One Single Day: Wolf
The final chapter in One Single Day. The part you've all been waiting for, the in depth look at the mentality of Wolf as he separates from his party once they've entered the Village of Missor. Great story, has some funny parts, some sexy parts, and some sad parts. A big step in my story where now that this is the last part of the story where the character's personalities and perspectives are provided.
The next part is coming soon. Hope you enjoy the read.
The large canine watched the display shown here where one sister hugged another. Wolf smiled a bit at it seeing that Domina was trying so hard to push her away, but from what he could tell if the nightmare wanted to get away from the unicorn then she would have no problem pushing her little sister back. It was a bit funny how their equine party member always tried to put on a strong display despite having a few soft spots about her. Even with that, he wasn't going to be the one to say it. This large canine had a huge respect for Domina, her body language practically demanded and with good reason. Even if he beat her in the tournament, he still didn't want to have her on his bad side. She was one hell of an adventurer, and he had no intention of putting a rift there now.
Turning from the hug this canine watched the area with his pitch eyes. The arena that they had all met in didn't really have a surrounding town to it. There were some stands about for people to sell their goods, but everyone traveled to the arena, the rest of the time it was unused and because of that alone nobody really lived there. This came to mean that Wolf really didn't travel to towns and cities much, being a wildborne he had grown up in the woods and forests surrounding this territory. Even the amazons didn't live in large buildings like this, only their ruins and tent camps. The way that these people had built this place was amazing. One large circle around smaller circle with a huge stone fountain in the middle. Even the start of a third circle around the second had been started. An interesting design but he had to wonder if people usually got lost here because of it.
Those black, reflectionless eyes spotted someone, the sight of a doe dressed identical to the amazons from before. Seeing that they were friends now, at least from his perspective, the large canine pulled away from his group to head over and see if she needed help. His heavy footsteps reflective directly from the massive size of this brute and the massive build of his muscular body carried him the distance until he came to a stop directly at the large wooden plank with small bits of paper nailed to it. As odd as it was to see a random bit of wood sticking out of the ground for, what seemed to this canine, no reason. His attention was on the deer that had been standing here since they entered the village.
Wolf made the motion to speak but was immediately cut off by the doe that didn't honestly care what this male had to say. Presenting a small sack to the large canine the amazon spoke clearly as to not be misunderstood, "The camp sent me ahead to give you further payment for rescuing our queen. Best of luck in your adventures."
Wolf took the bag, but before he could thank her the female was already heading back down the path that they'd used to get into this village. With a slight tilt of his head he'd open the bag, noting that it did seem a bit more weighted that he would have expected from a bag its size. Opening the bad he'd move his snout into it and the instant scent of metal filled his nostrils. Looking in, the canine noticed a large amount of small, yellow, shiny circles, very similar to the ones given to him at the end of the tournament. He had to question why people kept giving him these things, but like the last ones chose the best route here to present them to the party in order to figure out what to do.
Making his way towards them, he could see that they've noticed he walked off. They didn't seem to mind his brief absence, but took quick notice when he displayed the bag to them. It was your basic brown bag, but they all seemed to perk up some, as if knowing what was inside of it. This hulking canine grew a bit curious how they were already aware of its contents, but this wasn't for Wolf to ask. Even now, just after showing them the bag itself, the others seem to grow increasingly impatient to get at the small circles that rested within. It wasn't as though the canine would keep the bag to himself; these small bits of metal didn't mean anything to him. Passing the bag on to someone else would be the best bet here, the clearest option. That way if they did decide to grow even more impatient, it wouldn't be towards him.
In a hurry Wolf passed the bag on to Lilly. There had been no reason. Maybe she was just closest, maybe it was because she was to his left. No matter what the reason he just handed it off. It was only a second after that he'd notice Flora had been reaching for it. Given the tension between the tigress and the squirrel already, this large canine had to hope that this may not open up a completely new wound between them. It was so odd how well they worked as a team when they had a common enemy, but once that enemy was gone Flora would immediately start going after Lilly over anything. With this in mind, it became instantly odd that Flora didn't say anything negative at all towards the squirrel once the coins were divided, instead turning away from the group to head off somewhere.
