James's eyes opened slowly, his pupils focused on Andrew. For a long moment, nothing was said as the two looked at each other. Licking his lips, James did his best to smile. "Hey..."
"Hey yourself," Andrew said, holding his mate's paw up to his cheek. "You're going to be okay."
"Yeah," he said, squeezing Andrew's paw. "I think I am..."
