The life of the wolf Brian Ferrey

Here i am writing again!

This story has a strong and steady plot that ill try my best to finish. This is just my intro to see if its interesting for you guys, i hope it is. I have some cool plans for this one.

It had been two months since his parents had left each other and for Brian; the stress managed to gnaw into his reason and quiet self. His father had been upset and so was his mother.

The first day of the month was the beginning of the second semester in university, and he had just moved into an apartment, away from all the family stress. It was large and a little lonely. Originally made for three students but he could find no one else who was willing to be his roommate. All his friends had their own places. So for now, one of the rooms held his drum set, guitar and small analogue mixing desk.

Brian was a wolf. Six foot flat in height and around 90kg's with thick black fur and an odd white left ear. He was a strong built male with big ambitions if the world were to let him to it.

Today, on the first of July he woke up brushed his teeth and looked at him-self in the mirror after taking a long hot shower. Predominant pecks, flat strong abs and thick arms and legs were all he could see in himself. He has been feeling lonely for so long... he could just go out and get himself some company if he tried. He had the body and if he tried, his personality might just get him through.

He gazed at himself, shivering from the cold air and his wet fur. He quickly grabbed a towel and made his way to the lounge. Not caring to cover himself; he was alone after all. The room was a large expanse with a big window that had a door leading out to a decent private patio. The apartment was on the third floor of a six story residential building made for university students.

He sat down on the large leather sofa and flicked on the tv. There was still an hour before his first lecture; he could enjoy something before he had to get ready.

His eyes trailed from the screen; maybe he could make a few notices for roommates and put them up in the lecture theaters. "Looking for a male roommate", only one. He wanted to keep the other room for instruments and things.

That seemed like a good idea; before he set out he made a notice and printed several of them. Getting dressed in his loose jeans and hoody with a bring me the horizon t-shirt, he left the apartment to walk to his lecture theater down campus.

After class he decided to move to the campus café where he could place a poster. It was 10:30 in the morning. Not very busy at all, students were still asleep and were missing classes. Brian never missed a class. He couldn't bring himself to do it, even though he looked very much like a rebel kind of guy.

He skipped past the outside benches that lay before the threshold of the Café. The area smelt of coffee roasting and muffins. There was a notice board right beside the main entrance, a good place to put his notice. He moved up and pinned his page with tacks he pried from old posters on the board. He stood back to check his handiwork. A voice said behind him "How will they get hold of you?"

Brian shuddered "Fuck dude!"

He looked around at his unexpected onlooker. The blue scaled dragon stepped back, his claws in the air "Hey now bro! Sorry I didn't mean to scare you!"

Brian looked at the Dragon, a bit taller than him and much more bulky. Definitely a gym guy, but what struck him was the t-shirt he wore. Bring me the horizon... he looked at the dragon again who was grinning "Your notice has no way of contacting you"

Brian looked back "Shit, so it does... thanks"

"No problem" the dragon replied curtly and produced a black marker.

Brian took it "thanks"

He turned and quickly inked in his cell number onto his notice before handing it back to the dragon who took it and bid him a good day.

Brian watched him go, confused. He could ask him if he wanted to stay with him in the apartment. Or just to be his friend.. Why not? He could use a new friend or mate or even just a stranger to talk to for the day. It didn't actually matter what sexual preference his roommate had did it? Just so long as he wasn't lonely. He summed up his courage to shout "Hey dude!"

The dragon stopped and looked back at him with a face that rather expected the call.

Brian froze for a second "Do you play any instruments?"

The dragon smiled again, a smile that made Brian want to smile back which he did. "I play the drums... you?"

"Lead guitar and a-little drums"

The dragon now looked interested and retraced his path back to the wolf "What kind of music?"

"Metal-core stuff"

The dragon nodded, then asked Brian a question he thought he'd never receive. Not even from his friends.

"Do you want to get a coffee err...."

Brian looked at the dragon with a blank expression. The realized why the dragon faltered."Oh! My name is... um..." Brian could still not process what was happening "Um... Brian Ferrey"

"My name is Kenneth Simon" the dragon said politely "Do you drink coffee?"

Brian mustered a yes as the dragon put his claw on the wolfs back as he led him out to the street "Good! There's a decent coffee shop down the block"

Brian nodded "by all means"