Domina headed off with Flora, and this drew a bit of sadness from the canine. Here, even as they walked away, he felt that they might be leaving and that he'd never see them again. The loneliness of the idea came quickly into his mind and spread like a plague where he wanted to chase them down in order to stay with them. It was Lilly who was his saving grace this time, though. Her call to them mentioning that everyone would meet up at the Inn. With simple blinks he'd look to the squirrel, but turned to head off in search of this "inn" that she mentioned. If everyone was meeting there then he could very easily meet up with them when they arrived later on.
There was a problem with his plan, his scheme to meet up with the others quickly and efficiently. Wolf, being the wildborne he was, had never heard of an "inn" before, and needed to locate it before he could wait there. Normally a person would simply read signs, but in Wolf's case, reading wasn't something he was capable of doing. Instead he'd have to rely on a completely different method to gather this information. Those pitch black eyes scanned around easily for someone to get this information from, anyone to get this information from. It didn't take long for those eyes to fall on the image of one of the shop keeps where he quickly stepped his way up to him.
"What can I do for WOAH!" he hadn't been expecting to see someone Wolf's size, this massive canine stood towering over this man with his war horse size and strength.
"Where is an inn?" he asked softly to the shop keep who only smiled back at him and pointed over to the side. The sign above the doorway might as well have been written in tree language for all it helped him, but now that he had someone to point him the way this canine moved towards the tavern in order to wait for his party.
Most people in his position would be out looking for work, extra jobs, small crafts, anything to make that small bit of additional money. Where Wolf didn't understand finances he knew that anything he'd ever need could be found out in the wild. In this very way he didn't see a purpose in doing work outside of his usual adventuring quests. This lead him to seek the location where they would be meeting, to wait for them to finish with their shopping and quests before returning to him. The last thing that this large canine wanted was to be left behind, or to find himself without his party for some reason or another. He'd grown used to these girls, and valued them as adventurers. Losing them now would be a major damper on his mood.
Wolf turned himself from the vender, leaving the man in his stall and following the aim of the finger point. Heavy footsteps carried this massively muscular canine towards the direction of the large building. The dust from the street lifting even as those pitch eyes turned around himself to realize that he was, in fact, alone. It was the first time in a couple weeks of travel that he was actually alone, or at least what felt like a couple of weeks, but that came from Wolf's major inability to understand numbers enough to tell time and days. He hadn't been bred to be a scholar, or even educated at all. This large canine had been bred specifically for the fights, for the tournaments, for the bare existence of the sexual combat that he had been raised to master his entire life.
This heavily muscular canine finally reached the building that was locally known as both the inn and the tavern. His eyes locked on the iron ring that hung down the center of this massive wooden door. With an easy reach he'd grip the loop and give a pull, the door unjaring from its threshold and then allowed him easy entry into the building. On the other side sat a rope, something that one could use to pull the door shut with, but the inside was far more dark than he'd expected for this time of day. Even with the windows allowing light into this building, the light was dim at best. Wolf had no reason to lift his head or he'd see the closed roof windows that would have allowed even more light into this place. Even here, with the dim lighting, he was able to see perfectly, cutting the shadows with his pitch eyes like they didn't even exist.
The sounds of the people communicating with one another mixed easily with the sound of people trying to talk over one another creating a roar of talking, laughing, of tales of conquest and adventure. Even as these people spoke, crowding tables, sitting alone, everyone having their own individual niches that they fall into. Even Wolf worked to locate a vacant table, not interested in hearing the tales of slain dragons, or defeated bandit camps. He was here waiting for his party to finish their personal business, to allow them time to complete whatever it was that they did in this town. Even if he were to listen to these tales, there wasn't much to be learned from them. In a way, this large canine enjoyed the excitement that came with learning things all your own when it came to defeating monsters. It was a choice to not listen to them, but soon became a demand as he turned his pitch eyes up towards the stage.
He'd already caught someone's attention here. It was hard for him not to, with his muscle mass and the fact that this canine wore nothing more than what he was born with, it was only expected that he'd draw someone's attention soon enough. He'd told himself that he'd refuse any company, wanting to keep his party first even when they were away, but the way that she waved to him, beckoned him. It made him want to find out more about what she wanted. Curious eyes carried this canine towards the creature that had been calling him since he entered the door.
