Pillow talk has many dimensions today, it seems.

Pent-up or not, there comes a point where enough is enough, of course, both of us comfortably sore in the right places, me resting on Victor's side, both of us looking like we were just about ready for the proverbial cigarettes. The room sure did have a funny smell to it but it wasn't smoke, heheh, a combination of musk and man-smells and Uncle Bob's Axle Grease and that goddamn orange-scented massage oil. It felt a bit sticky on my back and all over that sex towel we'd prudently placed on the be, but neither of us really cared to move yet. It was still more fun to just lay there and cuddle and snuggle and whatnot. Trade a few kisses and grins and knowing looks.

"Had good time, eh?" Victor asked me, a paw rubbing the base of my tail, one of his favorite parts of me, I figured, while he used a tone that made it sound like as if he was asking me if I had enjoyed going to the movies with him, not an hour and a half or so of bedroom gymnastics that had left us both ripe and stewing.

I batted his chest gently and chuckled, smiling still.

"We went through half of those condoms you brought, I suppose that speaks things?"

Victor flicked his ears and grinned a bit, knowingly.

"Didn't wanna sound like I was bragging or anything," he spoke, sounding so totally not bashful.

I tussled the furs on top of his head. He replied by giving my tail a little tug. That could be felt pretty damn deep down, thanks to his earlier butt-seduction of my posterior. I might be feeling that for a while now. At least he'd been gentle with me. At least he didn't come with a set of barbs that made even the most modest of shafts feel double sized...something which I, of course, had used to my own advantage to bring the Dobie into an almost paws-free orgasm...twice.

Oh yes. Rory Junior would be purring for a while now.

"Not at all," I mused, giving him my best "teheheh-we-just-had-sex" smirk, "I think you're a man of your word indeed..."

Lots of low, deep rumbling. That sounded good. Felt nice, too, my chest against his. He sounded pleased. I felt pleased, too. This had been a most heady afternoon, followed by this amusing relaxation now. I could definitely get used to this alright. Been a long while since I'd felt anything quite like this....had the chance to. Feeling like this was a rare commodity. Had to hold onto it. Hold onto the hockey hunk resting comfortably in my messy bed. Our mess.

Tehehe.

A kiss happened. Just a little, ticklish smooch. It felt nice.

"Glad you enjoyed yourself," Victor said again.

"All of it," I replied, truthfully. Never harmed to boost his confidence a bit...giving pleasure...receiving it...hah...receiving indeed. Hmmph. It was alright. No masses of discomfort. Just lots of...mass. Hmm. Off with the singular mental puns. I'd be better off using my mental faculties for snuggling Victor. Smiling and kissing that nice, manly chin on that long canine muzzle. Make him feel nice still, and feel good in my own part, too.

"That's nice to hear," he replied, that paw still big and warm and cozy against my back.

"Positive," I replied.

"Heheh."

Smooch. Just a little kiss one again. Little ticklish again. I caught his whiskers, kinda. We both snuffled. We smiled. Victor patted my butt. I let out a purr. Then I yawned. Heheh. Victor sure noticed that...giving me a slightly pointed look. A smiled and poked his nose with my own. That felt ticklish, too.

"Well can't blame me, now," I said, "you took the juices right out of me."

Victor smacked his lips suggestively. Indeed he'd gotten a taste, too. I tried not to think about that gesture too much. There was always the possibility that Rory Junior would want one more encore, and starting to hump Victor now that he seemed to be all happy and sated in his own right. I'd gotten off enough...oh yes...but that damn Dobie was all too good in getting me riled up. Had to be careful where I was putting my hips now, or the temptation might get too much. I made sure to move my knee a bit, to secure some room for myself, just in case.

"That's what I like to do," he replied.

I chuckled a bit at his equally dirty remark, and rubbed his neck with my questing paw. It was hard to stop touching him, now that was sure, even if it as just gentle and easy like this, not hot and gropey like before. Just to explore a few more inches of...you know...fur...skin...not just the body part where inches mattered.

Bad thoughts!

"Well good job you brought all that food, then," I grinned, "since I have nothing, and I'm sure I'll be feeling really hungry soon."

