection, but it was more than that. The swelling meat turned dark red and then purple, gaining a slight texture. The skin cells were becoming rougher and a few little nodules swelled outward, curbing and thickening into rubbery barbs. They pushed out of his cock like flower blossoms before puffing up, demanding the cock be used.
The changing human groaned and growled through his extending muzzle as his cock reached ten inches, then fourteen, lifting up above balls that were now furry and red... but his cock hadn't been the only flesh to grow. His ass cheeks had separated, revealing a quivering black tail hole beneath the start of a new tail. The red furry cord of flesh descended, whipping around, a little yellow puff ball of soft fur at the tip like a tassel. The tail whipped around as his ass cheeks got more muscled, thicker and rounder and then fury. The fur covered his arms and legs and was covering everything between, creeping up his muscled stomach and back, meshing into the fur that already filled his pits and covered his chest and shoulders.
Soon the blond mane was accompanied by red cheek fur, lifting up around his eyes like a mask before crossing over the bridge of his nose. Will panted more, though as he tried to take breath in it failed. His nose was full of something... Mucus, a collapsed tube, he didn't know. He tried to draw in, but his nose was changing. The tip of his nose lifted up, his nostrils revealed forward as the base of his nose was covered with velveteen like purple fur. The nostrils narrowed, making a perfect little feline like triangle leading up to his broad and powerful face.
Suddenly Will got a strong breath through his nose, picking up the smells of the room a hundred times better. He groaned in delight at that, but the sound suddenly fell on deaf ears. Will's hearing was gone, and so were his ears... at least gone from their original position. The pointed red furry triangles shifted up, migrating up his scalp to the top of his head before the sound restored. There was a shifting and a popping before his ability to hear came back. His ears flattened and then perked up.
In two short treatments, Will had been changed fundamentally. No longer was he the lanky teenager he had been. He was a six foot, four inch tall red and gold lion beast. He felt the power and the instinct, but he still felt himself in there. Whatever the alien had done, it hadn't taken him over yet... There was still a chance, even if he was fighting hard to think more about escape than his massive purple throbbing feline manhood... which was oh so handsome. Drool leaked from the corner of Will's mouth as he chased such thoughts away and focused on trying to come up with some sort of plan.

The sweet smell of cherry blossoms carried on the wind as Sabyn followed the foot paths, but there was another smell... Freshly mowed lawn. Sabyn rounded the corner, trying to find his way around the school grounds. He'd only grabbed a quick peek at the campus layout online. Finding it in person was a lot more difficult... but the sound of machinery working was certainly a good clue. he moved around the outside edge of the English building, tromping through the grass before he saw the quad... and large black trucks with balloon tires. Workers in black body suits were cutting into the quad, removing the turf that had been burned while new grass was being brought in to replace it.
Sabyn's eyes surveyed everything, a bit alarmed at the severe look of the garden people, but he spotted a school official talking with some men in black suits and ties. Sabyn had come all this way and the circle was already being taken, but he wasn't going to leave without some answers. Sabyn stepped forward, striding toward the official before someone sidestepped and blocked his path.
"Let me through, I just want to see..." Sabyn lied, hoping he could still pass for a student.
"I can't let you do that, this area is off limits." The man said.
"Off limits? What authority do you have?" Sabyn demanded.
"Department of Agriculture, division six. Now sir, if you'll please come with me, we have to make sure you weren't exposed." The agent said, putting his hand on Sabyn's shoulder. Sabyn struggled to get free, but near by there was the sound of a clearing throat.
"Is there a problem here JJ?" Came the dignified voice. Sabyn and JJ turned, looking over at T. Sabyn's brows furrowed.
"You're that guy that drove me home..." Sabyn murmured.
"And you... keep showing up. JJ, will you excuse us? I have this." T said. JJ nodded and moved off, resuming his watch of the perimeter. Sabyn watched him go before looking back at T.
"You aren't really department of agriculture, are you? There is no division six." Sabyn replied.
"No, we're not." T replied, looking into Sabyn's eyes curiously, "Do you know who we are?" he asked.
"You showed up outside of a crop circle, your men over there are probably asking if anyone's gone missing, having the school do a head count. If I'm right, you'll find there's one person missing.... Someone that was standing in that circle when it was formed." Sabyn replied. T said nothing for a long moment. He looked at the young man before him, taking a long breath.
"It isn't just that you date aliens, is it? You've got a connection to them." T replied.