The unique purple fur of the female rabbit drew his attention first. It wasn't his place to say what was natural, or not, not even what could be dyed, but he slowly made his footsteps towards the edge of the stage that she was watching him from. Some kind of employee maybe? The way that she was dressed, wearing loose bits of cloth, not like the dancer from before, but this one was more similar to someone simply waiting to remove the bits of cloth for the right guy. For some reason he felt that he might be that guy.
"It's not every day that we get someone like you here, hun." She said to him softly, her voice like soft chimes whispering in the wind, "Why not come up and sit in my chair. I want to put on a good show for the others." Her statement was finished with a wink.
This large canine moved his hands to the surface of the stage. This bunny taking some steps back in order to give him room to climb up while she saw him rise in front of her, lifting himself up to his knees then his feet. This massive beast towered the smaller creature watching her with his pitch eyes as he stood straight up in front of her. This display completely blocking the view from the audience thanks to their incredible size difference. It became quickly obvious that she hadn't been expecting this massive sized canine to be as large as he was, but there was no way that this bunny was going to show her adoring fans that someone was too big for her show.
She'd slip past the wolf, lifting her hands into the air with a smile. "Give him a good cheer guys." She called to them, wanting them to show their support for her show and her most recent companion.
For this bunny they all cheered loudly, the inn filling with the loud calls of the crowd even as they adjusted themselves to be able to view the stage better. Eyes locked on the massive wolf and the smaller rabbit that came up to just under his chest. With the cheers coursing through this place Wolf was able to pick up a name for this female, something to call her, or at least what everyone else was calling her. Without saying anything he turned his eyes down to her, facing this group in all of his naked and hulking glory.
"Ginger," he spoke down to her softly, "What are we doing?" Wolf was usually a "wait and see" type of person, but here he was worried that she was going to try and do something that might hurt her because of their incredible size difference.
"The big woofy is having cold feet. Give him a bigger round of applause everyone!" she called to the crowd once more that once again backed her up entirely. Cheers once again rang through the building and the wolf tilted his head a bit feeling her hand press against his chest. "As for you, sit down."
It was obvious that she couldn't push against him, but this canine sat down at her lead, feeling her hand press against his chest all the way down until he was seated once again, this time on the stage in a seat facing the crowds that were celebrating his latest positioning on the stage. Or maybe they were celebrating whatever performance this purple bunny was going to be providing them. Wolf had no clue what to expect from here, and even where she vanished behind him once more the canine ears twitched at the sound of music starting to play. It was hard to pin point, but if he had to guess the band playing the music must be behind the stage, in the back. He had to think about what form of performance would require music, but as a wildborne, and completely unfamiliar with modern culture, he couldn't make a guess to answer that kind of question.
His body straightened up in the chair when he felt that purple hand slide around his massive chest in order to feel at his pects a bit. Just as he leaned his head down to look at the hand rubbing his chest this canine felt her kisses along the opposing side at his neck. A soft gasp exiting the large beast where he relaxed instantly in his seat while the groomed nails of the bunny scratched deeply along his chest. She continued to kiss along his neck whispering a moan to him that only he could hear. His hand moved up slowly, gripping the back of her head to help guide her further into those little bunny kisses.
Ginger's movements were graceful where she swayed her hips eagerly in time with the music that played. Using the motion to step around the wolf, and with a fast kick, swing her leg over his lap in order to rest there, shaking her hot little bunny tail for the room to see while she pressed those large breasts against his lower chest. Her ankles crossing in his lap, giving her access to lift and drop as she saw fit, still moving in time with the beat of the music. She'd look directly up at Wolf, studying him and smiling when she saw that her talents were working even on him. If she couldn't seduce the biggest guy in the room, then she should just turn in her dancing shoes now.
"It's been a while, Shikari." She said to him softly, "What brings you out of your territory?"
His ears perked at the name, where he looked down at her with those pitch black eyes. Simply and easily he answered this smaller creature with a soft tone in his voice, not wanting to disturb her show for the others. The last thing he needed was to be known as the guy that ruined a tavern's performance. That would have some kind of terrible backlash that this canine couldn't even fathom. Watching her, she was absolutely waiting for an answer, waiting for him to explain why he was in her town rather than his own clearing with his people.
Finally the word slipped out, "Tournaments," Was all he said to her while watching her closely. He'd hate to think that she might try and stop him in some way. His elders had told him to be careful. Instead a bright smile appeared on her face, something that she thought was either amazing, or hilarious, or both, that brought the happy grin that almost messed up her rhythm. If she did drop rhythm then it wasn't going to be for long. This bunny was an absolutely professional.