Victor smiled back, ears flicking about cheerfully. I wondered just what sort of things he'd brought, since I hadn't really gotten to look at them properly yet. Probably something extravagant, knowing that The Cobb had been doing the cooking...possibly wearing nothing but an apron...

Murr...

Ahem.

"Yeah, heheh, " Victor mused in response.

"You have to relay my thanks to Cobb," I smiled.

Victor chuckled.

"You didn't taste it yet," he said.

"I've tasted your brother's meat before," I replied seriously.

Victor chortled, but then he began to laugh in such a deep, rumbling manner that soon it felt like I was bouncing on top of his chest while he chuckled. I joined in and we ended into a bit of trembling heap for a while until we caught our breaths and just laid back again. Victor's paws were still on me.

"That was bad," he said.

"I know," I said, "It just kinda slipped."

Another rub-tug on my tail. I batted his leg with the tip, just to tell him that I liked the touch. Victor smiled in reply. He looked a bit thoughtful now..quite a lot, in fact. I wondered what that meant.

"Kinda...kinda wish you could've been there, you now," he said in a soft voice now.

Awww...he sounded...sweet...saying that, really. Sounding so serious, and making you know he truly felt it...knew it...and indeed had wanted it. I also knew that Cobb would've made it so damn embarrassing for everyone involved that we'd probably ended up getting drunk or something else, to dull the feeling away. No knowing how badly that would've turned out. Almost made me shudder thinking about the possibilities THE COBB could've seen in it.

AND HERES OF COURSE MY HANDSOME GAY BROTHER'S GAY BOYFRIEND RORY, AND YES THEY ARE A REAL COUPLE AND THEY DON'T CHEAT ON EACH OTHER LIKE THOSE FAIRIES DO, NO THEY ARE VERY MUCH IN LOVE AND PLAN TO GET GAY MARRIED WITH ME AS THE BEST MAN FOR RORY AND YOU CAN BE A BEST MAN FOR VICTOR AND THEN THEY WILL GET A NICE APARTMENT TOGETHER WITH A WHITE PICKET FENCE AND A NICE GARDEN AND THEY WILL GO TO VARIOUS GAY OUTINGS TOGETHER TEHEHEHEEHEHE YOU GET IT OUTINGS HHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEH BUT LETS SIT DOWN NOT HERE AND BOYS DO NOT STAY IN THAT BEDROOM FOR TOO LONG TRYING CHOOSE WHICH TIE FOR VICTOR TO WEAR WE MIGHT GET SUSPICIOUS HERE LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Wow...where did that come from? I wanted to hide from myself, kinda, going through the motions of thinking all that. Had to say something nice and assuring to Victor now, since he seemed a bit off about the fact that I couldn't have been there.

I know it was for the best that I stayed out of the way," I replied, "letting you guys catch up and all that without any complications and all that..."

Victor nodded, but despite my best smile, and my rubbing paw on his shoulder and his neck, he didn't seem completely happy yet.

"And maybe there'll be another chance," I suggested, trying to find something else to say, "once Cobb goes back to Chicago, to have another meeting...maybe I could come then?"

He nodded again, ears flicking along the motion, too, to drive the message home...but I saw something else in his eyes, too...embarrassment, was it...something...quiet...uneasy, perhaps.

"Or is there something else that happened last night that I didn't hear about yet?" I asked, wondering if me talking about meeting this friend of theirs was the thing making him feel uneasy in the first place.

It took him a while to answer...I don't know how long he considered what to say...maybe a minute...maybe it was less...but he was kinda subdued when he finally did speak.

"I feel a bit like a coward, to be honest," he said.

I frowned a bit, hearing this. What did he mean? Was he feeling bad that he hadn't put Cobb into his place or something? I knew that the matter was our worry that Cobb might end up behaving so damn annoyingly...but this sounded like something else. I didn't want Victor to ruminate that on his own for too long. He seemed so unhappy, thinking about it...calling himself a coward, even, which I thought to be the last thing he was.

"Why?" I asked simply.

Victor's ears sunk against his skull, the injured one left n a bit of an awry angle, due to still being more sluggish than the other. The paw on my back clenched a bit. He let out a deep breath.

"It...it wasn't as much about Cobb as it was about...me, Rory," he said, looking at me with eyes that I could only describe as shy.

"Hmmm?" I asked, wanting to hear more.