"What?" Sabyn murmured, looking startled. T looked at the other agents around before his gaze retuned to Sabyn.
"You're right, we're not department of agriculture. We're part of a top secret organization parallel to the government that polices and monitors all extra-terrestrial activity on the planet Earth." T said.
"Extra..." Sabyn trailed off.
"Terrestrial, not of this world, aliens..." T replied.
"You said I dated aliens... And you act like we've met. You know me, but I don't know you?" Sabyn asked.
"That is correct." T replied.
"How is that possible?" Sabyn asked.
"An electro bio-mechanical neural transmitting zero synapse repositioner, it resets the neurons of your brain to a previous state." T said, reaching into his pocket. Sabyn instinctively closed his eyes. T looked alarmed at that reaction, "What?"
"You have a thing that erases memories..." Sabyn replied, "I don't want you to use it."
"How is you closing your eyes going to stop that?" T asked.
"Because of the..." Sabyn trailed off, not sure why. After a moment his eyes opened again. T said nothing, but he was quite surprised. Sabyn remembered that the neuralizer worked with a flash of light. He was retaining information despite the repeated exposure.
"Listen, just... don't erase my brain. I can be an asset. This symbol has shown up six times before, and every time it does, someone has been kidnapped... Just like my brother. You wouldn't be here if it wasn't significant. Let me help you, let me figure this out." Sabyn pleaded.
"There's no guarantee we'll find your brother, or even learn what happened to him." T replied.
"There never are promises in life... But what if something I know will help get any of them back? One life saved? That's got to be worth it..." Sabyn said.
"I let you help me, we close the case... Then what?" T asked.
"Then I guess... you can flashy thing me, send me back to my life oblivious... as long as I can help someone." Sabyn replied. T gave a slight smile at that.
"Well, come on. We better get you ready to go on the mission." T replied, turning to head for his car.
"Don't you have to finish up here?" Sabyn asked.
"Finish what up?" T asked. Sabyn turned, looking over his shoulder, his eyes widening. The truck was gone, the turf had been replaced and the school official had a strange, dreamy look on his face. All of the other agents had disappeared. Sabyn said nothing, moving to keep up with T.
"Where are we going now?" Sabyn asked.
"Headquarters." T replied.
"To get ready for the mission?" Sabyn asked. T nodded, moving up to his Lexus. Sabyn smirked a bit, "I like you. You're right to the point." Sabyn replied, getting in the other side of the car.

The door eased open as T led the way. Sabyn followed him in, looking around, a bit bemused by the two gigantic fans blowing across from one another, circulating the air in the small space. He was even more bemused by the lone elderly black man sitting in a chair off to one side. T strode with his usual confidence and Sabyn followed.
"I see you brought home a stray." The man said in the chair without looking up from his newspaper. Sabyn said nothing, though he smiled a bit. He was glad to see someone had a bit of humor. The two moved into an elevator at the end of the hall and began their descent. It didn't take Sabyn long to realize that the elevator was little more than a glass tube, especially as they descended into open air.
MIB headquarters stretched out around them, long and wide like a massive white airport terminal. There were rooms with glass walls on either side of the long hallway, a duty free shop and offices suspended on impossibly thin columns. An impossible menagerie of aliens roamed the walk spaces, intermingling among non-descript, black suited men and women. Sabyn felt a little under-dressed, reaching up to rub the scruff on his cheeks.
"Don't worry, we'll get you dressed while the twins research the turf from the school." T explained.
"They'll find what I did... The grass wasn't burned, the water was sucked out and it dried up." Sabyn replied. T looked at Sabyn as the elevator came to a stop and it opened up to the floor.
"Hydrodynamic polarity oscillator... You figured that out on your own? That does narrow it down." T considered.
"When my brother disappeared, I was relentless... I just didn't have access to knowledge like this. So it helped? The bit about the water?" Sabyn asked. T nodded.
"HPO's have a vulnerability. They are all initiated with a sample of highly compressed water called ice 10. I think we have a little in deep freeze. We should be able to trick the system into thinking its turning on for the first time, assuming we can find the ship. We'll use ourselves as the test payload, initiate the system and appear right on board." T said with a grin.
"So... we're going to beam ourselves up?" Sabyn asked hopefully.
"I don't know if I'd go..." T trailed off, looking at the hopeful look in Sabyn's rich brown eyes. He soon sighed and nodded, "Yes, we'll beam ourselves up. But you have to look the part if you're coming with me. Suit, tie, sunglasses." T said.