"You actually took the deal. You must be desperate. If anyone can do it, I think it would be you, Hunk." She lifted herself to plant a hard kiss to his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck and bobbing her amazing hips easily before uncrossing her ankles in order to sit down on his lap with her amazing rump pressed right against his sheath. A rolling motion would make small circles around his thickening bag of fur until finally the head would slip free from its container. When this large beast moaned out again he felt her cheeks easily rubbing, tracing up the exposed length and only making it longer and thicker. An easy straddle of his legs would finally allow her to lean forward, pressing her impressive rack against his knees while his thickness was in full display to the crowd that she gave an easy wink to.
A fast twist presented this rabbit to face him once again. Laying on her back on his legs with her own legs spread wide to display herself to him. Her hands easily removing her clothing and tossing the articles into the crowd to give them something to remember her by. Wolf leaned back in the seat looking over this amazing bunny, seeing her every curve and every bend before she sat up again, this time with her feet on his thighs so that she could stand up in his lap. In an easy lean she'd stick out her hips for everyone to see her swollen pussy, dripping with glistening perfection as it was slowly lowered towards his thick shaft.
Wolf could see Ginger taking it slow here, wanting to test his waters and make sure that she could handle this before going down full force. The crowd watching in anticipation as she spread her cunny lips around the head, letting it slide into her, drenching it against her walls. Lower and lower she sunk, allowing her body to stretch naturally, but slowly while her head came to rest against Wolf's shoulder. This canine feeling her crushing every single inch of what he had exposed to her, and soon with an eruption of applause she'd finally come to sit fully down on his lap, panting hard at the very feeling of having someone his size in her as deep as he was.
His hips instinctively told him to thrust, but it became instantly obvious that she was going to be in charge here. Thrusting would do no good at all where her feet were on his thighs. She controlled her motions, and his, where if he tried he'd only throw her off of him. The lick that came across his lips showed everyone just how deliciously tight this smaller creature was, how much he enjoyed the feeling of her depths wrapped around his thick meat. He could even see her clinching her teeth, holding herself back from gushing out instantly just from his size alone inside of her, but then again she wasn't a fighter like Wolf was. Ginger turned her eyes up to his face again, seeing him grinning down to her and providing a bit of a smirk herself, finally starting to get used to the feeling of him.
"You ready, puppy?" She said softly to him.
Of course Ginger wasn't going to give him a chance to respond, she was controlling this, this was her show. Her legs lifting her easily, pushing against his thighs to raise her body up the length of his shaft before she lowered herself back down, much faster this time than the first. Wolf moaned while leaning back against the chair, allowing her to show her skills, and they were very impressive. This canine moving his hands up finally to grip at her hot rump, helping to guide her, but those hands were quickly slapped away as she made sure he had no opportunity to turn the tables on her. Each lift was faster than the last, each drop as deep as she was able to take him. Her body was finally relaxed around his thickness and able to stretch in order to accommodate the size.
A look over her shoulder would help to tease the crowd further, giving them a display of "You could be next" which only drove the cheers louder. With an elegant, practiced, movement she'd turned on the canine dick, twisting herself around it and drawing a loud moan from the wolf where he was forced back into the chair again by her hot butt pressing against his abs while her motions continued, now facing the audience. Loud moans coming from the bunny where she watched all of them. The feeling of that enormous length inside of her while watching some of the furs moving their hands and vanishing under tables. The attention, the lust, fed her well. Those rabbit eyes finally closing easily when she cried out to them all and felt herself finally release her bunny seed down the length of his shaft and sheath. Even through the hard panting she continued her motions, wanting to work that cock to its very limits.
Smirking down at the bunny he'd just juiced the canine opened his mouth to speak a bit, still feeling the tight pleasure of her continuing even through her own orgasm. Those eyes turned towards the sudden flash of light that was the door opening to the side. Those same eyes widening quickly when he noticed exactly who it was that entered. The sight of the white squirrel standing there looking up at him on the stage, and she looked very angry with what she saw. This canine became instantly terrified, but as she left he suddenly felt a sense of dread that told him to catch up to her before she could get away. If he let her leave then she might end up leaving the party entirely. In the very truth, Wolf didn't want to lose anyone from his group, he liked them all and they were finally starting to learn how to work as a team.