Another dark look from Victor. This was starting to worry me more and more now. I started to feel a bit tense.

"What's the matter?"

"I...I didn't tell Tate that I'm gay," Victor whispered.

Hmmm. He sounded so damn unhappy speaking that...and coming from the Dobie who'd so often spoken about the importance of honesty and being true to yourself...I could understand why he felt like he did.

"Well if you didn't want him to know yet..." I tried.

"It wasn't that," he shook his head, took a paw to rub it over his muzzle wearily, "it was just...I...I just...I just didn't want him to know...I mean...I told you he used to be a bit of a bully, yeah?"

I nodded. I remembered his previous words about the fox, telling how he'd been a big, bragging bastard, really, throughout his high school years, and that had been partially manifested via bad attitude and poking fun at furs. I understood that Victor had been a casual target, too.

"You did."

He snorted.

"So go figure that every time I even thought about telling him, I'd just think about how he used to walk around with his football teammates and call everyone a fag or a pansy or a pussy...and even if I know that it's just the kind of stupid shit kids do, because they think it's funny..."

"I know what it feels like," I replied. "Been there, done that, you know? Been called names and stuff, just like almost everyone, I guess."

He nodded tersely.

"It's still no excuse," he said, "it's still not really an excuse that I just couldn't bring myself to tell..."

"It's nobody else's business but yours," I said.

"Still can't help but feel like I was lying all the time...giving those...neutral answers to all questions about family and whether I was seeing anyone...damn...Rory...I was lying about you..."

I did tense a bit, thinking about that, of course...of being a secret...like a ...a vice...well, being a secret vice might not be so bad, but just being a secret in general...I could understand why he felt that was bad.

"I understand, though," I said.

"It's no excuse," Victor huffed to himself. "I should've stood up to him...but I just didn't know if he had...truly changed as much as he seemed to have..."

"I know it's hard," I said, "but it's just one of those things we just gotta live with, I suppose."

"I still feel bad for lying," he said, "and even making Cobb lie...had to tell him not to mention you or anything else about me being gay...I chickened out..."

I gave his shoulder a squeeze.

"At least remember that I don't blame you, yeah?" I said. "I understand how nervous you must've felt all the time...believe me, I've been there."

"I suppose everyone has at some point..."

"I guess."

"It still sucks," Victor made a face.

"I know it does," I gave him a soothing peck on his chin, "but just gotta live with it...go one step at a time...all that crap..."

"Crap's the word," Victor huffed.

"Yeah..." my own ears dropped as I thought about all the recent shit I'd gotten myself into...the arguments with Victor...dodging the bullets at work...Colin, "that it truly is."

"Makes me feel like a fraud," Victor said.

Well...he sure knew how to brood, too...damn...

"Just take your time," I said, "deal it in good time."

Hypocritical much?

"I know," he snorted, "but still...sorry, Rory..."

"I'm the last fur you should worry about!" I flicked my ears and smiled encouragingly, "no harm's been done."

Except that quietly, it did feel a bit odd that I'd been hidden in the closet like that...but...then again...I wasn't exactly saintly when it came to that, either...yeah...

"I'm still sorry."

"Don't be," I rumbled, giving him another gentle squeeze, "you'll cross that hurtle when you come to it, and I'll help you in any way I can."

Victor smiled a bit, and pulled me closer to his side, for more nice, warm contact. It made me let out a small, spontaneous purr.

"Thank you," he said, "I know it shouldn't matter this much, not at all, but...for some reason..."

"I suppose it's part of this whole gay business that we gotta come through a bit scratched," I replied, "just have to deal with them or they'll keep us from ever living properly..."

"I know," Victor said "I know it shouldn't be an issue...I mean...we weren't even friends back then, and we barely know each other now, but..."

"But it still means something to you," I said.

"I guess it does..." he said, not sounding happy at all, like it was a weakness.

I nudged him gently with my chin.

"At least for one it's not Cobb causing you man problems," I said half-seriously.

He chuckled.

"Oh, God, yeah, no...he behaved...can you believe it?"

"I suppose I have to," I replied with a grin.

Victor cupped my muzzle and went in for a kiss. I responded in kind, with a purr, too, a nice rub over his vibrant, slightly orangey chest.