"Gun?" Sabyn asked. T shook his head.
"Weapons restriction, MIB personnel only... But I'm sure you'll have your wits about you. Now, down that hall, fourth right, then a left. You get dressed, I'll put my heads together with the twins, figure out what ship shouldn't be in our night's sky." T said. Sabyn nodded at that before he moved off, maneuvering between the sea of aliens, looking at their infinite diversity with wonder. T watched him go for a moment, a slight grin on his face before he headed to the tracking dome.

Bit by bit, the changes and injections were becoming familiar to Will. The injector no longer stung as it penetrated his red furry hide and the tingling in his blood was almost pleasant. The former human wondered if it was the repeated exposure to the serum, or if there was just that much less to change. The alien stepped back and examined Will, nodding to himself.
"A fine physical specimen indeed." the alien said, moving to turn Will's hand around, examining the claws and paw pads, running his fingers through the burgundy hued fur. Will snarled and swiped at the alien, making him jump back before chuckling.
"I'm going to chew on you like a nerf football!" Will growled, though he realized his threat didn't sound nearly as menacing once it came out... assuming the alien knew what a nerf football was, but foam was just so irresistable. That and, of course, the alien's skin seemed to already be akin to a football.
"Spirit, good... You'll need that to be convincing. You now hale from an amazing species indeed, the last of your kind... or perhaps the first." The alien smirked
"I'm human! What you did doesn't change that, I will always be human." Will replied.
"Perhaps that is true for the moment, but investors do not care about human sentiment. It is time for you to rest. We will begin mental conditioning in the morning." The alien smirked, turning to waddle out of the large double doors. Will watched the doors shut before he began to pull and fight and tug on his restraints. The metal had been invulnerable to his strength before, but now he was so much bigger and thicker there was the slightest of stretching going on. With enough stress applied, there was a slim chance for escape... and Will had to take it.

The dress shoes moved silently on the clean floor, crisp and shiny and black. They were brand new but felt worn in already, hugging Sabyn's feet with perfection. His slacks were just as nice, surprising the man deeply. Even his suit jacket didn't feel tight or cumbersome, it felt like a second skin. If he had been able to get clothes like that on the outside he would have dressed nice all the time. Sabyn walked out of the hallway, looking around for where T was. He paused as a large metallic column rolled itself along.
Sabyn caught his reflection on the surface of the robotic creature, barely recognizing himself. His hair had been cut shorter, all traces of color taken away. His cheeks were shaved smooth but his mustache had remained, trimmed nearly. Even his earring was gone. He looked on the fringes of being non-descript but still sexy. It was enough for him, and if he had to look the part to do the part then it would be worth it.
Putting his own looks aside, Sabyn moved through the terminal area, approaching a large floating sphere at the far end of the hall. T was leaning against the computer console run by a pair of green aliens with a single yellow eye on a stalk and tentacle like appendages. They were no doubt the twins T had mentioned earlier. Above the sphere were projected lights. There were hundreds, maybe even thousands of lights in various orbits. Some lowered to the surface, others were taking off.
"The FAA would have a heart attack if they knew how many close calls this is bound to make." Sabyn smirked. T looked up, eyeing Sabyn over.
"If they knew, that is." T smirked. "Sabyn, this is Bweryang and Bob. Bweryang, Bob, this is Sabyn." T introduced. Sabyn bowed his head to them before looking at T.
"So what's the good word?" Sabyn asked. T looked back at the alien twins.
"There are fourteen ships in orbit with hydrodynamic polarity oscillators. Twelve of them check out clean; proper documentation, flight paths, everything." T began. The holograms above him shifted, showing two lights.
"So we have a fifty-fifty chance?" Sabyn asked. The twins seemed to chortle a bit, though as far as Sabyn knew that was their native tongue.
"One of the two is a cobbled together hunk of junk, just enough to get some refugees here from the Petumius sector. That just leaves one, a ship using registration from Centauri B. Just so happens to be the home of our friends here." T replied, patting Bob on the shoulder.
"And why is that important?" Sabyn asked.
"Water content's too different. They can't use HPO's, they'd explode... They'd never sign off on something like that." T replied.
"Making that ship stand out like a sore thumb... So we have our target, I'm dressed to mess, are we missing anything else?" Sabyn asked.
"What about a plan?" T asked.