His skill was displayed instantly when this strong canine moved his hands to grip Ginger under her knees, a fast lift of his hips would hilt her completely around his thickness causing her to cry out loudly in pleasure before he'd lift her easily off of him. With a quick twist he'd turn his entire body to place her down in the chair while he rushed off towards the door. Wolf had no idea what would happen in her show now, but knew that he needed to catch up to his party member that had just stormed out. The terrifying feeling that he'd once again done something she didn't like, and this time it wasn't even actually his fault. There was no way for him to know what the bunny was going to do, but then again he could have stopped it. No, this was his fault and he needed to face her.
Wolf found Lilly just outside the door, reaching his hand out to her shoulder just as she turned fast to yell at him. He hadn't noticed the other two had caught up with them finally and that the party was once again together. The squirrel ordered him to sit, he did, she could have ordered him to cut out his eyes and he would if it made her stop yelling at him. This massive beast staring up at her, hoping that he could do something to make her happy again. This hulking wolf still didn't understand why Lilly had such a problem with him being with others. To Wolf it was just endurance training, where he had never been taught to understand the correct procedures and intentions of sex, only having his life born and raised to revolve around these competitions. He took any opportunity he could to train, to build his endurance and stamina so that he could be a better fighter, but Lilly always seemed to be upset afterwards.
Finally he watched as Flora moved behind Lilly, the squirrel didn't seem to notice, but with a hip bump the rodent would be forced forward into his arms that caught her quickly and easily. It was an odd move for Flora, usually she went out of her way to hurt and mess with Lilly, but even the tigress must have realized exactly what the group healer needed. He'd expected her to push off of him, to continue yelling, but the squirrel just rested there, crying against his white fur while he held her, nuzzling the top of her head and passing his snout through her golden hair.
"I'm sorry." He said softly to her, having no idea what he'd done wrong, but knowing that somewhere, somehow, he'd hurt her again.
She said nothing back, just relaxing, the crying finally stopping and soon she pushed herself to her feet and smiled to the canine. He sat there for a bit longer, watching the group and with a lean against the wall of the inn he could tell immediately that they were going to go far together. Righting wrongs, and taking down monsters. Maybe his favorite squirrel needed to vent her emotions, to clear herself out a bit. These adventures have a tendency of taking a lot out on people. Always confronting trouble, always putting yourself on the line for others. It's not an easy job to take up, and at time it can be too much. This was the ultimate goal of a group, and here it seemed that this group finally clicked, even if it was for this one moment Wolf could be happy that everyone was finally getting along.
When the tears finally stopped Wolf watched Lilly pick herself up from his arms. A smile on his lips when he felt her rise and soon followed to lift himself up as well. He'd continue to watch her, but soon turned those eyes to focus his attention the others in this group. Flora and Domina also both seemed to relax now that it was all over. Even the sun lowering the in the sky indicated that this very eventful day was coming to a close. It would come to seem that some omens are simply wrong. This hulky canine turned to follow his party into the inn once again and turned his eyes towards the people that had turned to look back at him.
The pitch black gaze turned back towards the stage, but it became instantly evident that Ginger wasted no time in finding someone else to perform a lap dance on. The horse that had replaced him looking almost tortured by her methods, doing everything he could to last like Wolf had, but there was no hope for this equine. Ginger even smirked as they walked by and gave the large puppy a slight wink while he moved towards the stairs. It had been easy to book a room for the night, deciding to sleep in the same room for the sake of cost expenses. Still this day had been long for everyone and it was finally time to get some sleep.
The group rested well, all but Wolf that stared out the window towards the woods and stars. He felt the snuggling presence of Lilly scoot closer to him where she had climbed into his bed at some point and now his arm was wrapped around her to hold her close against his muscular body. Once in a while he'd lightly nuzzle her soft white fur, just for the sake of feeling it against his own, but soon his pitch eyes opened wide, staring down at the street below where someone was looking back at him directly through his window. It was almost hard to believe that someone had just appeared in his site, his keen senses usually avoided such things. With a slow movement this red furred female rabbit waved to him, wanting him to come to her, and signaling so with only the most subtle motion.