"In that regards only, though," he said, "the rest was as mad as usual."

"I can believe that," I smiled.

We both grinned fondly at the Dobie bro's antics, no matter what. I suppose he grew on you after a while. What a thing to think about. Hah.

"Rory?"

"Yeah?" he sounded different now. More relaxed. That was good.

"There's one more thing I've been thinking about, though."

"Oh?" I didn't really have any idea what that could be now. This naked Dobie was full of surprises today, it seemed. Just glad that he wasn't brooding anymore, or at least didn't seem to be.

"Forget about Tate, but there's someone else I'd really like to meet..."

"Hmmmm?"

"Well..." he gave me a bit of a pointed look, "I didn't get to meet your parents yet, did I now?"

Wow.

Just...

*cough*

Oh my.

Where'd that came from?

It was true, of course, though...back then, there was definitely no going and meeting "Rory's friend", like my mother might put it...things had been so damn bad back then. But now...well...I suppose things were on a more steady ground...but still...

I'll be damned.

"You want to meet my parents?"

"And your version of Cobb, too..."

Justin-Cobb...oh my God...

My ears flicked curiously.

"Wow..."

"I think it would be fun," he said, "getting to meet them...getting out of the city..."

Well that'd be true...no prying Cobb...though prying mom, dad and Justin more than made up for it...not to mention the Coopers, the Scotts, the Staffords and the Gordons...that'd fuel enough gossip to last for several months, I thought.

"It's 130 miles away, though..."

"I don't mind a road trip," Victor winked.

"Well we don't have a car..." that must've sounded like I was trying to stall him...hell, maybe I was trying to...

"Hiring one for the weekend isn't that costly," he said, "would do me good to get back behind the wheel, too, if only for a little while. Still haven't heard back from the insurance company."

"Yeah..."

Victor poked the small of my back with his thumb, causing me to rear up a bit out of surprise. It didn't hurt. Just...funny. He gave me a frowning look.

"Of course, only if you think it's cool. I don't want to embarrass you with your own folks after obviously embarrassing you enough with Cobb..."

"No, it's not that," I hurried, looking at him gently, "It's just...uhh....well..."

Well how to put what I was about to say? It wasn't the easiest thing to say...not the prettiest...but it had to be said...

"...well, I only ever brought home two furs...uhhh...Peter, as a friend, though my parents had other thoughts, of course..." I snuffled at the memory of all the barely hidden curious questions, "and...well...Graham, but he only ever agreed to visit once, because it just...wasn't his thing."

I didn't like that memory at all. He'd been so bored, and hadn't hidden the fact. I'd left home feeling acutely embarrassed. Lots of make-up sex had to be had once we got back to Kirk Cit, to make me cheer up.

If only I'd known better...

Victor gave me a look.

"You worried that I'd embarrass you?" he nudged me, physically and verbally.

"No!" I let out a nervous chuckle. "It's just...it'd be kinda new..."

"If you think it's too early...I mean...."

"No!" I yelped. "I was just saying...damn..."

"Maybe we should wait, then."

"No!" my ears flicked, my mane puffed out. "I didn't mean it like that!"

"So what?" Victor frowned.

"I was just saying that I don't know how I'd react..."

"I know what it's like, even with the open-minded parents," Victor replied, "they'll be all too Cobb-like, yeah?"

I nodded, almost ashamed to admit that Victor's comparison ran quite accurate alright.

"I suspect they would be, yeah."

"So let them be," he said. "It'll make them feel good, and doesn't harm anything except our pride..."

Whatever there was left of that...harrumph.

"Well I see your point," I said.

"And besides, I'd love to see your home," he said, "maybe compliment your mom for making it a beautiful place to live in..."

"Don't you dare..."I warned playfully.

Victor blew me a kiss over the few inches between our faces.

"Can't promise not to," he gave me an all too Cobb-like smirk of innocence that managed to be truly unsettling for a moment.

I prodded his chest, just by one of those nipples I'd teased before with my tongue.

"Meanie," I huffed.

"So is that a yes?" Victor said. "Puppy eyes please?"

Oh God if he tried to make puppy eyes...

"Well alright," I caved in all too easily, perhaps, but this was Victor we were talking about, after all, "I'll call mom or dad and ask about it."

"That's great," Victor grinned.