"Go in, bust some heads, save the kidnapped kid from college?" Sabyn asked. T considered before nodding.
"Good plan." he said, standing upright, moving down the hallway. Sabyn nodded to the twins.
"Gentlemen." he said, turning to catch up to T.

The round metallic room was quiet and dark, unattended in every way. Only one small screen was illuminated, filling with a mixture of alien and human computer code. The floor began to shudder and shift, metallic rings turning and aligning before they lit up. The floor grew brighter and brighter like molten metal before the light burst up in a column all at once. Two figures appeared in the light, a fog of mist around them before the floor snapped off. The mist splashed down around their feet, rolling off of their suits.
"Now that is a ride..." Sabyn murmured softly. Despite his levity, he was fully aware that he'd just set foot on an alien ship. He wondered if Alejandro had gone through something similar with his disappearance, or if there was a remote chance that his brother was somewhere onboard. T moved forward, examining the door controls before he pushed a series of buttons. The doors rumbled open, revealing a trapezoidal hallway. T strode forward with confidence and Sabyn followed.
"The layout seemed fairly mundane, though Sabyn was drawn to the doors on the side of the hall. They had several small porthole like windows he peered through. There were rooms full of canisters, rooms full of cases, even a room full of jungle like plants... and something else. As Sabyn watched, the branches of the trees moved and a purple furred, six armed ape wandered out from the trees, looking around, sniffing the air. Sabyn backed up.
"Is that him? Is that the culprit?" Sabyn whispered. T moved over, looking through the window, pausing.
"That's a Jontillian primate... They've been extinct for twenty five years, ever since their planet was destroyed over a mineral dispute... They never had a chance to develop into a fully sentient species." T murmured.
"So not our culprit?" Sabyn asked.
"I don' think its just your species that has been abducted." T said, moving back down the hallway. He brought his weapon up, ready for anything. They passed several more rooms, Sabyn checking each. There were aquatic creatures, insectoid creatures, and far more mammals. In each case they were in a small habitat that was suited to them. It was quite the setup, and the slight curvature of the hallway seemed to indicate that it took up the bulk of the ship, but they needed to get to the heart of the matter.
T reached out and held his arm before Sabyn, stopping his advance before pointing. Instead of a door to another room, there was a short hallway leading to an even wider double set of doors. It certainly looked promising to say the least. T looked to Sabyn and Sabyn nodded. The two began moving forward, approaching carefully. T was going to try and bypass the door, open it manually to give them an element of surprise but the door sensed the movement and opened on their own.
Sterile air rushed out, smelling almost like fresh rain. The room was large and bright, covered with stainless steel alloys and turquoise metal. There were devices galore and rows of tubes and vials and bottles, but the most striking thing was the furry red and gold lion man chained up on the far side of the room, struggling to break free of his bonds. His yellow eyes widened sharply as T and Sabyn entered.
"Watch out!" Will shouted, trying to warn them but it was already too late. T hissed as he felt something penetrate his suit, jabbing him in the ribs. The collector had rushed from behind the door frame to attack the intruders with the only weapon he had. There was a slight rush of fluids and then a tingling spreading through T's body. T grunted, his muscles going tight as the serum quickly flooded his blood stream. His hand twitched and soon his gun clattered to the floor. Sabyn ducked around T and brought his leg up, intending to kick the offender in the chest... and instead got the alien right in the head. The leather skinned alien yelped and skidded back, falling onto his side. The injector skidded across the floor. Across the room, the captive lion kept trying to break free, the metal groaning as he exerted all of his strength against his bindings.
"He's just a kid..." Sabyn murmured. There was a snarl as four arms pushed the alien upright back onto his feet.
"I am NOT a baby! I'll have you know your planet produces giants with its weak gravity... It is you who are the freaks, but useful freaks." The alien hissed.
"I was wrong..." T panted softly, watching his fingernails turn from white to brown and then to black, his perfectly well groomed brown hair starting to grow longer and come undone, looking shaggier. New hair follicles began to grow in his cheek, pushing outward on both sides like wavy, soft sideburns that crept toward his jawbone. T rubbed at his side, "You don't abduct other species, you make them..." T muttered.
"Well, what is a collector to do when what you need doesn't exist anymore?" The alien smirked, "You saved me time though... Toxconni felines do need to come in mating pairs." he smirked.
"You sick bastard..." Sabyn murmured, picking up the gun T had dropped, aiming it. The alien backed up slowly, holding all four arms up.