With an easy lift he'd move to place the squirrel down on his bed and made his way quickly from the room and down the stairs. He made careful sure not to wake anyone at all, and did his best to be as light footed as he was able. The boards creaked a bit on the stairs, but that was to be expected thank to the weight he was putting on it. And with an easy movement through the closed bar area, and the vacant location, Wolf instantly noticed the empty seat that he had been sitting in earlier. The roaring crowd no longer here as everyone either made camp or got a room. It was more odd to see this place like this with the chairs on the tables and the stage completely bare. Finally his hand pressed to the door of this building, gripping the rope attached to it, with an easy pull he'd open himself to the outside world. His site turned to see that red bunny still standing there.
She was dressed in what could only be described as a belly dancer outfit, it only took a second before he fully recognized her once again. He didn't have to say anything out loud to her, knowing that she recognized him as well. They had met in the tournament, but she wasn't one of the contestants, this female was the performer that they had used to separate the semi-finals from the final round. He hadn't gotten a good look the first time, but her display to him was entirely impressive. The thin fabric that made up her clothes should have been easily seen through, but they're color made it impossible to see her bits through her fur and the fabric itself. A very clever person to have realized such a thing. What drew his attention the most was her eyes. They were a complete opposite of his own where hers were a pure white. The way she held herself, the way that she stood, it would seem that she could see even with this. As if seeing everything, and at the same time nothing.
There was something about this rabbit, the way she held herself, the manner that she stood. It proved that she knew more than she would let on, but Wolf could see past such things, able to tell some of the most basic body language thanks to his pack. Wolfs raised by packs out in the wild never spoke verbally, they only communicated through body language. This was true to the point where they didn't even give each other names, anything that they needed to say was presented specifically through non-verbal communication. This was the secret to why he was known as "Wolf", when speaking to anyone that was not part of the pack, it was understood that you would have to speak using words, and as a name sake a wolf may use his species to identify himself.
"Something terrible has happened, Wolf. You're pack has been attacked. It is important for you to go to them now." She said this, turning to leave before he had a chance to reply.
The words seemed to confuse the large canine. It was odd to consider the idea that anyone would be foolish enough to attack a pack like Wolf's. They had existed in these woodlands for longer than most developed civilizations, and had never attacked anyone. They had set up a border to their lands and only did what they needed to in order to keep people out of their territory. Why would someone attack them? No, something had happened, there was information missing from this report. Heavy footsteps started, but soon rose in pace until he tore into a full on sprint from the village itself, tearing into the woods and passing through the darkness like a quickly fading beacon of light vanishing into the depths of the forest.
Lilly stirred from her spot, reaching for the soft fur of the canine only to find that he was missing from beside her. Eyes opening quickly where she sat up to look over the bed, but the passing of a large white creature outside quickly caught her attention. With a gasp she jumped down from her acquired sleeping spot, her feet planting on the ground while she quickly moved to correct her dress a bit. That hand patting the bed posts of two others that housed her sleeping companions. The panicked patting, the urgent display, and the other two were up and at arms instantly, ready to take out any threat that had presented itself. Both sets of eyes locking on the squirrel when they found that the room was empty.
"Wolf just ran off into the woods. We've got to go catch up with him!" The squirrel had no idea what was going on and was close to tears almost begging that they suit up and go chasing after Wolf.
Despite their own feelings about the event that was explained to them these two did as they were told and quickly moved to gather their gear. Domina slipping on her armor that didn't require strapping and Flora making sure to have her dagger and her dress smoothed down. In almost a record time for this party they were out the door and rushing down the stairs, bits bouncing with every step until they were outside and racing into the woods to follow the fading white fur of the canine while they took chase after him. Hearts pounding, none of them had ever thought someone his size would be capable of moving as fast as this large canine was able to, but that proved his impressive training, and his unique skill set. If they did lose the canine it was only for a second, before they rounded a tree to locate his white fur once again shining out in the moon light.
Finally they caught up with the canine, locating him on his knees where he stared out over a large opening in this forest. The panting squirrel coming to place her hand on Wolf's shoulder as his head hung low. Her gaze had been locked on him. Flora's hands moved to her mouth in complete surprise, and even Domina was taken aback by the sight that presented itself to her. Finally Lilly lifted her own eyes towards the view before her, a sadness washing over her figure, her body turning an even further pale than it already was. The display before her driving her very heart into her throat as a lump.
"No..." Was the single word flowing from her mouth, echoing in her mind and their ears even as a whisper.