"Come now, surely... there is something you would enjoy becoming. I have a few more gaps on my extinct species list... Perhaps a manly Boglodite? Or a rare Stellairian..." The alien murmured.
"Keep talking football face, its only making it worse." Sabyn muttered, looking over at T through the corner of his eyes, "You okay over there?"
"Yeah, its... slowing down." T said, feeling his suit grow tight as his muscles tightened, filling out the fabric much more easily.
"You humans are such hypocrites... You want to save all your species, but you won't let me recreate the ones that are already gone..." The alien hissed again. Sabyn brought his weapon back up all the way, startling the alien into backing up more.
"If that's what you want to say to rationalize it to yourself, that's your business... but kidnapping people to experiment on? That crosses a line or two... and you don't want to cross the line with me." Sabyn murmured.
"So what are you going to do, arrest me?" The alien chuckled.
"Oh, that might be what someone from MIB would do... but I'm not MIB yet. I'm just a guy whose brother was abducted by some alien... someone like you." Sabyn said, slowly pulling on the trigger. Small blue LEDs along the barrel illuminated one by one.
"B... But your partner, surely he won't let you, he's-" the alien was interrupted.
"Becoming an animal at the moment? Yeah, you weren't very smart about that one... Well, either of them really. I guess you really do think small." Sabyn said.
"I'm NOT SMALL!" The alien shouted, grunting as his back finally hit something... something hot and firm. The alien slowly tipped his head back, looking into the amber eyes of the Toxconni lion he had created. Will let out a roar that echoed through the space, pulling on his restraints until they snapped, grabbing him with his huge paws.
The collector screamed, convinced he was going to be mauled, trembling and shaking. Will threw the alien half way across the room before lunging, landing on all fours, putting a large paw like hand on his chest. He gave another huge roar before his muzzled face turned into a big grin and he turned, looking back at the agents.
"So are you going to cuff him already?" Will asked.
"You're still you?" Sabyn asked with surprise. Will rolled his eyes.
"Yes, I am... I may have new instincts but my intellect is still here. Now, come on and hurry up." Will demanded. Sabyn holstered his weapon and moved forward to restrain the alien, feeling quite good about his first mission. He dug through drawers and found something similar to zip ties and brought them over, looking over at T. The seasoned agent looked to be getting a little better, steadying himself. Sabyn pulled the zip ties tight, giving T a slight nod of reassurance. T smiled back and nodded himself, glad that things had worked out alright in the end.

MIB headquarters was a strange place for Sabyn to be, though the stark differences stood out even more as he sat outside the infirmary, waiting to find out about T. Sabyn sat on a chair, watching a constant stream of aliens coming and going through the base as if it was some interstellar terminal... and in a way it was. The collector had been focused on recreating the species that had gone extinct, but the MIB were there to help the alien species that had lost their homes... It was an apolitical refuge, a sanctuary, a last chance at survival and an act of heroism that humanity knew nothing about... and Sabyn was glad they didn't.
A person could be compassionate, noble and understanding... but people were prone to fear and bigotry. Sabyn knew humans were on the right track, becoming more tolerant bit by bit. Eventually they would be ready to know the truth, but for now it had to be kept a secret... even to him. Sabyn looked up across the terminal, looking at a glass walled room where the collector's experiments wee being interviewed. They'd been brought home, freed from living in cages at least. Sabyn remembered his deal. He had set out to help just one person. He'd gotten a lot more than he bargained for.
The door to the infirmary hissed open and T moved out, straightening his suit. Sabyn turned and stood up, his jaw dropping slowly. T's hair had been shaved extremely short, short enough to not require any combing... and so had the sideburns that he had gained with the feline serum. There was no difference in the short hair on his cheeks and head. It was all the same color, the same length, flowing seamlessly from one point to another. Sabyn tried to suppress his thoughts of how sexy T was, especially as his groin began to harden.
"Good look." Sabyn muttered, biting his lip.
"Yeah, they said I'd have to shave six times a day if I cut it any shorter than this so I guess... I'm stuck with it. The nails are easier to clip at least." T said, lifting his hand to look at his black nails.
"So you can't be changed back, but things worked out okay?" Sabyn asked. T nodded at that.
"They said it won't interfere with my work... Could even help a bit. The extra muscles are nice." T replied.
"What about the kid? And the others?" Sabyn asked. T looked over to the interview room across the way.
"O is working with local groups to come up with a work program... Some of them will work as human integration specialists so incoming aliens can blend in better, though some might teach in their own areas. As for Will, he's requested to study up on MIB diplomacy and law practices. Its a tough program, but I think he'll make it through great." T smiled.
"I'm glad... Things really did work out. Its more than worth it." Sabyn said, taking a long breath, "So where do you want to do it?" he asked.
"Do what?" T asked.
"Flashy thing me." Sabyn replied.
"Oh, that? I thought you'd change your mind by now. We haven't even found your brother yet." T replied. Sabyn looked very confused.
"You're not going to erase my memories?" Sabyn asked.
"What's the point in that? You'd make a lousy partner with no memories." T replied. Sabyn's eyes widened.
"Partner? You want me to join MIB?" Sabyn grinned.
"I'd hoped that much would be obvious by now. Kid, you've got a lot to learn... but first... We've got to take care of a few things. Come on." T said, leading Sabyn off. Sabyn looked around before grinning wide.

Sabyn stood in front of a large metal sphere, lifting his hands up to either side with a bit of animosity. He looked across the way at T standing next to a woman in her early fifties, her blond hair slicked back neatly. Across the way another agent was working on deleting Sabyn from all records, working from his birth forward. Medical records, school records, work history, it was all being deleted...
"From now on you will dress only in attire specially sanctioned by MIB Special Services. You will conform to the identity we give you, eat where we tell you, and live where we tell you. You will have no identifying marks of any kind. You will not stand out in any way." the woman said, her English accent silken and yet authoritative, "Your entire image will be carefully crafted to leave no lasting memory whatsoever with anyone you encounter. You are a rumor, akin to deja vu and dismissed just as quickly. You no longer exist and you were never born. Anonymity is your name and silence your native tongue. You are no longer part of "the system." We are above the system, over it and beyond it. We are 'them.' We are 'they'. We are the Men in Black." O said. Sabyn held his hands to the orb, cringing as his fingerprints were eradicated, the flesh warped to become completely smooth.
Sabyn pulled his hands off, looking up on the screen as the agents even deleted his first name, letter by letter, shortening it to just S... S was his new name, just like T and O and all the others. It was a hard choice to make, to be sure, but it was worth it. It would always be worth it if there was just one more life to save... and if there was any hope of finding Alejandro out there somewhere. He'd gladly live his life as a man in black, and he'd gladly give his life to save another. It was a far more noble life than any he had led and the future was so bright he'd have to wear ray bans. At least they were provided.

Will advanced down the hallway a bit nervously, clutching a leather bound notebook to his chest. He wasn't sure what to expect. His life had changed so fast. Just a few days prior he'd been a human student without direction. Now he had a furry mane and paws and strength and vigor... He came up to the door at the end of the hall, looking at his reflection before the doors slid open. He had to admit, he looked good in a suit. It really brought out the red in his fur.
With the doors parted, the lecture hall was revealed. In many ways it was familiar. There was graduated seating, a podium at the base and a large screen that no doubt replaced conventional white boards. There were even other students getting situated already. Some were human, others were not... But it was a diverse mix that put Will at ease. As changed as he was, he belonged here.
Will moved down the ramp to find a seat, moving toward dead center of the classroom. He glanced up at the walls, wondering if they were so white they actually emitted light or if it was an optical illusion. He settled down onto the chair and it seemed to mold and shift beneath him, adjusting to perfect ergonomics. A soft chime sounded from the public address system and the students quieted down, directing their attention forward. Behind the podium there was a flicker before a glowing purple and blue woman appeared.
"Good morning class... And welcome to the new faces out there." The holographic teacher replied, "For those of you just joining us, this course is designed to teach you the skills you will need as future diplomatic agents. We will cover languages, practices, and core diplomatic fundamentals. You all come from different walks of life already, but together you will learn how to walk peacefully among the children of the stars." The teacher said.
Will gazed at the teacher with profound excitement blossoming in his heart, her glowing visage reflecting off of his eyes just as the stars had. In a strange way, Will wondered if this had been the answer to his wish... He'd wanted direction and focus and now he had it. He knew what was ahead for him, but more than that it just felt right. He wanted to be a diplomat, to help people. He didn't feel forced into his new life path, it felt like it had all been destiny. A broad grin covered the lion man's muzzle, his fangs glistening as his claws nearly dug into the desk. He was one happy feline, one confident in his life path.
